Init upload in Infopackage

Hello:
   When I start the upload, display message in monitor,and the request can not finish.
The system display message as follow:
Requests(messages):Everything OK
Extraction:missing messages
   Missing message: Request received
   Missing message: Number of sent records
   Missing message: Selection completed
Transfer (IDoc and TRFC):Missing messages or warnings
   Data Package 1: arrived in BW;Processing: Selected number does not agree with transferred n
   Info IDoc 1 : sent,not arrived; Data passed to port OK
Porcessing(data packet):Everything OK
ODS activation (change-log):not yet activated
The missing messgaes ststus yellow light.
I activated the all the models and rules.
How to solve the problem,Hope someone can give me some advice.

Hi,
If you are loading the data from r/3, have you checked for data in the extract checker rsa3?.
If yes, replicate the datasource in b/w side and try to load the data.
If the volume of the data is huge, try splitting the data loads by defining the selections in the infopackage level.

CO delta extractors: How to delete single init uploads?

Hi Gurus,
i'm uploading COPA data with parallel initializations. I'm initializing data with different selections criteria, for example:
init for SOCIETY X - EXERCIZE 2008
init for SOCIETY Y - EXERCIZE 2008
init for SOCIETY Z - EXERCIZE 2008
init for SOCIETY X - EXERCIZE 2007
This works, but i'm not able to delete a single initialization: when i try to delete one in IP "Scheduler -> Initialization for this source" the system deletes all initializations.
Is somene able to help me?

but so i don't understand which is the utility of the parallel initializations.
How can i reinitialize only a selected period instead of all COPA DATA ( millions or records to initialize) when in COPA runs transaction KEND???
Now R/3 is 4.6C version but we are migrating to ECC 6.0.

Delta and Init Upload

Hello Friends
I have some confusion regarding the difference b/w delta upload and Init load.
Are they related to each other, if yes then how? Cant get a clear explanation for this.
Secondly, If i have loaded data into a cube from an ODS with request no for eg. R1 and other req no with R2. If after the successful request and data going into the cube..after some time i change the req. R1 status from green to red, will i be able to view the data in the cube coming from req R1?

this init issue for 0CFM_INIT_POSITIONS is solved by deleting the entry of timestamp from SPRO, as mentioned in the document provided by Murali. thanks for the wonderful support.
now i am doing second step- init load from 0CFM_DELTA_POSITIONS.
i am getting time stamp error as below .
but i have tried replicating datasource and activating transfer rules as mentioned in ohter threads.
can anyone guide on this?
i got this error while loading init load to 0CFM_C10 from the 2nd flow, means via the DSO-0CFM_O01
DataSource 80CFM_O01 has to be replicated (time stamp, see long text)

Diagnosis
DataSource 80CFM_O01 does not have the same status as the source system in the Business Information Warehouse.
The time stamp in the source system is 12.10.2009 11:11:40.
The time stamp in the BW system is 30.09.2009 14:43:34.
System Response
The load process has been terminated.
Procedure
Copy the DataSource again and then activate the transfer rules that belong to it. You have to activate the transfer rules in every case, even if they are still active after the DataSource has been copied.

Datas are not available to the query when upload a Infopackage

Hello People,
I Would like to know what can be the reason ..why the datas are not available when we execute an upload from FlatFile to the Cube (this one is the last target one).
Considering tere aren´t any poroblem in may target (Cube)
The system shows us the upload was ok, but the status about the "available datas to the query" was not activated.

Please go to T code SE16--> Table RSDDAGGR
Here AggrUID(STARTUID) give not equal to blank, you will get list of all the cubes which has aggregates.
If your cybe is in this list , you need to rollup the data to mae this available in reporting.You can rollupp the data by going into Manage of the cube.

