InfoSets Marketing

Hi all,
I'm working on marketing subjects : Segmentation and Campaign Management.
I would like to use an InfoSet as a DataSource in the segment builder. The aim of this DataSource is to be able to target the BP who are in the Partner Tab of an opportunity or an activity. So, I want to create a Target Group including BP who are involved in an opportunity or an activity.
I'm trying 2 solutions but no one is working :
<u>1st solution</u> :  Join Table
So I suppose that we have to use Table joins : for example the CRMD_OPPORT_H  table with the BUT000 table.
But the problem is that I have no BP when I select a filter in the Segment Builder.
I have made the DataSource selecting the InfoSet I've created and putting BUT000-PARTNER_GUID as the partner.
I even tried putting CRMD_LINK between BUT000 and CRMD_OPPORT_H but it doesn't work.
<u>2nd solution</u> : Logical Data Base
When I use an InfoSet from the logical data base CRMLDB_OPP_MON putting PARTNER-REF-GUID as the partner of the DataSource, I can find BP in the profile of the segment Builder. Then I create the Target Group including these BP but I don't have the BP when I open the Target Group.
Have you an idea of what is the best solution and how to create correctly this InfoSet and the DataSource which is related ?

    Steps followed:
    Review Standard Infoset CRM_MKTTG_BP_BIRTHDATE (Transaction SQ02).Review Data Reading Program code: do we have to change the standard code? We have only remove the "BREAK-POINT" statement.
    Creation of a Data source based on the standard CRM_MKTTG_BP_BIRTHDATE Infoset (Transaction CRMD_MKTDS).
    Creation of an Attribute List based on that standard Data source and selection the Birth date as a filter in the Attribute list (Transaction CRMD_MKTDS).
    On the segment builder of the WebUI set any filter (Example: “TODAY”).
    Steps in detail:

    Example1: “today”
    Count target group. Here I would like to stand out that once you click on the “Count” option, immediately it shows 0 results. In other words, it doesn’t process any information. With other attribute lists it takes some time to process, no matter the filter or the attribute list you use. However if we create a new Data source with data "Extraction from Query" (transaction RS02) based on this standard CRM_MKTTG_BP_BIRTHDATE Infoset and we test the functionality using transaction RSA3, IT DOES RETURN RESULTS (with “today” filter and other)! So it seems that the problem has to do with the segment builder, not the Infoset.
    Result: it never return any results no matter the filter you specify.
    Other cases:
    Creation of a new Data source with data "Extraction from Query" where you enter the name of your new query
    Creation of a Data source based on the standard CRM_MKTTG_BP_BIRTHDATE Infoset

    It seems that the standard Infoset doesn’t work by itself with Segmentation Basis. Two SAP notes have been applied and a new Field Group has been added to the Infoset (in order to distint the Segmentation Base).
    CRMT_MKTTG_IS_BIRTHDATE-MGRGUID
    1966298: MGR_GUID is not populated correctly to infoset read program
    2007687:Segmentation InfoSet queries saved with incorrect Master Group
    For that reason we had to create a new Infoset based on the standard CRMT_MKTTG_IS_BIRTHDATE, but adding this new Field MGRGUID to the Group Fields.

    I have mailed it to you.
    The steps are detailed herewith for the benefit of the group
    1. Create an infoset (SQ02).
    In field groups select the include all table field
    Delete the fields from the field groups which are not required (By right clicking the Data fields)
    2. Join the tables
    Graphical join should not be joined
    Put the table name and click enter.
    3. Define conditions
    Move the desired fields to the field group
    Save and generate the infosets

  • Crystal Report Missing SAP InfoSet, SAP BW Query Connector

    Hi,
    I have installed SAP GUI  for Windows 7.2 (Compilation 2) and Crystal Report 2008 SP2 then following by installed SAP Integration Kits 3.1 SP3 on my workstation. However, when i launch my Crystal Report designer, it do shows SAP toolbar however when i click on one of the icon (eg: Setting) the entire CR will hung and prompt me error and exit automatically.
    Beside that, i could not find any connector for SAP (Eg: SAP InfoSet, SAP BW Query and etc) when i create a new blank report by click on the New Connection.
    Appreciated anyone know this could assist on this.

