Initial state for CNiIIRCascadeFilterHi

Hi,
I'm using a CNiIIRCascadeFilter for my signal processing. I perform a forward an backward filtering on the data. To reduce transient on both ends I have to introcude paddings and to set the initial state of the filter. Is it possible to set the initial state? I could not find an appropriate method. Or is there a 'trick' to feed the filter with special values to achiev the wished state?

I didn't found any 'trick' to in set an initial state. I didn't found anything else than that is documented in the MStudio help. For all methods of these classe please refer the help file.

Hello Richard,
After you design the page and adjust the element dimensions
as if the element would be in page without the animation to show it
you'll have to set the 'display:none' CSS property on that element.
In this situation the element will remain in page but will simply
be invisible. Something like this:

How to get the initial state of JSF PAGE IN ORACLE ADF

my Jdeveloper version is 12.1.3
I'm building my JSF pages based on a template that has a navigation pane which contains command navigation items , every one of them (command navigation items) appears as a link at runtime and calls a JSF page , I wish to get the initial state for any page when leaving it then entering such page again , and I would like to know what is the suitable place to write the code to do this task.

NEW REPOSITORY INSTALLATION ERROR!!
I want to install a new Repository using Oracle9iR9.2.0.1 and iDS10g on windowsXP Professional the same machine.
After running all the SQL scripts ( ckqa,ckvalqa,ckcreate,ckreport) with success to installing a new Repository on my Database using "the Scripts Method",I start the Repository Administration Utility( RAU) to scheck the priveleges and so on.
After pressing the Install button in the RAU:
-I take public synonyms
-I scheck the box for "Support Designer Objects", then
-The Repository size is Medium
-I have not change the defauft Tablespace of the Repository_Manager names TEMPORARY_TABLES to store the index and table of System Data....Diagram Data.
After Starting, the Installation began an stop by installing some Tables like schown :

When I read the Help of the Error the
CAUSE was: Failed to find sufficient contiguous Space to allocate INITIAL extend for Segment being created.
ACTION: Use ALTER TABLESPACE ADD DATAFILE to add additional space to the tablespace or retry with a smaller Value for initial.
I then try to resolve it by schecking and changing the Values of INITIAL_VALUE and NEXT_VALUE in the ckparams.txt to 500k.I change the Values of TEMPORARY_TABLES(10214 to 51200k) and TEMPORARY_INDEXES from (20000 to 100000k).Then I run the scripts @ckparams.txt, @ckvalqa, @ckcreate but
-pressing the Scheck Privileges Button on the RAU still give me 106k for the INITIAL_ and NEXT_VALUE.
-And the installato still stop with the same Error.
Question: How schould I resolve this Configuration?

You are running into database errors. You should refer to the database documentation on how to adjust the size your tablespaces. The online Designer installation guide will advise you as to the sizes of tablespaces you require. Spry Validation-text field shows the "required" text even in initial state

Hi,
I'm having trouble with spry validation.
I insert my spry textfied and go to the properties inspector where I choose validate on "Blur" and "submit" for the Required state. I check the required box for the "required state" but the initial state will also have the "a value is required" text. If I try to delete the "a value is required" text from the initial state, the required state won't show this error.
What should I do?

Question about statement for all entries

Hi Abap experts,
I have a question concerning the ABAP statement for all entries.
Explanations:
Let’s say that my source package (Source table) contains 2 types of data:
-type1
-type2
I would like to use the statement select from table into internal table
For all entries in source package
But the where statement changes depending on the data type (2 keys when data type is 1 and only 1 key when data type is 2) .
So that would be:
Type1:
Select fields
From table into internal table
Where field1 = source_package-field1
And field2 = source_package-field2.
Type2:
Select fields
From table into internal table
Where field1 = source_package-field1
How can I merge them assming that the field od data type is ftype?

i think this is helpful for you.
there are 2 ways to use the for all entries...
1. with header line: this method is old one. in this method the internal table (ITAB) is automatically create workarea (WA) with same name, this method 1 drawback is there where we can use WA and ITAB confused that's why this is come difficult.
2. without header line : this is nowadays we can use this method. in this method we create separate ITAb and WA. very clear this method.

How to Generate DDL Statement for PSAPROLL Tablespace on Oracle9i-HP_UX

Hi,
I am having SAP R3 46C installed with Oracle 9i on HP_UX 11i system.
I want to generate required DDL statements for PSAPROLL Tablespace/Rollback Segments as Backup/recovery purpose, before converting it into PSAPUNDO.
Its easy to find & store required DDL statements using OEM. But, I am not able to locate oemapp (under $ORACLE_HOME/bin directory) application in the installation.
The current patch level of installed oracle is
I want to start OEM in HP_UX system, if it is possible.
otherwise,
I want to know the other alternatives to generate the required DDL statements.

On windows Platform it is very easy to get DDL info for any object of database.
But, I was not able to start OEM in HP_UX system.
I have done my job complete using this good package of Oracle9i, in this way.

