Infotype Metastars in HRFORMS

Hey Experts,
If you have an HRFORM, type payslip/payroll, is it possible to have your infotype metastars retrieve ONLY the data valid on the selected period? For instance Period 1 goes from 01-01-2011 to 31-01-2011. As i see, it always fills the stars from infotypes with ALL the records of that infotype. If someone can point out where you can make that selection, that would be great!

Hi,
I am trying to add Custom table and Infotype Fields to the HRFORMS but i couldn not...
1) I have created Custom MetaNet in HRFORMS_METADATA
2) Created Meta Dimension and MetaStar for thr new fields
3) When I use these custom metenet to crate Info stars in HRFORMS transaction, I am getting erros for DDIC activation.
Does anyone has any idea or am i missing any steps?

HRFORMS : How Can Country Specific MetaStar Be Created

Hi Experts
I would like to find out how can Country Specific Metastars be created.
For example, in standard SAP HRFORM for China (Country Grp 28 HR Form Name SAP_PAYSLIP_CN), there exist a Meta Star EMP_CNAME_CN with associated MetaDimensions DATE_RANGE, EMPLOYEE, EMP_CNAME_CN under SAP_DEFAULT
Another example is SAP HRFORM for Singapore (Country Grp 25 HR Form Name SAP_PAYSLIP_SG), there exist a Meta Star PERSONAL_ID_SG with associated MetaDimensions ASSINGMENT, EMPLOYEE, INPERIOD and NRIC_SG under SAP_DEFAULT.
Points will be given for useful answers on how metastars (specifically country specific ones) can be created for downstream used in Infonet during HRFORM build of payslip.

Managed to sort out Country Specific Metanets can be set in HRFORMS > Utilities > HR metadata workplace
However, if either one of SAP_DEFAULT or ZSAP_DEFAULT metanet is used to assign to a country that standard HRform is not available, the error message
"The DDIC Structure HRF_PAY<country>_PE_PA_RESULT for Country <molga> Does Not Exist" will appear"
Any idea how can a metanet be created for any given country if standard SAP HRFORM structure has not been set up for the country ?

HRFORMS Workplace Infotype 0008 in generated print program

Hi folks
We have a problem with generated print programs for time sheets. Generated by the HRFORMS workplace.
Even when the workplace generate the printprogram for the SmartForm, accordingly a code line is generated as the 1st in the PrintProg.
INFOTYPES: 0000, 0001, 0008.
The comment tells us that this will be necessarily for authority checks on the LDB for pay roll.
Due to company restrictions we don't want to give key users the authorization for info type 0008.
Has anybody an idea what's to do to eliminate the info type 0008 from the printprogram w/o a modification.
We would appreciate for any help to this subject, kindly.

can you let me know for which country are you trying to generate the HR form for payslip?
There are certain countries for which payslip isnt supported.
For such countries you get a similar error.

Data from various types in HRFORMS

Hi all,
I am using HRFORMS for printing the payslip ( and not pe51) . But our payslip have some data from time tables too. If I keep our form catagory as payslim renumeration, the metastars of time are inactive in that and not displayed. If I choose form type as time, it do not shows payroll metastars. But our payslip requires both type of data.
Can anyone please suggest what to do here?

in the example https://gist.github.com/ricma/cf81829181cfd4e86354 the JSONModel is used. JSONModel is a client-side model. Each of the two tables (person table, phone table) needs its own data and model. In order to synchronize models after editing a table cell, two conversion functions are needed. One function converts person data into phone data, the other converts phone data into person data (see example for implementation):

The solution works but has some disadvantages:
data and models have to be synchronized manually
for n models, 2n-2 conversion functions are needed
every modification causes creation of at least n-1 data structures and models

Metanet - own MetaStar doesn't accept Attributs of Dimension

I'm creating a form displaying Personal Infotype Datas instead of Payroll Datas.

The Dimension SI_KEY_DE contains Keys and Attirbuts. In the Originanl MetaStar SOCIAL_INS_DE and a copied MetaStar the Attributs of Dimension SI_KEY_DE can be found under RegisterCard MetaFields.
As Soon as I create a new MetaStar the Attributs of Dimension SI_KEY_DE are not inserted in REgisterCard MetaFields. Therefore when generating the Print-Programm of the Form the Attributs (Ex. AVKEY_OFFICIAL) are not in the importing Parameter at Call Function even they are defined under Export in SE37.

I guess you will not be able to pass the data into the Standard Form, so i would suggest you ko kindly copy the standard form and make a Y program and then you can use it...hope your problem can be solved by this.

i have created a custom MetaNet , Metadimension ,Meta fields using tcode HRFORMS_METADATA,
but i unable to get include this custom metanets in to the HRFORM tcode .
my requirement is to create a HRFORMS using the custom infotypes tables , how to achieve this ..

Get info from metastars

Hi everybody,
I have created a Form in HRFORMS TX.
I need to get information of payroll in order to show it in the form. But when i put a break-point in the interface of the form i can see that the structures that are related to the infostars do not contain data.
What am i doing wrong?

Are you using standard Metanet or one create by yourself?
Aren´t you getting any data at all or just any specifical data (like the wage types)?
Standard Metanet should work ok and even if you create your own Metanet you probably have some base from the standard, so you should be getting some information. In tcode HRFORMS in the Infonet you can check your infodimensions and in the infodimensions check the Selection tab to check if you are having some filter for what you are selecting.
Depending on the Metanet you are using I would tend to think that it may be more an issue of how the form it´s been build and not a Metanet or Metastars issue.
Hrforms has many, many details so it may be different things. If you one answer the questions I asked and I or someone else may give you more help.

Error in creation of custom PD infotype

Hi,
I have a task of creating a custom PD infotype(p9xxx). I created HRI9xxx structure with all the custom fields and when I try to create the infotype using tcode PPCI(selected 'field infotype' option and create button in the 'infotype' block was pressed), it gives an error message that p9xxx-begda is not in ABAP dictionary and then it gives me list of screens, module pools and tables created. This custom infotype entry does not exist in T777I. I have tried regenerating it and same problem persists. If anyone knows the solution, please do let me know.

I have created a custom infotype with fields currency amount and currency field .
While I am creating a query for it its giving an error
Message no. AQ_AD_HOC221 Error when generating the report(see long text )
I tried to execute the standard program RPUMS40CCI but still I am facing same error .
I have also maintained table T777i for my infotype but still problem exists.

Error while transporting modification in module pool of a specific infotype

HI experts,
While transporting some modifications that have be done on the PAI of a module pool of a specific infotype, we have an error with code return = 8, the error is --> Original object R3TRPROGMP900730 must not be changed!!!
