Infopackage missing

Hello ,
I have couple of datasources for which Infopackage are missing .
I tried replicating the datasource and activated also but again Infopackage assignment are missing .
Please guide on this if any one faced similar issue .

The InfoPackages were never successfully transported into your N1 environment. There is only a couple of ways to get those InfoPackages in that environment: 1) capture the InfoPackages that are missing on a transport in your Development environment and move that transport throughout the landscape; or 2) find the transport or transports used to import those InfoPackages into the environments and re-import into N1.
To find the transport or transports, use tcode SE03. Double-click on the 'Search for Objects in Requests/Tasks' selection on the left navigation bar. In the first blank line, enter ISIP under the object type and then the technical name of the InfoPackage next to that. Upon execution, a list of transports that the object was on will appear. Re-import the last transport, if the transport doesn't have other objects that would be overwritten with an older version. If there are other objects that you don't want to overwrite, then Option 1 above is your only option.

Hi all,
Just installed PS business content in a BW 3.5 system. Cubes, ODS's, etc are all OK. But should there be InfoPackages supplied?

Welcome To SDN
Usually we will create our own info Packages based on our requirements like what cubes or ODS it should load also it is Delta/init/full. All these settings could be done in our info Packages based on our requirements.

Infopackages missing in BI content

I am installing BI content for BIW 7.0.
Many times I get a list of errors saying that 0PAK************* infopackage object not available.
Or some times I get an error saying process variant not found.
What do I do? should I go ahead with installation or is there any method which gives infopackages objects.

Yes I think what Anil Kumar says is right.
Is it possible for anybody of us to try this solution. I have already installed all the business contents, so it may not be possible for me. Still I will try for the same.
If anybody else is trying , please let us know the results.

2 Infopackages missing after installing Process Chain BI 7.0 TechContents

Hi,
I have installed the process chains for BI 7.0 Technical Contents and when trying to run a check on the process chains, I got an error on these 2 infopackages which were not installed from the BI 7.0 technical content packages:

0PAK_472D4SFZXKU0L9FF8UESP72F2
Anyone know if these 2 infopackages are needed and if yes, where are these infopackages loading data to?

Please upgrade the system to SAP_BW SP16
There is a work-around for activating these two process chains if you don't want to upgrade the SP Level to SP16.
Apply SAP Note No. 989927 and run the installation report RSTCC_ACTIVATEADMINCOCKPIT_NEW. Please follow the manual steps mentioned below.
Please execute the transaction RSPC (Network Display). Change to 'Edit' mode. Go to the Main Menu. Double-click on Query Runtime Statistics - Init (0TCT_C0_INIT_P01) and right-click on 'Load Data (0TCT_DSA1_INIT_DATAMART)' and select 'Remove Process' option in the Context Menu. Repeat the same procedure for the subsequent process 'Create Index (Generated from Loading 0PAK_472D4SFZXKU0L9FF8UESP72F2) and remove the links related to it as well. Then Activate the Process Chain 'Query Runtime Statistics - Init (0TCT_C0_INIT_P01)'.
Go to the Main Menu. Click on Query Runtime Statistics - Delta (0TCT_C0_DELTA_P01) and right click on 'Load Data (0TCT_DSA1_DELTA_DATAMART)' and click 'Remove Process' in the Context Menu. Remove all links leding to it as well. Then Activate the Process Chain 'Query Runtime Statistics - Delta (0TCT_C0_DELTA_P01)'.
Then Schedule the Process Chain 'Query Runtime Statistics - Init (0TCT_C0_INIT_P01)'. This will take care of the Process Chain 'Query Runtime Statistics - Delta (0TCT_C0_DELTA_P01)' as well.

Infopackage missing data

I have an initialization infopackage set up to load COPA from my R/3 QAS system to my BW QAS system. On the Data Selection tab Period/Year is set to 004.2005 to 012.2100. I have data in R/3 QAS up to period 12 of 2006 but I am only getting up to period 2 of 2006 in BW. I changed the To Value to 012.2010 and got the same results. Changed it to 012.2006 and still only get data to period 2 of 2006. I can see the data in R/3 up to period 12 of 2006. Running this as a full update instead of an initialization gives me the same thing.

Checked all the update rules and there is nothing there. I created a Full Update infopackage and ran it and I got all the records. I took the same infopackage and changed it from Full Update to Initialize and it gave me the records through period 2 of 2006 again. The only thing I changed was the Update tab.

