Infoset - Keyfigure problem

A BEx report is generated on Infoset
having Booking ODS, Revenue ODS , Custom date Infoobject and CUstomer master InfoObject.
The problem with the report is it is having Keyfigure duplicity.
The sales order items with materials having ) key figure value are getting suppressed automatically, but in RSRT they are showing up.
I checked forums have tried the solution from blogs

I created ZREFOBJ getting data from Revenue ODS and used exception aggregation(for Net Revenue Key Figure) with reference characteristic ZREFCHAR.
But this did not solve the problem.
Any other solution?

Symptom
Queries are defined and executed on an InfoSet. Different values may be issued for the same key figures in the case of identical characteristic combinations in different queries and, as a result, totals may also differ

Hello,
I have 2 ODS with:
ODS A -
Company
Material
Quantity A
ODS B
Company
Material
Reason
Quantity B
I want to see:
Company - Material - Reason -Quantity A - Quantity B
But when i execute my infoset, values for Quantity A and B are duplicated, or triplicated, and so on.
How can i solve this?
I can't use multiprovider because characteristic Reason is not im my ODS A.

Infoset Reporting Problem

HI,
I have created a infoset with Sales Order, Delivery, Purchasing and GDP Forecast ODS based on Material and Plant Join.
I am supposed to display the data from Sales as well as GDP Demand Year to Date and GDP Forecast values.
For Year to date I used some restricted key figure to get the correct values.
The values are calculated correctly when I do these RKF calculation on individual ODS. But when done on the infoset, these values multiply.
e.g For Material AA and Plant BB , correct value of Demand YTD is 12 Then in infoset it is displayed as 144.
I found out that for this material and plant combination I have 2 records in Sales ODS, 2 in Delivery ODS and 3 in Purchasing ODS.
so values is calculated as = 12 x 2 x 2 x 3 = 144.
Now my problem is How should I calculate the number of records from Sales, delivery , Purchasing for a given combination of Material/ Plant.
If these ODS had a single Key field or two Key field I would have been able to calculated number of records , using Exception aggregation on these variables , but Key fields are more than three for each of these ODS.
so I would like to know if there is any method to calculate the number of records from each ODS, which I can divide the calculated value of Demand YTD and get the correct result.

Urgent: InfoSet Query Problem

Hi:
I have a question related to the InfoSet issue I have been experiencing.
I have a SD ODS which has e.g Material, Cal Year/Month and Sales Qty, Sales Amt. I have another ODS which contains BOM (Bill Of Material Data) consists of Material, Components and Qty for each component. I created an InfoSet by using material as join field between this. When I created a query it shows report as shown below.
Material     Component     Sales Qty      Sales Amt     BOM Qty
111           AAA              1000          500          50
111           BBB              1000          500          20
111           CCC               1000          500          10
It means It keeps sales Qty for each component so at aggregated level my sales qty and amt is 3000 and 1500 resp. Which is not correct. What can I do in order for Sales Qty & Sales Amt not to repeat. Any help will be appreciated.

One way to get your correct values is by using formulas for sales quantity ands sales amt:
sales qty formula = sales qty * BOM Qty / SUM(BOM Qty)
in this way you will get
111 AAA 625 312,5 50
111 BBB 250 125    20
111 CCC 125 75,5 10

SQ02 dblogical Infoset date problem

Hi,
I have an infoset based on Logical database PNP.
I'm using "HR Master Record: Infotype 0001 (Org. Assignment)" fields
and additional fields ( like SYHR_A_P0001_AF_OMNGR_NA )
for my field group.
When I execute e query with some dates in the past (PNPBEGDA e PNPENDDA),
the field SYHR_A_P0001_AF_OMNGR_NA is wrong,
It's not the historical value valid for the dates PNPBEGDA e PNPENDDA I'm using for executing the query,
while fields like P0001-ORGEH (Organizational Unit) it is correct.
Could someone help me to understand how I can load SYHR_A_P0001_AF_OMNGR valid in the range PNPBEGDA e PNPENDDA?

I have built a query on a Infoset (Infoobject and ODS). Query is not getting the right values for the Infoobject attributes. It is picking the wrong values.
Any suggections on how this can be corrected?

Hi,
Yes the join is an inner join and i have connected just one infoobject in both the objects i.e. infoobject and ODS.
When i run the query it is bringing the right values from the ODS based on the join but the attribute Data from the Infoobject master data is irrelevant i.e. it is not bringing data based on join.

Infoset 1:n relation problem

Hello,
I am using infoset for my requirement. I am facing the n:1 relation issue.
Eg.
In X DSO I have 5 entries and in Y DSO I have only 1 entry. When I use infoset,I get the key figures from Y DSO displayed in report 5 times(duplicates) since X DSO has 5 entries. Can I avaid 5 times entry of key figure?
I cannot use multiprovider since I have only one common field between 2 DSO.
Please suggest.

