Initial load (R3AS). Number of blocks by object

Hi Gurus,
does anyone have information about the number of blocks for each object while executing the initial load with transaction R3AS?

Hi Mikel,
For most of the objects, it should 100 blocks.
If system is running slow, then you can reduce it.

Hi,
I am trying to replicate Stock data from CRM to MDM.
I created Adapter object for stock and also the sites.
The initial flow context is set, and i am retrieving data from CRMD_STOCK table.
I have written a function module CRM_MDM_STOCK to fill the messaging bdoc.
I was getting the data earlier (the BDOC trace from SMW01 had data).
Now when i run the initial load(r3as), i donot get any BDOC traces also.
I set a breakpoint in my FM too, its not hitting there too.
Can any1 suggest me, how do i go about this now?

Hello Rashmi,
Check txn:SMO8FD, you would come to know the flow definition for your BDoc type.
And you will know why its not hitting the BP.

Initial Load of Business Partner not running

Dear SAP CRM gurus,
We have been able to perform initial download of Business Partners from ECC into our CRM system. We have done this many times. We do not know what is wrong, but since last week, we are unable to perform initial download of our Business Partners. When we run initial download using R3AS, there is no BDoc created, there is also no queues on inbound/outbound of both CRM and ECC system. There is also no error. R3AM1 showing initial download complete but only with 1 block. But there is no BDoc created!! All other replication objects are fine, except that BUPA_MAIN we are unable to perform initial download. Delta download is fine as well.
We have not changed anything on SMOEAC and it is all correct. Entries on CRMSUBTAB and CRMC_BUT_CALL_FU is also correct.
Please help!!

When you are downloading CUSTOMER_MAIN through R3AS are u getting any warning or error??
or r u getting pop up with green light??
If u are getting any warning or error then go to tcode: smwp. Then go to runtime information
->Adapter Status Information>Initial Load Status
under that check running objects and check customer_main is there or not??
if found delete that entry and do initial load again.
Also check outbound queue of R/3 and inbound queue of CRM .
If then also its not working do request download using r3ar2, r3ar3 and r3ar4 and check whether it is working or not.

Middleware initial load in production

We have a question over how to run an initial load (R3AS) in our production system. We have over 4 million business partners and 9 million contract accounts that will require replication from ERP to CRM system. We expect the initial load could take several days to run. Is there anyway to stagger the initial load? This is due to that we may not want replication activities occurring at certain times of the day. We'd like to just do an initial load on a range of bp's per day. It seems this could be accomplished by setting a filter, but my understanding is that as we shift the filter, we would then be missing the deltas of the previous bp's that were loaded via initial load. Is there anyway to accomplish a staggered initial load? or do you need to basically fire off the initial load for your entire filter.
Does anyone also have any tips that are geared towards replication as it relates to large volumes of data.

You can activate the deltas manually in R3ac4.

Initial Load R3AM1 Parallel Processing (load objects)

Dear
After optimizing the parallel processing for the initial load between ISU -> CRM (Initial Load ISU / CRM Issues), I would like to know the following:
On the CRM system , transaction R3AM1 you can monitor the Load Objects.Is it possible to parallel process the load objects?
At this time we can see each block being processed one at the time. We can however see there are multiple queues available.
Any info would be most welcome.

increase MAX_PARALLEL_PROCESSES(changing crm table smofparsfa) from 5 to 10 and you will see more queues getting processed simultaneously.

The maximum number of loads and requests that can be processed simultaneously is defined in the table SMOFPARSFA under the MAX_PARALLEL_PROCESSES..The hierarchy in order of preference is initial load, request load, and then SDIMA.
If the number of running loads and the number of running requests in total is as much as or higher than this number, the remaining loads have to wait until a process is free again.Consequently this parameter can be modified if the processing of loads\requests is delayed due to non availability of free processes.The default value of this parameter is 5(as is there in your CRM as well)
There's no need to change anything in table 'CRMPAROLTP' on the CRM system

Error during initial load of object SI_CONNOBJ

I am not able to do initial load of object SI_CONNOBJ from OLTP R/3 to CRM using transaction R3AS. It is in "Abort" Status. When I am checking the relevant Bdoc generated for the same it is giving me the error as "No data records in transport structure BAPIMTCS Message no. IBSSI_CRMTO_MESSAGES010 ". Please help me in this regard.

