Infotype 0185 Personal IDs and time constraint

Hi people,
Can you help me... is it possible to set different time constraint for different subtypes in infotype 0185 Personal ID's and where?
Thank you,
Romano

Hi guys,
thank you for your asnwer, I can see that in table V_T582A we can change time constraint for the whole infotype, but unfortunatelly I can't set different time constraint for different subtype in infotype 0185.
I want to manage that for subtype 01 i have time constraint 2 and for subtype 02 time constraint 03.
It is possible for example for infotype adress (0006) but i don't see where is it possible for infotype 0185.
Thank you.

  • IT-0185 Personal IDs Authorisation

    Hi Friends.
we've configured IT-0185 through dynamic action. When ever we update IT 0002, it asks for IT-0185 info.
Now we want to update IT-0185 through PA30, it is showing error msg "NO READ AUTHORIZATION FOR PERSONAL IDS 98".
Now security team asking us to do necessary changes in Table T77S0 before the security can be adjusted.
Can you please tell me, what are the changes to be done?
    Thanks
    Sam

    hi,
you have to make the following settings in table T77S0:
    AUTSW     ADAYS            15
    AUTSW     APPRO     0
    AUTSW     DFCON     1
    AUTSW     INCON     0
    AUTSW     NNCON     0
    AUTSW     NNNNN     0
    AUTSW     ORGIN     1
    AUTSW     ORGPD     1
    AUTSW     ORGXX     0
    AUTSW     PERNR     1
    AUTSW     VACAU
    AUTSW     XXCON     0
if you dont want the system to look for the authorization check enter '0' and if you want to have auth check enter '1' value in the above abbr.
i think you will not have auth to change these values in the above table. you have to contact security guy.
    reward points if helpful.

  • Address IT 0006 and time constraints

    Hi all,
I am trying to understand the concept of address IT 0006 with relation to time constraints. Can you please provide your valueable inputs along with some examples. I understand the concept of time constraints but trying to get this concept in relation to IT 0006.
    Thanks
    Priyanka

As Sikander mentioned, you should have lots of threads on this already, but to your question what time constraint means to address really is identifying different address subtypes and how they exist within the lifetime of the employee.
For example, Subtype Permananet Address should exist only once for an employee from start to end. If any changes are made, the previous record should be end dated and a new record should begin with changes.
Same is the case with Mailing Address.
However there can be several Emergency Addresses for the employee at the same time.
So different time constraints for different subtypes control this behavior
Check Table: v_T582A for IT6, Time Costraint is T, which means u need to look at the V_T591A table

  • Shortest path with more than one traveler and time constraints

Please have a look at this problem...Thank you..
(the problem is ok with one traveler. but when two or more come into the picture they really mess things up)
    Here it is
I have a number of destinations that devides evenly up between a
number of travelers. (5 travelers with 20 destinations = 4
    destinations each)
All destination can be visited by all travelers but it can ony be visited once
Each destination has to be visited and
each traveler has to visit the same amount of destinations.
The total amount of traveling has to be minimized.
Grid references have been given to work out the distance between each
destination. (the distances have not been worked out prior to the
    start of the problem)
The starting point of each traveler is not at any of the destinations
and is different to each other. This point is also known and can be
used to calculate the distance to any destination.
there is an extra part of the problem (which I think I can sort out but if its of interest here it is any way): Each destination can only be
visited at a certain time of the day (ie between 7- 9 and 9-12 and
    12-3 and 3-6)
A typical problem would have about 300 destinations and about 50
travelers every day. ie about 6 destination a day per traveler.
Could any one please give me an idea of how you would go about working the
routes out for each traveler that minimizes travelling distance as there is no algorithm that does this kind of routing.
I would really like some help with this one please. I have many ideas of how to do it but i really feel like it is not optimised...
I have to complete this in one week and have no AI experiance ( I would like to do this without AI or anything to do with ant colonies and or swarm optimization)
    Thank you.

