can you tell me what should I do ?
Thanks for any help

I do not think we have any option available.
You can send it to a mail id and from there you can schedule it as BCC.

  • Blind carbon copy in email templates?

    Hello,
how can I use blind carbon copy (bcc) in email templates?
I added the field to the E-Mail Template und modify the waveset.dtd, but this is not enough.
How can I use a BCC to an email template on IDM?
    Thanks

    Good morning.
    This is actually a bug:
Bug 12699 - RFE: add support for BCC recipient to email notification
IDM 8.1.1 will be the first available version to contain the fix.

  • Blind Carbon Copy in Mail 1.3.11

Is the option to send messages to multiple recipients as a blind carbon copy available in Mail version 1.3.11? I'm asking this for my father who has an eMac running Panther 1.3.9. I'm using Tiger and a different version of Mail than his and I've so far been unable to determine if and how.
    Thanks.

    Yes it is available.
You can set the blind carbon copy (Bcc) field to appear by default. With a compose window open, choose View > Bcc Header.

  • RPTARQEMAIL and "blind" carbon copy sending (bcc email)

    Hello everyone,
In our fairly-standard Employee Services and workflow, we use RPTARQEMAIL run as a batch job nightly to bundled up and send email notifications to all Requestors whose leave has been approved that day.
However, when the user receives the email they see ALL of the Requestors for that day appended together in the "To:" field of their email.  They do not want this to happen as they see it as a breach of privacy, particularly if it was personal leave.
The email is sent via standard SAPConnect (SAP Business Workplace) mechanisms, using a Batch user called HRBATCH, and goes from our ECC6 system to our internal MS Exchange server, and thus to the internal users' email box.
We are looking at two options but are unsure of the best way to proceed:
    1. Option 1-- Change the HRBATCH profile to limited it to send email to one recipient at a time, or
    2. Option 2-- Change the way RPTARQEMAIL is calling the email to force it to use BCC: instead of TO:
However...after a length investigation we are not sure how to do this.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated,
    regards,
    Alistair

Folks, forgot to up date this Post to advise that with the assistance of SAP Support this problem was fairly easily solved.  Refer the attached Message extracts:
    Response #1 from SAP
If you make sure that the report RPTARQEMAIL is standard,
I mean that Report was not modified before. You can choose
    radio button 'With All Documents'
In the screen of RPTARQEMAIL to avoide send email together.
In the standard scenario the radio button 'With General Notification'
all the requestors are grouped together for sending the mails.

Thank you ... So - just to confirm - as we run this as a Batch
job with a variant, are you saying that we just need to change the
variant to switch "on" the "With All Documents" radio button for "E-
Mail Text For Requestor", then the requestors will NOT be grouped
    together?
Can you please confirm which field in the Variant this would relate to?
    Response #2 from SAP
you are right. you need to change the variant for requestor.
I have attached screen copy for variant of the RPTARQEMAIL
    for your reference.
By the way, I suggest you to try this variant with test run
firstly. if it can be executed as you expected and then
please run this as a batch job.
    Thanks&Best regards,
Don't think I'm able to attach the 'screen copy' she mentioned, however in text on the Varient it looks like so:
    ==================================================
    Leave Requests - Send E-Mails
    (Exc)( i )
    E-Mail Text for Requester
    [x] Send E-Mail
          With this Text:                  [HR_TIM_ARQ_REQUESTOR     ]
[  ]  With General Notification            [X] With All Documents
      [etc etc]

  • Spam and Blind Carbon Copy  Bcc:

Apparently one of the ways spam is sent and bypasses filter rules is to put fake email addresses in the Cc: header and your real email address in the Bcc: header. I set the rules filter to only accept an email when the To: header or Cc: header has my real email address listed. Apparently, the Mail filter actually reads the Bcc: header as if it is the Cc: header since spam emails addressed to nonsense addresses keep getting through.
Is there a way around this problem. Can apple adjust the Mail filtering system, or do I have to block the Cc: header as well to actually prevent Bcc: addresses from being delivered to me?

I may have a much simpler rule to deal with Spam and Junk mail that you want to try:
If (any) Sender is not in my address book
Move Message to Junk Mail (a folder created on my Mac)
    Stop evaluating rules.
Since these mailers are certainly not in your address book, you only have to give it a quick glance to see if any of these messages could be from somebody you know, and not yet in your address book. Then I delete them all, without looking at them.
Of course this requires you to keep all your known contacts in the address book. It works great for me, just wanted to share this with you.

