Information from sales order

Hello,
I have a scenario where i make a sales order on 23.8.08. the delivery date to customer is 01.09.08 and the material availibity date calculated by system  is 28.8.08(01.09.08 less transit time less pick pack time).
when the system does the availibilty check for the material on 23.08.8, it found no stock. yet my system confirms the schedule line for delivery date of 01.09.08.
my questions are :
1) how the system confirms the schdule line for 01.09.2008 if there is no stock on 23.08.08(date of sales order creation). well iam sure the requirment is t/f to production
2)how the information is transferred to production department that material should be ready by 28.08.08.( material availibity date). what if the production department is not able to produce the material by 28.08.08
3) when the production manufactures the material, how it is attached to the sales order
3) what is the relevance of replisnishment lead time in the scenario above. if RLT is zero or if RLT is not zero
4) how mrp run comes in this picture.
5) how the availibility check takes place in deliveries.

When the system does backward scheduling & determines the MAD as 28th. then the material will be available on 28th but not on 23rd.
I hope you know about delivery scheduling. Basing on the transit, pick/pack, loading time it determines the time.
Replineshment lead time is the time which the system needs to make the items available. Along with availability check & does Transfer of Requirements TOR to the MRP team. They will do the production planning. Production time is mainatined in the material master. Basing on the entries made in the material master, system will propose the MAD.
The confirmed delivery date which the system proposes takes into account all these factors.

    Specific information from sales order in MTO process if you want to pass onto the production order then as suggested by expert production memo can be used.
    Follow below steps.
    Select the item in the sales order and  Goto -> Item -> Text as displayed below
      Create a production memo by specifying the language key as displayed below.
    Once you create production order against the sales order - In production order you can see the text maintained. CO02-Menu Bar - Header -Production Memo

  • Map information from Sales Order to Accounting document

    I have a requirement where I need to map the information from the customer material number(VBAP-KDMAT) in the Sales Order to the BSEG-SGTXT field of the accounting document generated for the subsequent billing document billing document created for the sales order. This is an order related billing process.

  • Transfer Partners Information from Sales order to Purhcase Requisition

    Today we create a Ship Direct Purchase Requisition directly from a Sales Order. The Partner information is entered on the Sales Order, however this does not get transfered to the Purchase Requisition. Ideally, we would like one of the Partners that is entered on the Sales Order to be transferred to the fixed vendor on the purchase req. Is this possible, and if so can you help identify how this needs to be set up in configuration?
    If this is not possible, can we transfer the partner to the Requisition and/or PO?

    the purchase requisition does not have any partners.
    Only the address of your ship-to  is flowing into the delivery address.
    And the Sales order number is going to the account assignment.
    SD module does not decide about the vendor, this decision is made by purchasing using their master data like source list , info record , contract or quota arrangement.

  • Retrieve information from sales order at creation - How is it possible ?

    At sales order creation, a print program print a document with some information.
    In this print program I want retrieve some information lilke customer name etc etc ...
    But the table like VBAK/VBAP are empty because I'm in creating ... so do you know some MF that allow to have this information ?

    is useful to have the same information retrieved by MF RV_DOCUMENT_PRINT_VIEW  (found inside standard report RVADOR01)
    But used in my report, nothing is retrieved !!!
    Any idea ?? some include to declare ?

    Go through this IMG path do the required settings
    SPRO>IMG>Material Management>Purchasing>Purchase Requisition-->Texts for Purchase Requisitions.
    -->Define Text Types here you can define the Text type same as sales order Text type for Purchage requesition .
    -->Define Copying Rules -->Here you select the Text type(Newly defined) to which text type you want to copy the sales order text then click on Text Linkage -->New Entries in the New entries screen you enter
    Sequence
    Source Object as Sales order
    Source Text
    Fix as blank -Text automatically adopted in target object
                      Finally save the settings.
    Now you create third party sales order system will copy the sales order text to the Purchase requesition

  • How to release Stock blocked against deleted line items from  Sales order.

    We have Scenario as follows.
    Sales order made for  items available in stock.  Deleted few lineitems from sales order balance items delivered and invoiced. Sales cycle is complete in all sense.
    What we have noticed is when we are creating new sales order / Delivery for deleted items from above Sales order it shows deleted quantity is blocked against old sales order. These line items are no longer
    available in old sales order since it is deleted also it is not appearing in open sales order report (VA05).
    Overall stock available is same as quantity mentioned in deleted line item.
    In MD04 - Sales requirenment transaction it shows sales order / line item against which it is blocked.
                    i.e deleted line item.
    How to release these stock and make available for sales. Any standard process available ? or any other solutions

    I got a solution for my question from other forum. for info
    Go to SE38 and enter program SDRQCR21 then execute...
    Enter line item which is blocked for sales order in MD04 and enter plant then check Data
    transfer box and uncheck other boxes... It will pop up information and click yes...
    You will get one report and Stock inconsistency will go off and then check it in MD04....

