Initial Load Error IDM 7.0

Hello Exports,
We have completed the IDM 7.0 Installation and Configuraiton.we are in the process of running the Initial Load
During the intial load with ABAP system we received below errors

I had the same issue with the SAP JVM 5.0 - after installing the Sun JDK 1.5.0 (current version 1.5.0_21), updating the classpaths and regenerating the dispatcher scripts, the issue was solved.

We are doing middleware configuration for data migration between R3->CRM.Have followed "Best Practies" configuration Guide.
System Using; CRM 2007 and ECC6.0
Issue
While performing initial load, system is throwing the error as
001- No generation performed. Call transaction GN_START
002-Due to system errors the Load is prohibited (check transaction MW_CHECK)!
After calling the transaction GN_START system asks for job scheduling,whereas I have already scheduled it.
A job is already scheduled periodically.
Clicking on 'Continue' will create another job
that starts immediately.
After checking(MW_CHECK),message is displayed as
No generation performed. Call transaction GN_START.
If anybody has encountered the similar issue and has resolved it,their guidence will be greatly appriciated.

We also faced the same problem when we have done the upgrade from CRM 4.0 to CRM 2007.
For that you go to SMWP where you can see all the errors related to Middleware with the error message so try to remove the error,
Also pls check in RZ20 and activate the middleware trace tree.

Middleware initial load error on funcloc segment type (ADR2) does not exist

Hello,
We are doing initial loads of data into a new CRM 7.0 system.
So far all objects have been done except Functional locations (FUNCLOC).
During the initial load of the functional locations the various BDOCs all go into error state.
The error is the same everywhere: segment type adr2 does not exist.
If we deactivate the adr2 table In transaction R3AC1 and process again, we get the error message for the next table
(Like: segment type IFLOTX does not exist) and so on.
IS there any settings we can do to manage these 'segments' or would there be another wa to solve this?

Hello,
Take a look at note 1271465, it does not talk about the ADR2 segment but about segment errors in SMW01 for functional location download. It might be useful. Observe especially the constraint in ERP version number, it might be that your ERP system is out-of-date/incompatible for this scenario.
Second thing to check, go to SPRO>CRM>Master Data>Installed Base>Replication of technical objects from ERP
There you'll find a mandatory customizing activity for Functional location download.
And in the documentation of activity "Replication of Functional locations: Prerequisites and General information" you'll find all the necessairy actions to perform.
This helped me in setting up funcloc replication in CRM 7.0.

Connection Refused Error while running AS ABAP Initial Load

All,
I've never connected SAP NW IdM to an actual SAP system before, and I feel like I'm missing some obvious step of configuration, but I can't figure out what.
We are in the process of trying provision user accounts to our SAP ABAP systems. My first step was to try to read all of the existing accounts from the ABAP system:
Our Basis team created me a Communication user with the proper authorizations (I ensured that the authorizations included in SAP_BC_SEC_IDM_COMMUNICATION)
I created a repository using the SAP NewWeaver AS ABAP (Specific Application Server) Repository Template (No CUA, No SNC) using that user's credentials
I then used the Job Wizard and used the job template AS ABAP - Initial Load, specifying my repository above.
When I run the job I get the following:

Error Init failed
I'm running SAP NW IdM 7.1 SP5 on Windows Server 2003 with MSSQL 2005. The ABAP server is on a UNIX box with an Oracle 10.2 dB.
Is there additional configuration that needs to take place on the ABAP side to accept the connection?
I've tried to find documentation on this, but have been unsuccessful. If someone could point me to the correct documents, or at least point me in the right direction for troubleshooting, it would be greatly appreciated.

Looks like the endpoint URL of the webservice is not updated and still pointing to the localhost. Try changing it to http://<ip_addres_of_your_server>:7101..... and see if it works fine then.

At my initial load AS ABAP, the following error showed up:

This error message affects all users. Where can I add the missing attributes?

The Probelm was resolved after editing the Script..... "sap_getHelpValKey.js"

Error during LDAP reconciliation (initial load)

Hi,
We are using IDM 7.1. We are trying to do initial load of accounts to Identity Manager using reconciliation with LDAP (Sun Directory Server 5.2). Reconciliation is consistently failing with the following error:

Hello Rupam,
Abort the load of that object in txn:R3AM1.
Also, delete the queue entries like R3AI_<OBJECT_NAME> in txn:SMQ2.
This would let you to restrart the load again.
If again it goes to WAIT state , then it means that you do not have enough number of work processes to handle this load.
It happens if several other load are running.So you have to wait till other loads get finished or you need to increase the work process, if your hardware supports.

I have set the CLASSPATH environmental variable. C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server 2005 JDBC Driver\sqljdbc_1.1\enu\sqljdbc.jar and made the entry in the Console -> Options -> Java Tab.
Why does it still keeping looking for it in the Installation Directory (E:\XIM\Identity Center\.)

All:
The error here was not because of the JDBC driver but an authentication error. Got past this by assigning "Domain Admin" role to the AD user used to connect to the Directory Server.