Hi, OK - I got it to work...
Some notes:
1) The View wizard cannot be initiated from the Entity Object.
2) During the View wizard process - do not associate with Entity
3) Selected columns must be mapped as expressions
4) Using non-distinct columns will override the distinct function

It seems like that you are encountering event 31552, you may check operation manager event logs for more information regarding to this issue.
There can be many causes of getting this 31552 event, such as:
A sudden flood (or excessive sustained amounts) of data to the warehouse that is causing aggregations to fail moving forward.
The Exchange 2010 MP is imported into an environment with lots of statechanges happening.
Excessively large ManagedEntityProperty tables causing maintenance to fail because it cannot be parsed quickly enough in the time allotted.
Too much data in the warehouse staging tables which was not processed due to an issue and is now too much to be processed at one time.

Is initial state of a Java stack frame stored somewhere

In My IDE (Eclipse), debugger has an option "Drop to Frame" for each method in the method stack, which when clicked resets the stack to the initial state of the selected method.
How is the operation achieved?
Is this an potion from JDB or IDE would have stored the initial state of all method stack frames?
How could have static variables for other classes got reset?

Design Studio - put initial state on chart

Hello,
I work with DS1.3 SP01, and I have a problem with putting initial state on chart after RESET action from a button.
Initially I was inspired with Zahid’s post http://scn.sap.com/thread/3566300, but it’s seems to be other scenario and needs.
I this case, I have a tabstrip with 5 pages, where each presents pie charts. Once we click on one of the chart, a crosstab is displayed for each of them. When I click on button RESET, whatever a page is currently displayed I want to clear all filters for all my charts. During a RESET I hide all cross tabs – so I don’t have to liberate datasources linked to crosstabs.
My code for RESET button seems to work quite ok, cause it gives me a chart with initial state, ready for next selections…. in condition that I do not click on RESET just after 1st click on pie chart.
For example :
- on page 1 : click on pie chart 1, then I go to the page 2/ click on chart 2 - come back to page 1 => click reset (chart 1 - initial state, chart 2-selection is highlighted)
or
- on page 1 : click on pie chart, then I add additional filter from panel_filter for all charts => click reset, works fine for all charts.
If I try to click on RESET just after an action of click on the pie chart, I would say it stays locked, and my RESET do not put him in initial state. But If I click again, it works ! I would like to understand what is happening just after click on pie chart, why the state of chart seems to be "locked" ?

why you need those bold lines?

I do not see reason for those. I suspect, when you clear the filters, those lines can cause some issues as the clearfilters call is for sure triggering event to chart and then the selection is cleared.

Initial State of Navigation Panel

Hi all,
I have an issue with an SAP portal ivew linked to a guided procedure. When the user clicks on it the navigation panel on the left is closed. We have to tried to set the proposerty "Initial State of Navigation Panel" to "Open" but it did not work (although we tried another iView and it did work). Can you please indicate what could be the possible reason for overriding this property? Thank you in advance.

Did you try looking at the "Initial State of Navigation Panel" value of your iView in question in the Portal role? Assuming this is a delta-link copy, this property might have its delta-link inheritance broken through modification prior to this.

How to reset a particular view object alone to it's initial state??

Hi,
As per my requirement, i use various instances of same view object in various dynamic tabs only. Since each tab has its own transaction, refreshing an EO of a particular transaction will refresh only the VO instances which comes under that transaction. So it will not cause any issue for my requirement i hope.
Requirement: Need to reset a particular entity driven view object instances.
Tried Schema: Departments table of HR Schema. Tried using the Application Module tester.

Issue i have:
1. Add a blank row (Soon transaction has become dirty). Call the resetView() client interface. It gives me JBO-25303: Cannot clear entity cache model.eo.Departments because it has modified rows
2. Modify any row and then delete the same row. Call the resetView(). It gives me JBO-27101: Attempt to access dead entity in Departments, key=oracle.jbo.Key[10 ]
[NOTE: Above code works fine when for simple deletion of rows, modification of existing rows, new rows]

We are trying to add an IBM P770 to our Cisco MDS 9000 Fabric Switch. We've set the port to Fx mode, trunking off, rate-mode is shared. For some reason the port remains in the "initializing" state. The only way that we could get it to come up, is by putting the port into ST state. Even when the port does come up, in ST mode, when you look at the Flogi database, the port doesn't appear. Unfortunately, our support isn't through SmartNet, so we have to open support with another vendor. Unfortunately, they are as stumped as we are. We have read many online blogs, but nothing seems to help us. None of us are Storage Network experts, so hopefully someone can help. Again, thanks for taking the time to read this!

OK try this.
Set the switch port type to auto and then get your unix admin to rmdev the hba (without the -d will be fine), then do a cfgmgr.

Spry Blind Effect - Initial state closed

Hi,
I was wondering if its possible to have the Blind effect, set to be closed initially and then "Blind down"? I've tried setting the "Blind from" fields but it doesn't seem to work. The div container is always open initially then toggles up and down properly, I'd just like to be able to set it to be 'closed' initially. Is there a way to do this?
Note: I have a table inside the container div, not sure if it affects it but it does seem to work when I toggle so, my issue is simple to have it on that closed state initially.

Thanks for your reply, yup I already saw that page but didn't seem to work
with my case, so I just decided to use several "colapsable" widgets and that
seemed to work, but was interested in knowing if there existed a way to have
the Blind behavior start with the initial state being closed.
