InfoObject Z_C_NO is not assigned to an InfoArea

hello expert,
I am trying to load master data attribute through data source but when I do the transformation using info object it shows me error that "InfoObject Z_C_NO is not assigned to an InfoArea".
I have refer this pdf http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/1049343f-45bf-2e10-a78f-cc60acda867a?overridelayout=t…
and using this I am trying to load but it shows me error that I mentioned above.
And also give me another ways to load master data attribute as well as text also.
so please help me to solve it...

BB,
It is odd that the objects are not assigned to any infoarea.  I don't really understand what steps you took to put yourself into this position.  Well, no matter.
Normally when you create a project, you also create a new infoarea in which to store all of the objects that will be used in your project.  This makes it easer to locate them later on.  Objects that are not specifically assigned to an infoarea are normally found in the "Unassigned Nodes" infoarea.  I have never tried to manually assign an object to this infoarea, though, I normally find the objects already there, and assign them to my custom infoarea.

  • How to build an URL to filter a variable with the # (Not Assigned) as value

    Hello Gurus,
We need to build the URL that is calling a query with a filter value = #.
We need to query only those records that have "Not Assigned" in a particular Infoobject.
Example of our URL: that is not working
    http://ustwa427.xxx.com:8000/sap(bD1lbiZjPTQwMA==)/bc/bsp/sap/zlabw_tempos/main.htm?INFOCUBE=CRMLORSLM&QUERY=ZCRMLORSEL_SELLOUTMT_Q006&VAR_NAME_1=L_TOSALE&VAR_NAME_2=ZLOBWCTY&VAR_NAME_8=0S_MAT&VAR_NAME_9=0S_MAT&VAR_OPERATOR_2=EQ&VAR_OPERATOR_8=EQ&VAR_OPERATOR_9=EQ&VAR_SIGN_2=I&VAR_SIGN_8=I&VAR_SIGN_9=I&VAR_VALUE_EXT_1=3&VAR_VALUE_LOW_EXT_8=000000000030002200&VAR_VALUE_LOW_EXT_9=#&VAR_VALUE_LOW_EXT_2=CR
You can see in VAR_VALUE_LOW_EXT_9 that we are asking for the Not Assigned values with #.
    Any suggestions?

  • Display attribute incorrectly reported as "not assigned" in BEX Analyser

    Hi SCN
I have a simple BEX query on a master data infoobject which displays the object key and several display attributes.  One of the attributes is often reported incorrectly as "not assigned" although the behaviour is erratic and can sometimes be correct from day to day.  I have checked the master data table and there should be a value ... when I run the report in RSRT, the attribute is correctly reported !
I have checked the infoobject in RSRV for errors (all lights are green), deleted the cache and set the report to not use caching in RSRT but the attribute is still frequently "not assigned"
all very weird ... any thoughts ?
    regards
    Ian

    Hi Ram
no error as such, the report displays the attribute as "not assigned" ... this image shows the query and the RSRT output

  • To display detals of not assigned Costelements in Query

    Dear All,
I need to create a query on not assigned costelement hierarchy and broadcast the output through E-mail.
The query I created, displays the not assigned costelements under a separate node (filtered in query as #) but the problem is that the not assigned cost elements appear as u201C#u201D.
I want to get the details of these not assigned cost elements i.e. the query should display which cost elements are not assigned in the hierarchy. I couldnu2019t find the node REST_H (which I believe is created automatically for not assigned elements) in my hierarchy. How do I display the not assigned costelements in my query ?
One way I could think of is to compare the master data table and the hierarchy table of the InfoObject 0Costelement. The entries which are present in the master data table but not in the hierarchy tables are the unassigned costelements I am looking for.
Any standard way or a much simpler way of achieving this ?
    Regards
    Shalabh Jain

    Hi Stefan,
    Thanks for the efforts.
But the option "Suppress 'Unassigned' Node" is used to either display not-assigned node or not.
But my requirement is to mandatorily display not-assigned node with the "DETAILS" of not-assigned costelements. I believe that by default the not-assigned costelement appears as # in the query. I want the details...i.e. which costelements are not-assigned.

Can anybody explain me clearly the meaning of the error.

    Hi,
Check whether the value has maintained in the SID table for the info object YEKEYBRND thru BIC/SYEKETBRAND..
if it exixts the u have to repair ur infoobject in the RSRV.
    Check the link..

  • InfoObject 0DOC_NUMBER does not fulfill ref. integrity in record

    Hi
    I am getting this error
InfoObject 0DOC_NUMBER does not fulfill ref. integrity in record
Please help me resolve this issue.
    Thanks,
    Amit

    Hi Amit,
I think in the infopackage u will have setting load data eventhough no master data exist. This will help u to fix the data load.During Transaction data  loading usefully the Referential will be checked if u have enabled the option in infopackage.
U have Two Solution to this issue :
one to load the master data before transaction data
another one u can set in infopackage load data eventhogh no master data Exist in the infopackage.
Assign points if this is useful

  • WEBI prompt based on bex variable suppress not assigned hashtag value in LOV

    Hi,
is it possible to suppress the "Not assigned (#)" value from the list of values in a webi prompt based on a bex variable?
This "Not assigned" value is something BW specific, BW adds this to each characteristic automatically?!
    WEBI:
    RSRT:
It needs to work in WEBI, not only in RSRT, and the filtering of data still needs to work.
For rsrt it works, when you exclude the not assigned value in "Filter > Characteristic Restrictions" and use the bex variable in/through "Filter > Default Values", but this does not work in WEBI, because the BEX Query Data is not filtered on the in the prompt selected value.
    Thanks.
    Regards
    David

