Information Disbursements workflow

Hi,
I am currently working for a client who is into Financial Services.
I need help on CML workflows.
Could you kindly tell me if there is a standard SAP workflow (already available) for Loan Disbursements?
If there is a standard workflow, could you kindly give me the workflow number/id for the same. If there is none, I would proceed to create a custom workflow.
I have the same query for RBD too. Whenever a Loan is impaired and an RBD account is created, a workflow is required. I would request the above information for RBD too.

Hi,
When a user uses the request information functionality, the notification can execute a post notification function with a funcmode of QUESTION. When the question is answered, the PNF runs with a funcmode of ANSWER.
Additionally, while the notification is awaiting an answer, the MORE_INFO_ROLE on WF_NOTIFICATIONS will be populated. When the answer has been provided, this is set to null.

Hi All,
What are the why to create Subsitute approvar and what are the necessary information you enter when creating substitute approvar.When Shopping cart will go to substitute approval, what are the settings need for that.If Approvar is on leave and there is no substitute approval, if the requirement is urgen then how Shoping Cart will approve then.

                If you are looking to learn workflow you should be perfect in ABAP reporting, and its good if you know about business object repository ( BOR ) and you should know BAPI's concept and should be capable to analyse the business functionality clearly.
              In SDN if you want any workflow related help please dont post your question in ABAP General forum.

SAP Business Workflow and SAP Netweaver Gateway - Missing extensible elements

Hello,
For a mobile project we use SAP Netweaver Gateway in order to retrieve information from workflows stored into SAP Business Workflow.
We are able to retrieve standard informations for a workflow but custom fields added into "Extensible Elements" section are lost when exit SAP NG.
We have checked the configuration of SAP NG (by 4 differents person) and it seems to be OK.
Do you have an idea why the custom fields are lost during SAP NG processing ?

Huge Problem: How to get Information out of the SAP System into MySQL?

Hi all
Im totally despaired... So im comming here, hoping to find ANY solution.
I wrote a Program, which creates a internal Table wich some information from many DDIC-Tables. The internal Table is about 7 Columns, with only char fields.
Also I have a MySQL Server (reached through the Internet), with a database on it, and a table, which looks 1:1 as my internal Table in ABAP does.
Now I want to append the Data from the internal Table to the MySQL Table.
Is there ANY chance of getting this done?
and btw. can I append this Data with a secured connection?

Think of Orchestrator as a "router", that will route information and workflows between SCOM, and [insert 3rd party product here]. Depending on your 3rd party product, there may be an "integration pack" for it that Orchestrator can use for out of the
box tasks.
So what's an integration pack? Well - think of it like a management pack, but for Orchestrator. SCOM does monitoring, but it doesn't know how to monitor something unless you install the relevant management pack. The management pack contains
all the rules/monitors for monitoring whatever it is you wish to monitor.
Well, an integration pack is similar in concept, except it tells Orchestrator how to interface and integrate with whatever it is you're trying to perform tasks with.
For what you want to do, there is a SCOM integration pack. This is a set of tasks that can get alerts and events out of Operations Manager (there are also tasks that can create and close alerts in Operations Manager).
From what I can imagine - you would want to get alerts out of SCOM when they happen (so you would use one of the SCOM orchestrator tasks to "get alert if status = new, and source = myapplication"), and then you can pass that alert to another task - such
as write it to a CSV file or something. You could then have another task that picks up that CSV file, and passes it to your application where it can be captured. Or you could use the CSV to populate variables in a powershell script, and then powershell
that information into your app.
There are many ways you could do this, but I do believe that Orchestrator would be the better option.

ABAP Objects with Workflows / Classes and Instances

I am currently designing a workflow using an ABAP-Objects. So far I have been been able to get my Workflow to run with my class, but I have a couple of problems:
- I am using the Function 'SAP_WAPI_START_WORKFLOW' to start other subflows, which enables me to decide which subflow to start at runtime. All of the subflows have standart importing-parameters in their containers, such as the key of my class. In each workflow I instantiate my class using a self-written method, which checks the table T_INSTANCES in my object, and then either returns the object reference to an existing instance or creates a new one. Obviously all of the subflows that I call from my main workflow should be able to find the instance. As far as I can see in their protocolls, this happens without any problems. The problem starts when I make changes to the instance. For example the changing of attributes (with setter methods) seems not to work. After the subflows are finished, in my main workflow, I do not see (with getter methods) any changes that has been made to the object. Is local persistence really limited to one workflow ?
- My second problem is basically about the workflow container in workflow protocoll. In the same workflow, I can change the attributes of my object. Nevertheless, the protocoll always show the initial attribute, even though, my task with the getter-method returns the new value of the attribute.

Thank you for your answer. I think we are misunderstanding each other. The problem occurs (I think) because my class is not a singleton class. Or am I mistaken ?
When I directly start a subflow from my main workflow, then the instance that I have created in my main workflow is also visible to the subflow. As well as the static table which actually keeps track of the instances. So, in this case the subflows finds the instance and then can use the object as is.
When I start a subflow from my main workflow using the function I mentioned above, then even though the same object key is used, there is a new instance. And the static table (I assume that you mean a static variable from type table, when you say "class table") is completely empty. In this case, my "new" instance is created which overwrites every attribute that I have set in the main workflow, before I started the subflow. More interestingly, my main workflow instantiates another new object, as soon as the subflow has finished. (I am using an event to wait for the subflow to finish.)
On the other hand, I am not quite sure that I understood your approach with refresh and how it could help me. This method is not well documented anywhere, and all of the examples that I have found are about "leave it empty"
As far as I understood, this method is called by the workflow between the steps, when an object is used. I slowly start to think that I need advanced information about Workflows and Memory Management.