    By the way, i saw your post regarding the Integration Kits installation and configuration. However, i still need some clarification; appreciated you could assist me on this.
    I have installed SAP BOXI3.1 SP3 on an LINUX machine (Redhat Enterprise 5) and the server was running fine without connecting to BW or SAP eCIBS.
    Now, i have to establish the connectivity to BW (InfoCuve and BW Query) and SAP eCIBS system. As my customer requirement was required to using WEBI, CR and Xcelsius for connecting to BW for getting the data and then using scheduler in BOE for performing report distribution. Some of the report will connecting to SAP eCIBS directly and that will using our Client's machine for creating the report (using CR2008) and then publish to the BOE platform for report scheduling and distribution.
    My question, i wish to install SAP Inter Kits and downloaded Inter. Kits for SAP Solution 3.1 SP3 from service market place. When i refer to the document from help.sap.com; there are couple of section but i wish to know which are the perquisite section that i wish to install and configure?
    Eg: System Requirement which are installing SAP RFC SDK and SAP JCO SDK into my BOE server, then following my create a logon token. How to to that? It also require to install SAP Java Connector and SAP GUI, does these two available for LINUX OS as well?
    The steps in doc was confuse, appreciated your kind help.

  • MARKETING Segmentation - E-Mail address maintained

    Hello,
    in CRM Marketing you have the possibility to segment on the attribute "E-mail address maintained". This attribute is part of the standard infoset CRM_MKTTG_BP_ADDR. This attribute checks if field FLAGCOMM6 in table ADRC is flagged. This field is marked when an e-mail adress is maintained for corporate accounts. Anyway, this flag ist not set, if the e-mail address for private accounts is maintained.
    Why is this flag only set for corprate accounts and what do I have to do if I also want to have an attribute in segmentation to check if an e-mail address is maintained for a private account.

    Hello Miriam,
    if you want to check the email address (private acccount), you can't use the standard infoset CRM_MKTTG_BP_ADDR, because this infoset include the tables but000, but020 and adrc.
    You need the table but051 there is a attribute SMTP_ADDRESS. After you created a infoset with this table you can create a filter with this attribute SMTP_ADDRESS, which check if the field is empty.

  • Data Source created by Infoset based in two joined tables

    Hi Forum,
    I want to do a segmentation in the Segment Builder based in a attribute list.
    The tablas i join are: BUT000 and ADRC. Everything is ok when the infoset is created and generated.
    Well, the next step i do is create the DATA SOURCE. When i edit source data  i fill these fields:
    Origin type --> 03 Infoset
    Name of Infoset --> ZINFOSET
    BP --> BUT000-PARTNER
    FM --> ZCONVERSION_MKT (this function convert the guid of my partners in a marketing guid, it works because the segmentation based in a infoset with a table works)
    Sampling Infoset --> ZINFOSET
    Sample --> BUT000-PARTNER
    Object --> BUT000-PARTNER_GUID ¿?¿?¿?¿?¿
    Partner Function --> Empty
    Description --> my description
    So, when i save this data...appears an error with this description:
    Techn. Name (BUT000) of InfoSets "ZDEF2" is not transparent table
    with this diagnosis:
    Each InfoSet in the IObject scenario must have a unique transparent retraction table assigned to it
    I need a object field, but i dont know what field choose...in the Segment Builder i choose the list and i create a few filter to try some queries but i doesnt work.
    Any suggestion or idea¿? or example?

  • 7.0 Segmentation: Datasource, Attribute List using InfoSets.

    Hello All,
    Issue: Target group based on attribute List built based on an InfoSet datasource not being populated in Classical Segmentation.
    Steps:
    1. Created InfoSet using table joins- BUT000, BUT020, ADRC, CRMM_BUT_FRG0041, CRMM_BUT_FRG0100.
    2. Created Datasource based on InfoSet
        - RFC Destination: CRM
        - Infoset selected
        Details
        - Business Partner (BUT000-PARTNER_GUID)
        - BP Category (BUT000-PARTNER_GUID)
        (All other fields left blank)
    3. Created Attribute List based on Datasource
    4. Logged in CRM Web UI using Marketing Professional role
    5. Created Profile Set  -> Profile -> Create filter on Attribute List. Search returns zero results.
    Created Query based on Infoset returns results as expected.
    Any suggestions would be great? All above tables are standard with standard fileds. I do not think this will need any function module for conversion to be specified in creation of Datasource unless I am missing something.

    I get a feel that since even the basic attribute lists are not working and you are not able to create target group, it looks like you are not creating the attribute lists in the right way.
    To understand the issue which you are getting, i also tried creating infoset based on the table CRM_MKTTG_BP_CENTRAL.
    Then i created data source based on this infoset.
    Then i tried creating an attribute list based on the above infoset. And here i get the below error which shows that you are not choosing the right Field while creating the Data source. Did you also got the same error ??
    Enter a conversion module
    Message no. CRM_MKTTG_DS_MISC037
    Diagnosis
    The business partner field BUT000-TYPE of InfoSet CRM_MKTTG_BP_CENTRAL does not return the business partner GUID. The Segment Builder therefore cannot generate a target group from this data source.
    Procedure
    In the business partner field for data source CRM_MKTTG_BP_CENTRAL, enter a field which returns the business partner GUID. Alternatively, specify a function module capable of converting the content of the field specified into a GUID.
    After seeing the above error, you might have understood by now that you need a select such type of field which returns the business partner GUID.
    Try using the field "BUT000-PARTNER_GUID" in the Filed "Business partner" in the Details assigment block while creating the Data Source. This time the Data source gets created properly without any error.
    Now try to create target group based on some filter criteria set in this Attribute list. Make sure you have the relevant data. For simplicity try to create filter on the attribute "country".

    can anyone please tell me in which tables the marketing attributes will be stored? I need this to create data sources for the segment builder. I know that I can also use attribute sets but I need an InfoSet where I can join this marketing attributes with other attributes from customers or contact partners.

