Infotypes and subtypes ESS WebDynpro

Hi,
How to find which infotype(and subtype) the specific ESS WebDynpro is storing(retrieving) information from?? There is not much information on ESS Business package or help.sap.com. There is not much on Service market place also....
I am also looking for information on all the WebDynpros of ESS Business Package.

Business requirement is the new field should display the list entry in Infotype 2001 for the calendar year as selection option for employee. they would like to know ITEL subtype claim,
Example.employee no: EE#9941
As per screen shot you may see for EE#9941 there are 2 Leave requests.
So in the leave details the selection drop down menu option or any other way should be display 2 lines.

Address (IT0006): Sub type may be Permanent, Communication, etc
Family / Dependent Members (IT0021): Sub type Spouse, Family, Dependent etc
Obects on Loans (IT0040): Sub type Laptops, Projector etc
Comminucations (IT0105) : Sub type Mail, Telephone etc
These are some std IT for ur eg., The IT sub types are created based on the req. If you want to know clearly abt the sub types for the available infotype Goto SPRO>Personnel Management> Personnel Administration--..... Infotypes .....

how to create custom infotype and how to configure with its subtypes. when i am creating infotypes i am not getting how to configure subtypes.

Hi Kiran,
Please fallow the below steps to create the custom infotype. If you have any quires let me know.
For Creation of Infotype first Go to Transaction PM01, Enter the custom Infotype number which you want to create, it should be a 4 digit number and have to start with 9xxx.
then select the `Employee Infotype' radio button
after that select the `PS Structure Infotype'
then click on Create A separate table maintenance window appears
then Create a PS structure with all the fields you want on the infotype
Save and Activate the PS structure
now Go back to the initial screen of PM01
Click on `All' push button. It takes a few moments
Click on `Technical Characteristics. Infotype list screen appears
Click on `Change'(pencil) button
Now select your Infotype and click on `Detail' (magnifying glass) button
Give `T591A' as subtype table & also Give `T591S' as subtype txt tab
Give your subtype field as subtype field & Save and come back to PM01 initial screen
Click on `Infotype Characteristics' Infotype list screen appears
Click on `Change' (pencil) button & on New Entries
and then Enter your Infotype number and short text Here we have to set different Infotype Characteristics as per the requirement. (Better open another session with some standard Infotype's infotype characteristics screen and use as the reference
to fill yours). Now save ur entries
Now the Infotype is created and ready to use.
If you want to change the layout of the Infotype as per your
requirement
In the PM01 initial screenSelect `Screen' radio button and give
2000 as the screen name, then click on edit.
In the next screen.. Select `Layout Editor' and click `Change'.
Screen default layout appearshere you can design/modify the
screen..change the attributes of the fields..etc.
Save and activate. (Don't forget to `Activate at every level)

Time constraint of Infotype 0006 subtype 1 and 2

Hi All,
Currently the TC of infotype 0006 subtype 1 is 1.
I have changed it to 2, so that the gaps are there but no overlapping.
However, when I go in SAP and create a new record, its delimiting the previous record. But if I click on change button, its overwriting the original record instead of delimiting it.
Please advise what can be done regarding the same.

So that means, whenever an employee updates his address from the front end, the create address standard BAPI should be fired to update the data in R/3.
This will delimit the previous record, since I have maintained TC as 2 for subtype 1 and 2.
Please correct me if I am wrong.

What is infotype 0105 and subtype 9050 updation?

I got a spec, need to notify supervisor thru mail, whether pernr attached to a position, with failure or success message.
But I need to update Infotype 0105 and subtype 9050.
Where can I see whether these 2 updated or not.

Relation into P_ORGIN and INFOTYPE 105 SUBTYPE 0001

Hello, at the moment I have a problem, I add the user's name in the infotipo 105 and subtype 0001 but this cause that the user can see his data in the infotipo 0001, when at level of P_ORGIN one has specified that alone he can see personal to his position by means of the organizational key.
Does this infotipo have some precedence on the P_ORGIN?

Add Infotype 77 on ESS Screen

Hi,
I am supposed to create the Infotype 77 screeen in WD Java and add it under ESS Personal Info. I do have knowledge in Webdynpro Java but am not updated on FPM. Can some one let me know step by step procedure to accomplish this.
Also I believe there are some RFC's in backend which can be used...

You can develope this application by two ways ....i.e
Webdynpro Java and
Webdynpro ABAP
If you are doing form Webdynpro ABAP then you need to from SE80 ...then form there you need to create Webdynpro application
Then similary it would create the FM for the same ......
in that FM you need to give the following RFC's
HRXSS_PER_P0077_CA ESS PersInfo: Access infotype 0077 CA
HRXSS_PER_EDIT_P0077_CA Select the given record for edit

Error : 'No object identification permitted for infotype 0582, subtype LTA'

Hi Experts,
               While executing the program 'HINUINFO_UPDATE'
i am getting an error 'No object identification permitted for infotype 0582, subtype LTA'.
               After the approval for LTA claim is done in ESS i have executed the program 'HINUINFO_UPDATE' to update he infotypes 15 and 582. Infotype 15 is getting created but while creating the infotype 582 system gives the above error message.
             In the detailed error log system gives the following message.
                "You attempted to access a data record with the object identification 1. However, according to the Customizing settings, object identifications cannot be used for subtype LTA of infotype 0582".
        Can anybody please assist me how to solve this problem. Helpful answers will be rewarded.

In infotype 0185 -> subtype 04 Driving LIcense Taiwan is defaulted.. I want to make that value blank such that User can select manually from dropdown Country Grouping 40 India..
Can anybody tell me how to modify this field..is there any feature..

Dropdown option is already there..since in PA30 -> 185 -> subtype 04 License it is showing default value, but whereas we can edit select some other country and save, but since it is showing default it is showing default even in ESS.
Im not able to understand how to make the field blank.

ESS WebDynpro Appilication with Repetitive structure

I am trying to develop an ESS Webdynpro application for Infotype P0585 (Section 80) P0591 (Nominee Details), both these infotypes have repetitive structure.
There is no screen structure or RFC's(For Read, Modify, Edit Operations) for these Infotypes.
We are using ECC 5.0 (Software Component: EA-HR(SAP R/3 Enterprise HR Extension) Support Package Level : 09 )
I understand that customising for repeat Structure can be done by making an entry in the tables T588AUTO_MAP, T588AUTO_TABLE (Mapping for Conversion of Repeat Structure/Tables), but both these tables do not permit entry.
Any guidelines in developing Webdynpro application for services that use infotypes that have repetitive structure and implementing conversion class for the above infotype.

There are some modifications to be done in the Output Table Conversion Method inside the CL_HRPA_UI_CONVERT class for IT0585/6. The screen structure's was not getting copied properly and the Object Key of the Line-Records were lost inside this method somewhere. These changes are been rectified now and will be working by the end of the week.
As for the Entry in the T588AUTO_TABLE , it has been done for P0585/6 .

You can use additional wage type (infotype 0015)
and subtype voluntary tax std is MVT1 as per SAP
if you maintain 0.01 value here and indicating the month
SAP calculated income tax is supressed and this is how u can stip income tax deduction for a month
