Info Source 80FIGL_O06 is not defined in source system

Hi BW Experts,
When I am trying load data from ODS to Cube, I am getting a error messgae stating:
Info Source 80FIGL_O06 is not defined in source system
Error in Source system
This is an urgent issue. Please let me know if you have any suggestions...

You can do this 2 ways. Right click on the ODS and say generate export datasource. The datasource will start with 8... and you can find that under Datamarts in RSA1-> Infosource. You can then create an infopackage and load from ODS through the update rules. You have the option of full load or delta load.
The other way you can go about this is again right click on the ODS and say update to data targets and just follow from there.
Did you follow the above steps? Where exactly is your problem?

I am also facing the similar error, whne uploading data from an ODS to further data targets.
I did follow th instructions advised, and I tried searching in the Service Market Place with the term,
" " Infosource is not defined in source system " " but couldnot find any correction notes.
Could you let me know the notes, you followed up to resolve this issue,

Data source 80BP_ID does not exists in source system

Hi All,
I have just started with standard content for SD module.
I activated my datasources 2lis_11_vaitm and 2lis_12_vcitm in my R3 system.
After replicating these data sources in my BI system i went to BI Content to activate my Info sources.
While installing info sources 2lis_11_vaitm and 2lis_12_vcitm i got errors namely
Data source 80BP_ID does not exists in source system
Datasource 80BP_REL not maintained.
Can somebody pls suggest a way out.

Hi Rohit,
When ever you try to install the SD related Standard business content then it will automatically pick up the CRM related data. the 0BP_ID, these are related to the CRM.
Please uncheck the unrelated objects while installing the STD content.
you can select the option in the grouping as ONLY NECESSARY OBJECTS.

TO Error: Source HU ******* is not contained in Source storage unit *******

Dear All,
Our warehouse Handling Unit managed. I have created a delivery which is partially picked.
After that when I am trying to create Transfer Order, I am getting an error "*Source HU ******* is not contained in Source storage unit ******"
I am getting a pop up window in the name of "Enter withdrawal of Handling Units", and it is asking me to enter the Quantity to be repacked.
I am getting this error only when I am doing Partial picking.
How to get rid of this error. Kindly suggest.

This can be the whole pallet have to be withdrawn from the source (flag LTAP-HOMVE is set on, 'X'), but HU picking control does not propose the source HU as the destination HU (flag LTAP-HUPIK is clear, ' '). Kindly check.
If that is not the case then, for your reference refer following SAP notes:
- 662020:      Processing of TO with different storage types
- 514604:      Storage unit is not deleted when posting goods issue
- 721901:      Errors LF-064, L3-848 while picking w/o pick-HU
- 552073:      Message L3222 when creating transfer order with LT09

I'm running eclipse Version: 3.2.2 Build id: M20070212-1330, on a Vista Home Premium Toshiba laptop. Everything was working fine before i installed the Java JDK 5 and JDK 6. Now all of sudden when i try to run one my programs that worked in the past i get the following error:

I'm not sure where to go from here...I've looked up a few articles that mention going into some system.ini files...etc... to make sure the variable are ok but i feel like i'm getting in over my head.

Struggling to Run

Ok...after I thought everything was going well enough.... problems are arising.
Here's where I'm at and that will include how i got a "nano" error. After a lot of late night messing around I ended up installing a few important component that seem to have done some good. Firstly i installed j2sdk-1_4_2_18-windows-i586-p and ended up with a few good things. Windows was happy when i changed the path variables in the environment setting to point to the newly created c:\program files\java\j2re1.4.2_18\bin folder. This allowed me to start up eclipse properly and use some functions in CMD. In CMD when i use the command java -version it reads Java version 1_.4_.2_1_8. Next i installed the j2sdk-1_4_2_13 jre 1.6.0 environment and ended up with a new folder in C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.6.0 as well.
with the two environments installed i thought i was ready fro the next step.
I got started on eclipse and now that it was opening i was feeling good. Next i opened window --> preferences --> java --> installed jre's and i started adding things like crazy. My current list of comprised of many things which I'm certain should all be there at this point so I'll list them:
j2sdk1.4.2_13 - C:\j2sdk1.4.2_13
j2re1.4.2_18 - C:\Program Files\Java\j2re1.4.2_18
j2sdk1.4.2_18 - C:\j2sdk1.4.2_18\jre
j2sdk1.6.0 - C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.6.0
jdk1.6.0 - C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0
I've set the preferred jre to be set to jdk1.6.0 - C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0 and it seems to work for all of my programs that do not have the input.scanner. However for the projects that do have this method i get a few different errors:

Now i feel like the second error is lying to me because i know that bit of code is written properly.... i believe it is related to a problem not locating the proper classes.
Anyhow I'm still pushing along but some help at this point would be much appreciated. It's very weird some things with the scanner are working now..... I don't know I'm not totally convinced yet everything is OK.