The reason that the time is in fact a simple constraint is because this is a homework problem and the kids only have a week to work on it. If it were a real world problem you you not conveniently have the number of travelers divide evenly into the number of cities.
If it were not some homework problem you would not have a constraint that reads "Oh by the way, for extra credit, you can only visit some cities at certain times during the day." It would either be a real constraint or not.
The other indication that it is a homework problem is that the student was given a week to do it. I will perhaps be going out on a limb here, but NO reasonable business gives some bozo one week to complete an assignment for which the bozo is so clueless that he has to hit the net and ask random people if they can tell him how to do it.
Had there been any need to model travel time, then velocity of travelers would have been mentioned at some point. If the traveler were actually doing anything in a city, time to load or unload the truck would have been given. And lastly, what real world problem would add a constraint that no two travelers could go to the same city. What if it is shorter to get from A to C by going through B which has already been visited. This constraint was the tip that the solution was a partition of a set of cities.
My gross simplification is merely that this is a homework problem and therfore if I haven't been told otherwise I am free to assume that a traveler moving at infinite velocity is perfectly OK. This means that my traveler waits at the door to a city until it opens, picks off that city and all other in zero time, until it bangs up against a city that opens at a later time, where it must again wait till opening time. The only thing that prevents him from completing his circuit is if an early city comes after a late city. A simple sort is all you need.
Lastly, even if you want to toss in a more complicated velocity model, it does little more than mildly complicate the sort comparison calculation so instead of making the comparison
      boolean ICanMakeIt = city.openingTime <= city[i+1].openingTime
    it becomes
      boolean ICanMakeIt = city.exitTime +
    Traveler[j].vel*dist(i,i+1) <= city[i+1].closingTime
I think you are mistaken in declaring this to be a difficult modeling problem

  • Time Constraint assignement to PD infotypes based on Subtypes.

    Hello All,
Is there a  way to assign Time contraint to PD infotype like 1005 based on Subtypes? If so how can we do this? I tried in table T591A but I guess this table is only for PA infotypes.
    Thanks,

    Hi,
Goto to sm30 and give T777I.  There choose your infotype and click the time constraint. You can give the subtype and time constraint.

  • Infotype 0034 : time constraint

    Hello,
I've an issue with infotype 0034. I set time constraint to 2, but when creating a new occurence, the system doesn't delimit the previous one if it concern a different subtype.
    Can someone please help?
    Kr,
    K

    Dear Karim,
IT-0034(Corporate Functions)  Time constraint is T  that sap standard, which depends upon subtype,
then why are you changing the time constaint to 2.
where as with time constraint T you can see all the records.
in IT-0034 it will ask you for start date and End date of record.
why do you want system to delimit the record ?
i suggest you to use the sttandard one.

    Hi,
Please refer to the document below:
When you update an infotype, old data is not lost but archived for historical evaluation. The system records a specific period of validity for each infotype, This enables the system to store more than one infotype record at the same time, even if their validity periods overlap. This means that the time relationships between infotype records must be defined. The concept of time constraints enables you to do this.
HR master data uses the following three time constraints:
    Time Constraint 1
For the entire time that the employee works at the enterprise, exactly one valid infotype record must exist. The validity periods of the individual records must not overlap. If a new record is created, the system automatically uses the start date of the new record as the delimitation date of the old record. Gaps are only allowed between the employee’s entry date and the start date of the first record.
Time constraint 1 must be used for all of the infotypes containing information that must be available at all times. This is particularly true of personal and organizational assignment data.
If a record is delimited because of time constraint 1, the system displays an appropriate message.
    Time Constraint 2
No more than one valid record can exist at any one time. Records with constraint 2 must not overlap. Their existence is not obligatory. If a new record is created, the system automatically delimits the previous record, if one exists.
If a record is delimited because of time constraint 2, the system displays an appropriate message.
    Time Constraint 3
Any number of valid records can exist at any one time. The individual records do not conflict with each other.
The system also contains the following time constraint indicators:
    Time Constraint A
Infotypes with time constraint A must have no more than one record. The system automatically assigns the record a validity period from January 01, 1800 through December 31, 9999. This validity period cannot be subdivided.
Infotype records with time constraint A cannot be deleted.
    Time Constraint B
Infotypes with time constraint B must have no more than one record. The system automatically assigns the record a validity period from January 01, 1800 through December 31, 9999. This validity period cannot be subdivided.
Infotype records with time constraint B can be deleted.
    Time Constraint T
Infotype records with time constraint T depend on the subtype.
The principles of data entry and time constraints that apply to infotypes ensure that data is consistent and accurate. They also constitute the basis of time recording, payroll accounting, and reporting.

