InfoRecord price versus Contract Agreement Price !!!

Hi
I have a material for which there is full fledged InfoRecord and the price in that matained as 30 euro.
And i have a contract agreement for the same material which i have price as 28 euro.
Now if i raise a PO for that material mentioning both the inforecord nunber and contract agreement number in the PO, which price should it pick up ....Inforecord price or Contract Price  as per SAP Standard ??
Swiftly reply me
cheers
MaruthiRam

Hi,
As per SAP Standard Source Determination happens in following sequence;
1. Quota Arrangement
2. Source List
3. Outline Agreements (Contracts / Scheduling Agreement)
4. Purchase Info Record
So when you create a PO w.r.t. Contract then it will copy price from Contract document instead of taking from Purchase Info Record.

  • Changing Info Rec Prices when Contract Exists....no warning?

    Hi all,
    Quest1:
Does anyone know a way to initiate a warning (or hard stop) in ME12 (Change Info Record) when a user is changing a price when a Contract exist for that material and vendor in the info record?
The Superuser's goal: Stop other users from changing the Info record price when a Contract already in the system exists with a agreed price. How to put a hard stop? I know for a fact, there's a msg that compare's Material Std Cost with the Purchase Price and gives warning, but that doesn't service this purpose as Superuser want to block the Info Rec being changed if a Cotract Exists.
    Quest 2:
Also, when a Contract's Price is changed (in ME32K) it will NOT change the Info Rec (created earlier may be manually or as a result of RFQ price selection) Price, eventhog the Contract "Info Update" indicator is set.
Why is thi? Do you guys know?

    hi Duke,
Asnwer 1 . you can make the message an error message, by this your problem will be solved and no one enter the same again....
Answer 2. In the std sap system, PO price doesn't get updated in the inforecord, but the PO price history gets updated....
This may be because, if you make the one PO and change it....and after this if you wanna make the other po with the last ie. ORIGINAL price...then we you use the inforecord to see the original price...while on the other hand you can also see the PO price history from ME1P for the same...
    Hope it helps...

  • Price Match Contract Phones - Call Mobile Back Office

I went into my local Best Buy yesterday to purchase a new iPhone and asked to have it price matched with Walmart's $50 off deal. I was told that they do not price match contract phones. I told them that I had read on the Best Buy Forums that they do, but they refused to give me the price match. I went ahead and purchased the phone thinking I may be wrong.
After I left, I looked up the forums again and confirmed that others had asked and the moderators said they would price match. So, I called 1-800-BESTBUY. The first person I spoke with said the same thing - no price match. I told her about the forums and she put me on hold and confirmed with her manager that they will not price match contract phones. I then pointed out the forums and she pulled it up so we could look at them together. She went and spoke with her manager again and they finally agreed that they could price match. She then transferred me to mobile sales (45 minutes later). Mobile sales said they would not be able to help me and transferred me to Mobile Back Office.
At this point I had been on the phone for 1 hour and 13 minutes. Finally, Mobile Back Office confidently told me that they do offer price match on contract phones from local retailers; e.g. Walmart. I was so relieved...but then he said I would have to go back in the store to have the price match honored since that is where I purchased the phone. But he said the store associate could call 1-800-BESTBUY and ask for the Mobile Back Office to confirm the price match policy if they have questions. So, I guess I will be headed back in the store again tomorrow.
Moral of the story? If your local store tells you they won't do the price match on contract phones...save yourself an hour and 15 minutes and just have them call and speak to Mobile Back Office.

    Greetings mcharman,
I hope you are enjoying your new iPhone! I’m sorry to hear you had such difficulties with price matching Wal-Mart. After receiving various answers, I can imagine you might be a bit confused on how to request a price match.
Generally speaking, we should price match contract phones that are sold at local retailers, although contract phones sold by online retailers would be excluded. You may review this via our Price Match Guarantee page on BestBuy.com.
That being said, while we do price match contract phones (as long as it's available at a local competitor) there are times where the competitor's sale may have terms and conditions that ultimately result in Best Buy not being able to match their advertised price. You may wish to consult a manager at your local store for further consideration on the price match.

