Infocube showing zero records...

Hello All,
I am loading data from flat file to ODS then to cube, after loading the data i can see the number of records transfered and added in the ods, but not in the infocube.
Please help...

Hi MC,
Please Make sure that the data load to ODS is successful, check the number of records added to the ODS.
If everything is fine with ODS , then
1. Check the details tab in RSMO, here you can see the status of records added.
2. Check the update rule of the InfoCube.
Then delete the request from the InfoCube by making total status to RED manually.
Then reset the datamart status of the ODS request then reschedule it.

RSA7 shows zero records for delta upload of 2LIS_03_BF Datasource

Dear Professionals,
I am having constant issues with inventory management DataSource (2LIS_03_BF). I scheduled delta upload in r3 production using LBWE, keeping in mind that in LBWE there is no options for posting dates, ETC... In RSA3, there are records, but when i check RSA7, it is showing 0 records. What could be the problem. Do i need to do anything/activation anywhere in LBWE or RSA7 to see the records. Please advise.

Normally there should be a collective run which transfers data from the application-specific queues to the BW delta queue (RSA7), just like this workflow:
MCEX03 queue==> RMBWV03 (Collective run job) ==> RSA7-Delta queue => BW
It is necessary to schedule the job control regularly - see point 3 of SAP Note 505700.

CRM Segment builder Showing zero records.

Hello Gurus,
Iam running a segment builder in CRM and the BI report comes with Zero records. The report is all fine in BI and it works 100%, is there anything iam missing on the CRM side.

Hello,
I think you might be having some of the characters as mandatory in BI report. When you run the report from CRM, the report expects the value for mandatory fields. You can pass these values from CRM before creating filters in Segment Builder.
Right click on the Attribute and click on the Edit filter condition and check search help of Variable Name if any of the fields are mandatory then give the reqd values here.
Once you put the values then create the filter for attribute.
Hope this will work.

PSA had delta records but while updating to DSO it shows zero records.

I have a delta info package which picks up the delta records. The data is successfully extracted from source system and updated in the PSA. But the no of records extracted to the DSO are zero. Couldnt understand what is the problem. Request your valuable inputs on this issue.

Inside the InfoPackage which you ran, click on the Monitor button or hit F6. In the next screen, open up the folder with the correct run date and select the node - on the right hand side of the screen, click on the tab named Details. Click on No to the subsequent dialog box. Here, open up the last node named "Processing (data packet)" then open up node named "Data Package". Open up all nodes under this one and you'll probably find that either there is a custom start/end routine in the Transfer Rules or in the Update Rules which is filtering out the records from the PSA from updating the target (Cube/ODS). One of these nodes will show you the exact count of how many records came into PSA and how many were passed on to the data target to update it and the reason behind it, for e.g. "Number of data records changed form 16 to 2 in start routine".

Aggregtaor Transformation without any condition showing zero records in target table

Hi Everyone, I have a source table which has 100 records,I just passing all the 100 records to aggregator transformation. In aggregator transformation i am not giving any condition,I just mapped from aggreator directy to target table.After running this mapping in target table i found 0 records in target table. why this happing can anyone explain this?

Zero records in delta update

Dear All,
In HR :Time management (Time and Labour )(cube) 0PT_C01 two data sources are there and one is 0HR_PT_1 , during delta load it does not get any recors and it will show zero records at cube level and in r/3 rsa3 ir shows new records.Please suggest how to solve this issue.

Hi,
This is because you havent run the init load till now.
We have to run a init load before running delta(one time process).
now as you have selected init with datatransfer, you got all the records transferred.
from next time, no need to run init and you can proceed with delta.

0PS_WBS_EVA (earned value) returns zero records

I've activated the business content datasources for Project systems. I'm unable to get any records for earned values from R/3. The following datasources show zero records:
0PS_WBS_EVA
0PS_NWA_EVA
0PS_ORD_EVA
0PS_NAE_EVA
Can anyone tell me the tables to where these datasources are hitting? Help.SAP wasn't much of a help. I have already looked there.
Are there any settings within ECC that need to be changed in order to get data for the above datasources?
I'm getting data for the CO datasources related to project systems, such as 0CO_OM_WBS_6, 0CO_OM_OPA_6 and so on.
Due to zero records from the above datasources, there is no data coming in the Earned Values cube of Project systems.

