  • Where we can find the detail infomation about the Value String of automatic

Where we can find the detail infomation about the Value String of automatic?
such as WE06,WE01 and so on.

    Hai,
Value string keys are for SAP internal usage. It is just a pointer to the transaction event key which is necessary for automatic account determination.
Movement types are linked to transaction keys via valuation string in OMWN T-code.
The R/3 System automatically determines the value string assigned to a specific transaction. It depends partly on entered parameters manually and partly on parameters derived internally by the system. The value string contains all posting transactions that are possible for a certain transaction. The program decides which of these posting transactions lead to G/L account postings in individual cases. You cannot define this in Customizing.
Value string WE01, for the goods receipt for a purchase order into stock, contains transactions BSX and WRX.
WE01: BSX, WRX, PRD, KDM, EIN, EKG, BSV, FRL, FRN, BSX, UMB.
    WA14: BSX ,PRD, BSX, UMB
WA01: BSX, GBB, PRD, BSX, UMB
Value string RE05 contains transactions BSX and UMB.
In the standard system, value string WE01 is assigned to goods receipts (and also cancellations and return deliveries) for Standard and Subcontracting purchase order items without account assignment concerning valuated material into stock. In the case of (valuated) goods receipts for purchase order items not subject to account assignment,
post the items to a stock account using the transaction key BSX and make an offsetting entry to a GR/IR clearing account. A price difference posting (transaction key PRD) is only used if the valuated material is subject to standard price control and if the order price (or invoice price) is different from the standard price. Transaction key KDM is required in Inventory Management for purchase orders in foreign currencies because of differences in exchange rates between goods receipts and invoice receipts, unless the material can not be debited or credited because it is subject to standard price control.
The transaction keys EIN and EKG (and possibly FRE – see account determination for delivery costs) are only used in company codes where purchase account management is active (as required in France and Belgium for example).
The transaction keys BSV, FRL, and FRN are only used for the Subcontracting item category.
Value string WA14 is defined for deliveries without charge (movement type 511).
    The following scenarios are possible:
Delivery without charge for material subject to moving average price control → No accounting document
Delivery without charge for material subject to standard price control (and if the posting date is in the previous period – standard price in the posting period = standard price in the current period) → Inventory posting (receipt at standard price) and offsetting entry to price differences account
Delivery without charge for material subject to standard price control, with posting date in the previous period and the standard price in the posting period is different to the standard price in the current period → Inventory posting (receipt at standard price) and offsetting entry to price differences account (posting in the previous period) → Stock correction posting and Revenue/expense from revaluation (posting in the current period)
In the standard system, value string WA01 is assigned to goods issues and other goods receipts. The R/3 System uses an additional influencing factor, account grouping, to differentiate further between the various movements during account determination.
Hope it will be Helpful 4 u.
    Reward Point if Useful.

  • Can anyone please tell me some basic infomation about Master data?

Can anyone please tell me some basic infomation about Master data like
    1)The history of master data
    2) Why it is so critical
    3) What the advantages of it
    4) What is the future of master data
Any inputs in this regard will be very helpful
    Thanks in advance

    Hi Gowri,
Master data is backbone of any business software. It helps us to do transaction.
If you go to any ATM and do some transaction, you get a monthly statement. This monthly statement contains your address details and your transaction details.
So your address details and your account is like master data which is not changed so frequently but your transactions keep on happening on regular basis on your account and name.So your name and account are your master data which is set up once and donot change so frequently.
Similary if you create a Purchase order in SAP system. You need Material master and vendor master. The material master contains material details and vendor master contains vendor details and using that you create PO which is a transactional data which keep on happening for a particular vendor & material combination on regular basis.
So we set up master data once and make changes to these only when needed and record transaction against that.
So in first case your banking details which you enter while opening account is your master data and in next case Material Master and vendor master is master data which set up mostly once.
There are  three types of data in SAP system
    1. Organizational level data (ICICI Bank and Branch)
    2. Master data (Your User data while opening account)
    3. Transactional data (Your Regular transaction).
I hope ,you are clear on this by now.
There is a SAP software in Netweaver Stack now called MDM (Master data management) which will help to manage master data.
    regards,Nishant
Please reward points if this helps.

  • About SCJP!

    Hey Bros,
    I have a good programming background(C#.Net and VB.Net)
Frankly, I'm kindda bored of Microsoft stuff, So I'm Planning on SCJD.
Of Course, we all know that you should have a SCJP first, So I have two ways to accomplish that :
1-Self-Learning: depending On my previous experience in programming, and most at my ex in C#, I can go through Java and learn what makes me qualified for a SCJP exam or,
2-Training Center: I go to one of those, take the essential training of SCJP,
and spend a lot of money(Which is Something that I don't prefer!)
Plus that these kind of courses contain some materials that became basics to me ..
Here's the Java Diploma tracks from the training center I went:
    -Java Programming Language basics
    -Advanced Object Oriented Programming
    -Building Java Applications
    -Developing Graphical User Interfaces
    -Advanced Java Programming
    So The questions are :
    -Which Way to Choose?
and If I Choose the self-learning way..
-When Can I tell that I'm Qualified for popping into a SCJP certification exam ??
    Thanks In Advance!

There is no need for an overpriced training center to do the SCJP. What you need is to get a good text, look for something by by Kathy Sierra and Bert Bates that is appropriate for the cert you want to do. Do all the exercises and any Mock Exams in the book.
Go to www.javaranch.com (K&B's website) and another Java Forum. they have extensive coverage of all certification topics, with a forum per exam and lots of activity. they can recommend plenty of further mock tests.
You are ready when you can get a nearly perfect score on the mock tests.
And there is absolutely no need to pay money to some scumbag organization that claims a 150% pass rate to get mock tests.

  • Question about SCJP

I'm going to take the SCJP 2 exam,
anybody please tell me how to prepare this.

Posting in this forum after asking for previous test questions in the Java Programming forum yesterday? At least you didn't ask for test questions again!
JavaRanch is a good place to start off. But don't schedule your test before having prepared for it -- it isn't a test you can just cram for. Buy a good book or two, once you learn the material then go play with the practice exams.

  • Infomation about my number into Iphone

In my iphone 3g when I go in settings/phone I see above, the word My number with a wrong phone number different from the one I use, how can I modify this number?
    thanks
    PQ

It's displaying the phone number written to the SIM card - the only way to change that is to change it on the SIM card. Note that this cannot be done on the iPhone (but can be done by the carrier, or by inserting your iPhone SIM card into another type of mobile phone that can write to the SIM card).

  • Info about configuring queuespace?s size in Tuxedo 6.5

    Hi
I am looking for infomation about how I can calculate the size of a Tuxedo/Q
queuespace. What are the parameters that I have to analyze in order to make a
    good "setting"?
    Merci

    Well,
    What about:
    SUM(i = 0; i = n){QUEUE(i) size}
    where
    QUEUE(i) size
is the size of a particular queue in your queue space.
Now I hear you say: "But what's then a good size for a queue?" (a GOOD question)
    That depends on:
    - the number of messages enqueued per unit of time
    - the average size of the messages
    - the amount of spare capacity you want to have (how long before the queue gets
filled up completely if no messages are being read from it)
The bottom line is: you have to think about it and maybe ask users what would
be acceptable for them. If a Service Level Agreement requires that messages can
be stored for 2 days then you'd better make sure that you can handle it.
    Example:
    - 100,000 messages/day
    - average message size 2 kb
    - must be able to handle 12 hours of messaging before queue is completely filled
    up
    Then the queue size is 100,000 * 12/24 * 2kb = 100,000 kb = 100 Mb.
Add another 30% engineering margin and you will need 130 Mb for this queue.
Admitted: this is a very rough calculation.
    Remarks:
    - disk space is relatively cheap
    - the size of the individual queues determines the size of the queue space you'll
    need
    - you don't want to administer the queues on a daily basis if they appear too
small (time and again if you're a real Scrooge)
    - really big queue spaces may take some time to be initialised by TUXEDO, but
    that's only at creation time
Bottom line: use your common sense.

  • Weird problem about FM 'CRM_ORDER_MAINTAIN'

    Hello ,all:
I try to modify some infomation about a sales order using FM  'CRM_ORDER_MAINTAIN'.But how strange, for instance,it can be successful for the first time in the morning (a.m)and the FM executes a long time  ,then modified infomation is ok.
And modify again using FM in succession,it will fail. However,in the afternoon(p.m),execute it again and will be successful. So, i think may be  after a big interval, modify will successful.
I don't know why and how to using the FM and look forward to your greate help.
    Thanks.

    Hi,
You need to use FM 'BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT' or 'CRM_ORDER_SAVE' after executing FM 'CRM_ORDER_MAINTAIN' so that your changes are not in buffer but are relected down till the Database and you can see it next time you open your transaction.

  • Question about Tax at Apple Store Online

Hello, sorry if this thread is in the wrong place, please direct me to the right part of the forum, since I do not know where this topic should go.
I'm a prospective switcher planning to get a 20' intel iMac very soon; I just have a small question about perchasing from Canadian online Apple store, since I can save most from my student discount:
When I view the price in the checkout process, why is it that the estimated tax is always $0.00, even if I use the regular store intead fo the educational one? I had correct infomation about my shipping location (Toronto, Ontario), will the regular tax be applied (which is 15% here) or is there something wrong there?
    Thanks

I checked my orders from the Apple Store (Canada) and the documentation prior to shipment says "Please note that your order subtotal does not include applicable sales tax or rebates. Sales tax, if applicable, will be added when your order is processed."
After they ship, they email an invoice that includes the tax and shipping, if applicable.
    Hope this helps.
(And yes, you'll be charged the tax.)

i think these still need to be awnseredno, both are explained at the appropriate time (meaning before you actually start the exam) ;)
    But here's the short:
    yes, you can go back.
no, you're not allowed to bring anything into the exam room. You will be provided with a pen or pencil and a supply of paper, which you will NOT be allowed to take out of the exam room.