Missing Infopackages in business content for BI Admin cockpit installation

Thanks for the responses. I am talking about the technical content process chain "0TCT_MD_C_FULL_P01". Can some one or SAP provide the environment details of the info packages used in the same process chains so that I can create them manually (e.g. data target info object, data sources used etc)

Missing Infopackage in 0TCT_MD_C_FULL_P01 Process chain

We are on SPS 11 and BISP- 12. We installed the technical content but above process chain contain missing infopackages. OSS not 981555 is not helping in this case ( Solution given by SAP). Can some one provide me the required details to create those missing infopackages manually.
Any one using 0TCT_MD_C_FULL_P01 process chain please help me or mail me the details @ [email protected]

Hi Anil,
Make sure that the data sources are replicated. Incase you want to activate process chain manually go to TX: RSORBCT and select only those system where you want to install the process chain ( Source system Assignment SHIFT+F7).
Incase you want to activate whole content go through the note 934848.

Missing Data Target in Infopackage for Update ODS Data in Data Target Cube

Hello & Best Wishes for the New Year to all of you,
I have 3 ODS (1 on Full Update and 2 with Delta Updates). All these 3 ODS update data to a single CUBE. In my development system this works correctly. Data load from PSA to ODS to Cube.
Now I transported this to my QA and Production System. In QA and Production System, I am able to load data upto all the 3 ODS and ACTIVATE Data in all these 3 ODS.
When I am trying for "Update ODS Data in Data Target" to load data from ODS to Cube in QA /PD, the system created Infopackage (ODS to CUBE), doesnot get the Data Target details. (Initial Upload / Full Upload). The Data Target Tab is Blank (expected Cube details).
I have tried to transport again after deleting the update rules.
Can you suggest what could be the problem ?

I have the ODS to CUBE Update Rules ACTIVE in the QA and PD system. Still the problem exists only in QA and PD. In DV the ODS to CUBE Data Target is available in the Infopackage and loading the data correctly to Cube.
Listing all the trials I have done :
1) Originally transported with all the Collected Objects. Inspite of having Active Update Rules, Data Target Cube was missing in QA and PD.
2) After this problem, I again transported only the Update Rules through the Transport Connection, still the problem didnot get solved in QA and PD.
3) Again, I sent a transport to delete the Update Rules which deleted the ODS to CUBE update rules in (DV), QA, PD. After that I sent another request to CREATE the ODS To CUBE UPDATE Rules in (DV), QA and PD. Still the Data Target is missing, inspite of having Active Update Rules in QA and PD.
In DV the ODS to CUBE Data Target is available and loading the data correctly to Cube, even now.
4) I have also tried "Generate Export Data Source" for the 3 ODS in QA and PD. Still it doesnot help.
Can you please suggest ?

Datatarget missing in InfoPackage

Friends,
I am on BW 3.1. I am copying data from a cube1 to Cube2. I have created update rule on Cube2 from Cube1 and Update rule are active.
When I go into Infosource (of Cube1) to create InfoPackage, i do not see Cube2 in Data Target tab.
Am I missing something?

Hi,
Planning cube(Transactional Infocube) are optimised for both Read and Write purposes. Planning cube can be write only using APIs and not using Infopackage.
But Non-planning cube can be loaded with Infopackage. Once u load this cube u can once again change this to Planning cube.

Tab "Data targets" is missing when creating an InfoPackage

Hello,
when I´m creating an InfoPackage in the maintain screen, the tab "Data targets" is missing, although there are some active transformations to InfoProviders. In tab "Processing" the option "Only PSA" is selected and all other options are greyed out.
Does someone knows the reason? How can I definde the Data Targets to be processed in the InfoPackage maintain view?

Hi All,
1.First of all, while creating transformations , mention sorce as Data source and target as Infocube and the same is for DTP creation also. Then we will get Data targets under "datatargets" tab.
2.As far as my openion is concerned,It will only works.. if we have the requirement to load Monthly data to one Infoprovider, yearly data to second Infoprovider and weekly data to third Infoprovider then we need to create three DTP's for for respective Infoproviders.In this case we can select appropriate Infoproviderwith respect to DTP's.

After an DB copy, from BW Prodution to Quality, the infopackages are missing.
Can anyone can tell me how to get the infopackages from PRD to QAS.