The Actual Cost posted by our Functional Consultant is USD 250, but i am getting the Total Actual cost is ZERO (Sum of -250 +250) as i shown above.
the posted actual cost is +250, finally we need this figure only,
if i do restriction on Sender receiver Indicater field with S than i will get Actual Cost 250, but in SAP standard RKF for Actual Cost there is no restriction on Sender receiver Indicater field (S & H)

Purchasing Cube -- 0PUR_C01.. "Added record" is showing zero in request

When i try to load the data to this cube, my trasfer record is showing values while Added Record is showing zero values. Whats the problem. Please advise !!

Check whether do you have defined the industry sector in R/3. This has to be done before filling the setup table. search the forums with note no 353042.
This is done with the help of Transaction MCB_ which you can find in the OLTP IMG for BW (Transaction SBIW) in your attached R/3 source system.
Here you can choose your industry sector. 'Standard' and 'Consumer products' are for R/3 standard customers, whereas 'Retail' is intended for customers with R/3 Retail only.
You can display the characteristics of the process key (R/3 field BWVORG, BW field 0PROCESSKEY) by using Transaction MCB0.
If you have already set up historical data (for example for testing purposes) by using the setup transactions (Statistical Setup Programs) (for example: Purchasing: Tx OLI3BW, material movements: OLI1BW) into the provided setup tables (for example: MC02M_0SCLSETUP, MC03BF0SETUP), you unfortunately have to delete this data (Tx LBWG). After you have chosen the industry sector by using MCB_, perform the setup again, so that the system fills a valid transaction key for each data record generated. Then load this data into your connected BW by using 'Full update' or 'Initialization of the delta process'. Check, whether the system updates data into the involved InfoCubes now.
If all this is not successful, please see Note 315880, and set the application indicator 'BW' to active using Transaction 'BF11'.

Vendor code in Purchase order changed after invoice,net price showing zero.

Dear Experts ,
In one purchase order , user had done GR & invoice for a line item ( service ),item category "D" , and
thereafter somehow the system allowed user to change the vendor code. The PO line is now having amounts in
the sub-service line items , but net price for the line item is showing as zero. Since the PO was made
directly without any contract/RFQ/PR , there is no reference document or info record shown against the line
item.
In the conditions tab of Item details,the condition for basic price is not seen & since there are no amounts
applicable for the other conditions such as insurance , octroi etc., the NET price shown for the item is
Zero, which is also getting printed in the PO as zero , which is not acceptable , as we can not send to the
vendor PO copy having prices for individual services printed correctly but the total gross price showing
zero.
Pl advise what can be done so that Net Price is shown correctly & not zero.

I think the new vendor is having a different pricing schema than the old vendor. Check the pricing schema for the old vendor (in purchasing view in field 'Schema Group. vendor) and compare it to the new vendor. I think they're different.
If it is then what i think happening is the user already input the price for the condition type in pricing schema A, then the vendor is changed and the new pricing schema is kiciking in thus making the old condition type missing.
Try to either:
A. Change to the old vendor back,
B. Change the pricing schema of the new vendor to be the same with old vendor

Rebate : Scale base value is showing zero

Dear Friends,
While configuring Rebate Processing I am getting following problem :
Description: We are Maintaining Condition record on basis of Product Hierarchy for Rebate agreements.
Problem : When we want to view Rebate Payments -> Verification level, the Quantity under Scale Base Value is showing zero but appropriate accruals is coming.
My end user wants apart from Cond.base value & Accruals the Scale Base Value (which shows Quantity) should also come so that he can have a idea on what value and quantity the rebate is been given.
Note: For each Product hierarchy we are maintaining one of the SKU relevant for Product hierarchy in material for settlement field.
Expecting a good answer from u all sap gurus.....

This kind of problem was existing in my system too.
I raised this with SAP people and they told me to apply SAP note no.# 970384 after which the scale base quantity was appearing.