I am not sure what your question is. Yes, of course, you must have connection objects in the IS-U system. Otherwise, what do you want do download to CRM? You must have have the middleware in general and also the adapter SI_CONNOBJ enabled in the IS-U system. I am sure you know, that an IS-U connection object is represented as an IBASE in CRM.
Does a delta replication work (from IS-U to CRM and from CRM to IS-U)?

Initial load for Object CUSTOMER_MAIN

Hi,
My client has taken their initial load more than year back. During that time some 900 odd customers where not copied to CRM from ECC because of various master data issues. Now, they have entry of Business Partner in table crmm_but_custno however none of them are actually downloaded from ECC.
We have given requirement to download them again from ECC and create them in CRM. For the same I tried to download them using CRMM_BUPA_MAP but due to the fact those customers has been part of initial load the system is taking delta load for them.
Here, I am facing error Business partner with GUID xxx does not exist (this error would come because system in taking delta load with update indicator 'U' which should come as 'I' for insert as those customer are not created yet!)
The main issue here is even in synchronization or initial load if we download the customer back which were part of initial load system would take only delta values and not all data from ECC.
Does any one has any suggestion how to download data with full details in them as they would come in initial load in this case?
I have already attempted following option:
1. Used initial load again
2. Synchronization with request using Tcode R3AR2/R3AR4/CRMM_BUPA_MAP

Thanks for the answer. I tried the same but I am getting following error in BDOC analysis:
Customer number xxx is already assigned to a business partner.
The above error is coming because this customer was part of initial load however the BDOCs were in error mode and no one had tried to reprocess them after clearing errors.
Now, I do not have those BDOC as they are deleted from the system. I am suspecting that I need to delete some entry in table where the reference was stored in earlier initial run.
Request you to please reply in case you have any suggestions.

Hi,
have you run the program /SAPCND/RV12N001, this will organize all your download conditions.
look at OSS Note 514952.
You will then need to create a specific download adapter for the condition table. Look at transaction SLG1 Object COND_EXCHANGE Subobject CUSTOMIZING to tell what is wrong.

Middleware starts replicating before initial load

Hi folks,
currently i´m setting up the middleware to connect a live ERP with a fresh CRM. The initial load is not done yet, also a lot other configuration stuff. I noticed that at the time of registering the queues the middleware is connecting itself and listing first BDocs in SMW01. Mostly R3AD delta(!) material BDocs (which fail by mapping error currently) but also green ones like 'class message' or 'objcl_message' which seem to have dummy or real entries. This is a problem as i did not configure e.g. R3AC1 filters or number ranges yet.
I thought delta load is triggered first after initial load. How can i stop the middleware before i finish the configuration stuff. If there is a 'switch off' (like deactivate a business adapter object in R3AC1) i guess i would have to switch it on again just before the initial load and then risking uncontrolable connection againg before i can execute R3AS. I mean if i would e.g. deregister the queues i could end my configuration but i would have to register the queues just before initial load and would again having no control about the start of the replication. Is that a problem for you? - How do you handle that issue usually if you set up a new CRM?

SRM Initial Load

Hi Experts,
I am doing an initial load from ECC to SRM. The middleware parameters have been configured according to the OSS msg 720819. I start the load using R3AS for object DNL_CUST_PROD0. In R3AM1, I see the status as waiting and the BLOCK size is ZERO. Nothing is getting replicated from ECC into SRM. Any help would be highly appricated. We are om SRM 7.0 with ECC 6.0.

Then, new field will be able among table filters in R3AC1 transaction.

