Information about currently active calls

Hi,
We have a Cisco3845 router that acts as a VoIP gateway that is, it converts TDM traffic from the Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) into H.323 traffic. My problem is that we would like to know how many calls are going through the gateway and represent this information in diagram format by using Cacti, for example. But I can't seem to find an OID that is responsible for this kind of data. In fact, I have found a few OIDs but SNMP Object Navigator (cisco.com) says that I can't retrieve their entries because they have the status "Permission: not-accessible". If someone knows how to approach this problem or have any suggestions, your help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hello Christian,
This is quite a difficult and complex task. But you can take a look at the sample provided by the open-source music identification system
EchoPrint.

How do we know currently active call time? Whenever we receive or make a call, how can we know the call duration in Nokia 6680?

    Hello!
Just take a look on page 27 of Manual.
Recent calls: Connect -> Log -> Recent calls.
Steps to activate call duration as follows: Connect -> Log -> Options -> Settings -> Show call duration. Select Yes.

  • Storing easy to access information about current user

    Hi everybody!
Does someone know if I could store somewhere an information about the current user and that a could retrieve anytime in a similar way I can retrieve the username of the current user when I do 'select user from dual' ? I would like each new session opened to pass a different information even if it is the same user.
Would the table user_users be a good place to store this information ? Does it store a new record for each session ? If yes, where is it and how could I modify its structure (new column) or its data ? Or maybe I should create a similar table that I would update myself with each new session.
    Thanks,
    Denis.

I dont remember that Oracle keeps the information persistent anywhere of the session after the session is over. If your session is on than the info is in the V$session.
The way around could be that you enable some logon trigger and capture thelogin credentials of all teh users in some table of yours and check it later on.
I would like each new session opened to pass a different information even if it is the same user.
I didnt get this part. Every time the info willbe by default different right? It will be a new session id, serial number all the time.

Well for sure the user_users contains the info of the current users but in NO WAY you shoudl think about tempering this view by yourself as its a part of oracle's own data dictionary. Changing any part of that will leave your database in the unsupported state.
The other option to create a table similar like this of your own will be a good idea. But before that I guess you should reply to Justin's questions what exactly you want to track?

  • Accessing information about currently playing song/media

    Hi everybody,
I am wondering whether it is possible to retrieve Information about whatever is currently playing on the phone. I.e. the title of what's being played and the current position (in seconds).
I would like to develop an app that is able to use these information while anything is being played in the background, no matter if it is a piece of music, stream, video, audiobook, whatever.
Is this possible and if so, how?
    Thanks and
    cheers,
    Christian.

  • Find out information about current network connection

    Hi,
I am looking for a library that helps me find out several things about the current network connection, e.g.
    - am I behind a firewall?
    - latency
    - bandwidth
I know, that the information gathered largely depends on the internet connection of another client or server and may change over time. However, I still need the option to find out... And instead of reinventing the wheel, I asked myself if there was something out there I did not find using search...
    Thank you very much
    Karl

There is no such thing (at least not that I know of) because it is technically almost impossible to do. As you already mentioned you need some other party you can test with for the different factors. There are things like STUN, though, which can help you find your IP address as it appears to other people on the internet.

  • Get information about length of call outside of phone application

Does anyone know if it is possible to get the length of a call outside of the calling application? I know mobile is in a sandbox, but is the call length stored somewhere I could extract the information from.
    thanks

This is not standardized and will probably differ from phone to phone (and manufacturer to manufacturer). See certain device's docs - some might support it via J2ME APIs.
    Cheers!

  • How to get information about connections and calls?

    Hi everyone,
I would like to know if there's a way to get informations like time spent and bytes transfered from connections* and callings made from the cellphone, not just from a midlet application?
    * Any type of connections like WAP, SMS, GPRS.
    tks

As far as getting the time it takes, as i've previously seen responded to this type of problem you can get the time before and after the event that took place and do a subtraction to calculate the time it took.

If within PageFlowController you can use corresponding backing context. However within jsp page, you need to use PresentationContext to get information about current book or page.

  • Gettting information about the processInstance from BPMObject

To have our businesslogic manageable, we decided to make use of BPMObjects to more clearly define separation of concerns. However, we still need to be able to access information about the processInstance from the BPMObject. I am able to get information about the activity that invoked the bpmObject, and i am also able to get hold of the process id and name. But I havent been successful in getting the actual instanceId.
I tried Fuego.Lib.ProcessInstance.id.id, but that will only work from an activity, not a BPMObject.

You can reduce the size to normal, which is about 1GB, by restoring the phone.
Backing Up, updating, and restoring your iPhone and iPod touch software
The size of this part can increase when something goes wrong during a sync, or some files can't be read anymore by iTunes.

  • Information about table calls

    Hi to all,
I can to know the table calls, running transaction ST10, but I need to know, what programs and users are generating those calls.
Can someone give me any help  about how I can get the information about those calls?

    Hi Eduardo,
unfortunately, there is no direct tool available ...
But, you could start an ST05 trace for just one of these tables for ALL users on the appl-server and then track after a few minutes, hours and see ...
This trace only reduces performance a bit ...
