how can I transfer information from one ipad to another ?

What kind of information? You can sync things like Contacts and Calendars by using iCloud. You can backup one iPad to iTunes on a computer and then sync the backup to the other iPad. You can configure your iTunes content and sync the same content to both iPads.
It is based on what you want to do. Or are you looking for a way to send files from one iPad to another wirelessly? There are apps to do things like that, as well as cloud services, such as DropBox.

  • Can I use flash drives to transfer data from one MBP to another at a differ

I've looked and cannot find any info on the use of flash drives. Can I use a flash drive to transfer data from one MBP to another one at a different location? (ie; school Apple and home MBP) Grade tests and papers at home, enter data into home computer, then put it on flash drive and carry flash drive to school, transferring data to school desk top? Are certain flash drives preferrable over others, name brands, size, etc?

Yep, you sure can. Just about any drive will work as mentioned above. But I'm partial to SanDisk and PNY. I've used both and they work great! Currently I carry both a 2GB SanDisk Micro Cruzer and a retractable 2GB SanDisk Cruzer, both really nice. Replaced my oldie but goodie 256MB PNY drive that I've been using since they first came out.

  • How can I copy GPS information from one image to another?

I bought a Canon S100 specifically for its GPs and movie capability.  On a recent vacation, I used the S100 and a Nikon D300.  In cases where images were taken with both cameras in approximately the same place, I would like to copy the GPS information from the S100 CR2 files to the D300 NEF files.  Does anyone know how to do this or if there is any plugins that will do it?

The added benefit of using GeoSetter to copy the information from one photo to another, is that you can see where every already-tagged photo is on a Google map to make sure the location is actually correct.  Sometimes the camera clock is off a few seconds or minutes and you can easily figure how what offset to use by watching where the existing photos show on the map.
Using the MS Pro Photo Tools to generate a track from the existing S100 photos and then using that track in GeoSetter to assign the rest, with interpolation enabled, seems like the best course of action if the S100 track information is no longer available.
When using an external program to Geotag images that are already in LR, to be safe you should first save all the metadata to XMP files in the folder you’re going to tag, then exit LR, then geotag the photos, then restart LR and read information from all the XMP files.
Another benefit of GeoSetter is that you can assign the locality information to the photos that already have just coordinates in them.

  • Passing Information from one RS to another RS

How can we pass the information from one RS to another RS?

yes, from EM when I am testing the webservice it is returning the string properly .
In my ESB application I am calling this service thru a SOAP Service and I am using a FileAdapter to capture the result. Now to configure the RS shall i choose 'Generate WSDL from schemas' i.e. the request -reply option or 'Select Existing WSDL option'?I am choosing the first one.Now whn I am defining the rule there is a node mismatch in my source and target during mapping. When I am invoking the RS from EM i am getting some exception that "input is null".

  • Copying IPTC caption information from one file to another

I need some help with jpeg files to run a script or Automator workflow to copy from one picture to another IPTC information (that's the text that makes up the caption, source, date location etc information in jpegs).
I have more than 300 high res pics that need to receive the IPTC (caption) info already typed into medium res versions of the same pics. The pics are all logically named and numbered (picSB_yyyy-mm-dd_med001 and picSB_yyyy-mm-dd_big001, 002 etc).
I already use Automator to bulk change some IPTC fields (location, copyright, credits etc) and have typed up details of who's in the pics etc in the caption field itself). But I can't see the work flow elements I'd need in the palettes on the left side of the Automator screen to copy the IPTC fields to other files.
I think there are two ways I could do this.
    1) Set up an if/then script based on the file names and trailing numbers -
If file in folder named Medium ends in 001, copy IPTC info to file in folder named Big that ends in 001,
Repeat adding one to the value of the trailing number.
    2) Move the files to new folders and have the IPTC info copied from one folder to another -
Move top file from folder Medium into a folder named Medium To Do,
Move the top file from folder Big to Big To Do,
Copy IPTC from file in Medium To Do to file in Big to Do,
Move file from Medium to Do to Medium Done,
Move file from Big To Do to Big done,
    Repeat.
Can anyone advise me if I've missed the required elements in the Automator palette, or if such scripts might be available elsewhere?

Post the code plz so we can have a look...

  • How to pass information from one JSP to another JSP? help please

    hi there
my question is how to pass some information such from one JSP to another one. for exmple, on one page there is a form, and i need to pass some values from the form to another jsp, or some values that were calculated on one JSP and need to be passed to another one. thanks

You can do this in several ways...here is a simple one...
When you call the second page url, use this

on the second page use this:
    String firstPageVariable = request.getParameter("myVariableFromPageOne");

need help trying to transfer my information from one iphone to another

If you are restoring from an icloud backup you are going to have to erase a content and setting and while in the setup prompts you will get the option to restore from an icloud back...that's the only time you will get the option to restore from an icloud back and that's during setup

  • Loading of AWR Information from one DB to another

I have tried to archive AWR from one database to another before retention period kicks in. The awrextract and awrload - all work fine. I am also able to generate reports by providing explicit DB ID and instance number.
Both my source and target DB are in 11.2 running in 64-bit AIX
But when I load the AWR it seems to cleanup existing snapshots from the target database before loading from the dump. Am I missing something here?
    Thanks

  • How can I pass information from one portlet to another?

    First, some background...
I am using Portal 5.0.2 and developing portlets using JSP/Java on a remote server.
I need to pass information from a portlet on pageA to another portlet on pageB, but I can't do it using the traditional methods, such as query string, session, cookies, etc. due to either portal framework limitations or because of functional constraints (basically, a user will not necessarily be logged in to the portal, but he can view anything available to the GUEST user). Here are the different ways I've considered using to save state and their limitations:
Query string: can't use this because portlets on remote servers don't have access to it
Cookies: if user disables cookies, code will not function properly
Session variables: limited to one user's connection with one portlet (i.e., can't access a session variable set in portletA from portletB)
Application variables: because the user may not be logged in, I have no way of uniquely naming variables, which is a necessity in order to maintain state for EACH user
User Settings: again, the user may not be logged in, so I can't use these
PCC: can't access client-side variables because server-side JSP executes first
Are my assumptions above correct? Has anyone had any success using one of these methods given the same constraints, or does anyone have an alternative solution? I'd certainly appreciate any help anyone could provide.
    Thanks,
    Jose

One possibility would be to use a Login PEI to set a unique UserInfo Name/Value for the user. I think in 5.0 each guest session is unique, so would have unique UserInfo. Then you could pass this value to your portlet (by specifying it in the web service) and use it as a key into a Application-scoped hashmap where you store your info. In other words, your Application variables option, but you have a way of uniquely naming your variables via PEI-set UserInfo.

I have an iPod Touch 3G and I'm considering buying a 4G. Is there a way to transfer EVERYTHING from my current iPod to the new one? Thanks!

Yes, when you buy the iPod touch 4th Generation, you can just sync all the information from the iPod touch 3rd Generation to the 4th Generation. I had to do that for my 7 iPod touch 4th Generations on my warranty everytime one of the iPod touches had a problem.
