INFORECORD VALIDITY EXPIRES TO BE CONTROLED IN PO

Sir,
ply help me if the validity of inforecord expires in a po.i want to control in a po.
the issue is i have already made all fields grey in a po so price will automatically willbe taken from inforecord
but in case validity expires without intimation it will be taken from last po which i dont want...
ply help me for the solution

Hi,
As you mention validity period of info record get expire then system will pick the price from last PO ,it is standard procedure.
As po is time independent document, so it can't store the conditions for a valid time period.If system does not have the valid inforecord then system searches for the other documents like contract, quotation etc or schedule agreement depending on the document type settings and then referece it in the PO.If system didn't find anything then price will be populated from Last PO.
To avoid to do so :
Please extend the validity period of Info record.
You can create new condition record for the same.

JRE Cache ignores the "Expire" and "Cache-Control: no-cache" directives.

My applet is using HttpURLConection to retrieve data from a server with Caching enabled. The cache contents are "revalidated" (via "if-modfied-since") each time the applet is started. However, subsequent requests to retrieve the same resource are always read from the cache with no validation even if the resource has expired.
The server is sending a valid "Expires:" tag and "Cache-Control: no-cache" tag in the response; but, the JRE refuses to recheck for an updated version of the resource even after the file has expired.
The JRE does seem to understand the "Cache-Control: no-store" tag; but, this is inefficient (no caching at all) when I'm tring to get it to not refetch the resource unless there's a change. Is there some other tag that the JRE is expecting to see?

I have a similar problem except that I want my pages to not cache at all. The server is setting the Cache-Control: max-age to 0 and the Expires to "now" but JRE seems to ignore these settings, but only sometimes. Sometimes pages are fetched from cache and sometimes from the server.
In my applet I'm using a normal URLConnection like this:

my client using validity in inforecord, he wants report that shows all the expired inoforecords.
is there any standard report that shows the validity period of the inforecord (expired validity dates)

Background job cancelled due to user validation expired

Hi Experts,
One background job is cancelled due to user (owner of the job) validation has been expired. This job is executing for every 1 Hr.
I don't want to change the user id validation at this movement.but i want to change the owner of the job.

Thank you for your valuable information.
I Followed the same below mentioned steps.i.e I changed the user name and after this i deleted this job from old user. But now this job is not executable with new user id.
i.e In SM37 T.code > Entered the job name and New user name>Selected all job status but it showing below message
No job matches the selection critera.
Please let me know how can i execute the same jod with new user id.

Inorder to change the validity to in Pur.Org Data 1 , u need to click on Conditions button.
Then change the valid t , save the changes .
This will automatically get updated in the Pur.Org Data screen.

Validation Account in Process Control

Hi,
Every time I try to enter in Process Control in a application in HFM 9.3.3 receive this error:
"Cannot perform process flow action because the Validation Account is invalid. ALL cannot be specified as a top member for the Validation Account."

In fact, they are clear, but in all accounts the property SubmissionGroup is set with 1 as default. And the other apps that work in this same environment have an account assigned to the property ValidationAccount. The question is: Isn't it mandatory to have an Account assigned to this property to access ProcessControl?

Passage of time is not an event. You will have to schedule a program that runs every day (or week or minute or..) that compares SY-DATUM to the TO-DATE of the condition record. If any are found to have expired, you can email those condition records.

Function for column validation in SQl Loader control file.

Hello Gurus,
We have an requirement to create a function to validate all date and number columns in control file, and return 0/1 accordingly to valid_column which is last column . I have developed the function which accepts the number and date type columns as parameter and return Y/N. My question is, is there any way so that the function could be created without passing any parameter to it?
If yes, then how to call the function in control file?
I have been searching since a while on Google to find out any solution but could find out.

Maintain Validity Date for Mitigation Control Assignment to Users Virsa 5.2

We have over 1,000 SoD's all mitigated. The val;idity date for these mitigation controls needs to be updated. Does anyone know a way to perform a range of updates so it is not necessary to update each user assigned to a Mitigation Control.

The only way to do that currently would be to download the table information, edit in Excel and re-upload the table.
Not for the faint of heart, but doable.

