Infospoke Error

Hello Friends,
I was successful if creating infospoke through the Tcode RSBOH1.
I opted of the option of file download (.cvs) at desktop.
Two files are also downloaded. One contains the name of columns and other has data.
When i open the file with data it show the error as UNABLE TO READ DATA.
Can someone help me with this.

But when i followed the procedure that you suggested, i observed that the file size is 0kb. Where as after execution in RSBOH1 it says <b>Processing of request 240,822 has been completed correctly</b>.
So where do you find is the problem.

This has worked in the past, but failed today with the following error:
/BIC/OHZIS_FII81 could not be removed
There is no short dump in the system around that time. SLG1 shows the failure, but no details. Nothing in system log.
This error message appears in the InfoSpoke monitor screen. How can I get further information on this error (without having to bother DBAs)?
Any idea what has caused this error? Is there anything I can do to prevent such failures in future?

I looked in SE11 just now. Table doesn't exist in the database (but exists in the dictionary, as expected).
Why did the extract fail after successfully deleting the table?

Infospoke error - S:RSB_GUI:070

Hi All,
While working on Infospoke whenever I check it,it gives following error,
S:RSB_GUI:070
Message no. RSB_GUI070
I am not able to figure out the reason as there is no help given on the error.This error is only coming in production system.Even after transporting the infopoke from development system to production it is giving same error.I need immediate help on this. Could anyone help me on this. Proper points will surely be given.

I am not sure but feel it may be something to do with your GUI as the error message mentions S:RSB_GUI:070. Do you have the latest GUI with the patch level? check this with your basis team.

Hi,
This error RSBO320 is usually related to an inconsistency of infospoke internal tables which is will need to be reset manually by SAP developers. So you'll probably be best opening a ticket under BW-WHM-DBA-OHS.

Infospoke error for full load

Experts
when I run full load info spoke through process chain ,It failed ,saying sql error1652. Can you please tell me why this is happening and it is happening only since 2 days. Is it b cos of large volume of data ?

This error occurs due to temp space problem..Unable to extend TEMP segment tablespace...
You need to alter the tablespace TEMP default storage (pctincrease 1) and immediately after alter the tablespace TEMP default storage(pctincrease 0)
Check with your DBA to do this..

I executed the info spoke and in the monitored of the info spoke i got the red request when i check the error it shows
Sytem error:RSDRC/FORM AUTHORITY_CHECK RSDRC/FORM AUTHORITY_CHECK
under data package . so i tried to delete the request but unable to do so.Info poke is delata unable with DB table.
what can be the reason of failing the laod ?
please help me this is in PBI issues

Karthik,
First, word of caution with the logical file destinations... Sometimes they don't work as expected... I had a problem once that BW was ignoring it and still trying to copy the file in the default folder...
Ask your Basis or Security guys to activate a "Trace" for your user and then try to do it again... They'll be able to capture any issue in the Trace Log...

Error while transporting infospoke with BADI in BW7.0

Hi:
We have an infospoke with Transformation ( ie with BADI) in BI7.0.
While transporting to Quality box it gives error.
"Transfer structure /BIC/CZZTXXXXX3 could not be generated
Error when activating InfoSpoke ZTXXXXX3.
Message no. RSOH010 "
Could you please help in rectifying the error.
PS: we tried transporting BADI first and then the infosoke but still its failing.

Error while activating Infospoke

Hi,
I have created an infospoke where i need data from infocube to be extracted to a CSV file.
When i select a local file in the destination tab, the process chain facility is getting disabled BUT the background running is diabled. For the background process to be enabled, i have selected the file destination as the Appliaction server and when i tried to activate it, i am encountering an ABAP run time error which says
SHORT TEXT: Access not possible using NULL object reference
exception : CS_SY_REF_IS_INITIAL
Please ink in if you have any answers to it.

Error while extracting data from ODS using Infospokes - URGENT

Hi all,
I am extracting data from an ODS using infospokes and nothing fancy, no selection criteria but I am getting an error message saying
Syntax error in row3(-> long text) Msg id = "RG" and msgno is 102
Any ideas on how I can see what is the exact error and how to debug this?

Reason and Prerequisites
The data source is an ODS object and the extraction mode is 'delta'. The cause of the error message is that the ODS extractor is unable to select the request ID (InfoObject 0REQUID) from the change log of the ODS object. However, the request ID is mistakenly provided in the field list of the ODS object on the InfoSpoke maintenance screen. --
Solution
Delete the 0REQUID InfoObject from the field list of the InfoSpoke and activate the InfoSpoke. As of the patch mentioned below, the request ID in the template tab is no longer provided.

