Infopackage Language Selection

Hello
We have a number of infoobjects that have the langauge field in the datasource with selection ticked on.
Example: 0PROFIT_CTR_TEXT
However in our infopackage the language characteristic is not available as a selection.

look in OSS Note 324684 'Selections for language and time-dependence'...
"If a field of a DataSource - typically with field name 'LANGU' or 'SPRAS' - is assigned to InfoObject '0langu', the field is not provided in the selection fields although the field actually can be selected. In this case, all languages of the language vector active in the BW System are requested by the source system but the language selection cannot be defined in the Scheduler.
A precondition is that the language field of the DataSource in the source system is maintained as selection field. This setting is done in Transaction RSA6 (or RSO2 for customer developments)."

If ur loading data to time dependent object , again for that those are maintained on time dependent basis(in ECC) then ucan assign those fields also
when in info object level u select the time dependent tab(it will be there in Attribute tab) then info object level also u can get the to data from date.
as per the present requirement need not required just leave it with selection language u can load the data,

Why Photoshop CS6 does not include language selection ? dont want it on win8 language, I want in eng

Right now I am installing the programs on my new 64 bits computer , which runs windows 8 in a language which is not english.
At the very beginning of the setup I noticed that it detected the language of sist. op. and that it would install cs6 in such language.
I am very, very ,very upset with this and I will tell you the reason : the best in terms of literature , pdfs books , tutorials , support forums ,etc is written in ENGLISH !
If I install cs6 I will have all menus , tools and resources in other language and it will be very cumbersome to work with it.
Perhaps with the best of the intention to make people feel comfortable with their own language you have made it this way.
But there are several other guys like me that want it IN ENGLISH.
As a long time user of photoshop I never worked in other language than english and I will never do it.
It looks like it is a new trend to detect the op sistem language , I have had the same problem with Nero Platinum 12 , and others.
Is there a way to install Cs6 in english ?
I have no idea whether adobe developers team read this forum but I will give my suggestion : don´t leave the setup to choose the language , this is dictartoship , be democratic and bring back the language selection menu.

The setup choice only defines the language for the EULA.
You download the version for whichever language you want the app to be in.

Can't get past language selection with Leopard Install disk

My 1 year old Intel Mac Mini, which had been running 10.5.4 without problems suddenly froze up. The mouse was still active but I couldn't click anything. I turned the system off with the power button. When I restarted it got as far as the login screen, but clicking the user didn't do anything. I was able to log in using safe mode (hold down shift when starting). I ran the disc utility, repaired permissions and verified the disc. Seemed OK, but still the same behavior (freeze at login screen) when I try to boot normally.
I tried booting from the Leopard install disk. When it reached the language selection page there were some strange-looking horizontal lines in the display. Clicking the "proceed" button caused a copy of the button's graphic to appear at the top of the page and nothing else happened. Very puzzling, since I had upgraded OS X using that same disc.
I have a Superduper backup from a couple of weeks ago. It won't boot up normally either. Any ideas? Unfortunately, I'm 2 weeks out of warranty!

I would probably start looking at the ram to see if it's worked loose or a board has gone bad (rare, but it happens).
Make sure no external drives or other unnecessary connections.
If the ram doesn't fix the problem, then you could also Zap the PRAM by holding down the Command + Option + P + R keys during boot up. Hold down the keys until the Mac goes through 3 startup chimes, then just release the keys and continue to boot normally. Check your clock settings if it boots.

