Inheritance of internal orders via org units

Hello,
Are the internal orders(FICO) inherited from an org unit to its depending units? Do we need to activate any switch in T77S0 or is there another customizing point?
Best regards,
Karim

Hi Marcin,
Great day!
If the reason of changing the settlement rule is you have to correct the previous one and that there has been a settlement before, then you can no longer change it. All you have to do is to double-click that settlement rule then fill-out the field - "valid to." Then create another one or a correct one.
You may use the following BAPI/Function Module to update your settlement rule via the interface:
K_SETTLEMENT_RULES_UPDATE
Hope this helps.
Thanks!

  • Posting to internal order via ME23n - PO

    Hi,
I have set up the releavant budget profiles, linked to the internal order and activated the budget control via KO22 as well.
When posting to the internal order via FI, F-02, I can get the warning message set if I have burst the budget for the internal order. However, when i post to the internal order through PO, there was no warning message display when I saved the PO.
Why is this so ? Can the warning or error messge appears in the MM module when rasing the PO if the order has burst the budget ?
    Please advise
    Angel.

    Hi Angel
    Yes, its possible
    1. Check if Commitment Management is active in your Contr Area in OKKP
    2. Check if Commitment management is active in your int Order type
    3. Specify a cost element in your PO..

  • PA and PSA Inheritance issue from Org Unit

    Hi,
I am trying to create an Org Unit with effective from today or a future date. When I do this, PA and PSA is not getting inherited for the newly created Org Unit.
But when I create an Org Unit with effective from past date, this issue is not there and works fine perfectly.
Note: The issue is there in the Development Client as of now. But there is no issue in quality. There was a recent patch that gets updated in Dev system. Not sure whether patch is an issue.

  • Goods Receipt and Amoratization to Internal Orders (CO)

    Dear SAP Gurus -
Please could you kindly assist in this matter.
Our Production department is unable to upload the plan cost / unit cost to the 1st impression production order number, as stock was received before for the old title.
Instead of creating new ISBNs the business used these existing 40 ISBNs and just changed the  titles.
As such the plan cost /unit cost was uploaded to 2nd impression 02, goods
receipt and actual invoice received also captured into 2nd impression 02.
However for the internal order via KO03 for the 40 new titles were captured into 1st impression '01'
Production dept is able to upload the plan cost
/ unit cost to the first cost internal order the last two digits carry 01 and
actual invoice received is captured into 1st impression first cost 01.
Will the First cost internal order amortised for 12 months upon the goods receipt.
Question Can the 1st impression 01 first cost order internal order created via KO03 read the goods receipt
which is captured in 2nd impression 02 in production order?
I believe the business want to know if the goods receipt they have done against Production order 02 will trigger the amortisation of the costs on First cost internal order 01.
So basically the concern is that the first cost internal order number 01 for these 40 titles maybe will be amortised upon
the actual goods receipt as the receipt is captured in 2nd impression 02 for the production order.
    Please provide some feedback.
    Thanks.

    Hello,
I try it from development environment , Create the  transport organize and transport it to product environment, then use SM56 transaction for reset buffer ( object CO_ABRECHN ) and put the NR status. so, you can transport it without preoccupation.

  • PA30 - Infotype 27 related to internal order activation

    Hello,
    I have an issue here.
Currently my company is using outsoucing services to a 3rd party vendor. in our inhouse, we have OM and PA without payroll activiation function. All master data or OM master data are send through interface to 3rd party vendor.
Since 3rd party payroll golive, we have enter internal order via PA30 without creating internal order master via KO01.
Suddenly, our vendor  system update SAP support package 61 (ECC 5.0), with SAP note 822452/1324033. The functionality/behaviour change.
Now the user no longer enter directly via PA30 . The new procedure is they must entered internal order master via KO01 and then create PA30 IT27 - cost distribution.
The question i need to ask i know in order to activate internal order management we have to set img config via tcode OKKP (activate components/indicator)
Under the order management activation, there are 4 choices
    - component not active
    - component active
    - component activefor validation
    - component active for existence validation
may i know which of the above 4 choices  which need affect the SAP note  822452/1324033?

    Hi,
Under order management, select Component active.

  • Cost center and Org unit relationship.

    Hi Guys,
I need quick help from any one of you.
Actually our org stucture is like Root-> company->plants-> costcenters( deparments)- users.
so we create org unit in the structure with some 100001 and assign users for that cost center  org unit , so by doing this costcenter attribute =100001will be inherited from the cost center org unit to all the users under that org unit.
but now there is a requirement for creation 1500 users and we have many such costcenter org units in the structure.
The business will provide the cost center I need to identify the org unit for that cost center in the structure then only I can assign a set of users for that 100001 costcenter. But to do that I have lots of such cost center org units.
So if there is a any table or report available in the system where I can get the details of the description ( meaning Basic data descrition)  which we enter while the while creating the org unit and the  Org unit number which gets generated when we save.
I would like to search for that relation .Please help me with this information.

  • Internal Order && Assets

When we create an internal order via KO01 the fields "Investment profile" and "Investment reason" on the Investments tab are mandatory fields.  This leads to the following warning message:
"New order: System status requires an AuC"
and the system automatically opens the "Create asset: initial screen" screen.
We are now trying to do the same in a program, but how can I create an asset that is linked to this internal order?  I already tried BAPI_FIXEDASSET_CREATE and INVEST_ASSET_MAINTENANCE but this does not seem to work.
Anybody who knows how to do this?

