I am now using these objects.
・2 InfoCubes (same structure, each cube includes DTP)
・1 InfoSource
・1 DataSource (Flat File)
・1 InfoPackage (Used for 2 InfoCubes above)
I would like to upload data only to one of those 2 Infocubes, but it seems the check-box
which we were able to chose the data target in BW3.5 on the InfoPackage screen no more exists...
In 2004s BI, Do we always have to upload data to both data targets(DTP) ???
Please let me know.

Hi Daijiro,
The DTP does not offer any selection to update certain targets or not as stated in one of the answers.
The whole concept of DTP is to have a target based delta mechanism as opposed to the source driven delta mechanism of the previous releases.
You need a separate DTP per target you want to load.
In this DTP you can filter, but not (yet) on request-id.
You can try to include a identifying characteristic into the source and use that for filtering or as you suggested, use delta updates to both targets using PSA deletion to control the updates.

Opening Balance only for Assets and Liabilities in Trial Balance Report

Following is my query :
I would like to see the Opening balance in the Trial Balance report only for Assets and Liabilities and not for Revenue and Expenses.Though the other details such as Debit,Cumulative balance etc should be seen for all Assets,Liabilities,Revenues and Expenses.Kindly help.

You can try the option of running the Trail Balance for Assets and Liabilities with the Opening Balance checkbox and the other for revenue and other drawers without checking the Opening Balance.
Export the values to Excel and consolidate the reports to get the required result(if that is what is needed).

Read Only for "Group" and "Others" via SMB

I see when Windows vista users of my OS X 10.5.8 server save a file to the server, the permissions show on the server as Read & Write for the owner and Read Only for 'Group' and 'Others'.
Is there a way I can make the OS X server always make 'Group' and 'Others' always be Read & Write?

It's using a shared component LOV cleverly called LOV_YN which consists of a static LOV with
1 Display=Yes, Return=Y
2 Display=No, Return=N
The settings in the LOV section on the item iteself:
Named LOV: LOV_YN
Display Extra values: No Dynamic translation: Not translated
Number of columns: 2 Display null: No
Null display value is blank as is null return value
Item was setup as a radio group and was only converted over to a select list to work around this issue. Let me know what else you need and thanks again.

i think you can put the device in airplane mode then selectively turn on wifi...
before you travel you could try this and check your cellular usage on the settings ! mobile data display. you might be able to turn mobile data / cellular radio off that way as well.

How old is your MBP? how many cycle batter do have ?
I will also recomend to use the software http://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/24141/battery-health-monitor
to monitor battery life.
You should be able to read everything from the software.

I am so impressed wit the welcome page saying "Join the conversation. Share tips and solutions with fellow Apple product users from all around the world."
Apple mentioned for their products users around the world but many of their free itunes products are available only for USA and not for the users from the other side of the globe?
Is this Apple a fair and customer oriented company or full of bias and Only money oriented company.
If apple could not make thier other FREE stuffs available outside US territory then better for thsi company to just sell their products in USA. its just so disgusting... If we need a certain apps (FREE APPS) available only for US based users.

Security: Read-only for USB and FireWire

Is there a way to secure the external data ports on a Mac so you can't write to a USB and/or FireWire drive? Obviously we need the SATA / InternalHD to be regular read/write. I've swapped out the optical drive so it is a read-only device, but it would be nice to have a solution that prevents writing to optical media as well.

I can't find the page(s) that reference these PDFs, so you have to download them directly.
Within the two documents are information about "removing support for mass storage devices" by trashing certain files (IOUSBMassStorageClass.kext for USB and IOFireWireSerialBusProtocolTransport.kext for FireWire).
One caveat seems to be that these files may be restored through system updates, so you need to write a login script (script provided in Leopard PDF) to ensure they are removed or simply be aware of the issue when installing system updates.

Change public share access to read only for public and full access to selected users

Hi, new to the community just purchased a recertified WDMyCloud 2TB after my 2 years old MyBookLive 2TB HD died due to accidental power cable unplugging. I've got everything setup including MiniDLNA by following instructions on this forum and everything is working exactly as I want it to except public share. I want public share to be set to read only access for public and full access to certain users (just myself at the moment) and having a "upload" folder within this share with full public access to everything in this folder would be a bonus. I tried login in to ftp with root user and removing write permission for public but that blocks me out as well. I'm sure it's possible by doing some majic on SSH but I wouldn't have a clue so hoping someone here would be able to help me out.

i have set - fetch new data to off but my pay as you go card took 5uk pounds in one day.

One of the problems you're up against is that the iphone is designed to always have a data connection. There is no way, currently, to completely eliminate that data connection & still use the iphone as a phone. OS 4.0, when released this summer, will add the capability to completely turn that connection off, but OS 4.0 has not been released yet. When the iphone goes into sleep mode, it will disconnect from WiFi(to save battery) and connect to the cellular data network for any application that might need data. Again, a design feature that cannot be currently overridden.

Multiple bugs in multiple apps but only for me and not my friends

I have a lot of problems with various apps that ONLY happen for me, none of my friends with the same apps get these problems.
I have tried the following:
Backup and restore - doesnt fix it
start over again redownloading the apps by syncing - Seems to fix things, a few days or a week later the problems reappear (might be after I did another sync)
started on my 3gs, also happens on my 4
So I think there is a problem in my account somewhere and no idea how to fix it at all.
So really what I would like to do is just transfer only my app purchases to a new account and start fresh from there, I wouldnt even mind if the old account was then deleted either but I dont mind either way
Oh and before someone asks its not and never has been jailbroken.

I am configuring the replication between oracle-oracle and regarding DDL replication ,for few tables , in addition to the DML replication , i want to capture only the DDL's related to the structure changes to the table (only adding or deleting a column) and noting else for ddl. For this , is the below command sufficient for my requirement or do i need to have the 'exculde' parameter specifying all those that needs to be excluded.If anything else needs to be configured , please let me know .