Validity period mitigating control

I checked this forum but didn't find any helpful thread for my question. We are using GRC version 5.3. Is there any SAP report or tables available that would show history of mitigating controls per user? In running the Compliance Calibrator for a user, SOD issues were present that we didn't expect because we thought existing mitigating controls were applied and that we were regularly monitoring this user for the associated risks. We thought that the problem might be that the validity period might have expired, but our corporate security group currently doesn't even show the mitigating control for the user. I wanted to look at the history of the mitigating control for the user to see if I could validate their claim.

First of all, there's a special forum for GRC: "Governance, Risk and Compliance".
Check under RAR-> configuration tab:
Default expiration time for mitigating controls (in days)
When assigning a mitigating control to a risk, you must specify the validity period of the controlIf the End Date is left blank, the value in this option is used to calculate the end date of the validity period; the default value is 365 (days)
Check also under CUP->configuration->mitigation.
You'll be able to find the documentation for this configuration parameters in the corresponding Config Guide.
Regarding Mitigation controls per user, I guess you can just check RAR -> Mitigation tab.

Mitigation control ID validity extension -easy way

I work in GRC AC 5.3. All Mitigation control IDs have a validity expiration on same date in near future. Our GRC has many mitigation control IDs with mitigated users. How can I change the valid to date in convenient way?
It may be extended for all mitigated users separately/individually, but it will take huge time.

You can download all of them in a text file, make changes and upload it back via the import/export utility under mitigation tab,

Help needed to take control back from sqlplus for expired password

Hi,
I am executing the following line for Oracle 11g in Windows from my application
sqlplus -L "aaaa"/"aaaa" @connectonly.sql >>"D:\tempDBlogs\connectonly.log"
connectonly.sql file contains the following code:
whenever sqlerror exit 1
whenever oserror exit 2
exit
This piece of code executes fine for both correct & incorrect userid & password and gives proper messages. Now the problem is when password of the user in DB gets expired. The controls waits for user input. But my problem is I am runinng this code from an application which waits for sqlplus.exe to end, as it can't proceed without validation. But sqlplus runs as background process and the command prompt never comes to user. Moreover I dont want to give the user the option to change DB password from my application front end.
So I need to find a way so that if password is expired sqlplus will return the control and will not wait for user input. Or atleast my application gets to know that the password is expired so that it can kill sqlplus process.
Can somebody help me in this.

interesting question. I tried something on unix and this seems to work. I simply piped a line through this which leads to an error with the expire-prompt and doesnt do any harm when there is no such prompt:

CoCd validation in controlling area

Hi Gurus,
I want to activate CoCd validation checkbox in the controlling area using OKKP.
This controlling area I want to change is active for some years.
When i try to do it, I get a critical warning message although it's possible (because the co.area is active).
I have also the option to do it as of date, and open a new record from 2010 year with this indicator.
What option is preferred?
Can you see any problem with any of these options?

Procedure
If the target system already contains transaction data for CO objects from the controlling area, you should carry out the transport only if this does not change the indicator in the target system.
You can check the indicator in the Implementation Guide under:
Controlling -> General Controlling -> Production Start-Up Preparation -> Set "Update All Currencies" Indicator.
Choose Display indicator.
Note
Not that the entries displayed are the fiscal years as of which the indicator is active or inactive. This status holds until a new entry is made.
Examples
The target system already contains control indicators for 1994, 1997 and 2003. The following validity periods then exist:
Control indicator for year Validity period All currencies
1994 1994 - 1996 X
1997 1997 - 2002 X
2003 2003 - 9999 X
If the source system also contains an entry for the fiscal year 2000, for which the indicator is inactive, transporting the indicator would lead to the following:

Table control Validation

I have worked in CT04 transaction. In that if we specify the character type (Eg . Characetr Foramt) & enter the number of characetrs as 3 means in value tab it wont allow as to enter value greater than 3. It wont show any error message but it restrict the cursor(the cursor wont move at all)
I want to do this kind of validation in my table control.
I debugged the program also But not able to get it.
Main program is SAPLCTMV and screen number is 1200.
The table control field is CAWN-ATWRT.
Can any one help me to solve this problem.