  • End of Contract Huge Price Hike

Earlier this year (April 2013) I was offered the chance to upgrade my Broadband to BT Infinity free of charge with a promise on the letter of no change to my contract or price increases.   Although the speed difference from standard Broadband (15-17mb) to Infinity (24mb) wasn't huge I upgraded.  With my line rental and call plans the monthly bill came to around £30.00
To my horror, when I checked my bill this month the cost had risen to £45.00.  It turns out that my annual contract had ended and I was now paying full price for the Infintiy.
When I rang to complain I was told the offer was for 12 month - I tried to explain that I had only had the Infinity since April but they did not appear to understand.
BT have always managed to offer a discount on my package, but it appears that I am no longer eligable for any discounts despite being a customer for over 25 years.   The best offer they could give me was to cancel my Infinity and move back to Broadband.
I am seriously annoyed having being conned into thinking I would get Infinity at the discounted rate for 12 months,  and because Sky will charge me £50 to move to them I'm stuck with BT.
Having also been the victim of the direct debit date change BT are in serious danger of loosing another loyal customer.
Poor service form a company who could not care less about their customers.

They have done something similar to me, I was paying £25.50 for my broadband even though the price was lowered to £16 a month for my package but they never changed the price of my package to reflect that even though I was several months out of contract.
I asked them to put my price inline with what was currently payable and they agreed but placed me on another 12 month contract but they also agreed to lower my line rental to £11 a month as a good will gesture.
12 months on my contract period has expired but they have decided to put my price up to £25.50p (for the option 3 £16pcm contract) again........
I asked why they did this when I had asked for my price to be brought into line with current prices and they told me it had been a mistake and I was put on a reduced price contract instead of having the price brought into line by mistake (the lady admits this is a mistake).
They said they can lower the price again but will be subject to another 12 month contract.

  • Excise duty not picking when we enter basic price in contract

    Hi Friends,
When we are creating contract, we have to manually enter basic price after entering basic price system is not picking Excise duties. But we are doing carry out new pricing that system is picking excise duty. So i need solution from all SD experts.
I need two options one is when we are creating contract after entering basic price system should automatically pick Excise duty. Or System should prompt that i have to carry out new price. Please suggest how to do.
    Thanks in advance
    Sree

Use same Excise Con Type based pricing procedure, Wat you might be using for your normal sales order.
Or you can refer standard pricing procedure foor excise based pricing
    JINFAC     IN:Factory sale (pefer)
    JFACT     IN:Factory sale with formula
Primarily, maintain Condition Record for Excise Duty Con Type with relevant access seq & tax code in VK11.
On execution, check plant & S Loc. determination should take place automatically.

  • Cost center PR price from contract

    Hi
my requirement is to get  Purchasing Request ((which is cost center PR acct cat:K)) price, from a relevant valid contract..
even when i assign the contract as a source of supply system doesnt take the PR price from contract?
    Any suggestions
    Thx in advance

    Hi ,
Please take care of the SAp note 311174
    Cause and prerequisites
The transfer of data from the source of supply is not planned and only
makes sense in some cases. In particular when you change the source of
supply later the copied data must be changed again. However, at this
time it is no longer clear whether the data was copied from the source
of supply or was entered manually.
For your requirement, I would like to suggest you to use the enhancement
below to implement your own logic in purchase requisition:

  • Problem with Purchase Contract Item Price - 2lis_02_itm

    Hello !
I used 2lis_02_itm extractor in order to extract the Purchase contracts (transaction me33k in R/3) with Item Prices. The problem is that the extractor takes the price
from ekpo table but the Contract item prices exist in konp table and its very complicate to calculate the net price.
    Somebody know the solution ?
    Thanks In advance,
    MM. michal

    Thanks for your answer.
I found out that all the subtotal1-6 are empty in my extractor.
If you interest I found in R3 transaction  ME3P
That update the prices from konp in  EKPO and all my problems solved.
    Again thanks , michal

  • Schedule agreement price change

    Hi,
I need to change the Schedule Agreement price based on the Material and Vendor.
Is there any Function module available for this.