  • Personal Data and Address for Country Grouping 99 - error on ESS

    Hello All,
I have configured personal data and address infotypes in ESS for the country grouping 99.
I have done the following config
    1. Assign Screen Structure to Infotype Versions
    2. Define Active Subtypes and Use Case
    3. Define Country-Specific Applications
    4. Created a Z service and then assigned this service to subarea.
I made use of US service and copied to z.
after the config when i log on to the portal and check the personal data or address links am getting the error:
An exception occurred that was not caught., error key: RFC_ERROR_SYSTEM_FAILURE
    the st22 dump is

An exception occurred that is explained in detail below.
The exception, which is assigned to class 'CX_SY_REF_IS_INITIAL', was not
    caught in
procedure "HRXSS_PER_CLEANUP" "(FUNCTION)", nor was it propagated by a RAISING
    clause.
Since the caller of the procedure could not have anticipated that the
exception would occur, the current program is terminated.
The reason for the exception is:
You attempted to use a 'NULL' object reference (points to 'nothing')
    access a component.
An object reference must point to an object (an instance of a class)
before it can be used to access components.
Either the reference was never set or it was set to 'NULL' using the

I searched in the forum but still am unable to figure it out where i am wrong or missing any config or any other technical error.

INFTY - Now specifies the infotype.
USECASE - Corresponds to the value in the table V_T7XSSPERSUBTYP.
ZEITB - Corresponds to the value in the table V_T591A (V_T582A).
    Page 2
SUBTYPE_TAB - Here, you will find a list of the subtypes that have
already been checked and that are correct.
You then find the subtype in METADATA-SUBTY. However, you must move up
one subroutine in the call hierarchy in advance to do this.
This data makes it easy for you to identify the infotype and the subtype
and correct the inconsistency by making entries in the tables mentioned.
    ie
    T_cd:SE24 >>CL_HRPA_PERNR_INFTY_XSS >> CHECK_USECASE_WITH_CONSTRAINT >>
    for
    usecase = A1, A4, B1, B4 (table V_T7XSSPERSUBTYP)
    you need to have
    zeitb = '1' OR zeitb = '2' (table V_T591A)
    for
    usecase = A2, A3, A5, B2, B3, B5
    you need to have
    zeitb = '2'
    for
    usecase = A6, B3
    you need to have
    Zeitb = '3'

  • Change Time Constraint

    Hi All,
What will be the effect on data if we change the time constraint from 3 to 2.

Infotypes or subtypes with time constraint 2 can only have at most one record for a given time period there can be gaps between periods if record over lap the system adapts the previous record accordingly by deleting ,dividing,or delimiting
Example of an infotype with tome constratint 2 is the subtype spouse (1) in infotype family\related person
    this is regarding infotype 2
And time constraint 3 will have gaps between records or over lapping records

  • Created three new users without Apple IDs and they can't log into either of my Macbook Pro or Mac Mini running Mountain Lion.

I have created three new users without Apple IDs and they can't log into either of my Macbook Pro or Mac Mini running Mountain Lion.  These accounts are for my kids and originally were setup with parental controls and time constraints.  Thinking this was the problem I removed the time constraints, removed the parental controls, deleted and re-added them, and made them standard users.  I have reinstalled, used disk utility to repair permissions, and made them admins.   Any help is appreciated.

Users don't need Apple ID's. That's not the issue. Have you tried repairing permissions their accounts?
    http://osxdaily.com/2011/11/15/repair-user-permissions-in-mac-os-x-lion/
Repairing User Permissions in OS X Lion
You’ll need to reboot to perform this, and then use the same resetpassword utility that is used to change passwords in Lion, but instead choosing a hidden option.
When you use the Disk Utility app and Repair Permissions — it doesn’t actually repair the permission settings on folders and files in your Home folder where your documents and personal applications reside.
In Lion, there is an additional Repair Permissions application utility hidden away. This tool is located inside boot Repair Utilities. Here’s how to access it.
Restart Lion and hold down the Command and R keys.    You will boot into the Repair Utilities screen. On top, in the Menu Bar click the Utilities item then select Terminal.
In the Terminal window, type resetpassword and hit Return.
The Password reset utility launches, but you’re not going to reset the password. Instead, click on the icon for your Mac’s hard drive at the top. From the drop-down below it, select the user account where you are having issues.
At the bottom of the window, you’ll see an area labeled ‘Reset Home Directory Permissions and ACLs’. Click the Reset button there.
The reset process takes a couple of minutes. When it’s done, quit the programs you’ve opened and restart your Mac. Notice that ‘Spotlight’ starts re-indexing immediately.

