Infoset query of vendor payments at the cost distribution level

We would like an infoset query of vendor payments at the cost distribution level of the document. The issue seems to be joining vendor to the document cost distribution lines.
1.) BSAK + BSIK can be combined with an infoset data structure but only contain the vendor line of a document; the cost distribution lines are not in the tables.
2.) BSIS + BSAS can be combined with an infoset data structure but lack vendor data and joins (to a vendor source) are not an option with data structures. Vendor data added with an additional field is too slow to be a primary selection field.
3.) Logical data base KDF in an infoset returns only the vendor line of a document, not the cost distribution lines.
4.) Logical data base BRM in an infoset can have vendor from BSAK/BSIK attached by an additional field but performance is too slow to be useful. Joins are not an option in a logical data base infoset.
5.) Complete data is lacking when table joins between document cost distribution tables and vendor data tables are possible, (SPL actual line item table & BSIP or FMIFIIT & FMIFIHD). BSIP lacks AB documents (reversals). FM tables lack general ledger only documents.
6.) BSAK and BSIK together have complete vendor data but joins of both to a basis table do not work well. Left outer joins are too slow, inner joins won’t work since the tables have mutually exclusive data.
It would be ideal to have vendor in BKPF, like FMIFIHD has, but it isn't a field.

Crystal report from SAP infoset query

Hi All,
I am facing a problem in a crystal report which is based on Infoset query. When I run the report after passing the parameters it gives me an error "Database error occured" "Parameter field value does not exists" "RFC Closed"
But if I run the same Infoset query from SQ01 I am able to run it with same paramenter and it returns many records.
To be very precise I am running the best practice crystal report "Cost Analysis - Planned vs. Actual Order Costs" which is based on infoset query CO_OM_CA_20_Q1.
It throws me error that "Controlling Area does not exists".
Did anyone faced similar problem?

Hi,
log into your SAP ERP system using the SAP GUI and choose in the SAP Menu the following path:
SAP Menu -> Accounting -> Controlling -> Cost Cetner Controlling ->Environment->Set Controlling Area.
Set the desired controlling area for your user there (DO NOT FORGET TO CLICK ON THE DISKETTE ICON) and try again.

How to delete Infoset Query in R/3

I created a Infoset using SQ02 in R/3 and generated the query. Now I need to delete that Infoset query. Please advice me how to delete infoset query from the functional group in R/3.

In SQ01 ,press shift+F7 then find your user group. then from infoset query tab ,select ur infoset.
and try to delete , I think, it should work.

Issue while extracting data using Gen DS of Type Infoset Query

Hi All,
We have a Generic Data source created using the Infoset query. I get some data discrepency when i am extracting the data with the same DS. The data for the Field Amount in the R3 and the PSA is different. When i try to check the same using the RSA3 T-Code i am unable to execute the Gen DS in R3 production where as its working fine in R3 Dev, and i am able to execute the other DS in the R3 production using the RSA3 T-code.
My concerns ::--
1. if the DS is working fine in R3 Dev in RSA3 the y i am facing the problem in Production.
2. Y i am getting the different data in R3 and PSA since PSA shuld be the replicate of R3?
3. How can i resolve this problem.??

I am having the authorization to execute the query in R3 production, As i am able to execute the other DS in RSA3 . But not able to execute this DS i had also checked it is active n working fine when loading the Data.
There is only one routine ie to transfer rule from lower to upper of a char value.
As der r routines in Update Rule but i have to get the same data in PSA which is der in R3.
The Routine of Update Rules will be executed when loading the data to the Targets right so the data may b vary in Data targets but y i am getting different data in PSA .
Pls thru some light.

Runtime error while executing infoset query

When we execute infoset query we get following dump :"

Please check the entries in the system log (Transaction SM21).
You may able to find an interim solution to the problem
in the SAP note system. If you have access to the note system yourself,
use the following search criteria:

Looks like a BASIS issue.
Check with BASIS, they need to regularly monitor the tablespace and file system, at OS level

InfoSet Query: Syntax Error while generating the program.

Dear All,
I have a Query in CRM system which contains an Infoset based on LDB.
The InfoSet Query throws up a Syntax error while generating the program.
So, we are not able to change the Infoset using the Infoset Query through SQ01.
The error is as follows:-
Syntax error in program "AQZZ==/SAPQUERY/CRM_ACTMON1 ".
Error in the ABAP Application Program
The current ABAP program "CL_QUERY_OUTPUT_DEFINITION====CP" had to be

come across a statement that unfortunately cannot be executed.

There is an error in your query, specifically in the definition of CRMT_REPORT_LOCATORLIST. In the short dump (transaction ST22) you will see more details and the exact location of an error if you just scroll down.
I can't tell more because this problem is specific to your system, to which I have no access. Read the whole dump and look at all the objects mentioned there.

