Inifinity BB Down - help!

I am a Northern Ireland Infinity customer. I have been 'off the air' since last Monday (30/11/10). My Home Hub is fully synced up. My line has tested ok (by BT).  It looked initially like a DNS problem, but when i do a tracert to the DNS server (listed in the HH) it goes through several hops succesfully and then timesout. This morning it dropped at 194.72.9.198 (BT in Sandridge in England) after 9 hops. It was going up to 17 hops last time i checked before giving up.
I have had several frustrating calls with the call centre who do not have the basic technical knowledge to understand what i am referring to. Eventually, i was put through to '2nd tier' who didnt really have much to offer other than to order me a new hub - which is on the way. I really dont see this making a difference, and cannot afford to be down for such a long period of time.
I would appreciate if someone with the requisite knowledge could address this for me please. You would make a very frustrated and disallusioned 40-something very happy!

My broadband has now been down for almost 2 weeks (monday coming). I have NEVER experienced such a farce nor have been treated so badly by a service providing company. If i had a choice i would cancel straightaway. I keep hesitating because i have used BT INternet services for approx 15 years and the fault clearly lies on the routing network somewhere upstream. Moving to another ISP is not the way to do it.
I have advised everyone who i have talked to that there is a routing problem - i have the evidence to prove it. Yet, i do not honestly believe that they know what i am talking about - and it have been ignored when i mentioned it.
The best bit was this morning when a very nice BT engineer called at my house.  dont know why he was sent out as i have explained clearly, as above, the  problem relates to a routing issue. My kit syncs up perfectly (an always has down). Anyway, the engineer, as expected found no fault (he didnt even know why he had been called out). He tried to help me beyond his remit. He made a call to somewhere (where i thought he would speak to a colleague). No, he had called India and they wouldnt even believe he was a BT Engineer!
This is now gone past a point that could be deemed acceptable.
Does anyone know names of senior people who i could contact? I really do not know what to do now..

    You need to clarify your statement/question a little bit more. What device are using to take the photo? I assume that you are using your iPad, but I don't know that for a fact because you simply say "whenever I take a picture". I also assume that you are using the built in mail app and not a third party mail app, but can't say for sure about that either without more details from you.
    When I take a photo with the iPad, if I attach/insert a photo in an email directly in the mail app, the photo defaults to the actual size, which is the highest resolution that it can be. The size of the photo can be made smaller, but it defaults to the largest size.

    I have a column named 'Status' in ALV whose cell editor is of type image. I am able to get the image as well.
    Now the issue here is while i'll click on the standard filter.. i want to add drop down helps. I am able to get texts  but not image.

  • System slow down - help!

    I don't think I'v ever had this problem before - the whole system keeps slowing down to a crawl - every app, the cursor, every thing -
    I just did the disk utility maintenance yesterday (from the Repair partitioin), cleaning permissions & verifying / repairing the disk...
    somehow give me some suggestions, the cache, the memory...?
    should I zap the P-RAM,or whatever that step is where you restart holding COMAND-OPTION-P-R ??

    Ok, there are a few things I would try.
    1. Download this free application from the app store called iBoostUp Click Here. Once you do that launch the application you should run the first four things (The quick clean, Disk optimizer, Network optimizer, and memory booster).
    2. If it is still slow launch Disk Utility, then select you computer's hardrive and press verify disk (Not disk permissions). When that is finished press repir disk.
    3. Yes, if it is still slow now zap the P-ram. When you hear the startup chime at startup hold down command+option+R+P, then count, stop this process after you have heard 3 startup chimes.
    4. If it still is like this, consider buying the premium version of iBoostUp Click Here. Now you can run all of the tests and processes in the application.
    5. Now is the time to bring your computer to Apple (Make an appointment).

    Can anyone teach me how to display 87012169 Classic Drill Down Report?  I need check the history data from Oct. 2010 to Feb. 2012 AR transactions.   The Help > Application Help showed "No documentation available", I believe we did not install the help data.
    I tried to use ALR_87012173 for Customer Open Items (the partical payment did not deduct from original invoice) or 87012177 (did not setup the layout yet).

    Hi PPIO:  I used FBL5N but all partial payment did not deduct from original invoice if you short of 0.01 cent, that is why I am trying other reports from SAP.  How you retrieve data and create your customized reports in R3?  We will implement BW in April 2012 but do we need any report tool to create our own reports? 
    Our internal SAP administrator told me the FBL5N can NOT display correct balance due that is can not do task.  I can not believe it, Can you teach me why we got incorrect balance due and what caused the problem?  Tks.

