    Hi Balaji
I will suggest you few checklist :
    1. See permissions in the security sub-directory.If its wrong  it will be impossible for the Java Runtime to read the
    security policy files.
    2. temp directory not set.setting in enviroment variable
    3. http://hostname:4239/ua/uagui.jnlp .try opening with this URL
4 Could you please check the proxy settings for your Java Webstart? It should be configured in a way that either mentioned host is contained in the list of
hosts which are not connected via proxy or usage of proxies is switched
    off completely.
Let me know about the same.

    Hi,
I contacted SAP and they provide me a solution.
It can be solved by deleted these two files : Ks and UAstate in \usr\sap\put\ua directory. After that, restart UaServer and provide a new password.
I'm now confronted to a new problem.
After giving to system the new admin password, i'm getting this error message from UA..

  • 3.1i technical upgrade to NW2004s

Please could somebody put me out of my misery.  I have ben told by a colleague that its now possible to perform a technical upgrade from 3.1i directly to NW2004s.
However, in the Upgrade Master guide for 2004s it says the lowest source release is 4.6D.  But then the "Additional Information" notes for Oracle (819655) & and SQL server (825146) do talk about a source release of 3.1i.
So just to be clear my question is:  Can I upgrade from 3.1i straight to NW2004s.
Please could someone clear this up for me.
    Regards
    Pete

You can upgrade your 3.1i system, but the target version is not NW2004s but ERP 6.0 (formerly known as ERP 2005). Ok, of course NW2004s is the technology platform behind ERP 6.0; your final product after the upgrade is ERP 6.0.
So, this is the reason master guide tells you initial version to upgrade to NW2004s is 4.6D: 4.6D is the first version where you can 'separate' basis from application component; 4.6D is not R/3 but SAP Basis; if you want to upgrade your R/3 you must go towards ERP, not Netweaver; but when we talk about technology stuff; we talk about Netweaver.
    Hope it clarifies...
    Regards,
    Fermín.

  • Is Solution Manger mandatory for upgrade to NW2004s ?

Is solution Manger mandatory for upgrade to NW2004S ?
    Thanks,
    BP.

SAP will not provide solman key. However it will provide a solution manager free for ERP software. The first system that should be installed is solman in the landscape. By making solman mandatory SAP wants to regulate the irregularities in the annual fees payment by the customers. It want their customers to habituate to this software, so it provided some of the usefull concepts in solman i.e central administration of all systems in the landscape, preparation of implementation projects using ASAP methodology, maintaining service level agreement reports, provides service desk option(ticketing tool), early watch alerts etc.
So upgrade to NW2004s it is mandatory that you have solman installed.
Please correct me if I am wrong.

I created two iTunes accounts:  one for business purchases and one for personal.  However, when I try to purchase an iBook on my personal account only the business account information appears, and my business password is requested.  How can I select a different account depending on the type of purchase I am making?

You would have to sign out of the store with that AppleID and sign in with the alternate AppleID.
Settings -> iTunes & App Stores -> tap the Apple ID showing, logout, then login.
Beware thought that you can only change a device's AppleID association once every 90 days.
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4627
So if you do this, you will not be able to use the other AppleID on that device for 90 days.

  • Certain transactions re-compile everyday after upgrade to NW2004S

    Hi,
We recently upgraded to NW2004S from 4.6C. I have users telling me that certain transactions re-compile every morning, notably IB12, IW37, 40 and 41 amongst others.
Has anybody else seen this happen?
I have checked the programs that are behind these transactions and they are active, yet still the transactions compile.
I am also wondering whether this is gui related.
We are using 6.40 patch level 21.
    Any pointers are welcome.
    Thanks

    HI
Please execute the sgen with the option "Regenerate Existing Loads"
This task allows you to regenerate all ABAP loads and invalidated loads that exist in your system, and to generate loads for objects of a Support Package queue. The following options are available to you:
Generate all Objects with Existing Load
Only Generate Objects with Invalidated Load
The load of an object becomes invalidated if changes have been made to the object or to the objects used by this object, since the moment the load was generated. Examples of such objects are includes and tables. This may occur by importing a Support Package ( SPAM) or a kernel patch.
If you want to generate loads for objects of a Support Package queue, start the task after importing the queue. The task determines the generation set using the invalidated loads in the system. In contrast with the Generate objects of a transport request task, this task also takes into account ABAP loads that were invalidated by modified Dictionary objects.
After choosing this task, a screen appears which allows you to search for the name of the transport request using the selection button, or to specify it directly.

  • HT5625 Here's my story: I "signed out" of my account on my IPAD. Then I DID NOT hit "create a new ID" - I simply filled in the top information with new email and password (the ipads new owner) - this got all set up but now when it wants to update anything

I gave my second IPAD to a friend.
I also recently changed the email associated with my own account
because I will be moving and will be unable to use that address much longer...
now I am not yet sure I can update my own apps (will it ask for old email and password?)
on the given IPAD - with the new Apple ID and password it is asking for
my present but soon to be disabled email with password - but it does not
recognize the password (i dont think it will recognize it when i upgrade as well!)
    QUESTION
How do I straighten this mess out to be able to update all future apps on two
iphones and two ipads each having one different their separate Apple IDs?
and how can I get it to recognize the password that was at one time associated
    with that email address
    WSD

Apps are forever tied to the Apple ID under which they were purchased. If your friend wants to be able to manage apps on their device using their own Apple ID, they will need to delete all the apps purchased using your Apple ID and buy their own.
Hopefully, you just updated your own Apple ID with the new email and didn't make the mistake of creating a new Apple ID. If you created a new ID, stop using it now, don't buy anything using it and go back and update the ID under which you purchased your apps.