You have not mentioned what error message was displayed when you have tried to settle.
However recheck:
- The settlement rule parameters, If GL a/c is checked, check the master data, have you also checkedany other recievers?
- AUC asset class parameters
- Account determination

Init upload

Hello Experts
We have a Ztable in R/3 where timestamp field is included. In bw
First:Initialize delta process (0 of 0 Records yellow)
so i deleted the initialization
Second: Full upload (Successfull)
Third: Initialize delta process Initialize Without data transfer (Successful)
Fourth: Delta process (successful)
Q1. why is it not extracting data when i do directly Initilize delta process?
Q2. Is it a good method to do this way? I dont think it the right way to do it.
Please focus more on Q1.. thanks in advance.

Hi,
ABR is the is the delta with after image, before image and reverse image that in push mode, are pushed into delta queue and serialized according to data package..
AIM is the delta with after image that are pushed in push mode into the delta queue..
E: new unique data records are generated..
Delta type E stands for extractor..
Check once is that AIE or AIM ...bcoz I didnt AIE in the ROOSOURCE..

Init and delta uploads using process chain

Hi,
I have a scenario where for the first upload i use init upload for that i have an infopackage now for the subsequent uploads i.e delta upload i get the option for the same only once i have run the init upload.
so the doubt is can i use a process chain defined to carry out the whole task?????

Hi Virat,
AS init is a one time activity, so what you can do is.
1> set the init in infopack and run the process chain.
2> remove the infopack and then include a new infopack with delta option or change the existing infopack to delta option.
3> schedule the infopack.
whatever you are expecting is not possible.

Full upload after INIT and Delta

Hi Experts,
a quick question - If there is INIT and Delta infopackage running and I do another infopackage with full update option, will there be any issue in Delta?
when do I need to run repair? only when there is possibility of duplicate loading?

when there is deltas already running for the datasource , you can't request for Full but you can request using 'Repair full' which will acts and extract data as full load and it won't disturb present delta's

where is repair full option in IP?
where I can see all INIT conditions for a infopackage? for example INIT was done 3-4 times.. year 2001-2002, 2002-2003 etc, so all these INIT crit should be stored somewhere?

Data uploading and Activation of Request - 0FIGL_O02

HI experts
Got struck while uploading the data in ODS "0FIGL_O02" .
I have uploaded the data till date by using "INIT" and "FULL"infopackages. Now we want to start "Delta" .
We try it by uplaoding the Init request (Without Data) and then scheduled the Delta. This way we get the request in the " ODS" but the Activation of these request failed with the Message " Full update already available in ODS catnnot update INIT/DELTA . We have try it by ticking the Repair Full request also , but activation failed again with the same message.
Pl. let me know where I went wrong . Did I miss any step...

Hi Dinesh.
You need to delete the full request and try the init again.
Also Please check if there is any previous init request. if so delete that request and try the load again.

LO Extraction - error in delta upload

Hi,
I try to do some delta upload. The delta initialization works fine. I run OLI8BW and created an InfoPackage for delta initialization.
Now I have problems with the delta upload. I selected update method 'queued delta' in LBWE and run the job. If I try to start the loading via InfoPackage (delta upload) an error occurs. In RSA7 I can see the delta's, but there is nothing in LBWQ. The error message in the BW monitor is the following: 'Transfer structure field not contained in DataSource'. There is one field in Transfer structure, which isn't contained in data source, but I fill it via a routine. Any ideas what the problem could be?

You load data in Delta mode and the system issues error message R3 037 in the monitor:
Transfer structure field not contained in DataSource.
Note 868059 did not deliver a complete correction.
In Delta requests or repeat requests that contain time-dependent selections, these time dependencies are always transferred to the source system with the 'DATETO' and 'DATEFROM' field names.
Time selections are also transferred to the source system if the time-based fields are not known as selectable fields in the DataSource.

LIS Init load successfull but delta not successfull

Hi all,
I am using MCVBAK table for my LIS extraction. After creating IS S511 and generating my data source, I have replicated the data source in BW. Then I did the necessary steps to create the cube and infopackage. In the update tab while creating infopackage I selected the radio buttion Initialize update and started the load. When I go to monitor I find that the load is successfull but it says only 1 from 1 records.
Why is it so? Why are the remaining 3158 records not getting uploaded to BW?
Also please let me know how to correct a failed init upload and a failed delta upload?