Infoset query logical database and transparent table

Hi!
We have an infoset with the data source logical database=PNP.
We get some fields from the infotype 0768, P0768-PERNR, P0768-BEGDA, etc.
Now we need add another table to make a join within infotype 0768 and table T5F99SE.
For instance, in infotype 0768 I have one record with the fields PERNR and BEGDA and in the T5F99SE I have 3 records related to the unique record of infotype 0768, the fields of the table are PERNR, BEGDA, ACTDT and ADDAT .
The fields values in the example can be:
Infotype 0768: PERNR=00101800, BEGDA=20110401, DICOT=20, BACHE=1200
Table T5F99SE: record 1 PERNR=00101800, BEGDA=20110401, ACTDT=20110401, ADDAT=PB    E
                         record 2 PERNR=00101800, BEGDA=20110101, ACTDT=20110405, ADDAT=PC    E01
                         record 3 PERNR=00101800, BEGDA=20110401, ACTDT=20110409, ADDAT=PA    E
The result we want get with infoset query is
PERNR    BEGDA   DICOT BACHE   ADDAT
00101800 20110101 20        1200       PB    E
00101800 20110101 20        1200       PC    E01
00101800 20110101 20        1200       PA    E
I would like to get the fields of the infotype and some fields of the table T5F99SE.
Is possible do this action with ABAP modifying an infoset that already exists adding the fields of the transparent table?
What should I do?

My guess is that it would not be possible to include a transparent table into the LDBs PNP and PNPCE. Would need input from a technical expert there.
However, instead of using the LDB, why don't you explore just using a direct table join? You may need to join PA0000, PA0001, PA0002 along with PA0768 and your other tables. An infoset can then be created on this table join.
To go to the mode where you can create the table join, in your infoset transactions, choose 'Table join' instead of 'LDB'.

Modifying SQL in an infoset query

Dear SDN experts,
Can you please tell me if there is a way to modify the sql statement for an InfoSet query that was generated from a quickviewer?
Preferably this should be done without copying the generated code and then directly editing the ABAP, because I am just a poor application consultant without those kinds of programming priviliges.

As an example of a specific requirement I need to show only the most recent purchase order created for specific vendor(s), and I figure I could accomplish this by tweaking the SQL statement. Or maybe I could load the resultset into an internal table an manipulate this.
I have a feeling I need to go to coding section under extras on the InfoSet. But I think I just need a couple of nudges to get to that moment of revelation

Addtional Structure on InfoSet query of Logical database

Hi Experts,
We have a logical database on which we are supposed to create an InfoSet query. We could create the InfoSet query and also the query on top of it.
We have a requirement to add addtional fiels which are not part of the logical database. The addtional fields are in a strucuture. I added the strucuture using the Extras option, but I need help on how to extract data from this strucuture.
Can you please help me with a sample code:
Logical Database in question is - FTI_TR_PERIODS
Structure to be included is - VTG_IRATE_STRUCTURE
Field in structure to be included is - PKOND, SKOART
As this is a structure we cannot right a select statement, and I am very new to abap and require help on how to extract data from the structure.

Infoset Query Modification Suggestion

I'm new to ABAP Infoset and logical database, and need your help.
I have a query running based on Infoset Z_FI_CHILE_XX(same copy from /SAPQUERY/FI_CHILE_PERU) and logical database SDF. Now I'm trying to modify the selection screen, for example: get rid of 'Fiscal year' and 'Period', and adding 'Posting data' criteria.
As I can see so far, 'Fiscal year' critieria is from logical database SDF, and 'Period' was adding in Infoset. Please give me some suggestion, should we modified logical database, or you have better solution?
Also do you have better documentation on how to modify the selection criteria in infoset rather than SAP library?

I realised that my problem actually can not be just simply solved by modify the selection screen, since I need selection some periods from one fiscal year, then get some periods from another fiscal year, which two part of periods are not the same. Also I need the sum the total from all the periods that I selected, instead of list them in report.
My solution is modified the code behind the infoset to control selection in different periods for different fiscal year, then adding the subtotal total section in infoset Query, finally use a menu function(total drilldown) to leave only subtotal sections in report.

Additional i/o fields to infoset query based on PNPCE logical database

I have a requirement to add two additional input and output fields "job function" and "job family" to a infoset query based on logical database PNPCE. I am new to writing code in infset query and there are so many code areas in infoset query. I am confused where to write code and how to limit the output list based on the user selection to the additional fields "Job function" and "job family". have any one done this in the past?. is there sample code somewhere to do something similar to this?
