Info tab in Get Info section is greyed out

The info tab in the get info section is greyed out on some of the songs and does not let me change them. What do I need to do? Does anyone know how?
These are songs downloaded from my CD collection.

If the files are not read only, the most likely thing is that Vista does not regard you as the owner of the files as they were created from another account, and has not granted you write permission.
You need to make sure that your account has full control or at least write permission for the folder containing your music.

My first thoughts are
• iMovie ill behaving - Trash the iMovie pref file - use to set things right
• in reg. to Photos - Did You change iPhoto Photo Library - Then iMovie get's lost as it peeks into iPhoto on start up to see where photos are stored. Set iPhoto back to first Photo Library (when iMovie is not running) then start iMovie.

How do you get rid of a greyed out 'installed' badge in apple updates?

How do you get rid of a greyed out 'installed' badge in apple updates? I have one that never wants to disappear despite having the most recent version of the software ( its evernote in case that helps). That is really the only app that doesn't want to disappear after installation. Any thoughts or ideas out there in the world wide web?

When I try to go on the internet with my iPad 2, the whole section is greyed out. I can see the webpage, but can not navigate any further.

Try:
- A reset. Nothing will be lost.
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears
- Power off and then back on the router
- Reset Network Settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
- iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections

Below is the validation that we have given:

Message: Please enter Business Place AND Section Code

Get Info shows informations greyed-out; I can't edit it!

Whenever I want to edit a song (because of a misspelling, or to make it go in accordance with the rest of the items, etc.) I find the information is there, but greyed-out, and so, am not able to edit it. This happened before the update to version 11, so I don't know what's wrong.
I have to say I had a horrendous system crash, and I had to reconstruct two hard drives, so it may stem from the consequences of that lightning strike, but I have no problem with authorizations, so I am at a loss.
Just yesterday, I put into iTunes a double CD (yes, I don't feel comfortable if I don't own my music. I have DVD's of all I've ever downloaded from iTunes Store, too, so I backup: it's a religion.) And that CD info is also non-editable.
I really need the capacity to edit my songs. Please help.

All the apps that I have downloaded are "waiting" and whenever I try to sync apps on my computer with my phone, the apps section is greyed out and won't allow me to do anything. I have tried restoring to factory settings but it didn't work.

How can I access my apps? They are all greyed out in itunes. I have tried restoring my iphone to factory settings but that didn't work. I have a feeling it may have something to with the restrictions settings on my phone restrictions are on) but it won't allow me to change the restrictions without putting in a passcode. I don't remember ever having a passcode and after several attempts have not been able to get the right code.
Also. on my phone, in settings, personal hotspot, iCloud and Twitter are greyed out. And, the App Store icon is missing from my screen as well.
Can anybody help me with this?

yep, unfortunately can't reset without the passcode either.
With regards to doing a restore, do you mean:
open itunes on my computer
click on my device on the left
go to the device summary
click restore
it then asks if i want to back up before i restore (to which i say no)
then it asks me if i'm sure I want to restore to factory settings and that all of me media and data will be erased and replaced with the newest version ( to which I say yes)
then it takes about 90 mins to do this but when I look at my phone, everything is exactly the same.
Am I missing something? Obviously I'm technologically challenged, but I HAVE to get to the bottom of this!

How can I get rid of a greyed out video title on my iPhone 4?

I deleted the video from the phone then trashed it in iTunes. I can't find the video anywhere but it shows up, greyed out, in the list of videos.

Try checking "Manually manage music and videos on the Summary tab of your iTunes sync settings, click Apply, open the folder on your iPhone on the left sidebar by clicking on the triangle to the left of its name, click on the Movies folder and see if you can click on the video and delete it from there.

Section code greyed out (supressed) in f-53

Dear all,
I have a problem. I have created a validation regarding in my Indian customers system, making business place and section code mandatory for vendor line items (account type = k)
When trying to post a vendor payment in f-53 this validation says I have to enter business place and section code on the vendor line item BUT the problem is that the field for section code is greyed out (supressed) so I cannot enter anything and cannot go on with the transaction. Business place is automatically filled so I don't have to enter anything here. Please help!

