Infoset error in BI7

Hi all,
Iam trying 2 load 2 incoubes in bi7 .but evary thing showing sucessfull .but when iam going to see display data . showing the error
     Error reading the data of InfoProvider ISET_KK
     Error when generating the SQL statement
     POS(373) Invalid keyword or missing delimiter

And what is the infoset error????
Are you having an infoset on these two cubes, where you are getting this error? If yes, please go to infoset and check your Join Condition. The Components of infoset should be joined on some key values, then only display the data.

The error which we are facing is as follows,
Start of the after-import method RS_RSPC_AFTER_IMPORT for object type(s) RSPC (Activation Mode)
Version 'M' of chain LAP_ROM_CS_LOAD_DAILY was saved without checking

I think that if you expand the transport/import log further there will be a more detailed error message. Can you
check this? If yes can you let us know what the error message text and error code is? It might be the case that
the note 659160 is relevant for the problem.

No authorization error in BI7

Recently we had migrated to the new authorization concept in BI7 after that, when the business users open an query or workbook they get the selection screen and when they press F4 on company code info object (Authorization relevant object) to select values they get an message" you dont have sufficient authorization" and the out put does not get displayed. but as an BW developer i am able to open the same report without any error
I checked in for authorizations in Su01 and su53 every thing looks fine for the business user.
Note: This error occurs only to queries having infoobject company code
Can someone help me out in this issue?

Hi sheetal,
I am facing the same problem what you have faced regarding authorization error in BI queries.
when users try to open the workbook, select their options in selection screen and run it, they get warning 'you do not have sufficient authorizations'. when i try to run the same, i am able to open it. this is happening in prod.
how are you able to solve this problem.

FORMULA VARIABLE ERROR IN BI7

Now we are facing problem when we copy the Formula key figure and paste in the Column row of the Query designer.
but when we create new formula key figure there is no such error for the same.
Cut/paste is to fasten the query desing ................!

0HR_PA_EC_11 ECM InfoSource activation error in BI7

Hi Gurus,
I'm having error during 0HR_PA_EC_11 infosource activation. The error is "Field SALLVMAX of type CURR requires a reference field of type CUKY" while activating after I installed it from standard BI content.
And some error details:
/BIC/CS0HR_PA_EC_11-SALLVMAX (combination reference table/field /BIC/CS0HR_PA_EC_11-/BIC/ANCUR does not exist)
This is for ECM HR mod btw.
Is there any step did i miss out.
Appreciate any assistant.

the reference one CUKY is available in AWB?
If you are using BI7 then why do you need infosource,you replicate data source then install transformations and datatarget etc.
In BI7,you dont need infosource concept.

hi dear experts if we get time stap error in bw 3.5 i know how t o resolve for this we got se38 and we give a program RS_TRANSTRUE_ACTIVATE _ALL .But in bi 7 how to handle is there any program plz clarify this problem.

we can replicate the datasource from source system and then try by actuvating the data source by using the program RSDS_DATASOURCE_ACTIVATE_ALL.
Then we can try by reloading the data. i fell this will solves the issue in BI7

we have created 1 start process and then execute info packages and DTP'S and used 'OR' conditions to connect to Attribute change run.
while i try to save my process chain its giving warning that 'Add at least one process to the chain before saving' and when i try to activate the chain its giving below error

The process chain has no start-process. A process chain always requires exactly one general starter.
System Response
The system is unable to activate the process chain.
Procedure
Add a general starter to the chain, and schedule it as the first process in the chain.

Will you please goto process chain start varint and give the new varint for that and try to execute it once again..it will work for you...
If you could check once the check button all will be green and you can able to activate the process chain...I hope you are maintained the infoobjects in attr bute change run...problem might be with the start varint ionly...change the start varint and if you could not able to activate please let me know....

Process chain error in BI7.0

Im trying to load the data from the flat file to DataStoreobject in BI 7.0 by using the process chain .
I build the process chain like below
start process -> infopackag -> DataTransferProcess -> ODS activation data.
Then i chek the process chain . then it is ok .
Then i activate the process chain and then i schedule the process chain .
Then it gives 'job higher priority A' , 'Job higher priority B' , 'Standard Priority C' . Then i select the 'Standard priority C'.
Then im getting the following error saying that
<b>Job BI_PROCESS_DTP_LOAD could not be scheduled. Termination with returncode 8</b>
Then i looked into ST22 . i got the following error <b>MESSAGE_TYPE_X</b>
Please give me the solution.

For this error return code 8 go to T-code SU 01 in that select copy icon then give copy from sapuser to ALEREMOTE
. eventhough it will occurs go to SU01 copy from ALEREMOTE then in that give profiles ok if its ok give to me points

You could try applying OSS note 1117474. You may want to review this note to see whether it fts your case..

Time Stamp Error while extracting data from R/3

We are getting time stamp error while extracting data from R/3.
To solve this problem we did replication and run RS_TRANSTRU_ACTIVATE_ALL program. still we are facing same problem.

Hi,
Time stamp error arises when the time stamp of the data source in source system and target system are different.
For we have again activate data source in R/3 system using transaction RSA5 or RSA6 and in BI system goto transaction RSDS and replicate the data source.
You can also find time stamp details for a data source in tables ROOSGEN and ROOSOURCE tables in BI and R/3 system respectively.

BI7 BEx Analyser problem

Hi,
I am working on BI7. I have problem that I cannot open BI7 BEx Analyser, however I can open 3.X Analyser. On clickin for BI7 Analyser It say that 'Critical programm erroe occured, The programm needs to close, Please refer to the trace for further information'.
My question is, if I can open 3.X anayser, why I am getting error for BI7 Analyser.
Can some one please guide me resolve this issue.

Uninstall BI. and then do the following

From what you are saying, i am guessing there could be difference in field types used and in dictionary.
Try this.
1.Go to SQ02
2.Change query area (Standard / Global) in Environment --> Query areas depending on where your infoset is.
3. Select your Infoset.
4. Goto --> More functions --> Check and generate / consistency check --> Adjust.
or Try this.
1. Select your infoset.
2. Change
3. Goto --> Global properties --> see if "no automatic text recognition" is checked in options tab.
If you still having problems, give me more detail on how have you joined tables, have you used any extra fields, or have you done any coding in Infoset, I may be able to help you.

I am trying to copy queries from Infoset to DSO in BI 7.0.
Message displayed after entering the data target names in Source Infocube (Infoset) & Target Infocube (DSO).
: Errors when reading InfoObjects for InfoCube (Infoset).
My Infoset has 2 queries.
I need to copy only one query to the DSO which is part of the infoset. How can we achieve this.

who said the target is different.
The target is different in the sense, source is an Infoset & Target is an DSO.
This DSO is a part of the above Infoset.
RSZC works here but its giving errors as mentioned above.
Regenerate in the sense, u mean i need to create the same again on DSO.
Is there any other way.
If providing some solution, let it be clear.
