Information on E-Signature in SAP

Hi,
I haven't seen any content on e-signatures used in SAP Pharmaceuticals. It would be great if we can find it here in SDN.
Cheers!
Anand

Hi Anand,
Finally a post that fits into this forum. I was getting tired of moving threads to their final home.
Sorry that I can't help you, but may be someone else picks up your request and creates some content for double points.
If you have such content. Post it as article, code sample or Weblog and link to it via a post to this thread.
If Anand gives you points for solving the problem, I will make sure that you get double points for your original content.
Hope this reintroduces the original goal of this forum.
All the best, Mark.

  • Digital Signature for SAP Script

    Hi ABAP Gurus!
Is it possible to implement the Digital signature in SAP Script.

Any one implement succesfully digital signature in SAP Script.
Your suggestion and guildlines will be apprecaited.
    Thanks!

    Hi Reddy,
What I did was a image signature. Scan the signature into a image file, upload it to system via transaction code SE78.
Call the image to be printed on your form with the below code
BITMAP 'ZMY_SIGNATURE' OBJECT GRAPHICS ID BMAP TYPE BMON
    Is this applicable to you?

  • Digital Signature in SAP DMS

    Hello,
We want to implement digital signatures in SAP DMS, but we're not sure on how to accomplish it. We have the following scenario:
    1. All the users have a digital certificate which is part of the Portuguese ID card;
    2. Currently we're all using this certificate to digitally sign e-mails (they use their laptops integrated card reader), for example;
    3. We also want to use this certificate to sign DMS documents.
Do you think the above mentioned scenario is possible without licensing additional software? If so, can you guide me through the customization steps?
    Thanks in advance.
    Kind regards,
    Ricardo

    Hi Ricardo,
It is quite possible to achieve your requirements using the digital signature strategy available in SAP DMS. I have previoulsy answered the steps involved [here|Digital Signature on Original File; and you may additionally look up [Wiki|http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/PLM/Digitalsignaturein+DMS] and [SAP Help|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_470/helpdata/en/9f/857f3a1c7b11d294d200a0c92f024a/frameset.htm] as well.
In your case, more specifically, you need to adopt the signature method during customization as 'User signature with external security product with/without verification' for which your I-Card reader would also be required.

  • Configuration information is only available in SAP Solution Manager.

Configuration information is only available in SAP Solution Manager.
    I always read about this.
But how find it in the sol man system actually?
    Thanks very much.

    Hi
do you mean IMG configuration of ABAP scenarios?
when you create the project in solution manager you can see all its configuration information on the tabs(TA Solar_project_Admin)
for the ABAP scenarios, executable configuration files (IMGs) are available. SAP Solution Manager has the capability of executing the ABAP scenarios IMG files during the configuration and management of the system landscape(TA Solar02)
I could suggest please go the link service.sap.com/solutionmanager.for needed informantion

  • The Backflush information is not uploaded in SAP platform

    Hi all,
I am unable to interprit the sentence "The Backflush information is not uploaded in SAP platform". can anybody explain me what is that and how to achieve that.
    Thanks,
    Amar Y.

So I guess these are the words from the users.. am i right.. I gues its something relevant to backflushing..
Like Quantity of consumption through backflushing etc.. If you want such info just get back ..
I think the users are not aware of the information regarding backflushing or the backflushing data like ( Backflush indicator in MRP views are not yet updated or specified for the materials)

  • Information Broadcasting according to the SAP factory calendar

Is it possible to circulate BW reports via the Information Broadcaster according to the SAP factory calendar?
It is our objective to circulate reports according to working days (not calendar dates).  Eg, to circulate cost centre reports on the 4th working day.
    Regards,
    Frederick
    PS - we use BI7