Business workflow - standard SAP Purchase Order Workflow

I'm trying to extract PO header text description. I used call function READ_TEXT, but since this text is wrapped around, how do I display/show this text information at workflow item description. Please advise which forum should I go to see more information? Or advise is there any standard call function available. And for display of text description at workflow item, how to have this text wrapping around, as we always use a standard field with fixed bytes.
For example, if PO text at txn ME23N is showing.

I have the following list of operations that will force quiescence ...
1) Timed Event actions
2) Set Due Date actions
3) Assign Task... actions
4) Send XML to Client actions
5) Event nodes
6) Done nodes
Is there anything that I am missing?
Also if someone can shed some light on the significance of the "Post
External XML Event" viz-a-viz quiescence and transaction boundries. I am
specifically interested in finding out if what happend when the transaction
mode for the "Post External XML Event" is set to "send immediately"... Will
this cause a transaction to end for the sake?

You can specify whether you want the message to be sent immediately, or when the
current transaction containing the Post XML Event action commits. Sending the
message immediately sends the message whether or not the transaction completes.
Sending the message on commit ensures that the message is sent only if the transaction
completes successfully and a commit is issued. If the transaction is unsuccessful
and is rolled back, the message is not sent. The default is when the transaction
commits. For more information on workflow transaction boundaries, see Understanding
the BPM Transaction Model in Programming BPM Client Applications.
Advantage of Post Immediate(immediate)
 Performance improvements in one-way asynchronous requests where an event
may be fired before transaction commits.
Caveats with Post Immediate
 Duplicate Messages: Messages may be redelivered, if request side workflow
transaction was rolled-back and retried.
 Wrong Address in Addressed Response Message: A request is originated
from uncommitted workflow running in a live transactional context, and the transaction
is later rolled-back. In this case, workflow instance will be removed, as it was
never committed, and a response for such request will not find the addressed instance
to be notified.
 No-Instance-Found-Race-Condition: A request is originated from uncommitted
workflow running in a live transactional context, and response comes back before
transaction is committed. In this case, response can’t find uncommitted workflow
instance, and retries for a configurable of times after sleeping for configured
retry interval between all retries. This will reduce the window for race condition
significantly. Improper tuning may still show the problem more often. Tuning can
guarantee robustness only when retry times*retry interval is more than transaction
timeout.
Advantages of Post Commit(when transaction commits)
 No-Instance-Found-Race-Condition is a remote possibility. Cause for all
occurrences of this race condition in “Post Commit” are outside scope of WLI (ORACLE,
for example, sometimes has shown delays between transaction commit, and row being
visible to other transactions).
 No Duplicate Messages
 Wrong Address not possible.
Caveats with Post Commit
 May add a new resource to already running transaction (slowing down 2phase
commit processing).
 Delay in posting the XML event message (only sent when transaction commits).
Which Pattern warrants which delivery mode?
 One-Way Asynchronous (fire and forget)
Ideal for Post-Immediate, but must deal with redelivery issues.
 Two-way asynchronous
Ideal for Post-Commit, for the reasons mentioned above (Post-Immediate may see

IMovie´09 Project with synced photo clips and workflow

Hi,
as I am new to Imovie, I have some difficulties to start with, no real Manual available and so on. Maybe someone can help me out a bit.
I want to sync Pictures to a given music piece which has 120 bpm. I want to change the pictures every four seconds, but I did not figure out, how to adjust the timing of my pictures.
I want to add overblendings for two seconds. These values are added to the duration of the importet picture. I want to have them embedded in the duration of my 4 seconds and so on. If I enter a value in the inspector it does not accept these nor the yellow editing borders really keep the desired value. If there is any good documentation out there it would be fine to have that. It is not a good idea to have those short pieces of online information. Workflow should be explained and so on...

Yes I have had the same problem. Exactly. Not the amount of music or sound or effects I think. I have produced many 2+ hour films loaded with $hit in Imovie 09 with no problems. Until now.
Other projects work fine. I tried creating a duplicate project, it also crashes imovie.
I opened and restarted 10 times, finally looks like I am able to 'share' and export the corrupted project as a .mov or mp4 file.
Hope it works I have many hours invested.

Problem to open VISIO in workflow table

Hi All,
I opened the workflow table by getting by going to view -> select table-> workflow as i was not able to open it in drop down list. Once opening the workflow when I am trying to open the Visio document in workflow field, i cannot open I got the error
"There is no path information for workflow.vsl in registry"
Then I configured the Advanced and Security Tabs of VISIO. The configuration done Advanced tab is Set both Add-Ons and Start-Up to the folder where the MDM VSL is installed in Security Tab *Enabled the Automation Events Check box * and restarted the VISIO to get changes effected.
But still I am not able to open the Visio and get the following error.
*The add-on listed below could not be loaded because the security level is high, and the add-on has not been digitally signed or verified as safe. To enable the add-on, you can either have the add-on signed or change your security level.

"Tools->Trust center->Macro settings" set to "disable all macros with notifications"
and "Trust acces to VBA project object model" should be empty