Import Support Package 16 for 3.0B (BW3.0B Patch 17 or SAPKW30B16) into your BW system. The Support Package will be available once note 571699 with the short text "SAPBWNews BW 3.0B Support Package 16", which describes this Support Package in more detail, has been released for customers.

Error while extracting ODS data using Infospoke

Hello Gurus,
I am not able to extract any ODS data using Infospoke. Let me describe the step by step process:
I have created one infospoke for ODS data and i am selecting a 'File' option in the destination tab of infospoke. We are trying to land this file over to BW Server (on the default directory DIR_HOME). When I start executing the Infospoke in a dialog mode, I am getting the following error in the monitor screen:
- Editing or Reading of data packet cancelled
- System Error: RSDRC/FORM AUTHORITY_CHECK
- Extraction Cube: Error in DataManager API
- Cancelled.
I can see two files created on BW Server in the Transaction screen AL 11. But the data file is empty.
Does anyone know, why is doing this?
Is there any authorization restriction, for extracting this transaction data? (I checked my profile and I have all the authorization granted)
Is there any directory size related restriction, which prevents to extract and land this data over to default DIR?
I am able to extract the Master Data files but not ODS data. Why is that?
any idea or step by step procedure will be highly appreciated.

Hi ,
I am working on SAP BW 3.5.
while downloading the records through infospoke and giving them to the Application server side, I am getting an error "Error in SQL Statement: DBIF_RSQL_INVALID_RSQL".
Daily the Infospoke runs on delta mode. But for downloading of few records i have deactivated the delta and changed it in to Full mode. After downloading the data I again Activated the delta.but while Executing on Background mode I am getting an error mentioned above.
can anyone please suggest a solution for resolving this error?

Hi:
Did you do some recent change in the objects?. I face sometimes this error and it is due to misalignment among the objects in a data flow (cubes, DSOs, transformations, DTPs, etc.).
What you can do is activate everything again.

InfoSpokes with Chain Processer Error.

I have the following problem, I'm working with InfoSpokes chains and processes. But I have been presented a problem when running chains, SAP BI.
Originally the request log contained the following message "The 3rd party status por request ATTRIBUTE_MSGV3 has not yed been set". To correct this applies note 11163109, which stated in its description as follows "..
"Implement this correction as described below. Note that this correction only improves the log message and ensures that request ID is issued. It does not correct the actual cause of the message. *To correct this, the application programing interface (API) for confirming the status of the third party tool must be called for the relevant request."*.
But I still have problems, only change message.
When I run the chain errors still occur. For example I'm running a chain with request ID 2759 and gives me the following message which refers to a previous request ID 2756. The message is as follows
Request Number 2759.
0 DataRecords
Runtime 10 sec.
Run N°1
     0 Data Records
     Runtime 10 Sec.
   Messages for Run
     Extraction is running
     "The 3rd party status for request 2.756 has not yet been set"
     Request 2.759: Error ocurred
Some guidance on how to interpret this message?

hope the previous delta of this infospoke might got failed. set the delta administration of the infospoke to red and start the fresh delta.

I had created info spoke of attribute. My question is when I am able to store it on desktop but not able to store in on application servier I had created all the necessary setting on T-code = File. But still I am facing the same problem. please help me out asap as client is back of me.

InfoSpoke fails with message "Could not open file on application server"

BW Experts,
I created an InfoSpoke that is configured to extract to a flat file. The name of the file is specified using a logical filename. During extraction, the infospoke reports the error message "Could not open file on application server" adnd marks the extraction process as red(failed). I have tried to run the InfoSpoke in background mode and in dialog mode and the same error appears. After i run in dialog mode, i checked SU53 for authorization errors and did not find any. I also tried changing the Logical filename setup in transaction FILE to a more "friendly" directory in which i'm sure i have authorizations (e.g. my UNIX home directory) and im still getting errors.
Can you please share your thoughts on this? Any help will greatly appreciated. I also promise to award points.

Thanks for helping out.
If i configure the InfoSpoke to download to a file using "File Name" option and also check the "Application server" checkbox, the extract works correctly (extraction to the defualt SAP path and filename=infospoke name). If i configure the InfoSpoke to download to the local workstation, the InfoSpoke also works correctly. It's only when i configure it to download to the application server and use the "Logical filename" option, that i encounter a failed extract.
Here are the messages is the Open Hub Monitor:
