Initial setup of SAP B-1

Question

We are in process of setting up SAP B-1 and would like to do it right the first time.  We are a USA based fishing lure manufacturer that has most of the assembly work done overseas.  (Haiti, Mexico, Philippines, China)  Consequently we are subject to 720 Excise tax on fishing lures.  There are many rules and scenarios that go along with that tax, so the question is.........is there anyone out there who is in a similar or same industry and if so, how do you track the excise taxable events so you can generate reports that give you the right information for filing?  Any input would be helpful, as we are in the early stages of setup.

Dear Robert,
As experts are saying, if you please elaborate your business process it will be better. In Inda for Excisable items we need to follow some steps during document entry.
1. Excisable warehouse set up
2. Making the item excisable.
3. Creating Tax code as per the need.
4. For Purchase cycle....
     GRPO
     Incoming excise inv
    AP Inv
5. For Sales cycle...
   Delivery
  Outgoing Excise inv
  AR inv
Various kind of excise reports are available in XL reporter.
etc etc...
