Informatica - Workflow Logs: How to remove INFO "VAR_27014 [Warning!...

Hi, this is my first post here, so plz excuse any mistakes :)
I'm using Informatica PowerCenter 7.1.4. Every time there is a new workflow log created, for each session, there is set of parameters logged with the name and value pairs.
INFO : TM_6292 : (372964|1) Session task instance [S_SESSION]: VAR_27021 [Parameter file [ConfigFiles/properties.pmf] opened for session [S_SESSION].].
INFO : TM_6292 : (372964|1) Session task instance [S_SESSION]: VAR_27014 [Warning! Found an unused name and value pair [DBConnectionStringStage = /@] in parameter file[ConfigFiles/properties.pmf].].
Is there any option, to switch this logging level off? Or only those kind of messages (VAR_27014)?
Sometimes the values includes some passwords, and our admins have problems with this.
I've tried changing the parameter ErrorSeverityLevel=Error in a pmserver.cfg, but it doesn't affect above INFO messages. I've also changed the same parameter for the repository server - still nothing.
Hope you could give me any solution or a workaround.

Parameter file not found in the location as specified by infa workflow log

Hi,
I am unable to find the Parameter file in the location, /u01/obi/inf_svr/server/infa_shared/Temp/SDE_ORA_APTransactionFact_ExpenseDistribution_Full_vxqbGa, as specified in the Informatica workflow log. But Informatica maps are succeeding without any error. Also Parameter file location specified by DAC is different ie /u01/obi/inf_svr/server/infa_shared/SrcFile and proper parameter file exist in this location. Please someone help clarify what is happening here and how the maps are succeeding with the parameter file as specified in th workflow log.

How to configure the task(Informatica workflow) which contains two sessions in it?
Because I found a recommendation that every workflow should have only one session in it and the session name must be same as that of workflow name. But my requirement is, I have to configure a workflow in DAC which contains two sessions in it.

How to remove info record PO text from the item detail in PO document? the case is like: I have maintained text in info record and text in material master. this time I want to remove the info record PO text from this selective PO document, I want to show only the material PO text. how to delete it for just this selective PO document? next time we may use this info record PO text again.

Dear Pauline,
while creating PO, if you want to remove the info record text, the simplest way is to remove the info record number from that particular line item in PO creation. This will remove all the entries copied from info record.

There is nothing that you can do to get rid of the balance on your own. Contact iTunes Store Support and seek their assistance. I believe that they can reset your balance for you.

Did the user open the document before approving it? How to log this in workflow logs?

My workflow on Document Library needs to keep logs of:
- When a user is assigned the document for approval/rejection, did he actually open it or download it before approving?
How to get this information please in workflow logs please? (I know this information exists in SharePoint Audit logs but that does not work for me - I need this in workflow logs).

How do full and incremental Informatica workflow differ?

I've read that a custom Informatica workflow should have full and incremental versions. I've compared the incremental and full versions of several seeded OBIA workflows, but I cannot find how they differ. For example, when I look at the session objects for each workflow they both have a source filter that limits a date field by LAST_EXTRACT_DATE.
Can someone shed some light on this?

To answer your question, they differ in various ways for various mappings. For most FACT tables which hold high volume transactional data, there may be a SQL override in the FULL session that uses INITIALEXTRACT_DATE and a different override in the INCREMENTAL (does not have Full Suffix) that uses LASTEXTRACT_DATE. For dimension tables, its not always required that you have a different logic for FULL versus incremental.
Also, all FULL sessions (even if they have the same SQL) will have a BULK option turned on in the Session properties that allow a faster load since the table is usually truncated on FULL versus Incremental. As a best practice, for FACTS, it is best to have a FULL versus INCREMENTAL session. For Dimensions, depending on the volume of transactions or the change capture date field available, you may or may not have different logic. If you do a FULL load, however, it is better to use BULK to speed up the load.

I created a Master Data info Object and gave the data type as <b>Char</b> and length as <b>30</b>.
From the source system I am getting the data of length 9. But at PSA level I am getting some erroneous records.
Example: Data from the source system 'a12345678'
Data in PSA 'a12345678b' -

With out changing the length how can I remove the spaces (Blank)?
Can any one suggest me how to remove, where and what to apply ?
I need to do any settings at the info object level or at the Transfer Rule?

Hi there and welcome to the forums!
You can resolve this using the following steps (I've done the same on my Storm for the same reason as you):
Open the phone application, then press the BB Menu button and select Options
Choose Call Logging and then change the call logging options to None.
This will still show an icon for missed calls, but it will remove the call log from your main messages folder.

While using firefox I am using, private browsing and not remembering any passwords.
When I login to Gmail, the login page shows option to type in my gmail id and then password, and at the bottom, it gives the option of checkbox to remember the password next time. NOW, the problem is that, THIS CHECK box is always TICKED (Checked). I don't want it to be checked at all.
So How can I prevent firefox to Offer to save passwords and how to remove the tick checked when I log in to gmail?

Hi Imran_Afzal, if you know that setting the cookie has no effect after you close your private browsing session, is it really worth finding a hack to clear the checkbox?
I believe in order to do that you would need to use an extension or userscript. However, I haven't searched for one.
