Hi Amey ,
Inorder to change the validity to in Pur.Org Data 1 , u need to click on Conditions button.
Then change the valid t , save the changes .
This will automatically get updated in the Pur.Org Data screen.

If you can use separate project type for those project u can control field selection on OPUK having influencing field as project type.

B1 Validation Conf. to change rows of a SO

    Hello - I would like to be able to change all rows in a sales order. We have a custom field added to the sales order as a column. It's a combo box called shipping instructions with three values. If we have an order with twenty lines and wish to change the shipping instructions, it has to be done row by row. I have a B1 validation configuration firing when the value is changed, it runs a universal function which is a message of type question but then I can't run the code to change all the rows. If I use a line loop how would I insert the question.
    The functionality should be if a user clicks on the shipping instructions and changes the value a question should be posed as weather the user wants to change all rows or just the current row. If the user clicks yes all rows should be set to the combo box value the user picked. If the user clicks no only the current row should be changed.
    Am I approaching this wrong? Attached is a screenshot of what I currently have. Thanks for any pointers.

Change the validity date in change number

hi team,
I want to change the validity date of a change number from 01.01.09 to 01.03.09. I am getting an error "A BOM has already been changed using a change number with the same valid-from date as the selected date 03.01.2009". I can change the date to before 01.01.09 but cannot after 01.01.09.
Can you please help me.

Is it a change number with release key or without release key?
Do you want to assign a different validity date for the changes made using that change number?
Try using alternative date field in CC02.and you have to select the object to assign the alternative date.
Say if you want to assign an alternative date for a processed BOM,you have to select that object and
enter the alternative date.

INFORECORD VALIDITY EXPIRES TO BE CONTROLED IN PO

ply help me if the validity of inforecord expires in a po.i want to control in a po.
the issue is i have already made all fields grey in a po so price will automatically willbe taken from inforecord
but in case validity expires without intimation it will be taken from last po which i dont want...
ply help me for the solution

Hi,
As you mention validity period of info record get expire then system will pick the price from last PO ,it is standard procedure.
As po is time independent document, so it can't store the conditions for a valid time period.If system does not have the valid inforecord then system searches for the other documents like contract, quotation etc or schedule agreement depending on the document type settings and then referece it in the PO.If system didn't find anything then price will be populated from Last PO.
To avoid to do so :
Please extend the validity period of Info record.
You can create new condition record for the same.

BOM Validity - Using Engineering Change Management

Hello All,
We are currently reviewing the ECM functionality to assistn in BOM validity maintenance. I have made the necessary changes in SPRO to activate this functionality. My initial testing utilizing the Change Master and associating it with the BOM works fine. However, the question I had was more around having to make retroactive changes. I noticed that the system using the Entered or Created date from the transaction to determine the BOM validity. Is there anyway to influence the BOM validiy to look at document dateof the transaction instead of entered date? Has anyone run into this type of issue before?

Hi Krishna,
You can use change numbers to change independent (recipe) formula in the PLM-Recipe Management.
The object formula is assigned to the object type specification (type 60 of the change management).
For the object type specification the use of the object management record is not supported in the SAP standard.
Only the change documents are available.

Simple wizard-generated DML form on a table. Hidden numeric primary key (PK), displayed multi-column unique key (UK1,UK2); standard table design.
Combination of conditional readonly and editable page items. NOT EXISTS validation to replace ORA-0001 with a friendlier error message. Validation should fire only when key fields (UK1 or UK2) are changed. Changes to other fields on the record should be allowed.
But APEX server side conditions don't track item level changes. For instance, we can't say "Fire this validation only when P1_X or P1_Y are changed"
How would this sort of thing be done? By adding OnChange dynamic actions on all the page items of interest to set a hidden page item, save that to session state and refer to it in the validation's Condition?
Is this the right way to approach this?

Is this the right way to approach this?Not in 4.2 in my opinion. Drop the validation, let the DML process raise the ORA-00001 exception, and use the new error handling features to provide a user-friendly message.

My email acct is no longer valid, trying to change email/apple id, but I'm unable to. Manage id/email will not accept my new gmail acct.

My email acct that is also my apple ID is no longer a valid acct. I have tried to change my email in the "Manage email/apple ID" but it will not accept my current gmail.com address. Any suggestions? I hope if someone has any suggestions that I'll be able to access them, since the email with Apple is no longer valid. As an example, I no longer receive email receipts from iTunes because the email associated with my ID is no longer working. Please help with this dilemma.

What Mac or mobile device are you using, with what operating system?

Is my Adobe CC for photographers license still valid if I change from Windows 32 bit to 64 bit?

I've bought a license for Adobe CC for photographers (costs 10$ a month), and now going to upgrading my operating system from Windows 7 32 bit to 64 bit. I know that there is a 64 bit version for Photoshop, don't know about Bridge. So, is my license still valid if I upgrade, or do I have to buy a new CC program for photographers for the 64 bit version of Photoshop??

