Infoset query giving error post upgrade
Hi All,
We have upgraded our system from BW 3.5 to BI 7. Post upgrade we are getting error while opening/executing queries on infoset.
In ST22 the error is UNCAUGHT_EXCEPTION -CX_RSD_NAME_ERROR.
The infoset is active.

I resolved the problem by applying the solution suggested by Wond.
The SP details are as below,
SAP_BW 700 0015 SAPKW70015 SAP NetWeaver BI 7.0
We were facing this issue in development system. We didn't faced this issue in sandbox which was a copy of production. We are in process of upgrading now quality.

"PL/SQL does not support top-N queries (ORDER BY in SUBSELECT/SUBQUERY

InfoSet Query: Syntax Error while generating the program.
Dear All,
I have a Query in CRM system which contains an Infoset based on LDB.
The InfoSet Query throws up a Syntax error while generating the program.
So, we are not able to change the Infoset using the Infoset Query through SQ01.
The error is as follows:-
Syntax error in program "AQZZ==/SAPQUERY/CRM_ACTMON1 ".

Pankaj.There is an error in your query, specifically in the definition of CRMT_REPORT_LOCATORLIST. In the short dump (transaction ST22) you will see more details and the exact location of an error if you just scroll down.
I can't tell more because this problem is specific to your system, to which I have no access. Read the whole dump and look at all the objects mentioned there. -
Query Engine Error after upgrade from CR for VS2003 to CR for VS2008
Three CR reports were built in CR 8.5, loaded into VS2003 (C#), and converted. Each report worked fine for the past three years. Each report users the same odbc connection direct to the Sybase 12.5.3 database and each is based on a stored procedure. Each report has input parameters. Recently we did an upgrade to VS2008. We installed the CRRedist2008_x86.msi on the development machine running Windows XP and on the server running Windows 2003. No changes were made to the design of the reports, the parameters, or to the database stored procedures.
Several other reports run just fine since the update to VS2008, however, two reports are now raising an error message "Query Engine Error: 'An internal error has occurred. Please contact Business Objects technical support.' Failed to open a rowset." This error message occurs just after ReportViewer.ShowDialog() method is called (login has already been successfully achieved) I verified that with the parameters being passed to the reports are correct and that these should indeed be returning data.
One additional report is also now raising the error "Query Engine Error at CrystalDecisions.ReportAppServer.Controllers.ReportSourceClass.GetLastPageNumber(RequestContext pRequestContext) at CrystalDecisions.ReportSource.EromReportSourceBase.GetLastPageNumber(ReportPageRequestContext reqContext) ". It can be described as above, odbc connection to Sybase 12.5.3, achieves a successful login, based on a stored procedure that is unchanged. The rpt itself is unchanged.
I would appreciate your assistance with getting these reports working again. Any suggestions welcome!I forgot to mention that I had already done a 'Verify Database' on each of these reports, with no success. However, I have now repeated the 'Verify Database' on each report and they all work. Not sure why it had to be done a second time, but I am very happy that it works. Thank you for your response.
In answer to your question - why does the Crystal Reports runtime have to be installed on the development machine? This is because our process includes an installation of the application on the development machine, independent of the debug environment, and a test of that application instance before deploying to the application server. -
Infoset query: Runtime Errors TSV_TNEW_PAGE_ALLOC_FAILED

I have searched the forum and could not find suitable solution for my problem.
We have an infoset query whose data source is an ABAP program and this is within our BW system only. Earlier it used to run perfectly fine. Recently, due to the increasing data, the load for the same is failing because of memory issue with runtime Error TSV_TNEW_PAGE_ALLOC_FAILED . The dump occurs within 5-7 minutes of the data load. Once, we give some more filter selections in the infopackage, it runs fine.
Our problem is neither we can increase the memory any further nor we want to give filter selections in the infopackage. Also, once we execute the ABAP program alone, it runs fine.
Any help to solve this problem is appreciated.

There are 3 ways to avoid this kind of problem:
1) Reduce the data set - if it is possible to process this in smaller
chunks then please do. This is an infoset query - please be more restrictive in your selections
- please refer to note 354657.
When you work with infosets that use tables or joins then it is
possible to read packages (from Rel. 6.10 on). When you work with
infosets that use logical databases or data retrieval programs than
it is not possible to read packaged - by technical restrictions.
That means that the query is executed completely taking all restrictions
into account and the result is stored internally.
2) Re-allocate some of the unused shared memories to program memory.
A prime candidate for this is Roll and Page "In Memory" values.
Alternative memory management via PHYSMEMSIZE generally overallocates
roll and page memory. Please reduce the amounts allocated to the "in
memory" part (see ST02) using the parameters below, for instance:
rdisp/ROLL_MAXFS....Total amt of ROLL (Filesystem+SHM); in 8KB blocks
rdisp/ROLL_SHM......Shared memory element of Roll; in 8KB blocks
rdisp/PG_MAXFS......Total amt of Page (Filesystem+SHM); in 8KB blocks
rdisp/PG_SHM........Shared memory element of Roll; in 8KB blocks
=>Filsystem amt = MAXFS - SHM
60MB or so each in memory should be sufficient.
This should allow an extra 260Mb or so for process memory.
Bear in mind however that Roll_SHM MUST be greater than 10% of
Roll_MAXFS.
This will not affect alternative memory management operation in any way.
3) Reduce the em/global_area_MB from 128 to 64MB.
These measures should give you ~320MB additionally per work process.
To get even more - if there is a 64 bit machine in the landscape then
redirect the load there.
I would like for you to review the SAP Note 712664. Although
the Notes 20527, 369726 and 166551 specifically refers to this
and has helped resolve multiple performance problems.