    Hi Camilla,
    Another option to reading tables : you can use function module CRM_MKTBP_READ_BP_LIST giving the BP guid in table IT_BP_LIST. This will give you the attribute set along with the attributes and their values assigned to the BP.

    Hi Experts,
    I am facing an issue in EHP1 while creating an infoset data source base marketing attribute selection for country or any other standard field for infoset (CRM_MKTTG_BP_ADDR). The values are available while using CR7.0 and can be further use for segmentation but i am unable to get the values for country key, region or other infoset base standard fields while creating an attribute list after creation of data source. Please provide your expert opinion to solve the issue.

    I tried creating filters in Data source level itself but when i press F4 nothing popped up EHP1 but in CR7.0 it do exist that's what my concern is why its not available in EHP1. Any other in particular you want to share will be great help.

  • Wrong number of members in a TG. Infoset query vs Segment Builder.

    Hi gurus,
    I've discovered an issue in our CRM System (BBPCRM 600) and I have no idea of how to solve.
    For our marketing segmentation, we've created a Infoset (SQ02) with a link between standard (BUT000, CRMD_ORDERADM_H, CRMD_OPPORT_H) and custom tables. Over this infoset, I've created an infoset query (SQ01).
    During our test, we've noticed the following: Using the same filters in segment builder and in infoset query, results are not the same!! Segment builder adds more partners to our TG's and even these partner doesn´t met the filters!
    For Example:
    Using POSTING DATE from CRMD_ORDERADM_H as filter: From 01/01/2014 to 01/312014.
    Using infoset query, all partners I'm getting are correct, all of them have CRM operations for this date interval.
    However, using this same filter in segment builder, the resulting list of partners has one more than query list...and this partner doesn´t have any operation for the chosen internval.
    How is this possible? Why results are not the same? Any ideas? Is there any BADI for segment builder that must be checked?

    1) Go to crmd_mktds t-code
    2) Click on Create Data Source to create a new data source
    3) Select the segmentation object from dropdown for example Business Partner
    4) Select the Origion type from dropdown list (Infoset, attribute set, ELM, BI cube)
    5) Give RFC destination if the data is coming from other systems
    6) Select infoset from dropdown list
    7) Enter description
    8) Select BP and category from the dropdown
    9) save
    10) Go back to previous screen (crmd_mktds)
    11) Clcik on create attribute list
    12) enter description
    13) Select category from dropdown
    14) Select Usage ID
    15) select segmentaion object as business partner
    16) Save
    17) click on assign data source
    18) Select the data source created from step 1- 8 and click on tick mark
    19) Now you can see the data source
    20) Click on arrow mark to expand
    21) Select the attributes which you want to use for filtration / see on the web UI
    22) save
    23) log on to web ui using marketing profession role
    24) go segment builder
    25) enter profile name and save
    26) click on the graphical Modeler (JRE must be installed)
    27) In graphical modeler you can see the attibutes created

    Standard InfoSets queries are used in segmentation. Using this you can set any standard field of the BP as a filter criteria (just as you use marketing attributes). SAP provides a a way to use std data (stored in BP transaction) in segmentation via infoset query.
    These InfoSets can be accessed by choosing the input help for the field InfoSet Query in the transaction for maintaining data sources.
    To access this transaction, from the SAP Easy Access Menu, choose Marketing > Segmentation of Business Partners > Marketing Segments > Maintain Data Sources for Segment Builder.
    To define these InfoSets (for example, to view which table joins are used as data sources), use the SAP menu and choose Architecture and Technology > ABAP Workbench > Utilities > SAP Query > InfoSets.
    Double-click on the relevant InfoSet from the list and on the following screen choose for example Join Definition.
    For information on creating you own InfoSets, see the SAP Library under mySAP Technology Components > SAP Web Application Server > ABAP Workbench > SAP Query.

    Target group is nothing but grouping of business partner based on some identical characteristic. These identical characteristics were defined in SAP CRM as 4 different types
    1. Marketing attributes like hobby
    2. Infoset like BP country
    3. From BW like sales volume
    4. Ay External list.
