Infopath 2007 form minimizes after digitally signing to task bar

Hello,
I have a strange but intermittent problem, sometimes the whole InfoPath 2007 program
Minimizes when it digitally signs a form, Most of my users thinks its been submitted, but
they have to maximize then press submit. This happens on all forms. Any Ideas?

1. Use TC - DC10--define document type,
.or u can navigate by SPRO> Crass application functions>document management>control data> difine document type.
2.Here u select your document type, to whicch u need Automatic Status Networking.
3.Select define document statuse folder in the same screen. u develop ur document network.
note: when u develope statuse net work, it will always triggers next status. for this next statuse would be change or approve like.
4.Here u will find assigne digital sign field. here acually u enter your digital signaure[name] which u created erliear.
5.save entries.
6.Automatic triggering means u have to set work flow. once a person enters the signature for appropriat status, the doc would triggers next person[inbox], whos is approver or releaser.......like this u have to develop stause with signature mandatory to set workflow for automatic triggering, Both options is available in same screen.

JavaScript for completely locking pdf after digitally signing

I currently use both Abobe Acrobat XI and Livecycle Designer ES4.
When i want to add the option to completely lock down a document after digitally signing (inc disabling of the 'clear signature' option) i execute javascript within the properties of the digital signature which works fine no problem.
Im lead to believe that Livecycle will remove any scripting from a pdf created within acrobat as it uses its own flavour so to speak.
My question is, does anybody know what the Livecycle equivalent is to have the option of locking after signing (as image) and disable the 'clear signature' feature post signing?
Any feedbcak is appreciated.

Not sure where your pic is from. But in LC Designer you can specify what you want locked after signing.

Locking a field after digitally signed

I am working on a monthly document. When the user selects a value from a dropdown field, there is a signature box below it. Is there a way to lock that dropdown field after the corresponding signature box is digitally signed?

The user can choose to lock the entire document (if it's the last signature), or you can set up the signature field so that other fields are locked by making them read-only when it is signed. See the Signed tab or the digital signature field's Properties dialog to see where you can do this.

How to minimize a VI to the task bar upon calling it

I'm trying to find a way to automatically minimize a VI's front panel to the

InfoPath 2007 forms issue in SP2013

I am upgrading MOSS 2007 site into SP2013, after I finish migration and upgrade, when try to fix the connection and upgrade InfoPath forms, I reached to the point that there are no errors in the form, but when upload the form template as admin approved templates,
and activate the template for the site collection successfully, when I try to load the form, I receive an error:
"The form template failed to load."
I reviewed the event log, and I find the issue similar to the following KB article.

Any solution for this issue?

check the SharePoint logs. If necessary, crank up the logging levels for InfoPath.

Email submit button doesn't work after digitally signing document

I have a PDF fillable form that works great except for the digital signature fields. Every employee needs to fill it out, sign it, hit the email submit button to faward it to the boss, who then signs it and saves it. There are two digital signature fields that need to be signed by different people. If the employee fills out all of the fields and then hits the email submit button, everything works as it should. However, if they sign it digitally like we need them to and then press the email submit button, nothing happens. It's like the button is no longer interactive at all. The mouse doesn't even change anymore when hovering over it. How can I fix this?

When you click the submit button, do you get a window that has the title "Select Email Client"and has the options of "Desktop Email Application" and "Internet Email"? If not, does anything at all happen?
Note that Mac users must have Acrobat or Reader installed and be viewing the PDF in Acrobat or Reader for it to work. Many (most?) Mac users have the Preview Application as their default PDF viewer, and it does not support many interactive features such as form submissions. Although some third-party PDF viewers for Windows support form submissions, many do not.
For those that do not use PDF viewers that support form submissions, they will have to manually attach the document to an email message.

Marking Fields as Read-Only After Digitally Signing Issues

I am creating a PDF form that contains several digital signatures. I am selecting a signatures and am in the property options for that specific signature looking at the "Signed" tab. I select, Mark as read only, than choose "Just these Fields.
When I select "pick" a new box opens that lists all the fields in my form with a check box next to each. It appears that I can select the fields I want to mark as read only, however, when I attempt to check a box, nothing. I can select "select all" and all the firlds become checked, but I cannot check individual fields.
Any thought on what might be going on?

Problems with digitally signed PDF FORM

Hi everyone,
I am having a situation as follows:
I have a adobe form that is digitally signed. In Adobe 9 once it is signed, the two properties are set as -
1)Document assembly not allowed
2)Changing the document not allowed.
By saving the pdf into .ps file and reopening it with Adobe pro, I was able to put some links from the text in PDF, using "LINK TOOL" button. But if I redo the links again, then comes the problem. And also, When I merge this pdf form with another the signatures are lost!!! Can anyone please help me and shed some light on this.

One thing to realize is one of the purposes of a digital signature is to provide proof of document integrity. With that in mind, although in Acrobat 8 and earlier you were allowed to make changes to the document, and thus invalidate the digital signature, beginning with version 9 we have disabled that functionality. If you need to edit the core PDF don't sign it. The signature should be applied after all of the document layout has been completed. You can fill in form fields and add comments and annotations post signing, but it makes no sense to modify the document structure when all it will do is invalidate the signature.

Cannot save file after it is digitally signed

Hello, I work for the IT Dept at my company and one of our employees is having trouble saving PDF files after digitally signing them. He received the error message:
The document could not be saved. Can not save to this file name. Please save the document with a different name or in a different folder.
After each signature, Acrobat asks to save the file, which he does. The strange thing is that he may sign the same document 4 times, and the error might only occur on the last attempt to save. It will successfully perform it the first three times. I cannot find a pattern to the errors. The times he gets the error messages don't necessarily all happen on the last attempt, it might be the first or the middle. I have tried updating the program and searching around through the options to find any setting which may be applicable, but have had no luck. I have been trying to solve this problem for a few days now and I can't make any progress.
Does anyone eles have this problem or have a solution?

I don't have an answer as I have never seen the problem. However, for those that might be able to answer the question they will likely want to replicate the problem. It would be helpful to know what OS (and if 32 or 64-bit) and what version (include subversion) of Acrobat -- latest 10.1.4. If you can create a sample document that has the problem, then folks may have an easier time to repeat it. A document can be posted either at one of your sites, Acrobat.com, or maybe dropbox.

Form guide with digital signature inside workspace

I want to use form guides for user form filling, but also the resultant PDF form must be digitally signed. I'm presenting the form inside Workspace and as a part of workflow.
I've read Form Guides Getting Started document. There, it uses xfaForm type input variable for the process. As I know, xfaForm is data only. So it doesn't work when signatures are needed. I've tried to change the variable type to documentForm in the Sample Mortgage Loan Flex process, but with again no success. This time, on the second step of process, the form rendering on Workspace gave an error as follows:

This can be done but you must use the Document Form var to route the signed pdf. You must configure the FormGuide submit button to 'Submit from PDF' in Guide Builder.
Also the button on the form must be configured to submit as 'PDF' (not XDP). This change is done when you open the form in designer.
Note that after you have submitted the signed pdf you will be dealing with a pdf subsequently.

However we are receiving an error when attempting to enter data in the field which we have this edit. Error property: line through cannot be set because doing so would violate the document permission setting. any idea how we can get around this issue?

You can control which fields are locked down after signing by setting up a collection. Then those that are not locked can be changed after signing. If this is not possible, then the line outs must occur prior to signing.

How do you auto populate a date in a different text field after someone digitally signs the PDF form?

I am trying to auto populate a date in a text box on the upper right hand corner of my document after someone digitally signs it. Is this possible? How do you do this?

Go to the Properties of the Digital Signature field and under the Signed tab enter this JS code, under the last option:

Of course, you can adjust the field name and the date format used in the script above.

Distributing Forms after they have been digitally signed.

I would be very grateful for help received in responding to my question. I have checked the messages, at length, but cannot find an appropriate answer/solution.
This is my Company Policy document workflow.
1.PDF created with form fields as well Digital Signature Fields.
2. Document is sent to Reviewer1 for approval and Digital Signs. ( any edits are made to document prior to signing)
3. Document is sent to Reviewer2 for approval and Digital Signs.
4.Final reviewer Digital Signs.
Now that the Policy has been approved by the Management Team, the Policy is ready for employees to read and complete the form fields
- Name
- "I have read and understood this document:Check box
- email address
When I go to Distribute forms via internal server I get the following message, "Acrobat is not able to create a usable response file from the returned form because the form restricts need operations"
This allows me to ensure that a management approved policy has been published and we can collate the information as to who has read and not read the document.

So you have something that looks like this, where there is a submit button somewhere on the page and some data you want to submit:
If you get the Properties of the button, and then select the Actions tab you should see something like this:
Then if you select Submit a form and then click the Edit button you should see something akin to this:
Finally, make sure you click the Select fields button and only select fields that are going to contain data. In other words, no signature fields:

In Firefox Options / Privacy be sure "Remember download history" is checked. To see all of the options on that panel, "Firefox will" must be set to "Use custom settings for history".