  • Time Constraint on Corporate Function Infortype

    Hi everyone,
If it's possible, I'd like to know how to configure the time constraint of Corporate Function infotype.
The Time Constraint settings are incorrect for Infotype 0034 (Corporate Function). There must be only one valid record existing/active, and it should not permit gaps either.
For Example, a record is existing from 01.10.2010 to 31.12.9999. So when the user creates a new record from 01.11.2011 to 31.12.9999, the previous record should automatically be delimited (end date of 31.12.2010) when the record is saved.
If ithis is not possible, I'd like to know why.
    Thank you so much.

    Hi,
Go to the table v_T582a and check what is the Time constraint is define there. I trust by default it should be T. But would like to know which is the record you want to maintain here, because there are many subtype in infotype 0034. And as per the standared function of this infotype T is the right time constraint.

  • Entry screen for Time constraint class

    Hi All,
What should be the "Entry screen and Time constraint class" in Determine Entry screen number for Time constraint class.
    Please do help me.
    Regards
    Jagadeesh Reddy

    Hai..
    It depends on the requirement...
The following screens are currently available:
    Absences:  - 2000  Absences (general)   - 2001  Quota deduction
      - Attendances:   - 2050 Quota deduction   - 2051 No quota deduction
    And abt Time constraint ..
A: The old record is delimited.
E: It is not possible to create a new record.
W: It is possible to create a new record, but the old record
         remains unchanged.
N: As for indicator W, but no display.
Time Constraint Class is basically how u want the system to treat when u try to create a new record during a period where a record already exists..

  • Time constraints for infotype 0185

    Hi experts,
    Need your suggestions,
Is it possible to change the Time constraints for infotype 0185. What will be the impact if i change from 2 to 3 time constraints. Please explain...
    Shiv.

    hi,
what i meant was standard time constraints should not be changed unless there is no other option.
changing the time constraint is a quick fix solution.
these standard time constraints are set after a lot of thought.
like he referred 185  which is personnel ids.
here you can see that it has sub types each sub type can have one record.
you cannt have two passports .
you cannot have two pan numbers etc.
lets us sasy the end user enters some data wrongly and then he realises and creates another record for the same with out deleting the old one.
    the system will take it.
but as you can see the data is already duplicated and it gives errors if some work flow or some other functionality is written basing on that input.

  • Change Time Constraint for Personal Data InfoType

    Hi,
How to change the Time Constraint for Personal Data InfoType.
I tried to do it in Customisation Procedure --> Infotypes, but the option to change Time Constraint is disabled for Infotype 0002.
    Thanks

    Hi,
you can change time constraints in general attributes of infotype attributes, this can be done through table maintenace view V_T582A.
But note that we cannot change the time contraints for mandatory infotyepe of personnel in an organization i.e -0000,0001,0002.
ex:- without personal details like names no personnel will exist in an organization.

  • Change time constraint of Infotype 0006 subtype 1 and subtype 2

    Hi
Can anyone tell me how to change the TC of infotype 0006 subtype 1 and subtype 2.
Currently I tried to change the TC in table V_T582A but its giving me an error : "Text maintenance not permitted as infotype part of Data Sharing (T582G)  "
    Can anyone please advise.
    Currently the TC is T
I want to change it to 2.

    hi ,
you can use SE38 to create a report like :
    to change the time constraint for IT0006 +subty 1 + 2
    REPORT  ZTEST.
    tables: t591a.
data: wt_tc type table of t591a.
    select * from t591a into table wt_tc where infty = '0006' AND
                                                 ( subty = '1' OR
                                                  subty = '2').
    if sy-subrc = 0.
    loop at wt_tc into t591a.
t591a-zeitb = 'x'. "new TC that you need
    modify table t591a from t591a.
    endloop.