Hi Tristan,
You are getting this message because, your datasource already contains Initializations. It is not an error. If you want to delete your previous Initialization...
1. Goto the Infopackage
2. In the Menu, select Schedule -> Initializations options for the source system
3. Select the particular Initilization and delete.
FYI : We can have a mulitple Initilization for different Data Selection to the same Datasource. For eg, Assume that you are pulling sales data for years 2002 to 2006 (you should have 0calyear as data selection), then You can create mulitple Initilzations..
1. Goto InfoPackage, Data Selection Tab,
2. For 0calday InfoObject input 2002 and go to Updata Tab select Initilazation of Delta and Schedule.
3. Again goto Data Selection Tab, Input 2003 to 2004 for 0calday and Initialize and so on..
4. Now goto Schedue->Initialization options for source system, you will find all your Initializations..

Delta Upload porblem : Job getting Cancelled in R/3 ...

I did successful INIT upload from data source 2LIS_02_SGR.
But while running delta I am getting an error as mention below ,
the Job is getting cancled in R/3 .
But at the same time we are able to do delta for 2LIS_02_ITM,SCL,HDR etc successfully.
We have not made any enhancement to this data source 2LIS_02_SGR .
also we have not change any ABAP code in R/3 .

Hi Amol,
The function module /BI0/QI2LIS_02_SGR0001 gets generated the first time you run the DELTA load after a successful Initialization.
As I can see from the short dump, I can see that the Delta load is not able to Generate the FM /BI0/QI2LIS_02_SGR0001 successfully as it recognizes that the FM already exists. I guess it would be worth to try another Initialization, and then try the Delta again.
You could also check if the INIT was successful in table ROOSPRMSC giving the datasource name 2LIS_02_SGR, and check if the field INITSTATE is marked X and whether it has the timestamp registered successfully, also check if the Request in BW is existing in targets and is GREEN in monitor. If all this is fine, then I guess it would be worth trying another INitialization and then try the delta .

Uploading data to BW from a TEXT file , string fields show error

I am trying to upload a TEXT file to SAP BW:
City     Value   Date
City1    100.00   20060101
City2    200.00   20060102
City3    300.00   20060103
The text file has 3 fields:
City (CHAR -STRING)
Value (Numc)
Date   (Dats)
I have defined a file source system, the infosource and the datasource in order to upload the text file to BW.
When uploading the infopackage of the text file, an error appears for the infoobject of type CHAR (STRING).
The PSA is loading the record but it is in RED status showing that the characters are not allowed in the CITY field.
The upload is made right if i substitute the string with a number, then the upload shows the green light.
I need to upload string values to the CITY infoobject in my infocube, but the infopackage shows the red light when the text file includes characters like 'City1', it only permits numbers in the CHAR field.
Please help me in order to upload a text file with CHAR (string) values to BW.

Hi Cempro,
Always remember, the input file should have upper case letters. In your case, you have given in lowercase , so please change to upper case and run the Infopackage again. This should go fine.
note: If the input file has lowercase letters, it need a different approach, meaning, you need to check few boxes. So, to avoid all thet, just change in your input file and just run the Infopackage.
Remember, to do an ENTER at the "input file" section in the "external data" tab in Infopackage screen. This way, you are instructing the Infopackage to use the newly changed file.

Init selection deleted - recover possible?

Hi,
I am selectively initialising the attributes for the business partner. It concerns a new datasource with new attributes for the business partner.
As we have 5,2 million business partners I am initialising this part in ranges.
As for now I had 9 selective inits run properly. One init went wrong this night and I wanted to delete this "red" init in the infopackage settings. I selected only this one, however now all my inits are deleted.
Does anyone know how to restore these init selections? I can see a delta still present in SMQ1 in CRM, in RSA7 in CRM the delta is suddenly 0.
Would appreciate any kind of help!

Hi Hens,
Just check the red request is available in PSA and try to load from there.If not then you have to do init again.
Only option if the data is available in PSA in correct status.