Shut down your computer and disconnect all peripherals (keyboard & mouse if pertinent) from your computer. Now reboot.
If the Mac starts up normally, shut it down again and then plug in one of the peripherals (keyboard or mouse first) and start up your computer again. If it does so successfully repeat the process, adding one peripheral at a time until your Mac acts up. At that point, disconnect the last peripheral you added, reboot your Mac and search the peripheral vendor's website for an updated driver.
If no driver exists or the problem remain after installing the new driver, try a different cable or a different port on your Mac.
If none of the above works, again disconnect all peripherals from your Mac, hold down the "shift" key to start up in "Safe Boot" mode.
If the Mac starts up correctly, restart without pressing the "shift" key.
If your computer still does not start up properly, shut it down and restart it while holding down the Apple+Option-P-R keys; keep holding "all 4 keys" down until you hear the startup sound "twice."
If none of the above work Disconnect all peripherals from your computer. Boot from your install disc & run Repair Disk from the utility menu. To use the Install Mac OS X disc, insert the disc, and restart your computer while holding down the C key as it starts up.
Select your language.
Once on the desktop, select Utility in the menu bar.
Select Disk Utility.
Select the disk or volume in the list of disks and volumes, and then click First Aid.
Click Repair Disk.
(If Disk Utility cannot repair, you will need a stronger utility (3rd party) - Diskwarrior or Techtool PRO)
Restart your computer when done.
Repair permissions after you reach the desktop-http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=25751 and restart your computer.
Remove any 3rd party ram.
Reinstall Leopard - This will install a "fresh" copy Leopard without archiving old system files but leaves the rest of your files in place.
If you still want to restore your computer to factory level...
Start up from your install disc, go to Disk Utility and select the disk and click erase - to securely erase data click Security Options and Erase Free Space which will entirely wipe your disk, overwriting it with zeros so that no data is recoverable.

Routine in Infopackage data selection doesnt give appropriate results...

Hi Gurus,
I need to pull data into PSA (BW 3.5) based on a certain selections in the Infopackage. Selection is based on specific values of Infoobject 0PLANT , however, as these values are multiple and do not fall in a specific range I have written a routine to derive these values.
The routine does the following steps :
- creates an internal table from /bio/mplant and deletes the plant values that I do not wish to consider in the extraction.
- delete data from l_t_range for fieldname = 'PLANT'
- Appends data from the internal table to l_t_range.
However, when I execute the infopackage, the extraction is done for ALL the 0PLANT values i.e it includes the data for 0PLANT value which have been delete from the internal table.
My routine is :

Routine in infopackage for selection

I am writing an ABAP routine in an infopackage to select data upto a certain year. I want to load data for all the years upto 7 years ago. However, if I leave the l_t_range-low blank, the infopackage throws an error when I run it saying invalid date range. What's the right way to assign the low value?
l_year = sy-datum(4) - 4.
l_t_range-sign = 'I'.
l_t_range-option = 'BT'.
l_t_range-low = ''.
l_t_range-high = l_year.
modify l_t_range index l_idx.

Add l_t_range-low = sy-datum(4). Also i see that in l_year you have defined it as sy-datum(4) - 4. So you are only picking latest 4 years. Please change it to 7 if you want the latest 7 yrs.

You can try to create infinite loop:
DATA: STOP.
WHILE STOP IS INITIAL. ENDWHILE.
Start InfoPackage and then go to SM50 and swich on debugging for your process. Then in debugger you can change value of STOP variable to skip the loop.

ABAP Routine in InfoPackage for selection

Hello,
I have 2 InfoPackages for loading from ODS1 to ODS2. InfoPackage 1 is restricted via ABAP Routine to load only certain customer numbers.
InfoPackage 2 is supposed to load all other customer numbers - therefore the ABAP Routine makes ranges that exclude the customer numbers selected in InfoPackage 1.
Now I face the fact that the selection of InfoPackage 2 is much to small in numbers. Problem is, the ranges only work when entered manually - but via ABAP entry these ranges don`t work. I can`t understand why this problem happens. Do you have an idea?
Example (first number is from, 2nd number is to)
InfoPackage 1: customer numbers
5| 5
100|100
999|999
InfoPackage 2: customer numbers
0|4
4|99
101|998
1000|99999
But selection of InfoPackage 2 does not work propberly...

no, that was just a typing mistake. Sorry.
The problem is, that in Monitoring I can see the selection and it looks good.
But when I check the number of datasets selected it is far to small. Therefore I don`t believe the selection works.
I tried manually to put all the ranges selected by ABAP Routine in InfoPackage 2 in another InfoPackage 3 - the selection is identically to InfoPackage 2 (but not made via ABAP, but manually) and in Monitoring the selection looks absolutly alike.
But the manuall InfoPackage 3 selects far more records than InfoPackage 2.
I can`t understand the problem. Can you? Can you give me advice?