Keyfigure values are incorrect in BEx Query based on infoset

Hi Experts,
I have created a infoset using 3 DSO's . 1 main DSO( from which i rquire all the data) is linked with other 2 DSO's using left outer join. DSO is linked with other 2 DSO's with a field return GUID .
Now when i am executing a query , key figure values are coming incorrectly because suppose if there is 1 record related to
RETURN GUID in main DSO and there are 4 reords in 2nd DSO with the same RETURN GUID then in infoset data 4 rows are getting created with the replication of all the fields from first DSO against those 4 rows. So in query result amount field is getting 4 times of its original value because of aggregation of all those 4 rows.
I don't have set of key fields by which i can link the all the DSO's to get unique linking of records.
How can i get the amount only one time in query result?
Hope i am clear.
Please help. I need to create report urgently.

Infoset confusion

hello, i have a question about infoset. i have a infoset which has 3 objects 2 infoobjetcs and one dso. they all say left outer join and i know left out join means the value in the left object has to be in the right ones. how do i read this infoset? please help. thanks

Adding additional fields to an existing Infoset.

Experts,
I got a requirement to add additional fields to an existing info set which belongs to different Logical Data base.
The existing info set is based on PNPCE LDB and the fields are from PD (i.e PCH ldb).
Please let me know hw to add those fields...

Hi Shrini,
You can add fields from PD infotypes (1000-1999) to a PNPCE infoset if the object has a relationship to a Person. Example would be Position which has the relationship Holder. You go to Change the Infoset. Edit --> Change infotype selection. Scroll down to the bottom and open Infotypes of Related Objects. Open Position. There you will see the possible relationships between a Position and Person. Select Holder. There you have the list of infotypes assigned to a Position that you can add by checking each. You can then add whatever fields are in that infotype to the Infoset.
Problem comes in if there is no direct relationship between a Person and the object - such as Job that you want to include in the Infoset. A Job describes a Position and a Person holds a Position, but a Person does not have the direct relationship to the Job except as a Dislike or Successor. In this case you would need to create a new PCH Infoset with the root object Position. Then using the relationships between Position and Job and Position and Person, you can access the infotypes from PA as well as PD.

Infoset with ldb IOC - error in selection parameter

Hi Expers,
could any of You pls help me with an issue - creating infoset with ldb, and get error in selection parameter definiton.
I am about to create an infoset than a query, using IOC logical database, and get a couple of error message related to selecion parameters - such as: error in sel. parameter P_PICK is - Statement concluding with "...TYPE" ended unexpectedly.
I do not really need this parameter for my selection, so I was to delete - but I could not find it amongst the selection fields in actual infoset. When I tried to create it, I got a message: it has already been created (of course), but where can I find / change it if not amongst listed selection parameters (Extras / Selection)
I suppose I can not make any changes in DBIOCSEL - because COOIS is also using this ldb - and it might have some unexpected effect there as well.
Later I started to create a Z*report via SE80, using same ldb, and it works fine.
So it is not a burning issue any more, but still interesting, why infoset has problem with the sel. parameter which is actually not in use.

Data load failure with datasource Infoset Query

Dear Experts,
I had a data load failure today,where i am getting data from the datasource which was built on Infoset Query.
we had a source system upgrade and when i checked Infoset query in the development of Source sytem im getting the below message :
"Differences in field EKES-XBLNR
Output Length in Dictionary : 035
Output Length in Infoset : 020
Message was saying Adjust the INFOSET,I dont have authorisation to create the transport in the source system.I requested the respective person to Adjust the Infoset and also to regenerate the same and move to production system.
I think this will solve my problem,Please correct me if am wrong.

Hi Suman,
i am still facing the problem even after adjusting the Infoset.The problem is we are facing the short dump with length mismatch.
when i checked the Infoset we are taking the field xblnr from table EKES and data element for teh field was XBLNR_LONG(char-35) but when i checked the datasource in RSA2 the dataelement for XBLNR was showing as BBXBL(char20).
i think this was causing the problem and i checked in SQ02 we will take the field directly from the table and how there is chance to change the dataelement.
Please help me to correct the same.

I have created an infoset with sales order item and delivery
The issue is
there is one sales order item with qty 10 but because it was delivered on different dates with different quantity like 5,5
the report show likes
sales order item                            quantity                  delivered quantiy   act gds issue date
10                                                 10                             5                        20/09/2010
10                                                  10                            5                        21/09/2010
result                                              20                           10
but the actual quanity should only be 10 but the result it is sumarizing as 20 because there are 2 line items for the same

Double quantity variant components item

Hi,
There's a item in the sales order which a variant component doubled.
EX.
Item   Material             QTY      Unit      ItCategory
10      Variant                 1         pc         YTM1
20      componet A         200      in3         YTM2
21      componet A         200      in3         YTM2<<<<----
(duplicate of ITEM 21)
30     Variant                  1         in3         YTM2

The config for numbering is by 10. What are the possible reasons why item 21 appeared?