    Done through BDC.

  • Change Net Price of Scheduling agreement (ME32L/MEK2)

    Hi,
I need to modify via ABAP program the net price of scheduling agreements.
My current program edits price conditions through batch-inputs on MEK1 / MEK2 but they don't automatically update the net price.
The ME32L allows editing of price conditions and automatically updates the net price, but is not suitable for a batch input.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks and regards
    Francesco

    Dear Frans,
As per i know You can use ME32L for batch input,. you can try to record the script using SHDB.

  • Comparing contract scales prices with the manually entered price in a PO

Need a function module or BAPI to compare price entered in PO with the scales prices maintained in the contract. The price field to be maintained in the  PO should be editable so that it can be compared with the scales prices in the contract.

    hi,
When you make the contract release order referencing a contract already maintained, then you can see the values at the header...
But even if you wanna compare then you can ON your Document Overview and select the contract and go into it and check ...
But even though if it doesn't satisfies, then check ME3P with this you can maintain prices in background...
If req. for more details check table EKPO/EKKO...Also check tables KONH/KONP in which conditions are stored...

  • Error in prices of contract

I have created a local contract in SRM.
However, the materials do not take the price from contract.
The SC take the price in zero when they are created directly in SRM, and the transferred ones of ECC take the price from backend.
some suggestion to solve this issue?

    what is yr tech scenario?
    classic or ECS?
you are using local or backend products?
If SC is created with backend products
and tech scenario is CLASSIC with backend pur grp responcible
then if a valid ECC contract is available for the SC product
and source list is maintained for the plant and material in ECC
SRM picks up the ECC contract as source of supply
    what is yr requirement?

  • PO net price updation with respect to contract net price change

We have a requirement: Whenever net price in Contract is changed, net price in open purchase orders (for which GR has been not done yet) which are created with reference to that contract updated automatically.
For example net price in a conract is 13 USD and there are 5 open POs. now net price (PB00) in contact is changed to 13.5 USD without changing the condition validity date, then it should be automatically updated in those 5 POs.

    Hi Manoj,
This is possible using "Automatic Document Adjustment" functionality (MM - Purchasing -- PO - Follow-on Functions - AAA).
    Here's the process.
    1. Set Document Index active flag in pur. view of vendor master.
    2. Create work list (MEI4)
    3. Run MEI1
2 & 3 above can be run daily via batch jobs which will pick up contract price changes and update relevant PO's.
    Cheers !

  • Sales order price versus invoice price

    Hi Gurus
i want to know if there is a report that display differences between the sales order prices and the invoices prices.
    Thanks

    Dear,
I think there is no standard report in SAP for your thread but you can develop it with the help of your ABAP developer.

  • List Price versus Market Price

What is the difference between list price and market price under the purchasing tab in the item master? Does one have precendce over the other? Which one populates the price field in iProcurement?

    user8663638 wrote:
What is the difference between list price and market price under the purchasing tab in the item master? In the PO line if you enter an item Purchasing defaults the list price for the item (from item definition) in the (unit) price field (quantity based line types). You can accept the default list price or change it. This list price also gets populated in the list price field (PO line, Price Reference tab).On the other hand, if you enter an item Purchasing populats the market price for the item in the market price field (PO line, Price Reference tab)
For supplier inventory replenishments item list price must be present ot generate a requisition. Market price is not used in such places
    user8663638 wrote:
Does one have precendce over the other? In the Savings Analysis Report, when Quote is not defined, the Negotiated amount is calculated by multiplying the Market Price present in the PO line and quantity ordered. If market price is missing then it takes the List price.
So here market price has precedence over list price.
Please note that there is a documentation bug in some places in the PO user guide and Metalink etc sources where it states that in the Savings Analysis Report list price will have precedence over market price. This is wrong. You have to run the report with both the values present in PO line to find the truth. Also in the Savings Analysis Report description portion in the PO user guide the correct statement is present.