  • Cost Center Inheritance from Org Unit

    Good day all,
Can someone please advise regarding cost center inheritance from org units?
I understand the inheritance concept, however simple need to know if the CCenter is added to the org unit via A011 relationship, does the system physically create a A011 relationship on the position inhertiting the cost center from the org or does the system simply pick up the realtionship from the org unit relationsip for use in IT0001 field KOSTL (cost center)?
Thanks guys, have a lovely day!
    Christy

    Hi Christy,
As we know cost centre(K) is an unusual object in OM.Two type of objects internal  whose master record are in database table beloging to sap erp hcm and eexternal object whose master data belong to other application areas.Cost centre is an external object that is used to represent origin of costs.Inheritance concept is on the basis of whoch cost centre are assigned in org plan.
directly related cost centre is called master cost centre and they are made via A011 cost centre assignment relationsip.they can be made at org unit, position or work centre and nornmally its org unit that common.Org unit at the top are asisgned the cost centre as a best practise so that all the org units below or reporting will inherit the same.
Similarly multiple cost centre assignments can also e made through 1018 infotype(cost centre distribution).Inheritance also applied to them aswell.
    Hope this helps.

  • Orgchart org unit display order

    Hello,
We are implementing Orgchart Accelerated.  Our customer would like to arrange the display order of organizational units based on a criteria and not alphabetically by org unit name, like it is done in the standard version of the product.
Is there a way to do this?
    Thanks,
    Laurent

Yes.  Are you doing this in live or staged?
If you want to sort by a field already available in the field set then you can do this via the Administrator console (note this only allows for sorting by asc order).  To sort descending you will need to make a small change in the AppResources.xml  ... look for attribute "defaultsort=" and change from default value of asc to desc in relevant hierarchy configuration.
If the field isn't available then doing it in live will be tricky ... doing it staged will involve extract the field you want to sort on and sorting based on this. If it is an order based on a combination of fields then previously I've added a "sort order" column and populated using SQL statements then used this in the application to sort on.

  • Scrap HU via HUMO - mvt type 551 doesn't req internal order

    Hi there --
I want to require Internal Order (CO/PP order) on movement type 551 / scrap transactions. I made the CO/PP order a required entry via OMBW, and now when I process a 551 via MB1A, the internal order is required as expected. However, if I scrap a handling unit via HUMO (Edit > Change HU Posting > Other Postings > Pick for scrapping), the system does not require (or even allow) me to enter an internal order. I am able to save the transaction, and a 551 movement is processed without an internal order on the FI posting.
Any ideas on what's going on here and how I can ensure that the order number is required in HUMO for scrap txns???
    Thanks!
    Allison

I logged an OSS note with SAP about the inability to support the internal order number entry via the HUMO transaction.
    They replied:
Unfortunately there is no standard possibility to make this field
available for any movements with HUMO (Main Program SAPLHUMO) in
standard. You only will reach your expectation with a modification in
the logic of the SAP Standard solution. Please check note 170183.
The customizing table MIGO_CUST_FIELDS, is where fields are set to
obligatory or optional.  This table is specifically for setting fields obligatory or optional
when the movement is done through the transaction MIGO and other IM
transactions. The table description for MIGO_CUST_FIELDS as follow-
[MIGO: Field Selection per Movement Type]
Has anyone attempted this type of Mod?

  • Need help in understanding FA acquisition via Internal Order

    Hi Gurus
I need your help in understanding the FA acquisition via Internal Order. The process we are following is that we create AUC using the AUC asset class and enter that AUC number in the settlement rule while creating IO. Once IO budget is approved, we release the IO. Once GR is completed, we do the Invoice receipt for the PO, followed by settlement of IO against the AUC. Afterwards, we create fixed asset in AS01 and enter this asset number in the settlement rule for the AUC in AIAB and settle the AUC to Fixed asset for the costs.
My question is that during all this process, I don't see the PO information in the AUC record. When I display AUC, under the Enviornment tab, I see the Purchase order link but when I click it, there is nothing in there. The reason could be that we are creating AUC seperatly and not from within the IO where it says create AUC. I am not sure what is the best way for the whole process.
I would be thankful if you can guide me.
    Thanks,
    Shalu

  • Internal orders posting - unit DAY transformation

    Hi Community,
We are using mySAP ERP 2005 and we have a problem with the unit in the internal orders. When we want to post a normal internal order (Scrn variant Cost Center / order/pers. no) and enter all reuqired data in the document item with for example 1.7 days it always counts the unit up to the next full number? in this case 2.
Do you have the same problem or any solutions on how to deal with it?
    Regards
    Florian

    Dear Florian,
    This occur in Tscode KB21N?
The activity type is planned in unit Hours or Day?
    You can:
    1 - To plan activity type in Hours and to post  in Hours;
2 - In Tscode CUNI Select Units of measurement "Time" change the unit "TAG"(DAY) in the field "Decimal pl. rounding" set value "2".
This modification affects any transaction where this unit is used.

  • Org Unit inheritance link to Parent Cost Center - is this Config?

    Hi
We started at a new client and have difficulty maintaining the Org Structure A 011 relationships to child Org Units. The system undoes our implicit links. We want the implicit links to be there and not inherited. Is it possible to switch off the inheritance in config?
    Please assist/advise.
    Thank you, Adrian

what do you mean when you say the system 'undoes' your implicit links? Did you mean the system undoes the inherited cc value by using the explicit cc-assignment done at an org unit level? if yes that is how sap works,...  the options are
    a. do not do explicit creation of cost center to org unit . that way assigning a cost center at the top org unit will suffice as that will be inherited to all org units down the structure. But this is not a workable business scenario at all.
    b. determine the explicit cost center assignments at each org unit level and do the assignment accordingly.
lastly : I dont think inheritence of cost center is something you can deactivate in img.
    cheers