Query engine error after upgrading from vs2003 to 2008
Hi,
I had crystal reports installed and working with visual studio 2003 using .Net. After upgrading to visual C# 2008 Express, When I attempt to create a report at runtime, I get the error "Query Engine Error. <filelocation>\report1.rpt"
If I attempt to edit a report at design time, I get the following error: "There is no editor available for <fileLocation>\report1.rpt. Make sure the application for the file type (.rpt) is installed.
Can anyone point me in the right direction??

DittimonCrystal Reports is not supported with the Express editions of Visual Studio.
If you are going to use VS.NET 2008 you will need to use the Professional Version or higher.

InfoSet Query modification error
Hi,
I am trying to modify a InfoSet Query in SQ01 developed by a SD consultant last time. I already assigned my user ID in the User Group (in SQ03) which is referred by this Query. At the same time, I also assigned the Change Authorization to my ID.
After that, I modified this InfoSet in the SQ02 to add on 1 table and the Save is successful. Then I try to modify the display layout of the Query in SQ01. When I save it, it give me a message "The query is locked for changes by SDUSER". The ID SDUSER is used by the SD consultant last time. Then the modification is not saved.
I already checked in AL08 and also SM04, and found that this user is not log in at that time.
I already done whatever I know to try to solve this problem but I still can't settle it. Can anyone please help me on this? Why can this happen? How can I unlock it?

the lock was made by SDUSER when he created the querie. It's an option in the first screen "Title, Format" (specials attributes). When this option is select, only the specific user can change the query (sometimes some modifications are allowed by other user's in specific conditions).
The only way of resolving the problem, is the SDUSER to disable that option from there. After that you will be able to change it.
If that user doesn't exists, you must call the Basis team to create the user again, log on, and change the option.

Inv_head is linked to inv_detail thru primary-foreign key, table ACNTS is independant.
i have joined inv_head==>ACNTs in forms.
i wrote this post-query Suggested by you. i want to display ONLY the control fields r1c1.....
derived from the acnts table in post query and keep acnts table fields hidden.
the acnts table should just be saved in the background(in post-database-commit) and
its values will be displayed on form thru the control fields.
but when i make the visible property of the acnts table fields to "NO", the post query result does not display
the control fields r1c1.... and on querying, at first record it gives error,
FRM-40106 No navigable items in destinations block
and why i dont want to use the acnts tables for display, because i want to assign & display the control fields
as i enter the details in inv_head and inv_detail, in the sequence of r1c1 r1c2 r1c3 r1c4....
which i dont think will be possible with acnts tables (which is a linked actual db table).

A query (not counting sub-queries) has, at most, only one of each type of clause: one SELECT clause, followed by one FROM clause, followed (optionally) by one WHERE clause. All items to be returned go together in the one SELECT clause. All tables needed are named in the on FROM clause. All filtering conditions go together in the one WHERE clause.
Perhaps you meant something like this:

Airport Extreme giving errors after upgrading to ML Server
With OS X Server, your machine sees your Airport Extreme and can then configure it by opening ports, etc. once you turn on services. I upgraded from OS X Lion Server to ML Server and everything was fine for a second. Now whenever I click on the Extreme in the panel, I get the following error:
The error occurred while processing a command of type 'getIGDPortmaps' in plug-in 'servermgr_network'.
In Console, this error pops up:

I've got in and deleted all the keychain passwords having to do with the Basestation and I still get the same error. Right now, I put SerI don't know if this will help but here's what happened today.
While I was out of the house, I wanted to see if the VPN connection was still active and working on my phone. It told me that it couldn't log in so no big deal. I figured I'd check it when I got home.
I got home and checked the Server settings for VPN and sure enough, it was off. I turned the VPN setting to ON and let it write its information. I then went to the AEBS tab on the left pane and it asked me for the password. Once I put in the password for the AEBS, it worked just fine.
So far what I've done was erase any Keychain passwords related to the AEBS and turned on VPN service to get it working. Don't know if that'll work for everyone else but hopefully it does. Seems it's a tiny bug that should be stomped out rather quickly as it's a huge piece of OS X Server. -
Importing a page giving errors after upgrade to APEX 4.2.3

We upgraded from APEX 4.2.1. Now we cannot import a page get error:

Is there anybody that found a workaround?There is a patch that is available that fixes exactly this problem.. see this thread for more info

DVD Play Error Post Upgrade to 10.9.3

Did a fresh OS install on the older iMAC 24" A1225 model, and right after getting the below error when trying to play a DVD. Also tried an external USB DVD player, and received the same error. This must be old new, hopefully some can recall and point me in the right direction to resolve.