Casue for package missing
In some cases infopackages will be missing because of the INIT Delta infopackage will be copied againg from Production were duplicates are created for the same Init. so in such cases the package will be missing
During DB copy if any infopackage are created in production at that point of time the system will not take that package into consideration
inorder to get the package we can do reverse transport (from production to Quality)
follow the steps as below
Transporting from BWP TO BWQ : Reverse Transports
Step1
Create request in Source System (Eg: BWP) say A and Collect required objects (infopackage)into request A
Step2
Goto TCode : SE09/SE10 --> create a transport of Copies request B (give the user name and tick on transport copies just below the workbentch request)
Step3
Check, check box for Transport of Copies and click Create , now the system will prompt one more screen
Step4
Now choose Transports of Copies and continue.
Step5
Enter required Target system(F4 help available) Eg: BWQ.
Step6
Unlock Objects(Tcode : SE03) from Request A and Move Objects to Request B(Tcode SE10).
Step7
Delete objects from Request A
Step8
Relase the request B (se09)
Step9
Now log on to the Target System(Eg: BWQ) import Queue and import request.
Step10
In BWQ queue go to menu Request >Forward> give BWD or
you can directly provide BWD as Target System in Step 2
Step11
Go to BWD and import the request.

Hierarchy selection tab missing in infopackage

i am looking how to load multiple hierarchies to Bi so inorder to know available hierarchies from OLTP in hierarchy selection tab in infopackage which was not available at all. i had only data selection tab.i am using version Bi 7.0
how can i found hierarchy selection tab in infopackage

Hierarchy loading is the same for info object which is created under the info object itself.
loading is uploading the data to the hierarchy, creating hierarchy is you will be maintaing the structure of the hierarchy under that info object
Are you sure you have Hierarchy maintained for your info object?
If the hierarchies are maintained you will find the Bell type symbol under the info objects in info providers tab.
As told by mti - drill down till you find the data source --right click on it and select create info package - here you can find the tab hierarchy selection tab (which is the second tab in that screen).

BEGDA & ENDDA missing in InfoPackage selection

Hi All,
within my 0EMPLOYEE_ATTR extractor, the infopackage does not contain the BEGDA & ENDDA fields. they are definately ticked for 'selection' within RSA6. I have done replication and all other fields seem to be there besides these 2. Any ideas how i can get them to appear on infopackage for selection?

Hi Munaf,
I believe that SAP note 310304 explains the problem, to extract time dependent master data you must
use the fields 'DATETO' and 'DATEFROM'. You can't use BEGDA and ENDDA.
Please read the "solution" part of the note 310304 it explains what you need to do.

Scheduling InfoPackage fails to start extract in R/3

Hi,
We are extracting data from CO-PA using the delta infosource.
We initialised the Delta successfully (without data transfer) and have now scheduled our infopackage to extract data from R/3.
When we go to monitor, it tells us that the "Request is still running". Within Details:
Requests: Everything OK
Extraction: Missing messages
Transfer: Missing messages or data
Processing: no data
When I go to the R/3, SM37, I see that infact no extraction job has been scheduled. Consequently, the InfoPackage sits in a "Still running" status till it times out.
If I go to iDoc list in R/3 (Transaction WE05), I see within the inbox that there is a iDoc from my BW system of type "RSRQST" (BIW: Data Request message to OLTP) with a status of 64 ("iDoc ready to be transferred to application").
It seems that something is preventing this iDoc from initiating the extract.
Can anyone suggest a cause of this problem?

how about the other infopackage extraction ?
try to check following from monitoring of the request, menu Environment
- Transaction RFC >> in the datawarehouse
Transaction RFC >> in the source system
- ALE management >> in the datawarehouse
ALE management >> in the source system
- Check connection
- RFC log on

Fields missing in Update rules

I am creating snap shot DSO for inventory management and after that i created the update rules for it linking it to the info source 2LIS_03_BX. When i do this i am missing the info objects that i created to include in the DSO. How do i solve this issue as those info objects are very important and i have to create the routines for it.
I have got the units for those fields and they are mapped but the info objects itself are missing.

Yes, you can include the missing infoobject in DSO. for that you need to follow bellow steps:
a). Delete the data from DSO.
b). you have to include the infoobject in DSO.
Double click on DSO>select chage mode->select keyfield /data field node--->right click select Infoobject Direct Input.
c). Activate the DSO

The 2LIS_03_BX is used to extract an opening stock balance on a detailed level (material, plant, storage location and so on). At this moment, the opening stock is the operative stock in the source system. "At this moment" is the point in time at which the statistical setup ran for infosource 2LIS_03_BX.Loading the opening stock balance InfoSource 2LIS_03_BX into data target.In the InfoPackage, choose the upload mode u201CCreate opening balanceu201D.