    As suggested above, you may need to create a new calender in SCAL. Points to be kept in mind during the creation of calender are;
    1. Use special rules to create fourth working day every month
    2. Keep in mind regarding the holidays.
    3. You may need to validate this calender in future as you do not know the future holidays.
    Option 1: Via Process chain
Create a separate/new process chain which updates the Infocube/ODS on which the report exists -> At the end of process chain, create a new process "Trigger event data change(for broadcaster) -> In the scheduling options of the process chain, use the newly created calender and schedule the chain -> In the Bex broadcaster wizard, select option "Execution with Data Change of Infoprovider".
    For more help, refer the below;
    http://www.tli-usa.com/download/Taking_Charge_of_Information_Broadcasting_in_BI_7[1].0_for_improved_report_and_data_distribution.pdf
    Option 2: Via background Job
Create a new Job in SM36.  In the scheduling options of the Job, use the newly created calender in restrictions. Create a new step for ABAP program RSRD_BROADCAST_FOR_TIMEPOINT and schedule the Job.
If user has authorizations then, Time Point defined by the Job will be visible in the Bex broadcaster wizard.
Refer the above link for more information.
    Hope this helps,
    Regards,
    Sunil

  • Passing information from an iView to SAP - ESS Related

    Hi,
How do you pass information from an iView to SAP?
For example, in my task the User will log into ESS.
Then they will click on the iView link and be prompted with a dialog for their service number (how is that done)?
Now, on SAP's side (backend), I need to take that service number and their user id and pass it to the transaction.
For the service number, I will have to add leading zero's.
    How is this done?
What is the ESS cookbook and does anyone have it?
    Thanks,
    John

Thank you for the response - it gives me a better idea of how this system works.
But how would you modify the information that is being passed? Would it be passed to a structure, which can be accessed from within SAP? For example, the medical service number would be entered as 15. It would be stored and then my program would extract that number, add leading zero's and call the relevant transaction.
    Please help.

  • Digital signatures in SAP

Any idea whether electronic signatures are supported in SAP and if yes what types of signature, what standards are used, whether they are legally accepted and whether it is part of the package or a separate application.
whether the processes can support multiple signatures at multiple stages, signifying different levels of approval? how electronic signatures are recorded and retained and how the process or document remains fixed once signed. Any inputs on this would be helpful

    Hi,
yes digital signatures are possible. You can search SDn for a lot of options. One such is:

  • Digital signatures on SAP

Is there a way that digital signatures can be uploaded on SAP and that it can be encrypted so that it cannot be copied by anyone.

    Thanks Garry,
I will surely wait for your further reply to get me the process of your 'open password' method. Can you help me in providing any link for guidance on compliance of SAP B1 with FDR 21 CFR part 11. I found some documents on sdn but they are for mySAP ERP and different modules of R/3. I didn't find any guide on B1 compliance with CFR part11.
Any reply from all users regarding my question is highly appreciated.

  • Digital signature in SAP Records Management (SAP Netweaver Folders Manager)

    Hi experts,
I have a record with various documents and I want to implement digital signature in documents (Transaction: ORGANIZER). I read in IPS640 SAP Manual that there are a button (key symbol) to do this but I don't have this button. Can you explain me how to implement this?
A lot of thanks in advance.
    Regards,

    Hi JV,
You need to define the repository in OAC0 transaction. As per my analysis now your document are stored in sap database.
If you are using separate serever then confuigure as follows in OAC0:
Document area : SAP Records Management
    Storgae type : RFC Archive
define IP address and port. Then goto CSADMIN and activate the certificate for the same.
or if using SAP Database then make the changes in above areas.
Then these archived documents will get saved in content server instead of sap database.
    Hope this will help.

  • Need Information about templates provided by SAP to Lumira

    Hi,
I would like to know if SAP provides any templates or pre built models (like BI content) that can be readily used by SAP lumira. If so, I need details about those models or templates or any related information.
    Thanks

    Hi,
If i'm not mistaken, you asked the same question via the support inbox?  To re-iterate again:
At time of writing there is no ‘pre-built’ business content within Lumira.
This is because it is positioned as being a ‘free form’ self-service data-discovery & visualisation
tool, so “time to value” is very quick, and authored content can often be perceived as ‘scratch and burn’ . (apart from published/shared infographic stories)
Yes, there are some samples in-built into the application for evaluation purposes.
And the Cloud/Server solutions also have “Did you Know” and “Auto Discovery”
features which generate visual content ‘on the fly’.
Finally, there are some ‘Rapid Deployment Solutions’ (which are bundled ERP solutions for specific market industries), and I believe they do deliver some templates for content, but it would be specific to that enterprise license.
