Informatica and parameters from the DAC

Hi all
I am having trouble with informatica reading the parameters generated by the DAC. I am using the dac 10.1.4.3.1 and Informatica 8.6.0 on windows sp2 both on the same machine for a POC on supply chain from EBS 11.5. I would like a confirmation of my setup logic or lack thereof...
The DAC InformaticaParameterFileLocation is set to C:\Informatica\PowerCenter8.6.0\server\infa_shared\SrcFiles
The relevant informatica settings are as follows:
*$PMRoot is set to: C:\Informatica\PowerCenter8.6.0\server\infa_shared*
*$ PMSourceFileDir is set to C:\Informatica\PowerCenter8.6.0\server\infa_shared\SrcFiles*
If I run the workflows the parameters such as the inventory category sets are ignored and therefore the parameters at the mapping and workflow level are being used. I have tried specifying the parameter file explicitly using the cmd line to run workflows and in the session logs the parameter file is opened but the default is used as the dac’s values are not being read. I have tried changing the ~lpf setting to ~paramfile for multiline parameters as per the release notes but still no joy.
I have checked the directories for spaces in the file names as per an earlier post but they all seem to be ok now...
As this is a POC under a trial license the question of whether I am able to log an SR for this is still under consideration by Oracle at this stage.... so any ideas would be most welcome....

If the tablespace has been created with EXTENT MANAGEMENT LOCAL UNIFORM or EXTENT MANAGEMENT LOCAL AUTOALLOCATE, you cannot change the NEXT and MAXEXTENTS parameters of segments (tables or indexes) after having created them.
Check the tablespace parameters in DBA_TABLESPACES for the tablespace that index has been created in.
Why do you want to change those parameters anwyay ? Such changes were sometimes used in Tablespaces that are Dictionary Managed -- pre 8i/9i

Do you have a backup of your iPhone which contains these messages?
If so, you can restore a new iPhone from that backup during setup.
If not, the messages are gone.

For a stolen Macbook to appear in iCloud - the person who stole it must turn it on.
You can't track something that's turned off.

From what I can tell this is a bug.
A very Frustrating bug. When the take 2 update launched I was streaming movies via "shared movies" from my synched computer without any issues. However after a couple of recent iTunes updates all the "shared" menus stopped appearing and I can no longer stream anything from my main computer.
When I open up my macbook though everything streams fine, all the "shared" menus immediately appear.
Numerous restarts, factory resets and reinstalling the 2.0 software have done nothing to help this issue.
If anyone has any more light on the subject it'd be great to hear. Also I'm not sure which update broke it because I went about a month not using the apple tv.

I am having trouble in setting up sync AND stream from the same iTunes library.
Config :
Mac OS - Latest update 5/6/09
iTunes - Latest update 5/6/09
Apple TV - Latest update 5/6/09
I am able to either sync OR Stream from my iTunes library but not sync AND stream from the same iTunes library
Let's say i want to sync :
Go to Apple TV > Settings > computer
Add Library (Not shared for Syncing)
Enter passcode in iTunes and select the items to sync
After sync is complete
You can see photo, music & video in My Photos, My Music & My Videos.
Let's say now my Apple TV is full
So like to stream some other content
Now
Go to Apple TV > Settings > computer
Add SHARED Library
Passcode is shown in apple TV but not able to Enter it in iTunes (click to set link is not there next to Apple TV item under devices)
To get that you have to right click the apple tv from the devices and select don't sync.
You will get a message saying that all content in apple TV will get deleted.
If you say yes then only the passcode screen for streaming is presented.
So i am not able to sync AND stream from the same iTunes library.
Any idea?

no... both synced and streamed content show up all together. there is no way to tell what content is synced or streamed when looking at it on the appletv. it is seemless as in there is no difference in how it is presented.
you also need to make sure you are using "custom sync" rather than "automatic sync", as you can't select the "show only synced content" box when using "automatic sync".

Your friend may have placed the ipod next to an object that repeatedly pressed the screen. Under certain circumstances this can lead to what appears to the iTouch to be failed attempts to access the system. After repeated failed attempts, the Touch increases the waiting time required for the password and may ultimately lock in the way you describe.

I tried a different photo, and the corruption took place at the same moment of the video. How do I prepare the video for export to get it ready for youtube? I wasn't sure whether to clik web or web streaming. Am I supposed to clik Quick Time after I clik Share?

I unfortunately cannot remember where I got the 'trrndlines' plugin... I assume that it must have been from CFX (as it is located under /Users/Dom/Library/iMovie/Plug-ins/cfx/XXXtrrndlines.bundle).
As for what it does, I also do not know, as I do not think I ever used it in my previous video projects.
At this stage, I think I just need to uninstall it so that iMovie doesnt try to use it.
Do you know how to uninstall a CFX plugin in iMovie?

Unless you transfer the files from Setup Assistant, Migration Assistant creates a new user with the data.
To transfer the files to your first user, you have to log on this new user, and copy all your files to /Users/Shard folder. This is a folder where you can put the files you want to share between two or more users, and all users can read and write in it.
After copying the files, go to your first user, open /Users/Shared folder, and copy the files to your user folders. If you migrated applications, you must know that they are stored in a common folder (/Applications), so you don't have to transfer them. To open /Users/Shared folder, open Go menu (in the menu bar) > Go to Folder, and type the folder

This has been reported a few time with no definitive cause. It probably is caused by dragging things to iPhoto. Best solution is to load the back up from just before it occurred. Otherwise you neen to use iPhoto to delete them emptying the iPhoto trash every 100 or so
