Infotype - Internal Control

Hi Gurus,
I stored personnel card no. of the employees of our organization in Infotype 32. I am able to get the report of the same thru Adhoc Query.
Sometimes it might happen that particular employee loses his personnel card. The card no is again updated by going into Infotype 32 by giving him new card no from a new date.
But when I am trying to get the report of the cardno from the date when it has got changed, I am unable to get the report.
Kindly tell me how to get a report so that I can get the report of the date from which the card no has changed.

Try copying the existing record in IT0032 with the new date, instead of updating it.

Post Implementation Internal Control review

Can anybody assist with an audit program and/or standard checklist/procedures for conducting an Internal Control review of Oracle Financials once the implementation is complete and the system has been in use for a few months?
Note: Does not need to cover the Technical aspects of the system.

Review/Audit has to take place each and every phase of implementation such as:
1. Audit is to be done from As Is/To be to BBP- whether all the business processes are mapped in BBP.
                                                                            Check whether any change management issues are defined are not
2. Audit is to be done on BBP - Whether the standanrd SAP/Developments are meeting the user requirements or not
                                                  Identified GAPs are correct or not
3. Audit is to be done on Realization - Check whether all the proceesses defined in the BBP are mapped in SAP or not
                                                             Check the configuration documents with the actual configurations in DEV/QAS
                                                             Thurve testing has to be done at the time of realization- Positive and negitive
                                                             Test cases/test scenarios are to be prepared to make assesment
4. General - Training at each and every level is essential
                     User should acquint to use SAP system
The above are need to be checked while implementation. Post implementation review has to be done before implementation partner is getting sign off for Go Live. Once proper testing is done the Go Live phase is to be signed off.

FB60 Internal Control

My client is looking for options in meeting internal controls surrounding FB60 invoices. Workflow is not an option at this time.

If you do not intend to use workflow for parked invoices or invoice verification, then there could an option to park always the invoices and to implement validations (BTEs) as approval steps.

Add ifnotype field to an Infotype Screen Control for Infotype 0006

How do I add an infotype field to an Infotype Screen Control for Infotype 0006. We need to add an additional Field for mobile phones. I have lloked in screen control (V_T588M) with no joy.

You may copy your current screen into a new screen (e.g. 2099) for MP000600 and add the 2 fields into the element list as well as the screen layout of screen 2099. Then set an appropriate Modification Group 3 to these 2 fields in T588M detail screen for screen 2099. Configure feature P0006 and table T588M to set screen 2099 for molga 16.

Infotype Screen Control (T588M) not working for additional fields to contro

Hi,
I have a requirement to enhance IT 0002 with fields LNAMR, FNAMR and CNAME. Also field preferred language.
I have included LNAMR, FNAMR & CNAME as additional fields in the Include Screen 2040 elements, lay editor and maintained table T582c where i have assigned enhancement to the standard screen. These fields are getting displayed in infotype 0002
But the issue is Infotype Screen Control (T588M) is not working for these fields to control the display or hide.
Has any of you come across this issue? what could be the reason for this issue? Please suggest ASAP.

A few basic questions:
Does Oracle Internal Controls manager come free as part of the EBS, or do you have to pay extra?
Do you have to define the "controls" yourself, or does the ICM come with a list of controls to check for?
Where can I see a list of the controls the tool is testing for?

Management of Internal Controls

Hi,
Can someone help me with the MIC(Management of Internal controls). This is regarding the "Test of control effectiveness". There are several testers who can test the effectiveness of a control, the respective test results are written to test logs. Once the tester tests the control and submits it by clicking on the "Submit" button, there is some validation to be done. Since this is a custom validation, we either need a user exit or some BAPI. Since the MIC currently used here is SAP delivered, we cannot change the Std SAP code.
Can anyone tell me of any user exit through which we can do the validation.

We have configured Management Of Internal Control(MIC) on ECC6.0.Actually, its a part of "FINBASIS" component.This is a component to be compliant with SOX authority.Can anyone plz help me answering the following questions:
1)Responsibilities of each user (like Org. Owner, Org Power Owner etc)
2) What are Account Groups used for?
3) What are Financial Assertions?
4) What is Chart of Accounts?
5)What is "Change type" used for?

All fields are not displaying in the infotype screen control

Hello Everybody,
All the fields from infotype 2001 and 2002 are not getting displayed in the screen control for these infotypes and
when I checked the screens for these infotypes, the mod. groups/functions has not been set for field 'Group3' for those
infotype fields.
Is there a way I could set this field ' Group3' for these infotype fields also ? Can it be done thru screen exit and if yes could
anyone tell me what's the screen exit for these infotypes ?

solved it myself.

Adding a column in infotype(table control)

i want to add a column in table control of infotype 0591. i need to add age for every nominee.
i cant edit standard sap mp prog. so i thouhgt of copying it into zprogram, and now i have to assign it to that standard infotype so that this infotype will trigger my zmp program.
any suggestions on this?

You cannot modify or copy the standard SAP generated program. Say if you wanted to add new field you could have done by doing the view deifnition for that infotype in tbale T582C or T582V. But since you want to add a new table control column i think you may have to create new infotype in PM01, else the std. functionality may be affected. You can check SAP help for creation of new infotypes.

Dropdown list in infotype table control

Hello,
I am creating a custom HR infotype with dropdown list field. This field holds a key but displays a text from text table. Dropdowns contents are dependant on Start Date of the infotype record and I am using PBO module to fetch this data. Everything works fine except one detail. Infotype has automatically generated overview table control, which holds various data including Start Date of infotype record and the dropdown field in question. And even that would work well if not for the date, in case when I drop the date check dropdowns in all rows get populated. Currently it seems to only use the date on the last row of the table control and subsequently fails to correctly populate dropdowns in all other rows. With no access to SAP code which populates table control, how do I get the date for each individual row?

For this you have to create 2 nodes
1. A node which will be bound to the table. This will be a singleton node.
2. A node for dropdown. This node should be inside the table node and should be a non-singleton one.
Check the singleton properties of both the nodes above.
Whenever you will create an element for table node, an instance of the dropdown node will be automatically created.
To set the value in this dropdown at leadselection, you can use the below logic
1. Assume you know the value of the fruit to be set in the dropdown
2. for(int i = 0; i < wdContext.nodeFruit().size(); i++)
          if( wdContext.currentTableNode().nodeFruit().getFruitElementAt(i).getFruit().equals(fruitName) )
                wdContext.currentTableNode().nodeFruit().setLeadSelection(i);
                break;