  • How retrieve addresses who i sent email to using BCC. So Blind i can't see

So I sent out some email, and each to a list in BlindCC frame. Now i wish to find out exactly who did get some of that mail, so i open it from SENT field. And there's nothing in BCC, no addresses. I know they were sent, just can't fig out who. BCC should be blind to others, not so blind to me.
    Thanks for any help,

That's the way it should be. BCC stands for blind carbon copy. The people who receive the email (as TO and CC) are not supposed to see that others received it as BCC. The BCC recipients will see who the email was TO and CC, but not any other BCC.
A good way to use BCC is for sending a mass email without letting each recipient see the other recipients. Address the email back to yourself and put ALL of the recipients on the BCC line. Everyone will get it but not know who else got it.

  • HELP - Is there a Way To Send BCC: (blind) copies in MAIL?

I'm gonna be on TV in a couple weeks and I want to send out a blind carbon copy announcement to my address book, but for some stupid reason that feature isn't available in Apple's Mail Program for OSX, I can only do CC:, carbon copy.
Will I have to try and fiddle with the obviously 'superior' mail program that netscape 4.7 offers under MacOS 9.22? Or is there another alternative to Apple's mail delivery system...
    Inquiring minds want to know...

In the new message composition window, right next to the Account box under the Subject field, there should be a little box with 3 horizontal lines and a down arrow. Click on it to find the Bcc: option.
You can also find the Bcc: option on the View menu.

  • Information Broadcast by E-Mail (Bursting) - Use of Text Variables

    Hello Experts.
This time we have a project to distribute customer data using the Information Broadcast by E-Mail (Bursting).
So far it works with Queries and Web Templates, but the functions to create the text for the mail body are not enough.
The "Text Variables" do not contain information about the content of the Query, for example:
"Dear Ladies and Gentlemen" is not enough for us to post the E-Mail to the customers we have to do it dynamically like "Dear Mr. ".
Furthermore we have to send the E-Mail as a copy to the corresponding account manager and there is no "CC" field while bursting.
Is it possible to "extend" the functionality with u201Cself madeu201D Text Variables or customer exits or anything else?
    Thank You.
    Stefan Müller

    HI,
have you find an answer to your question ? Because we have the same issue, and I wonder if we can create variable or user exit ...
    Thanks for your answer.

  • Problems with sending carbon copy and blind copy with gmail

I recently started using Safari and would like to continue as it is fast. But have problems with it when I use Gmail that I don't have in Firefox or Internet Explorer. For example when I want to forward and email to several people using the blind copy or carbon copy feature - each time I click a name i have to move the cursor back into the box manually because each time you add a name the cursor jumps to the subject line automatically. I forward a lot of email, How can I make using these features work with Safari? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

I would delete the account on the iPod an recreate the account. It is easy to make an error or enter the setting and hard to find the error.

  • Can I update an iMac from another iMac using Carbon Copy Cloner?

I change office locations every 6 months and move to a similar iMac setup. At each move, using external hard drives, I update the "older" iMac HD with the current Mail, Addressbook, work files, etc. Currently, I am using Snow Leopard; the machine I am transitioning to is behind, using Leopard.
This time something new is before me, I purchased (honestly) the Snow Leopard upgrade for the iMac that I am transitioning to. So I have an OS upgrade plus a file plus a lot of application additions/upgrades.
The question is, can I use *Carbon Copy Cloner* to make an image of my current iMac and upgrade the 2nd iMac with all my recent applications in one fell swoop? I would

Yes. Noondaywitch is correct. As long as the version of OSX is no older than the one the newest Mac came with, and the older Mac is compatible (enough RAM, etc), and the drives are formatted properly, you should be able to clone from one Mac to an external HD, then clone that back to the other one.
When you make the clone, boot up from it and run several apps, make sure your internet connection and browser work, etc.
Before cloning back to the other Mac, boot it up from the clone and do the same.
You may have to change a few settings for your internet connection, of course.