  • Wireless Keyboard Page Up and Page Down Help

    The wireless keyboard for my iMac omits many common keys found on full size keyboards.
    One application I am running (Battlefield 2142) requires the use of "page up" and "page down" among others.
    By random effort, in happens that "Control" + "up arrow" worked for "page up".
    Does anyone know where I can find a resource showing these built-in key board sequences.
    In System Preferences there are the keyboard short cuts that can be configured, but many are missing. The control "up arrow" was not listed here for "Page Up:, nor are others like "Home", "End".
    My assumption is that these are not officially considered keyboard short cuts.
    Any help, appreciated.

    a - this forum is not dedicated to hardware but to the Numbers application.
    b - I don't own such a keyboard but, I'm quite sure that the asked info is available on your machine.
    Apple menu > System Preferences
    open the prefPane named Keyboard and Mouse
    click on the tab named "Keyboard Shortcuts"
    You will get a list of many shortcuts descriptions.
    I assumes that the wanted ones are available in this list.
    Are you sure that the response is not available in the manual delivered with the keyboard?

  • SEARCH OR DRILL DOWN HELP

    Hello all,
    I have a requirement in table control where i have to provide a help for one of the fields in  my table control.
    I have 5 values which that field can take so
    1)can i create a search help or help with those five values so taht the user can select one out 5.
    is it possible
    or should i go for drill down or list box ,so that i can hardcode the 5 values and pass to FM.
    I WAS JUST CURIOUS TO KNOW WHETHER THE SEARCH HELP CAN BE USED TO PROVIDE WITH DEFAULT VALUES AS IN MY CASE.

  • Automatic shut down help

    I just bought a new macbook pro, and I often use it at night to watch films with on Front Row! I then tend to fall asleep, so I went to the energy saving settings and set the computer to shut down at 2am every day if it was still on. But it doesn't! will it not shut down if a application is open? as I will always fall asleep with front row open and I want this to shut down then the computer to shut down. Can any body help?

    This is normal, because I tried it too, I tried to change some settings and it still on because Safari was running. Maybe it's the difference between Mac OS and Windows XP/Vista, Mac OS try to save our files NOT shutting down the computer without users' permission.
    Think it twice, it's not so bad when Mac OS doing this.

  • Boot Slow Down Help!

    Hello Everyone,
    I need some help tracking down a problem which causes
    a slow down in the boot up of my system. I believe
    the problem is linked with Nouveau due to repeated entries
    in the Xorg.0.log.
    Using the proprietary Nvidia drivers, I don't get the slow down.
    Can someone help me figure out what's going on?

  • Shutting down help

    My macbook keeps shutting down, I understand about needing to upgrade the firmware but my macbook turns itself off before I have the chance to upgrade it is there anyone out there that knows if there is anything else I can do?

  • A drop down menu that well doesnt drop down help is needed. ty

    So my proof of concept is below. i followed this video tutorial http://www.tutvid.com/tutorials/flash/tutorials/dropDownMenu.php and i came across a problem.  the green bar is a menu that lights up and drops a menu down.  I created the buttons, then followed by a layer that is the drop down layer that includes an internal layer of a mask layer that drops down.  In that sub layer i put in on frame 1 stop(); and on frame 6 stop in a an action script layer.  then going back to the initial scene one i gave the drop down menu an instance name and then went into the button layer and gave it some action script below

    I have macbook 13" on MAC OS X 10.6.8, I was upgreated iMovie from 8 to 11 version 9.0.4. iMovie always fall down. I did: open iMovie, import and load video, click on to edit it and after that iMovie fall down and close, after that open message: Check with developer to make sure iMovie works with version of Mac OS X. You may need to reinstall the app.Be sure to install any available updates fot the app and Mac OS X. I already delete iMovie from my APP, that I make restart on mac, then I download it one more time from App Store, nothing help.

    SHARE TO iDVD works only for DV and Apple Intermediate Codec (which were usually AVCHD in the camera).
    Anything else should go to the Media Browser. DV and Apple Intermediate Codec files can also go to the Media Browser, and most people prefer this, because the report better results, and this allows you to have multiple movies on one DVD.
    In my opinion, the option to send directly to iDVD as AIC or DV was added in response to customer beliefs that sending DV, for example, would save a compression step and therefor produce better results. However, iMovie has to render even DV to DV and AIC to AIC so this is not really an advantage.

    Try renaming, or moving the pictures back.
    Another thing to try, is connect the phone via the USB port on your computer. Set the phone to allow it to be used as a USB storage device. See if you can access the phone on your computer as if it is an external storage device. You should be able to explore the memory of the phone with your computer.
    For access to a BB phone the drivers have to be first installed for the computer to be able to work with the phone. You can install the desktop manager software. Also if I remember properly, I believe the Desktop manager software can manage the media contents of the BB phone.

    But i still don't understand from the email, where to exactly store my documents. As iworks beta is part of icloud system.
    where do you then store your documents in the cloud when this service is closed.

    iCloud doesn't provide direct storage. iWork files can be uploaded to iCloud from your Mac provided you also have an iOS5 device: you can't re-download them until they've been edited on an iOS device. More details here:
