Infoobject 0record is missing in infosource!!

Hai,
While loading data into ODS, I am getting the following message "Infoobject 0record is missing in infosource!!".
Where can I enter "0record"? Please do not say in the communication structure.
Where can I enter "0 record mode"? I am searching in the "Infosource screen " of tab "Datasource/Trans.strcuture". I donot know where to enter "0record".

I found one solution for 0record mode.
Just simply enter '0Recordmode' in the Infosource screen of tab 'Datasource/Trans.structure'.
example
Infobject
SRPID
PQTY
SALES
0RECORDMODE
Once you enter like this, you will not get this message. This way I solve the problem.

Hi, I'm trying to create update rules for an ODS where the data source is an infocube. I made the infocube a data source. Then, I right-clicked the ODS and chose Create Update Rules. I selected the InfoCube radio button and inserted the infocube name. When I try to go to the next screen, I get a message saying "InfoObject 0recordmode is missing from the InfoSource." I read some forums that said it's just a message and you can go on without it. But I can't seem to get past this message. Does anyone know how?

Created Z ODS for flatfile loads,The load is full load.
Tried to create update rules for the ods but when i assigned the data source and clicked next button it is showing

The kind infoobject does not exist in the CMS

hi, all of a sudden, when i import a new biar file to the server, i got the below error message:
the kind infoobject does not exist in the CMS
the server worked fine before. and then i imported the biar to another server, it works fine, and seems not the biar problem.
then i found some error explanation

Error while trying to Change an Infosource

I get the following error while trying to change an Infosource. I am not able to get to the change screen and it displays the following message 'Infoobject MPVPOPR not available in the Active Version'.
I did the following to try and debug the issue...but with no luck..
1) I checked for the Infoobject MPVPOPR and did not find it anywhere (Metadata, Transport Connection, Infobjects)
2) I am able to load the data using an infopackage into the ODS.
3) Communication structure and all is Active...
I just cannot get to the Change Screen for this Infosource and it displays the error 'Inobject MPVPOPR not available in the Active Version'.
Please provide any Suggestions

For the confirmation whether your infosource contains MPVPOPR or not.
Just goto RSA1 > InfoObjects > search MPVPOPR > double click on found > there is an option "Where used" , just click and check whether your infoobject is present in the infosource or not.

Short dump error with InfoSource

Hi All,
When i try to open Accounts Payable Infosource in BW production, It is returning with the short dump error ' Assertion was violated'.
R_AWBOBJ ->. may I know what is this error.
I created generic datasource in ECC DEV and replicated into BW DEV system, After that I created necessary infoobjects, infosource, transformations, ODS, DTP, InfoPackage and loaded data into it under Accounte Payable in BW DEV. Everything was fine, So I released every object into production successfully.
I asked our network guy to move them into production, When he try to move them they are returning with the errors. Which doesn't happen before. Is this anything effected with the existed AP infosource in production as i explained above error? But still these are not moved into production.I released generic datasource from ECC DEV to ECC PRD.
Data loading was stopped for Line Items DSO under Accounts Payable, Because of these process chains were failed.
Please let me know where i did wrong or what steps i have to follow further. We are on BI7.0 systems.
We recently installed our BI systems.
Please help me anyone ASAP, I appreciated any help.

If I can understand properly the infosource is the generated object from DSO begnining with 8*? updating AP DSO?
Or it is the self created infsource updating the AP DSO??
What I can understand is you already had a flow in production which was working fine.
Then you did some development inculding a new DSO...this new DSO contained some infoobject fields common with the already live AP DSO in production.
new DSO transport failed in production and becasue of which the data loads to the old AP DSO in production has stopped.
The issue could be that since the transport failed... these infoobjects are into incosistent state.
check these common infoobjects in prodution first.
All I can suggest is transport the DSO again production for AP DSO so that its in consistent state along with the infoobjects.
The infoobjects must be consistent for the DSO, generated data source and infosource to work properly.
Eeen if the infosource is generated one( 8*XXXXXX) transport the respective DSO again in production along with required infoobjects.
Transport the cutomized infosource as well if created.

Activated infoObjects does is not visible in AWB

Hello,
I working with a brand new BW system. First this to do was to activate a lot of business contents.
The activation process went OK, but none of the activated InfoObjects are visible in Administrator Workbench under MODELING -> INFOOBJECTS.
Only Inforobject catalogs are visible.
If I open a cube I can see the infoObjects and they have the status: Activated.
My 'Select display option' in AWB is set to 'Display all'.
Has anybody an idea why?

Thank you for your answer.
It is not just one infoobject I'm missing. It's all of them.
I activated cube 0SD_C02, 0SD_C03 and 0SD_C05 and all of the related objects.
In RSD1 I can find all the infoobjects used in the 3 cubes, but in AWB/modelling/infoobjects none of them are visible. They are not under "unassigned notes" and they are not under the infoarea catalog and they can not be found by using search.
But in RSD1 they can be found and they have status activated

Additional objects in transport data/infosource

Hi,
I added some extra InfoObjects in my export data/infosource because i want them to be in the comm structure for my data mart. In this way all the objects are available in my datapackage a can i use it in my startroutine.
Normally when performing an export datasource the extra objects are overwritten with the (standard) infoprovider objects.
I'm lookin' for a note which sets the parameters to keep the extra InfoObjects in my export datasource when doing an export datasource.

There is even a better solution. You can append the structure of your communication structure with your extra fields. Even if you change your sending info-cube the appended fields will be available in your start-routine. On our web-site I have an example. The hyperlink is:

Generate the datasource automatically for infoobjects in BW 7.0

Dear Experts,
I would like to upload master data into an infoobject in BW 7.0. The problem is that the datasource won`t be generated by the system automatically like in BW 3.5. Shall I do it always manually or is it a way to let the system do it automatically?

yes, but I do not see the datasource between any kind of datasources.. The only way I can load master data and text into an infoobject is to make an infosource 3.x (I am in BW 7.0), then right click on attr or text->additional functions->create transfer rules. Then the source system has to be set and the datasources (attr, text) are generated automatically.
After that when I want to create a 7.0 transformation between DS and IO I could use this generated datasource v3.5, but how can I replicate a datasource v7.0, where can I find that for the infoobjects exactly?

Error when charging hierarchy for infoObject hieracky for 0MATERIAL from infosource 0MATERIAL_LKLS_HIER.
I have an issue when performing a charge of the material hierarchy for the 0MATERIAL InfoObject. The problem is that maybe there are some referential problem. I show you 2 images about that.

For this you can enter the screen of infoobject change and select the hierarchy tab at the bottom theres a button External Characteristic in Hierarchy ....there you can set other infoobjects that can be part of the hierarchy of your infoobject...
This is the procedure but you only can add infoobjects that attributes of the principal infoobject ....

i am new to BI 7.0 , while creating update rules for datastore object , i have given the infosource name, and tried to activate it, then i got the error,
ERROR: infoobject 0recordmode is missing from the infosourse

Hi,
Add 0recordmode info object to your info source and again try to create DTP, 0recordmode is requried in DSO to keep data with history.(like before image,after image,etc), by adding this you dont have any problem, at the time of creating info source itself system will prompt you that this info object is missing do you want to add here say yes.

Cause and prerequisites
The technical InfoObject 0RECORDMODE is missing in the InfoSource.
Solution
1. Field 0RECORDMODE is needed for the delta load and is added by the system if a DataSource is delta-capable. In the ODS object the field is generated during the creation process.
2. Note 333492 was created to ensure upward compatibility for those customers already using 0STORNO. This works as planned and is correct; field ROCANCEL must then be mapped to both InfoObjects.
3. Field 0RECORDMODE is needed for the delta load and must also be included for the update in ODS in the case of user-defined InfoSources. In the ODS transfer structure, field 0RECORDMODE is generated automatically during the creation process.
4. Message RSAU128 'InfoObject 0recordmode missing from the InfoSource' is an information message, you can activate the update rules even without 0RECORDMODE. The field is required for the delta method of InfoSources with connected DataSources from an SAP R/3 system. For FlatFile DataSources or external DataSources InfoObject 0RECORDMODE does not need to be contained in the transfer structure of the InfoSource, or it does not need to be filled separately in the transfer rules. In the transfer rules when maintaining the transfer structure, the delta method for flat files or external DataSources is determined by field Update mode. In InfoSources that get their data exclusively from flat files or external systems, 0RECORDMODE does not need to be contained in the communication structure. Then you can ignore the above-mentioned message when creation update rules.

Your infosource should have the infoobject 0RECORDMODE, it is mandatory infoobject, if you are creating an update rule from the infosource. This infoobject will give you before after image. So Solution is you can include the the 0recordmode directly in the communication structure of the infosource and leave it umapped, and then create and update rule with it.

Customizing an Extractor

We created our datasource in R/3 and we created an extractor. All went fine.
In BW we replicated the DataSources and we were able to see the new datasource.
Then we created an InfoSource pointing at our new datasource and an ODS. The problem is that when we tried to create the update rule for the ODS the following messagge appeared:
"InfoObject 0recordmode is missing from the InfoSource"
We went in the infosource and we try to add that infoobject but we do not know how to manage it.
In the standard structures (Warranty Claim Header/Item) that infoobj is not managed.