Language selection on support site partial impossible

Oh god, who had this idea with the language selection on Support and Download site?
Now i have purchased a wide screen-ThinkPad to reduce the horizontal scrolling but the new support site plays its own game.
If i want to select "United States English" i have no chance to see and select it:

The horizontal scrollbar appears as well as the language list after i clicked on "Germany -- Deutsch" at the top of the page.
The crazy "Feedback"-field in the lower right corner hides several languages to select.
If i move the cursor to the scrollbar the language list disappears. - Great, well done!
Why is it so difficult to use the visible part of the display? On the left hand there is more than the half screen size unused to display the language list!!
Please tell the web-programmer to test on a single - display ThinkPad!!!!! in the future but not with two displays and enlarged desktop or 21:9 display.

Hei. This is not shown on the website, itself. It is like this only in the file manager /public_html/www directory on the server I use. There the downloaded files
have the titles of the pages without these vocals. I´ve send a request to the webhotel company I use and the only answer I´ve got was not to use these vocals.
This can´t be a solution. I had to change the title of the pages on iWeb, like from
interiørdesign to interiordesign, f.ex. but this isn´t the way the word is written in norwegian. I am afraid I am not visible in search enginees (google)in norway (which) is the market I adress, because of this.
I have lounged my site since april 2010 and still I don´t appear in a search even in the 20th page or something.

Netflix Language selection

Ok, I've looked at some of the posts, all great posts. But, none answer my question. I have the Apple TV And I do not have a Apple TV remote control. I use the remote app on my iPad to control the Apple TV.. I'm a huge Anime fan and some are in Japanese with the option to watch in English Dub. It defaults and starts up in Japanese and I don't know how to use my Remote App to select the English versions of the shows I want to watch. Does the remote app have the ability to do language select?

I just got off the phone with Netflix support. Specifically for Iron Man 2 and one of the Transformers movies it's a known issue. There is a temporary fix:
1. Sign in to netflix.ca
2. Change your account settings for video quality to anything except Best/HD.
And that's it. I just tested it myself and it worked. He said you may have to wait an hour for the changes to come into effect, but I just logged out and then logged in to my Apple TV Netflix and it was done.
He also mentioned this is a temporary workaround and they are working on it. Basically when they rent movies for use, they are given a package of different qualities and languages and they accidentally put the French HD in the English HD "slot".

I have one Report Writer Report.
In that Report I have created Basic Sets, Single sets and Multi Sets for G/L Account.
I need to output this Report in two different language.
1) Engish
2) Chinese
But I need to put the option on Selection Screen for Language Selection (whether English or Chinese).
How to add this option on Selection Screen. Please Guide me soon.

But when I hev created the sets, I have given the description of G/L Accounts in English. But when I will run the Report using Cinese as Logon language, how output will come in Chinese.
1) Is there a need to maintain /L Accounts in Chinese language.
2) or Shall i create the sets by giving description for G/L Accounts in Chinese If Yes then how to hadndle at run time..
please guide I am new to Report writer.

Hi, I was told that there is a field for language selection in the business partner master data. But I don't see any.
Does anyone know where it is, if it exists at all?
I'm using B1 2005A SP01 PL39.

Hi,
First you have to enable Multi Language Option in SAP Business One. To do so go to Administration > System Initialization > Company Details > Basic Initialization and tick the box for Multi Language Support.
After that you can see the language option in your Business Partner.

Language selection in itunes

I hope someone can help me!!!!!!! I'm trying to get started with itunes but my itunes store page is in french! I am not french and therefore can't read it. It means I can't set up my account. Does anyone know how I change the language selection- please help!!!!!!1

Go to the bottom of the iTunes Music Store main page (in iTunes) and look for the My Store pulldown. If it's showing "France" and the French flag icon, pull down the menu and change it to your country.

Language-selection-class build problem

my small program is goting to surpport language switching,e.g. Finnish, English,Chinese.
it contains several pages with buttons and text there. in the 1st page we could select the language and then each page will display this language.
how should the language selection class be create, could any1 show me the idea or a sample code somewhere.
I think there should be a standard and simple way to make it. Thanks!