Good to know information :
You can install and activate Creative Cloud subscription Apps on 2 computers. (Either on Mac or Windows as per your choice) .
Either it may be 32 bit or 64 bit , it does not matters, the subscription will be counted based of number of activation done as per Machine ID's.
Before , you upgrade the computer to 64 bit, better to Sign out from Creative Cloud desktop application.
If the Machine ID changes just in case , it will be counted as 2'nd activation.

Even though, if you had exceeded Maximum activation limit(Already activated on 2 computers) , still you can reset the activation count to Zero, so that you can again activate CC subscription on any of 2 computers as per your choice.

my client using validity in inforecord, he wants report that shows all the expired inoforecords.
is there any standard report that shows the validity period of the inforecord (expired validity dates)

Want to change length validator message and change field format.

I want to override Length Validator Message as I want to tell the user that phone number
must contain 10 numbers
I've added this validator on the phone field

                               messageDetailNotInRange="66" id="lengthval"/>and this when I enter less than 10 numbers the error message tell that you must enter 10 characters
I want to override this message to be "you must enter 10 numbers"
And I want to make this number format like
XXXX,XXX,XX
How can I make this.

Strictly speaking a number in this format is no number. It's a phone number and you should use a regular expression validator for this.

OWB_DEMO: Validation resets my changes in AGGREGATOR-Operator

After Installation of the samples owbdemo_files on Oracle EE 11g I get the (known) error. In the project OWB_DEMO I get on the MAPPING of LOAD_SALES the error:
VLD-1011: Der Datentyp von OUTGRP1.FINISH_MONTH in AGGREGATOR (NUMERIC) ist nicht mit dem Datentyp von SALES.TIMES_CAL_MONTH_START_DATE in SALES_OUT (DATE) kompatibel.
This is a known problem that occurs after installation.
I' correcting this by
in TO_NUM_EXPR I set
OUTGRP FINISH_MONTH = TO_NUMBER(TO_CHAR( INGRP1.ORDER_FINISHED, 'YYYYMM'),'999999') of type NUMERIC
in AGGREGATOR I change
FINISH_MONTH= last_day(to_date(INGRP1.FINISH_MONTH,'YYYYMM')) and change the type from NUMERIC to DATE
After change I save the project. My changes are saved and can reopen to check - the changes have been accepted and stored
I think this should fix the above error.
Then I validate.
Now I get the same error VLD-1011, and my changes have been reset to the previous state.
OUTGRP FINISH_MONTH = INGRP1.ORDER_FINISHED of type NUMERIC
I don't think this behaviour ist somelike weird and wrong?
What is causing this problem? Please help if possible.

3. Do you have a set of 'scripts' which call the ombplus commands. I am looking for Examples of the use and calling of the ombplus commands, where the examples show common sets of calls, effectively completing a function in OWB. For example,,, as I use the GUI in the OWB Design, I can see that I could also be using the ombPlus commands, to get the same thing done. If I biuld the scripts (or sets of commands), then I can both Use the scripts/commands to get the job done,,, and I can Use the scripts/commands to teach others the main functional calls to work with the OMB. All ideas welcome.

I had a customer case where we got the same user friendly error in the Search Service Application of the Central Administration. When we looked at the ULS we got the following error:
Exception in Query Builder OnLoad: System.ServiceModel.FaultException`1[System.ServiceModel.ExceptionDetail]: Attempted to perform an unauthorized operation.
In our case it was because the user that was launching the Query Builder wasn't Administrator of the Search Service Application. Overhere is an Technet article how you can add an administrator:

User Valid to changed while assigning role to a set of users in SU10

Hi All
I had a task of assigning a role to a set of users in various systems across landscape. I find that some of the users had their valid to date (logon data tab) changed to their last login date. Moreover, in every system; the list of user ids who had this issue of valid to date changed to their last logon date is different. It seems it occurs randomly in various system but out of every 10-11 users 3-4 get affected with this issue. Has anyone faced such an issue before and how could we resolve this issue.

ALE BOM. Updates ALL! items with validity date & change no.

Hi All,
We are having problems where ALE-BOM sent with change in validity date (with change no) to a particular item. What happens is that ALE-BOM will instead update ALL! items with the same validity date and change number.
Next,when we process ALE again for the same BOM with a different validity date(with change no), then only that
particular item is updated with validity date and change no.
Would anyone know what could be the problem that when changes are sent for the first time all items are updated?

Dear:
The error itself telling you the correction. You profit center which is assigned to your cost center has a validity date less than the one you are now assigning.You can check in KE52 against the profit center assigned to your cost center master data. However the best thing is to go to KS01 and create this cost center with desired validity date.
This will resolve your issue.
