Infoset - Keyfigure values duplicated

Hello,
I have 2 ODS with:
ODS A -
Company
Material
Quantity A
ODS B
Company
Material
Reason
Quantity B
I want to see:
Company - Material - Reason -Quantity A - Quantity B
But when i execute my infoset, values for Quantity A and B are duplicated, or triplicated, and so on.
How can i solve this?
I can't use multiprovider because characteristic Reason is not im my ODS A.

Keyfigure values are incorrect in BEx Query based on infoset

Hi Experts,
I have created a infoset using 3 DSO's . 1 main DSO( from which i rquire all the data) is linked with other 2 DSO's using left outer join. DSO is linked with other 2 DSO's with a field return GUID .
Now when i am executing a query , key figure values are coming incorrectly because suppose if there is 1 record related to
RETURN GUID in main DSO and there are 4 reords in 2nd DSO with the same RETURN GUID then in infoset data 4 rows are getting created with the replication of all the fields from first DSO against those 4 rows. So in query result amount field is getting 4 times of its original value because of aggregation of all those 4 rows.
I don't have set of key fields by which i can link the all the DSO's to get unique linking of records.
How can i get the amount only one time in query result?
Hope i am clear.
Please help. I need to create report urgently.

Infoset - Keyfigure problem

A BEx report is generated on Infoset
having Booking ODS, Revenue ODS , Custom date Infoobject and CUstomer master InfoObject.
The problem with the report is it is having Keyfigure duplicity.
The sales order items with materials having ) key figure value are getting suppressed automatically, but in RSRT they are showing up.
I checked forums have tried the solution from blogs

I created ZREFOBJ getting data from Revenue ODS and used exception aggregation(for Net Revenue Key Figure) with reference characteristic ZREFCHAR.
But this did not solve the problem.
Any other solution?

Supress Keyfigure Values

Hi All,
I have a requirement wherein each opportunity id has to pull multiple business partners assigned to that opportunity.So, in order to get this i created an infoset with a combination of an infocube and two other info Objects. Now the results are coming up as expected.
The issue I have is that the keyfigure values are appearing in each row for all business partners and the values are repeating along the rows assigned to each opportunity and the way users wanted is the keyfigure values must appear on first row only and rest below rows must be blank.

Hi Gopi,
There is an option to supress repeated Key Values. This option is available in Query Designer and Bex Analyzer as well.
Steps to Achieve this:
Query Designer:
1. Open Query in Query Designer.
2. Select the Display tab from the Properties pane. (This will appear on the right side of the screen).
3. You will find the check box - Hide repeated Key Values.
4. Select that check box.
BEx Analyzer:
1. Open Query or template or Workbook.
2. Right click on any value and select Query Properties.
3. Select the Display Options tab.
4. You will find the check box - Hide repeated Key Values.
5. Select that check box.

Keyfigures values are not displaying

Hi Experts,
There is an issue that when the user is trying to execute the report (maybe workbook) he is not able to see the keyfigures values.Keyfigures are not hidden and they are in display mode in designer.He is getting blank values
But when I execute the same report in Bex Analyzer I can able to see the keyfigure values.But if I rerfresh the report which the user has executed I am not able to see any values for keyfigures.
Can anybody suggest something on the same issue.

Do you see blank values for all the KFs or some specific key figures. Try running the query for some different selection and let us know if you can see the result.
To check the authorization, check the InfoObject property for all the IO used in the query. Check the BEx tab and there is checkbox called this object is authorization relavent. If this is checked for any of the infoobject, you must have those IOs in the selection screen as mandatory variables. You can not run the report keeping selection for this IOs blank.
Parallely also check with your security team if any authorization is assigned to those IOs which are authorization relevent. Check if you are given all the required roles to see the values.
If the answer to my first question is YES, which is all the KFs are blank and that is true for any other selection, there could be a possibility that query is corrupted in Production. That happened to me once. The solution given by SAP was to save the query again in Production and reembed in teh workbook again.

Key value duplicated

Hello Experts,
iam running the dataloads in process chain for a ods in which unique key value is checked but still at the end of the data load iam getiing error that key value duplicated .can anybody help me in resolving this issue

It's a problem of quality of data.
Please check your ODS Settings (in ODS Definition screen)...I think you may have the Unique Data Records setting check marked. With this indicator you determine whether ONLY unique data records are posted in the ODS object. This means that it is not possible to load data record into the ODS object if the key combination already exists.
If you can't uncheck it in Prod, fix data in the source system.

Cumulative keyfigure value based on condition

Hi All,
I have a requirement where in I need to display cumulative results on keyfigures. At present I am displaying keyfigures values for fiscal year & fiscal period included in query at column level.
But, If user add comapny code (from filter) & removes fiscal period at run time (in BEx screen), the data is displayed cumulative across company codes.
The requirement is: data should get displayed cumulative based on company code codes.
Kindly suggest your inputs.

Hi Shamkanth,
In general we will use time char for calculation of time fields but when we are using for calculation purpose ,we have to consider key figures for developing time fields.
The reason why we have to use is: at the time of dril down with respect ton other fields across the report,it will show exact result but we if we use time char it will show wrong counter.

BPS - How to filter a BPS layout based on keyfigure value.