  • BAPI or FM to create outbound delivery from Sales order

    Hello All,
    My requirement is to create a outbound delivery from sales order. Also i need the batch number and texts to be updated in the delivery.
    For this i need a single FM. The catch is that we don't have the batch number and texts in the sales order. That i have to take from some other delivery. I can get all the information .
    The problem is that i can not find a FM through which i can create the delivery from the order and update the same.
    I should not use two FM.
    Could you please tell me some FM which does both in one go?

  • Back-to-Back PO from Sales Order

    On Sap B1 2005 when we made a Back-to-Back PO's from Sales Orders the Sales Order information stayed on the screen in the background and was very handy when doing a multiple line items as we put the list prices on non-printable text lines for future reference.
    Now with 2007 the sales order information disappears and the only way to keep the information on the screen is to save the order without ticking the PO check box, then re-open it and then tick the PO check box.
    Why would SAP do this?

  • No revenue update from sales order

    Hi
    I have created SO with account assignment for a WBS billing element. In config I have make the indicator on for revenue value should automatically  update from sales order.
    But neither the revenue from sales order is updating in any of my PS report nor the actual revenue too after billing cycle.
    Does it need some more customisation checking.Cannot find any solution from earlier similar threads.

    To analyze the error, proceed as follows:
    1. Is an account displayed in the sales and distribution document in the condition detail screen (for example, condition PR00) ? Is there a cost element in this account and are you allowed to post sales revenue to it? (cost element category) If the answer is yes, then proceed to 5. If no, then proceed to 2.
    2. Check the relevancy for billing of the sales and distribution document item in Customizing (-> Sales and distribution -> Sales -> Sales documents -> Sales document item -> Define item types).  If 'Not relevant for billing' is entered, correct this.  This will probably clear the error. If 'I' (according to billing plan) is entered, the system only updates sales revenues if billing plan dates exist in the sales document.
    3. Check in Customizing that a billing type is assigned to your sales document type (-> Sales and distribution -> Sales -> Sales documents -> Sales document header -> Define sales document types). The billing type can be found in the 'Billing document' block. The relevant billing type depends on the defined relevancy for billing (see point 2). If no billing type is entered, enter one.  This will probably clear the error.
    4. Check in Customizing that an account determination procedure is assigned to the billing type determined in step 3 (-> Sales and distribution -> Billing -> Billing documents -> Define billing types). If no account determination procedure is entered, enter one. This will probably clear the error. If an account determination procedure has already been assigned, the error is probably caused by an incorrect structure of this plan. Check the plan.
    5. You will probably not be able to correct this error yourself. However, you can provide some information beforehand. Enter parameter MCL in your user master record and valuate it with 'X' (upper case) (-> System -> User profile -> User parameters). You activate an user-specific TRACE function this way.
    6. Change, for example, the pricing date or item value in the quotation or sales order and save the change.
    7. Execute Transaction MC30 for your user ID (/NMC30). You now see a list of all data structures that were set up for the Logistics Information System (LIS) in step 6. Check whether structure S008 is contained in this list. This information is required to further analyze the error.
    8. If structure S008 is contained in the MC30 log, call Transaction SA38, program name RKPSSHOW, -> Execute (F8), enter the number of the affected sales and distribution document and press -> Execute (F8) again. The output list (or the fact that no list is generated) is also needed for analysing the error further.

  • Information during sales order creation in GATP

    Hi,
    While creating sales order, ATP is getting triggered in APO.
    A function module is called in a BADI on APO side which requires profit center data from sales order line item. In case of ATP check in change mode of sales order, this information is available in /SAPAPO/SD_DOC in APO as the sales order number reference is there.
    How this information (profit center) can be fetched in case of creation of sales order?

    We are able to fetch profit center using BAdI   APO_BAPI_BUS10400.
    Actually we wanted the information during ATP check where we have used some other BADI.

    we know, as per standard SAP ,  creation of PR from Sales order happens when we save SO. how to create PO automatically from sales order? and where where to put document type for  that PO ? ( in schedule line category we can set document type for PR)

    In addition to what Kapil suggested,
    3 - The Outline Agreement or Purchasing Info Record shall be maintained which will allow the automatic copying of unit price and other conditions into PO and
    4 - The Source List shall be maintained for the nominated vendor which was shown in either the Outline Agreement or Purchasing Info Record.
    By activating those config you can automatic create PO from PR.
    For that use TCode ME59 to automatically convert the current PR into PO.
    But, you can not automatically generate PO from sales order similar to that of PR.