Error appearing in start initial load

Hi Experts,
I am getting an error during execution of the transaction 'R3as' (Start Initial Load). I am using the load object 'IPMBEAPRDSLS'.
When I am running the trasaction, system is throwing the error meassage "Initial Load is already running(or waiting), IPMBEAPRDSLS: object will not be loaded"
Kindly suggest some solution of this problem.

Hello Rupam,
Abort the load of that object in txn:R3AM1.
Also, delete the queue entries like R3AI_<OBJECT_NAME> in txn:SMQ2.
This would let you to restrart the load again.
If again it goes to WAIT state , then it means that you do not have enough number of work processes to handle this load.
It happens if several other load are running.So you have to wait till other loads get finished or you need to increase the work process, if your hardware supports.

Initial Load of BUAG_MAIN (Business Agreements) IS-U = CRM

Hello. We are integrating ISU to SAP CRM 7.0.
We have been replicating Business Partners between the two systems for a couple of years, and now wish to begin replication the Business Agreements <=> Contract acconts objects (BUAG_MAIN)
In our development system, in order to successfully process the initial load of BUAG_MAIN, I had to RE-run an inital load of BUPA_MAIN. I am really unconfortable having to do this in our productive systems!
My question to you experts:
Is there a way to run an initial load of a dependent object (BUAG_MAIN) without having to re-run an initial load of the parent object? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

- There are no errors in SMW01
- No. range settings are set as following:
CRM: Master Data-> Business Agreement-> Define Number Range for Business Agreement:

Initial Load of BUPA_MAIN to GWA_01 does not work

Hi all
I have a question concerning the serverside groupware Integration and the initial Load of BUPA_MAIN.
According to the groupware integration guide, I have to "Transfer Business Partner to Public Contact Directory".
This is done with transaction R3AS (Object BUPA_Main, Sender=CRM, Receiver=GWA_01 (the mBDOC site)).
When I want to chose the above options in R3AS I cannot select GWA_01 as receiver site (only CRM or OLTP is offered when I click F4). That means when I chose BUPA_MAIN as object I cannot chose GWA_01 as receiver site (fbut or other objects f.ex. GWA_* I can chose GWA_01 as receiver site).
I created all subsriptions needed (I had to recreate the publication "ALL Business Partners (MESG)" because it was missing in my system).
Does anyone have an idea what could be wrong?

'User is Locked' error while trying to start initial load

While trying to start initial load of objects using R3AS, I am receiving error msg 'User is locked'. This rfc user is a dialog user with SAP_ALL. I even tried replicating using a new user, but ended up with same error. The user is not locked but still getting the same error msg via status 'SYSFAIL' in the queue. Any suggestions?

The RFC user must be a <b>communication user or a system</b> user. I think you mentioned the RFC user is a dialog user, which would be wrong settings definitely.
Also as mentioned by Marcin, ensure the passwords in the RFC destination of SRM and R/3 are the same as the passwords in SU01 of the respective systems. To ensure this, click on remote logon for the RFC destination in SM59. If the screen doesnot change, this means your systems are connecting through the RFC user without any problem.

Hi Anil,
First of All you need to create RFC destinations and logical destinations for ECC and CRM. Take help of your Basis guys in doing this.
Settings to be done in SAP ECC::
1: Go to t code sm 30 and enter the table "CRMRFCPAR". Enter your RFC Destination Name for CRM
User : CRM
Destination : CRMCLNT200
Inqueue flag : X
Send XML : M
Keep everything else blank.
2: In the same tcode enter the table "CRMPAROLTP" and enter your CRM release no
3: Maintain Table CRMCONSUM and enter the Q_Prefix to ""R3A"
4: Maintain the Table TBE11:
Set applications BC-MID and NDI to active.
This is a pre-requisite for the replication of data from R/3 to CRM.
Settings to Be done in SAP CRM
1: In CRM you need to create site and subcriptions in Administration console "T-code: SMOEAC"
2: You need to also Register the Queues (T-code: SMQR)