  • Sending Carbon Copy using SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1

    Hello,
I am using SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1' to send out email letting people know a direct deposit has been posted to their bank.  My problem is that the Acct department wants a carbon copy sent to their email address for each email that is sent.  Looking at this function, there is a line called
RECEIVERS = IT_RECLIST.  When I take this thru debug, I see IT_RECLIST  defined as TYPE TABLE OF SOMLRECI1.  When I see the fields in IT_RECLIST, there is a field called copy, I assume I set this flag = 'X' to let the function know I want a carbon copy, correct?  Also, I am confused as to where the carbon copy email address would go, because all I see is a field called RECEIVER that is holding the recipients email.  Can you guys set me straight here?

u can't send a carbon copy...instead while sending the email, the same can be sent to 2 or more people at a time. Add the email address to the existing list and it will trigger same email to the department.

  • How can we disassociate an Apple ID from a set of computers formated from a single computer using Carbon Copy Cloner and a single image and then Migration Assistant to install their old profile? The original ID is the Apple ID for all the stores.

Here is a bit more detail.
We were replacing old teacher machines and wanted to do it as efficiently as possible. Therefore, we set up one computer, through the OS installation and ran all updates, and then made a disk image so that we can use Carbon Copy Cloner to image all the other computers without having to run all the other updates. Once they were set up to a base level and assigned to a teacher we used Migration Assistant to import all their old files and items. Everything has been fine until recently the computers became aware of needing an update for one or two apps. The machine asks for the original computer's Apple ID for all updates. We have logged out of the apple id and back in with another to test if running the updates will work with that Apple ID and even after a refresh it still asks for the other Apple ID. How can we disassociate the Apple ID from those other computers so that the individual who owns the original is not needed each time there is an update or has to give out their Apple ID password?

There are two parts to this:
    1) It may be that you should have an Apple Education Support person helping you with this. If you have enough computers for this to be a problem, you may benefit from a Server, a site license, and an occasional visit from an Education Support Specialist.
    2) The brief answer, if you want Individual Apple_IDs to control each computer, is to buy new copies of Mac OS X under those new Apple_IDs and re-download and re-Install. Mac OS X is customized to the Apple_ID before it is downloaded.

  • Can I Use Time Machine With Carbon Copy Cloner?

As of today, I upgraded my iMac (and eventually my Macbook) to Snow Leopard. I used Carbon Copy Cloner to create a clone of my drive to my external (I did a clean install) and now that Snow Leopard is installed, I only want to put back on to my computer just certain files, such as a select selection of my documents, some of my iTunes library, etc. Given that I couldn't find that option in Migration Assistant, I just manually copied over what I wanted from the clone on my external.
Still, I would like to keep a daily backup for my iMac's HD and that's where Time Machine comes in, but there's some questions I have before I do it:
Given that my iMac's HD now has significant free space (as I only brought back, say, 10% of the stuff to my iMac from my external when I cloned on CCC), if I enabled Time Machine to back up my iMac's HD stuff, it wouldn't overwrite the 90% of stuff on my external with the 10% that's on my iMac's HD, would it? For instance, I have about 20,000 songs on my external drive, but maybe have brought back only, say, 5,000 to my iMac (for now). Given that my iMac's iTunes Music folder shows 5,000 songs on it, when TM backs that up to my external drive, it won't overwrite the other iTunes Music folder which has the other 15,000, right? The same thing could be applied for documents, photos, etc. If not, how would TM deal with that? I would hope to avoid the other extreme, which are duplicate files/folders.
I guess I just want to be able to have the ability to get into that cloned drive on my external if I need to add more stuff to the iMac or if I need it one day to boot up the machine. But I also want to be able to have Time Machine at hand to back up daily the little that is on my iMac right now. So I suppose I'm wondering how can I achieve this without the two conflicting or screwing up?
    Thanks!

    MM1010 wrote:

Correct. Time Machine won't delete anything else on the same volume.
But as Barry says, it will use all the empty space available, before it starts deleting its oldest backups, so there will eventually be a conflict. See #3 in Time Machine - Frequently Asked Questions (or use the link in *User Tips* at the top of this forum). Also see #1 there, to be sure you have enough space for Time Machine to keep a reasonable "depth" of backups.
A better bet, however, would be to use a separate external HD. If you have the Time Machine backups on the same physical HD, when it fails (and they all do, sooner or later), you risk losing both.
