Infoobjects are not translated in Language trnslations

Hi Experts
I am facing a issue for language translations. When I am trying to translate for infoobjects i am getting error that the " No text found in source language enus" . I verified there is both short and long texts are available. I am not able to find why i am getting this error. So give me ur inputs to understand and solve my issue.

Have you created that Infoobjects under a specific Catalog.If it is true try to find that catalog and you can find the Infoobjects there. If it is not true they will be under Unassigned nodes. Otherwise refresh your transaction once and try to find the Infoobject with find option.

We removed some Attributes to one characteristic and transported into QA.
The removed attributes are not getting in BEx query designer in Dev, But we are getting those removed attributes in the context menu of that particular Char in BEx Designer in QA.
We checked in the Characteristic level, those removed Attributes are not there in Info object level but still those Attributes are displaying in BEx designer level in QA.
And info object showing as gray color even though we activated the info object, We think this may be the cause to not reflect the changes to BEx Designer level.
Can any one suggest us to resolve the issue.

Hi Raju
Go to transation RSRT enter one of the reports and click to Generate Report. If this solves your problem then you can go to Environment\generate queries directly to regenerate the impacted queries.

Newly Created Infoobjects are not displaying in the RSA1

Dear Experts,
When ever i am trying to create a new Info Object Characterstic/Keyfigure, i am able to create and activate it sucess fully, but when i am trying to see the same in corresponding infoobjects catelog in RSA1 that object is not displaying there.
When i am trying to find the same using "FIND' Option it is returing 'No Entries' as result even though i am sure that obj is created.
Please help me in this context.

Changes to Provider-specific Texts for Infoobjects are not updated

Hi,
We have some existing queries on one of our Multiproviders. We changed the description of one of the Info-objects on the Multiprovider using PROVIDER_SPECIFIC PROPERTIES. This changed description is not updated into the existing queries. The existing queries still show the old description for the info-object.
any ideas!!.

Hi Pravendar, Thanks for your response. we are using an older version of BEx Analyzer with 7.0, which does not have the check box you have mentioned. So, I am thinking this is not going help us much.

Unit of measurements are not translatet in SP05 ?

I try to use unit of measurements. It works fine - but I found out - the uom are not translated into other languages. If I logon with data manager with german language into the repo the measurements in the uom-fields appear in english only.
Where we can translate the most important uom´s for our cases ? I could not found anything about that into the console ?

IV'ehad a look at the UoM Manager (available with MDM's feature pack). Unfortunately units are not yet multi-lingual in MDM...

Transaction starting with Y_DEV are showing in German language even though

Hi,
When we are login into SAP with French language, then all the transaction starting with Y_DEV are showing in German language i.e the initial screen and when we execute(F8) any transaction starts with Y_DEV, the output is coming in French language.
Why in the initial screen, it is reflecting in German language even though the login is made with French language.

Y_DEV* are user-developed reports. Could be that the selection parameters are not translated to French or maybe they just have to be re-generated (it happens sometimes in SAP). Use GR52 to regenerate the group of these reports.

Mathscript all matlab functions are not working

Hello,
I am using mathscript node in my labview development. I have used right away "imfill" function to fill the holes in my edge detected image. But the "imfill" function is not working in mathscript.
How could I use this function in mathscript?

Did you take this code directly from MATLAB and put it in the MathScript node? (I'm guessing the imfill function is a MATLAB function?)
If so, you're going to be sorely dissapointed. While MATLAB and the MathScript node both use .m files, they are not the same language. The language is very similar, but the syntax differs slightly in some cases. My guess (since I've used MATLAB but never the imfill function) is that the imfill function is part of a toolkit for MATLAB. Unless the MathScript node has a corresponding function (you'd have to search the help to see) you will not be able to use this function in the MathScript node.
If the MathScript node has no corresponding function and you must use this function in LabVIEW, I would reccommend the MATLAB Script Node. This structure actually calls MATLAB through the ActiveX interface. This means that you must have MATLAB installed on the computer you are running your VI on.

Custom refiners not translated on Search Page

Hi,
I have created a product catalog site.
On the category page i have added some custom refiners, all using the excelent tutorial:

All of this works fine... the refiners are translated in the category page of the product catalog.
I have created my own search page and i have added the same refiners to it. The refiners themselves work fine but they are not translated.
I'm wondering why they are translated on the category page, but not on the search page?

Ok... i figured it out.
Turns out, you need to use the "Display Name" for each refiner defined on the refiners web part.
Still is bizarre that the translation doesn't work in this case.

SMARTFORMS language translations are not stored

Experts,
I am trying to translate a SMARTFORM from Language EN to Languages ES, PT & DE.
After maintaining translations using SE63 when I check the output it is giving the correct output with language translations but after changing the english version again, when I tried to give the output in language ES, PT & DE all my translations are gone. I dont know the reason why it happened, even I have created the transport using the program 'RS_LXE_RECORD_TORDER' as well.
Again I did the same thing second time i .e. translated the texts in different languages and again changed the form in language EN (base language) and activated it and after this, again I have tried to give the output in languages ES, PT and DE, again the same all my translations are gone and displaying only in English language.
Kindly give some ideas so that this problem get resolved.

Allotted points for your advice, but actually before asking this question I already searched in the forums and found the same program, but I thought that since my language translations are not getting stored, I may be using wrong program for the transport to be generated.

I’m not sure what you mean by not saved, but if you expect to copy a current translated page into a new page, and inherent the translation in the new page, the answer is NO, it’s not saved.
Adding a new page to your application, even by copying an existing page, is a major change in your primary language application, which create multiple new independent elements in your application (after the page has been copied, there isn’t any link between it and the original page). You need to re-seed the primary application, export a new XLIFF file, and translate the new <trans-unit> that were added to it.

Language & Text changes are not saved

I'm trying to change the default language on my MacBook. I dragged the target language to the top of the list in Language & Text, closed System Preferences, and logged out. When I logged back in, English was still the default language and the sort order had not changed in Language & Text. I made the change again, closed System Preferences and reopened it. English was still the default language. The sort order had not changed.
I clicked the "Edit List..." button and deselected all but the two languages. When I closed and reopened System Preferences, all the original languages were displayed.
I can make changes in all the other preference panels and have the changes retained. Just not in Language & Text.

Try clearing your browser cache, and then take another look. The changes are most likely there.

Above statement is correct: contact Portal Team to debug the iView/application.
But you need to also check with your IT team - because it might be the case that the proper browser setting/network setting is figured to be EN (English - assuming).
To test, you yourself can verify if it's the case, change the browser language to Portuguese and test the application. If it gets translated to Portuguese, then that means it's the browser/network/ISP setting/configuration.

Reg:special characters are not priniting while selecting the CS language

When I am trying to print in CS language some special characters are not printing.
Even when I was trying to create the entries in TTDGT table ,these special characters are not created
( příkazu) here r & i are the special characters. instead of special characters simply r and i were created .

I think you are working on scripts and trying to create the Script in different language?
However, try to copy the text in CS and paste it in STandard Text. If it is not displaying properly then Try to log in to the same language and try to paste that Text in the STanard text So10. If it appears properly then your issue is fixed.
Please let me know if the issue is while printing the Script form, i mean are you able to view it properly in the Print preview...?
If this is the issue then it is not an issue at your end user needs to check whether his printer is supporting their langauge or not.
Also check with the related language package . for ex I had worked on the Script form and tried to convert it into chinese i faced the same issue so when i checked with the System Admin he installed Asian Langauge Package in my system. After that I was able to convert the script into Chinese properly.