Hello Henry,
If it is a One Client Scenario the BBPGETVD transaction will not work. You will require to use MDS_LOAD_COCKPIT for vendor replication for the same.

Debliery Units : VENDOR IS NOT DEFINED FOR THIS SYSTEM

Dear Experts,
In prespective modeler , tried creating 'DELIVERY UNITS'. However get error message
"CANNOT CREATE DELIVERY UNIT AS CONTENT VENDOR IS NOT DEFINED FOR THIS SYSTEM" ?
How can we maintain CONTENT VENDOR ? we are using in-house HANA installation.

Data Source Z*** is not defined in the source system

Hello All,
I am facing a well known problem extracting data from R3 to the BI side. On both sides I've got SAP ALL.
I created data source on R3 DEV side, tested it and it extracts data. I've replicated metadata on BI side and activated the data source. The problem starts once I create the info package as no data is availble in PSA.
I went to extractor checker and tried to start the extraction and I could see the message: data source Z**** not defined in the source system.
I tried to locate the data source through RSA5 and I cannot see that it is availble there.
Can you please help and advise where the problem is?

It can be related to many issues, one of them can be RFC connection issue. Please check the link below :-
Datasource xxx is not defined in the source system
It might give you some of ideas. Also if possible can you tell what Datasource are you having problem with.

Backend Source of Supply not supported for Direct Material in SRM

Hi ,
When creating S/C or PO in SRM for Direct Material , backend Source of Supply ( i..e Purchasing Info Record or Backend Contracts ) not availble to select as a sourc of supply .
In our case, we are planning to maintain the sourc of supply (PIR or Contracts) in back end MM system only , then how can pick up the same ?
Can anyone please suggest on this .

It is still pending for me . i just raised OSS message to SAP ...but SAP saying that
" I checked and found that in the classic scenario , Direct Materials cannot use backend contracts. The behavior described above is in accordance with the system design. Only local sources of supply (local contracts and interlinkages) can be
used in the direct material scenario, as well as as in the extended classic scenario . Therefore the above error message which you get "Specify a valid contract" is valid."
I replied with the doubt that "Thanks for reply but we are not convenience, since what we learnt from
different SAP Blogs, Below SAP help and SRM Experts discussion forum
is, for Ext Classic Scenario (since for direct materials it always
tales by default Ext Classic Scenario, although we implemented Classic)
Local SRM contract and Supplier List are the possible Source of Supply.

we are currently upgrading the addon that created using VB6 from B1 2004A to 2007A. When compiling or make project dll file, there is an error message : "Compile Error : variable not defined"
then the system shows or highlight
Private Sub Form_Load()
CRViewer.Top = 0
CRViewer.Left = 0
etc
How to resolve this problem ? Pls give advice.

Hi Manohar,
Language RU (Russian) is not defined in our system and therefore the translation in CUNI is not the appropriate solution for this error.
Instead, we just maintained the vendor master to be in EN language to stop the system error.

How many delivery note defined in standard R3 system ?

Dear Guru,
I am checking the delivery note in one R3 system....
Scene :
i found the delivery note number filled in the "MB03" screen which is "17515882", but i can not find it via Tcode 'VL03N' & 'VL33N' ....
Is it has another delivery note defined in R3 system except for the inbound delivery and outbound delivery ?
If yes how to check it ?

The delivery not number is in general a field to capture an external number, the number from the vendors delivery note.
In STO process you can use the outbound delivery note number as reference to post your GR.
In both cases the number is stored in the same field.

Content vendor is not defined.

Hi, all.
When I try to create a Delivery Unit from the Quick Launch in the Information Modeler, the following error message is shown:
Cannot create Delivery Unit as content vendor is not defined for this system.
Then, I found the 'content_vendor = UNDEFINED' in the indexserver.ini.
Could you please let me know how I can fix this problem?

Hey this solution is not working for me in SP06. The Dev_Guide says I should create a delivery unit in the Livecycle Manager(lm).
The System Vendor in the indexserver.ini is already set correcly.
If I try to create a delivery unit in the livecycle manager there is the following error message:

VF02 - Error in Outbound Idoc - "Form of Address Key is not defined"

Hi,
While processing the outbound idoc in VF02, i am getting an error "Form of Address Key is not defined".
Our system has been recently patched.
While processing the idocs in VF02 (for the invoices created earlier to the patching date), there is no error & the Idoc gets created.
I am not sure why i am gettting the above error now (that is after patching).
Please let me know if i am missing something here / is it because of the patching.