Iam doing Middleware setup for downloading customer master from R/3 to CRM.Iam trying to do initial load of customizing objects viz.,DNL_CUST_ACGRPB,DNL_CUST_ADDR,
DNL_CUST_KTOKD,DNL_CUST_TVKN,DNL_CUST_TVLS,DNL_CUST_TVPV... which are to be loaded before doing initial load of CUSTOMER_MAIN.
while doing initial load of customizing objects iam getting the below mentioned error

Not generated / generated with errors 2 entries

when I regenerate these objects(generated with errors)from the context menu I find no difference.
I have also referred to the Note :637836 and 661067 which also suggests to run few reports and GN_START but inspite of doing all the corretion parameters in the note Iam still unable to come out of the situation.

An upgrade was performed.

The Middleware is stopped because MW objects must be generated.
Procedure
Excecute transaction GN_START.
If GN_START is executed,I dont find any change.

Initial Load and Reconcile of IdM accounts vs Resources. Any advices?

Hellos.
Time is now to begin the initial startup of Idm where target resources already have entries.
Is there anywhere an idiots guide explaining to a novice IdM user the steps involved in loading and linking IdM accounts for the first time? I have to stress the guide has to be designed to meet novices needs i.e. those doing it for the first time.
We are fairly confident in running IdM from day 1. What I am unsure about is the best techniques to employ on day 0 so that the first FF Async run on day 1 will update IdM accounts rather than attempt to reinsert them.
We have 3 target resources: 1 AD 2 LDAP and 1 input FF Async source (plus a form for manual adds/mods)
The targets hold a mix of contract staff and employees. The FF source holds just employees, the contactor's data is entered by hand.
Am I being stupid if I do the following:
1. Load IdM Accounts from latest FF source (employees)
2. reconcile matching AD accounts by name.
3. reconcile matching LDAP1 accounts by name.
4. reconcile matching LDAP2 accounts by name.
5. from unmatched AD accounts since an AD account must exist for current staff make 2nd load file for contractors and load these accounts into IdM.
6. reconcile matching AD accounts by name
7. reconcile matching LDAP1 accounts by name
8. reconcile matching LDAP2 accounts by name
9 examine the leftovers and manually correct the mispelt or erroneous ones treating the rest as ghosts.
I am unsure just what the reconciliation is doing, I hope it builds the links between IdM and the resource.
What I am trying to achieve is a situation where I end up at the end of day0 where I have all the Idm accounts in my repository and are correctly linked to resource accounts so that the FF async can manage the bulk of them
I believe this has to be done for every IdM implementation. What I am after is advice and pointers to guidance from those who have had the experience of going though the implementation cycle at least once.

I had a similar problem although I was doing a load from file and I was linking the account to the resource.
I noticed you had:

Try using the following instead:
<Field name='waveset.accounts[GrandSlamXML].created'>
<Expansion>
<Boolean>true</Boolean>

</Field>
That is what worked for me.

Error in DNL_CUST_PROD1 Initial Load

While attempting to carry out the initial load for object (DNL_CUST_PROD1) from R/3 to CRM an inbound queue is generated with status SYSFAIL containing the following error message:
It is not posible to import material type to hierarchy ZBP_CRM_PT....
(Message no. SR053)
The Hierarchy mentioned in the message refers to one that was created manually in CRM before the initial load.
It was under my understanding that the only hierarchy impacted by the initial load was the R3MATCLASS, then why is this error generated for another hierarchy that should not be involved?
Regarding this issue I feel I have two options:
1. Delete the hierarchy in CRM and restart the initial load. (The only problem here is that I have found it really dificult to carry out the deletion, because it means I have to delete products and IObjects created in CRM that are associated to this hierarchy)
2. Try to find a way to prevent error to appear in the inbound queue. (for example in debugging try to bypass the logic that processes the manually created hierarchy)
Please I would greatly appreciate to get an answer from anyone that has encounterd similar problems.

Just have a look into the corresponding entry in ST22 .
The problem persists due to the duplicate entries in the table T023 or .
Delete them directly from the table using se16:
Select the entries in the classic view (not ALV or grid view). activate the debugger.
Press the view button. --> you'll enter in the debugger
Press F7
Locate the sy-ucomm variable & change it to "DELE".
Press F8
Delete the entries.
Trick-shots but it works!

'User is Locked' error while trying to start initial load

While trying to start initial load of objects using R3AS, I am receiving error msg 'User is locked'. This rfc user is a dialog user with SAP_ALL. I even tried replicating using a new user, but ended up with same error. The user is not locked but still getting the same error msg via status 'SYSFAIL' in the queue. Any suggestions?

AJ,
The RFC user must be a communication user or a system user. I think you mentioned the RFC user is a dialog user, which would be wrong settings definitely.
Also as mentioned by Marcin, ensure the passwords in the RFC destination of SRM and R/3 are the same as the passwords in SU01 of the respective systems. To ensure this, click on remote logon for the RFC destination in SM59. If the screen doesnot change, this means your systems are connecting through the RFC user without any problem.
