i am very new to BW i got an oppurtunity to work on reporting that to on varibles so can body tell me why we should replacement pat?
in what we can use this one?

replacement is type of variable which you create to access the value of any characteristic as well as key figure at the runtime of the query.
Used mainly in case of formula variables to use the values of the char as key figure and for calculation.
Similary can be used to access output of a query to input of another query.

I want to be able to fill out the form and it place itself into Sheet 1 without changing everytime. I can index the array from the form, but it changes everytime.

You think it would be the other way around.
Just speculation, but forms probably came to iOS first because of likely use for data entry in the field that syncs back to the Mac. On a small screen with a touch interface, forms make inputing values easier.
On the Mac, with its bigger screen, typing directly into a data table often works well enough.

When i try to view the print preview for a perticular doc type, system is giving the error as "No archive information found for object type and document type"
Diagnosis
    No information was found about optical archiving. This may be due to
    either of the following reasons:
    1. No valid archiving parameters were passed
    2. Your system is not configured for optical archiving

Hello,
You are trying to Print & also archive by selecting the option Print & Archive.
You have to do archivelink configurations and then create document type and assign to the object type with content repository with archivelink table.
If you want to archive the spool or output then you have to use object type as DRAW. If you are archiving invoice document or letters or so on then you have to know the object type/Business object of the transaction.
Please note that for archivelink configuration, attachment will be either stored in archive server or in SAP database table based on business requirement.
Hope this will give you some understanding on archiving area.

I am in the process of doing a test upgrade of Oracle E-business 11.0.3 with Oracle 8.0.6 to Oracle E-business 11.5.10.2 with Oracle 9.2.0.
I am following the upgrade manual:

I have already upgraded the database from 8.0.6 to 9.2.0 using the Oracle database migration utility at the appropriate point in the instructions.
After upgrading the database to 9.2.0 as stated in this manual, one of the of the next Oracle Application pre-upgrade tasks is to execute a script called addb920_nt.sql which in turn executes catalog.sql and catproc.sql. I am seeing these errors when catproc.sql is executed.
I have logged an Oracle Support SR and am awaiting a response, but wanted to know if anyone had seen similar issues.

I am getting the error :

Well you could move to 11g but I'd suggest a less drastic measure for now. Save the data, drop the table, reload the table.
But give serious consideration to Tom Kyte's advice about object tables: Don't use them. Instead use relational tables and object views.

despite the workaround, it doesn't fix the real problem. It shouldn't be a huge deal for adobe to add support for multiple svn versions. Dreamweaver is the first tool i've used that works with svn that doesn't support several types of svn meta data. If they're going to claim that Dreamweaver supports svn is should actually support svn, the current version, not a version several years old. This should have been among the first patches released, or at least after snow leopard came out (and packaged with it the current version of svn).

They have to be taken from a keyboard for that model and there is no place generally to order individual keys. If you have more than one broken key it is best to just order a new keyboard. If you let us know the color and language of the keyboard we can set you up with a place to order it and installation instructions. It is pretty easy and not expensive.

According to your post, my understanding is that you got an error when tried to return the information from the external content.
Did the error occur when you created a new external content type or created a external list?

How read read the recepient information from a output type ?

Hi all,
There is one output type which has been configured for the APPLICATION V2 which will be triggerred for sending emails . In the communication we maintain the recepient address whether a distribution list or an external email id.
Can anybody tell me any FM (Function Module) or BADI thought which i can get all the recepients
address depending upon the output application type and sending type as 7 ie SAPOFFICE .

You do not need to start adding manual information into your iCloud account settings. If you feel the settings are incorrect for any reason, you should delete your account and add it back and let it set itself up.

Shell Scripting to replace file type

Hey all,
I'm having some trouble with a shell script. I'm trying to run a script that will look through all the folders in a given directory for a certain type of file (.data) and then will run a getfileinfo -t on the .data file and, if the type is "" (empty), replace it with a given string.
So far I can get the command to look through directories and I can get it to echo the getfileinfo -t, but I can't put the result of the command into a variable so I can check to see if it meets the "" condition. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Also, I am doing this in CSH, but I am no opposed to doing it another way, just so long as it works.

   I really like Niel's solution but it can be done in a script without AppleScript if you have Apple's Developer Tools installed. I don't do csh so I'll give it to you in bash and leave it as an exercise to translate:

This temporarily sets the Input Field Separator, IFS, to a newline so that the snippet can handle filenames containing spaces. If you copy-and-paste this into a script, be sure to replace the non-breaking spaces I've used for indention with real spaces.