How can I re-write my validation? I want validation saying that business place and section code is mandatory for vendor line items (account 244100 and account type = K) except for vednor line items in transaction f-53.
The original validation was:

Since this message gave me error in f-53 (field section code is supressed, but business place is filled) and since section code is not in need to be filled in transaction code f-53 (outgoing payment) I changed the validation to:

SYST-TCODE <> 'f-53'
Check: BSEG-SECCO <> ''
AND
BSEG-BUPLA <> ''
Message: Error, enter section code and business place.
But stilll I am facing the same problem. Transaction f-53 is still asking me to enter section code on vednor line item, but I cannot since it is grey.
Can anyone help?

I have lost my last window of 61 tabs. Recently Closed Windows is greyed out. How do I restore my window?

RECENTLY CLOSED TABS doesn't offer what I need. And RECENTLY CLOSED WINDOWS is greyed out. Can't I roll back my Firefox to 2 days ago and recover my missing window with 61 tabs?

Your System Details list shows that you have a user.js file in the profile folder to initialize prefs each time Firefox starts.
The user.js file is only present if you or other software has created this file and normally it wouldn't be there.
You can check its content with a plain text editor (right-click: Open with) if you didn't create this file yourself.
The user.js file is read each time Firefox is started and initializes preferences to the value specified in this file, so preferences set via user.js can only be changed temporarily for the current session.
Your System Details list shows that you have preferences that were used in previous Firefox versions and that are no longer supported in the current Firefox release.
You can cleanup the prefs to have a fresh start and delete possible user.js and numbered prefs-##.js files and rename (or delete) the prefs.js file to reset all prefs to the default value including prefs set via user.js and prefs that are no longer supported in the current Firefox release.
You can use this button to go to the currently used Firefox profile folder:

"Check for updates" in Apps-Section is greyed out

Hi,
i recently have a problem when trying to update my Apps via iTunes.
When i navigate to Library --> Apps (Left side bar) the "Check for updates"-Button/Text in the right bottom corner is greyed out. So i can't update my apps via iTunes.
But there are definitely App-Updates available --> Updating directly from my iPhone works (But i don't want to load very big apps via mobile internet).
What i tried (without success):
1. Reinstall iTunes
2. Temporary deleteting all apps from my iPhone
I'm curently using iTunes 10.6.1.7 under Windows 7 Professinal 64 Bit.
Has anyone the same problem or can put me in the right direction.

Since updating to firefox 25 my "undo closed tab", "restore recently closed tabs", and "restore previous session" are greyed out, I have tried resetting default

I have only had this problem since updating to firefox 25. I have already tried resetting the ff deafaults. it did restore the "undo close tab" for a short while. but when i exited and restarted ff i have the same problem again. I don't want to have to keep resetting the defaults, because it is too time consuming to then set all my preferences again.

I had the same difficulty. Could not use the Ctrl+Shift+T combo to undo close tabs. The solutions mentioned here did not work. I turned off the add-on "Tab Mix Plus" and the keystroke combo worked. Updating to the latest version of Tab Mix Plus solved the issue.

SharePoint 2013: Infopath browser form "get form from" option greyed out

In a web part page, I was able to add an app/list web part and an InfoPath web part, where the latter is setup with a "Get Form From" data connection with the former.
Now I was trying to do the same within the edit page of the tasks list, as I was aiming to allow the user to edit the item related to the task and to approve the task from the same page. I can add the two web parts. However, the "Get Form From"
data connection is not available in this case. What do I need to do to make it so?

Hi Ahmed,
Please go to task list page and click customize form, then publish it in the InfoPath form designer.
Now add a new page in SharePoint site, insert task list web part, then insert an InfoPath form web part. Click the triangle on the top right corner > Edit web part > Connections > Get form from, see if you could select task now.