Zero Record Data Load Problem

Hi,
Please give your suggestion for following problem.
we are loading data from ETL (Flat File - Data Stage) into SAP BW 3.1.
data may contain Zero records. When we try to push the data into BW. At ETL side, it is showing successful data transfer. At, BW side it is showing "Processing state" (Yellow light). and all BW resources are hang-up.
When we try to send another data load from ETL side, We could not push the data as BW resources are hang up by the previous process.
Whenever we are getting this kind of problem, we are killing the process and continuing with another data Re-load. But this is not a permanent solution. This is happening more often.
What is the solution for this problem?
One of my colleague suggested following suggestion. Shall I consider this one?
Summary: when loading with empty files, data may be in the processing state in BW
Details: When user load with empty file(must be empty, can not have any line returns, user can check the data file in binary mode), data is loaded into BW with 0 records. BW will show be in yellow state(processing state) with 0 record showing, and in the PSA inside BW, 1 datapacket will show there with nothing inside. Depends on how user configured their system, BW server can either accept the 0 record packet or deny it. When BW server is configured to accept it, this load request will change to green state(finished state). When the BW server is configured to deny it, this load request will be in the yellow state.
Please give me ur suggestions.

have you tried to set the light 'judge'ment
go to monitor of one request and menu settings->evaluation of requests(traffic light), in next screen 'evaluation of requests', 'if no data is avaible in the system, the request' -> choose option 'is judged to be successful' (green).
Set delta load to complete when no delta data

Available credit quantity showing zero

Dear Experts,
while we are capturing excise for BOE,its showing the available credit quantity is zero.
but user created MIGO with reference to MIGO,but J_1IPART1the material is update against
GRPO with ROP indicator.while capturing the excise J1IEX ,its not showing the Part1 entries
and showing the available credit quantity is zero.in J_1IEXCDTL also showing zero quantity
in the available credit,please suggest me.

1)are u getting the values in GR ?
if not then check the condition record for vendor is maitained or not or the tax code used in PO is correct or not
3)is vendor is trader ?
then u need to make the manual excise entry in GRN and tick the MRP indicator then value will flow to the excise IV correctly.

Bed showing zero

i am able to see the bed and cess in order and billing documents , but not able to see in excise inovice its showing zero.
please let me know did i miss any settings..im using taxinn but havnt maintained any condition records in fv11 i think its not neccesary.
in my excise inovice im able to see the mat qty .
and what are the settings need to be done for excise inovice postings

While doing monthly utilization in J2IUN Duty amount is showing 1200 under duties, but available balance is showing as zero under utilization for BED. But in the GL + balance is available.
where to rectify to get available balance

Initialization with zero records

Hi BW Folks,
I have scheduled initialization to ODS object, Ran successfully but zero records.
After that tried to do delta the package got failed with out any proper error message. i can see only error message " Start InfoPackage XXXXX "
if i go to infopackage manually its showing message saying that " There is no active delta Initialization for this IS/QS/DATA source"
Have checked in R3 - extract checker could see only Zero records.
Can you please help me in this! Thanks in Advance.

Hi,
Thats the reason for why you are not able to do the delta loads. This request should be there in the <i>Schedular</i> as the prerequisite to do the delta loads.It does not matter even you have that request in the data target if there is no delta init info at infopackage.
So you need to do delta init one more tmie. So delete teh data from data targets. And do the delta init .

Zero records in Delta Queue for Non-LO Datasource

Hi,
I have a process chain which loads data daily and last loaded on 5th of this month which is a delta load to DSO, and then I have triggered process chain on 10th and now the process chain got successful but delta is returning zero records. I have gone through the Delta queue monitor, in that the data source is showing 0. what could be the reason for this? The data source is a Generic data source built on View and it is not a LO data source and delta is on timestamp.

Hi lokesh.
Repair Full delta option it wont distub existing deltas.....
repair full delta put full update indicate request as repair request.
Via the Scheduler menu we can indicate a request with full-update mode as Repair Full Request. This request can be updated into every data target even if the data target already contains data from an initialization run or delta for this Data Source/ source system combination, and has overlapping selection criteria.