Thanks David for a quick reply !
I could manage to avoid # values in WebI prompt using BAdI implementation, here is the brief:
    Problem:
WebI report prompt (which shows BEx variable) list of values shows blanks or # . Rrequirement was to avoid these blanks or #
    Environment:
    BW 7.3
    BO 4.0
BW Cube > BEx Query > OLAP Connection > WebI report
    Solution:
InfoObject Level1 in BW had # values in masterdata, this could not be deleted since it was in use with other Cubes.
Vaurable Var_Level1 displays # when pressed F4 running BEx query and in list of values in WebI report prompt.
I implemented BAdI on Level1 info object and variable Var_Level1.
Steps to implement BAdI are as in following link
BEx Query - Control the values which are shown on F4
Used following code to elimitate #.
    METHOD IF_RSR_VARIABLE_F4_RESTRICT~GET_RESTRICTION_FLAT.
DATA: l_s_range     LIKE LINE OF c_t_range.
DATA: l_var_range   LIKE LINE OF i_t_var_range.
DATA: IT_MZLEVELS TYPE TABLE OF /BIC/MZLEVELS,
    WA_MZLEVELS LIKE LINE OF IT_MZLEVELS.
    DATA: L_ZLEVEL1     TYPE /BIC/OIZEVEL1.
      IF i_vnam EQ 'ZV_LEVEL1'.
    SELECT /BIC/ZLEVEL1
    FROM /BIC/MZLEVELS
INTO CORRESPONDING FIELDS OF TABLE IT_MZLEVELS
    WHERE OBJVERS       = 'A'.
    IF SY-SUBRC NE 0.
    EXIT.
    ENDIF.
    SORT IT_MZLEVELS BY /BIC/ZLEVEL1.
DELETE ADJACENT DUPLICATES FROM IT_MZLEVELS COMPARING /BIC/ZCLV1GP.
    DELETE IT_MZLEVELS WHERE /BIC/ZLEVEL1 = ''.
    l_s_range-iobjnm = i_iobjnm.
    l_s_range-sign   = 'I'.
    l_s_range-option = 'EQ'.
    LOOP AT IT_MZLEVELS INTO WA_MZLEVELS.
    l_s_range-low    =  WA_MZLEVELS-/BIC/ZLEVEL1.
    APPEND l_s_range TO c_t_range.
    ENDLOOP.
    ENDIF.
    ENDMETHOD.

    Hi,
But I believe this setting "Suppress Unassigned nodes" is used to show or hide the unassigned node in the query. It has nothing to do with the display of # value or the actual unassigned costelements.
I want to get the "DETAILS" of the unassigned costelements which are appearing as # in the query.

  • Navigational attribute: "not assigned"

    Hi all,
I have a strange situation where I have a characteristic (0NOTIFICATN) in a cube (0QM_C10), where the (navigational) attributes of 0NOTICATN show up as "# not assigned" when I try to report on them.
I have checked under master data maintanence for 0NOTIFICATN that for all notification the attributes have the value I expect.
The attribute I am most interesed in is notification type (0NOT_TYPE), and I have found out that if I add the infoobj 0NOT_TYPE to the cube I can report on it. That means that instead of getting the notification type as an navigational attribute on notification I have to add it to the cube...
(The same argument holds for several other infoobjects and several cubes.)
Am I missing something obvious here?

Thank you. That solved the problem.
That is, it works in other cubes, that had the same problem, but it does not work with the cube 0QM_C10 that I have modified several times during my debugging...
I get the error, that the infoobject 0NOTIFICATN__0NOT_TYPE does not exist. I have checked that 0NOTIFICATN is in the cube and that it is a navigational attribute....

    Christian

I have checked with ISP, there response is like below:
Those are the NNI to GBNET IPs for Dominican Republic. They are Network IPs. You should be able to ping them-that means they are working.

Here its shows from any of our MPLS site we are able to trace the IP and it seems like, 192.168.20.204/30 is one more site but in actual its not.

  • Reporting Issue   "Opening Balance values are going to Not Assigned Values"

    Hi Friends,
Closing Balance values are perfectly showing but opening balance values are going to Not Assingned Values? I am not able to find it out.
our query is built on PCA Daily Multiprovider.
    Pls Help.
    Thanks
    Asim

    Hi Ravish,
    Here are the details
Stock values and quantities in the PCA cube of BW never show correctly at an article level due to an opening balance issue.  This reduces our ability to report on stocks at moving average price, i.e. anything that actually matches the financial values in the system. The issue arises because stock at the beginning of the year (quantity and value) for any site is only shown against an article of "Not assigned."  Stock movements during the year are shown against the appropriate article.(If you have a new site, the will have stock assigned against an article up until 31 December and then the 31 December values are shown against "not assigned" for the next year).
    Thanks
    Asim

  • Showing as not assigned

    Hi All,
In the bex analyzer report, I am seeing values as NOT ASSIGNED and #  in text and key columns when there is no data.
I want to see them as blank instead of them,
Can anyone tell where can I make that setting or change.
    Thanks In advance!

    Hi Pallavi,
I think you can find some VB macro code posted here that will help you to do this...there is no option set in the query designer to blank out the records.
    Hope this helps...