Hi Gurus,
I am in a requirement to display a BPS layout based on a keyfigure value. Basically filter based on a keyfigure value. I don't want to display any records which contains a value of '0' in a particular keyfigure. Is this possible in BPS.

thanks guys for your response.
The macro is not going to help me because the number of records from the database fetch is going to be more than 15000 and the valid records are only around 100. And since BPS cannot display more than 9999 records this would be a problem. This is my assumption. Let me try this out and see how BPS responses.
I tried using the exit function to delete the records from buffer with the condition if the keyfigure is 0 but the other keyfigures values are affect due to this. Meaning BPS keeps track of the changed records and changes the other keyfigure value to 0.
e.g. I have 2 keyfigure, A and B. A is the keyfigure where I check the value for 0 and B is the keyfigure with a non-zero value say $10. And in the exit before processing I have 10 records out of which 2 records are having value 0 for the A keyfigure and 8 records are having value as 1 for the A KeyFigure. And B keyfigure is having $10 for all the records. Based on the condition I delete off the 2 records from memory. SEM keeps track of this change and when you press on the save button in planning layout, the value for the B keyfigure are changed from $10 to $ -10 and saved to the database, I don't want this change in value to B keyfigure happening. So any other work arounds....

How to get the keyfigure values

hi all,
I have loaded the sales ,billing and delivery data to sales overview cobe(0sd_c03).
The keyfigures in all the update rules are inactive.I changed the update rule type to addition from no update and when i try to assign source fields to those key figures,in the f4 help of the source fields i am not getting the field.
so by this i am not getting the keyfigure values in the cube .only the characteristic values are displayed.
How to get the keyfigure values in the cube.
will there be any settings in the SPRO in R/3.
Plz give solution for this .

If your UR is inactive, how you can load data?
The KFs you are trying to add, are newly added KFs in cube or the existing KFs?
Do this:
Activate your cube, TR again.
Delete your UR and re-create it.
Delete all the bad requests from cube.
Now try to do the load.
OR
If you did customization your cube, make sure you did activated your cube, did the changes in your DS, replicated datasource in BW, added the new fields in TR and activated, and Deleted your UR and re-created it.
Now try.

Issue in query created on infoset - characterstic values are not displayed

Hi,
We have created a query based on an infoset(customized). In this query, values of only one object(sold-to-party) is not displayed. Where as for the same object, values are displayed in the other query created based on the respective ODS.
note : Query based on infoset is alone not coming.
This is the description of the error -
System error in program CL_RSMD_RS and IF_RSMD_RS-READ_META_DATA-02. and it is showing (No entries found).
And apart from that, the values of their respective attributes are also not displayed in the report.
I even verified the object in RSA1 where data is available for that.
Need Help to solve ....

I am working a workbook, to see the all the values of the keyfigures below freecharacteristics what we need to do?
I am able to see the keyfigures but not the values. (this is which we find above the report) in the workbook.

In the workbook, before the report(rows and columns) the free characteristics, key figures are displayed.
Against keyfigures i want to display values.
For example:
Title:   ReportName(XXXXXXXXXXX)
Sold-to party
Sold-toPartyCountry
Material
Key figures    < here i want to display the values of all the keyfigures>
Below are text elements
Division (Selection Options, Optional)     Empty Demarcation

Badi-Virtual keyfigure value not populating in query

HI all,
I am trying to populate a constant value into the virtual keyfigure when the query is executed but the value is not getting populated.
I followed the steps how to do this by looking into the step by step process for keyfigure article which i found in SDN.
When i execute my BADi in se19 i am able to get the value but not in the query.
Is there a special way to create keyfigures or is it the same way as we create a normal keyfigure.
Can someone tell me how to get the values in query.

Hi,
why dont you debug the badi while executing the report from RSRT t-code. This will give you some idea.
To debug, put a break point in 'define' as well as 'compute' function of your Badi-implementation, then go to RSRT t-code, enter your query name and then click generate. It will stop at the break-point. Here you can see what is the problem

InfoSet - Aggregated Value of Key Figures Field in BEx

Hi,
I have created an InfoSet which is comprised of 1 InfoObject and 3 DSOs. I can see there are more records in the InfoSet than in the BEx report for the InfoSet and in the BEx report the value of an amount field summed up for the duplicate records fall within the same date range. Example:
In the InfoSet I see:
               Name       Valid From     Valid To         Amount
Record 1: James      16.06.1998     31.12.1998     25000
Record 2: James      16.06.1998     31.12.1998     25000
For the corresponding record in the BEx report for the InfoSet I see:
Record: James     16.06.1998    31.12.1998     50000
It is correct that this particular record is displayed once in the report but the value of the amount field shouldn't be added up. Do you have idea of this?

Changing the font color for the complete row based on the Keyfigure Values

Hi Experts,
Can any one help me to find a solution for this?.
I have a requirement, in which the Font color for the complete Row needs to be set to RED in Bex Report, when the corresponding Row Keyfigure is more than a particular value.
Ex: Notification-Material-Customer-Def Qty-delivered Qty
1000000 - XXXXX- AAAAAA-10-1000
in the above example, when the Defect qty increses more than 10, then the complete Row Including the characterstics, Notification, Material, and customer Should be Highlighted in Red. This has to happen automatically once the Query is refreshed.
Please let me know if you have any suggestion here?.

Step 1: Click the Format Menu in Excel(BEX Analyzer)
Step 2: Click the Style submenu
Step 3: there will be number of SAPBEX formats available. Each of these relates to another cell of BEx (Header, Cell Data,
Result Row, Hierarchies, etc.). Also, they depend on data types.
Step 4: Select SAPBEXchatext
Step 5: Click Modify. This displays all the standard formatting option as shown below.
Step 6: Select Font, Color (Background/ Font).
Step 7: Click OK on both the screens. The entire BEx output result row Font and color is modified.

Displaying the Keyfigure values as characteristic/text

Is there any option of displaying the values of a CKF/Formula as Text.
If Result of the logic applied in CKF/Formula is >1 then it should be displayed as TRUE else it should be displayed as FALSE.

you got 2 options, using boolean function in the calculated key figure/formula. then display either 0 or 1 for true and false.
other option, if you wanted to display as text, true or false. you need to create a virtual keyfigure for this, populate true or false by using standard Badi implementation.
