Initiate email from support message

Hi everyone,
this question is related to the testmanagement workflow. I would like to modify the worklow for the support message and hope someone can help me.
When a user posts a support meassage after testing a transaction I would like the message to be sent to the outlook mail account of the concerning person instead of the message going to service desk. Is this doable with workflow management? If so, how?

Hi,
You can use the Action Profile for sending Emails when message is created.
Chk the Std Action Profile SLFN0001_ADVANCED and the action SLFN0001_ADVANCED_MAIL
Chk the below blog. Its used to send emails when the status of the message is changed.

    I don't like all of my messages, missed calls, voice mail notification, text going into this MESSAGE folder. I figured out how to separate the TEXT from my message folder (YEAH) but I would like to remove my email from going into my MESSAGE folder -- I HAVE an email folder I don't need it in both places. Is that possible?
    I don't want to hide the MESSAGE folder cause I like knowing about missing calls, VM etc.
    What do you recommend to this novice BB user

    You can't keep your email from going to your messages folder. Hide the email specific folder, keep the main messages folder.

  • Can't stop auto email from support community

    Couple of days ago  I was logged on to the Apple Support Communities. Apparently while there  I  clicked on a wrong link and have been getting dozens Emails concerning  questions from that particular group.
      I logged in  to my PROFILE  and revised every check mark to NO.  I did save the changes  and was notified that it happened but I'm still getting the Emails.  HOW CAN  I STOP IT?

    Top right of any page in the thread, it says 'Actions'.
    Click the option that says 'Stop email notifications'.

    We receive the mail notification with attachment which has always same filename - "service_operation.pdf".

    Do you want to receive the e-mail as a pdf or e-mail? I suppose it is in a pdf. However, if you are unable to set teh attachment name, trying setting the e-mail in text format rather than pdf.
    You can check the SCOT setiing for SMTP> Internet>Set--> Output formats for SAP documents. Keep this value as TXT.

  • I cannot send email - error message as follows : 'The sender address (my email address) was rejected by the server smtp.tiscali.co.uk.' I can send email from other apple devices, and the email settings are identical. Any ideas?

    For some reason I cannot send email - all was working fine, but now I get the following error message when I try to send email:
    'The sender address (my email address) was rejected by the server smtp.tiscali.co.uk'
    I can receive incoming mail ok and I can send email from other Apple devices. The problem seems confined to my Mac Book Pro.

    I would recommend closing any open applications in multitasking and restarting the device.  If unfamiliar with multitasking, I have included a screenshot on how to process an application close.

    Once these steps are processed, attempt to send the photo again.

    I have an iPad running on 8.1 software.  I have several email messages in my inbox dated 9/29 and 9/30 that I can't move to trash.  I get the message, "Unable to Move."  I'm not having this problem with newer messages.

  • Error message when trying to email from iPhoto

    Just spoke to Apple support because I was unable to email from iPhoto unless I went through Mail (i.e. no templates). I had struggled with this for some months. The patient and helpful Apple people solved the problem after a couple of hours. Two-step verification in iCloud was the source. Since the email originates in the iPhoto app, it is necessary to use an app-specific password in iPhoto/ preferences/accounts/iCloud account.
    That's why my wife's computer didn't have the problem. She doesn't have two-step verification enabled.
    Thanks to Apple for the excellent support.

    Yes, LarryHN is right - two-step verification seems to be causing this problem in some cases.
    Other forum members reported, that creating  an app-specific password is required, see the post below:

    This solution is for those of you using 2-step verification for your Apple ID and are using iCloud as the mail server that you are trying to mail photos with.
    I too had this issue. The problem in my case occurred because I had setup 2-step authentication for my Apple ID. If you have done this then you will get the error message "the mail server did not recognize your email/password...". To solve the problem go to:
    https://appleid.apple.com
    Click "Manage Your Apple ID"
    Verify your identity with the device you selected (if this step does not show up then you have not likely set up 2-step authentication and this is not your solution)
    Click Password and Security in the left column
    Click Generate an app-specific password
    Enter iPhoto as the name of the app
    Copy the password and paste this into the password box in iPhoto where you would normally enter your apple ID (in the mail account section in iPhoto preferences).
    And...voila' (I hope)

    See - I didn't know you could do that with a mailto link! 8)
    But - this is a very unreliable way to send your email, since
    it depends on
    a) the sender having an email client installed, and b) that
    email client
    responding to the mailto link properly.
    And, by using mailto:, you cannot add any interactive
    elements to the
    subject line. Sorry.

    See if the Disk is issuing any S.M.A.R.T errors in Disk Utility...

    Open Activity Monitor in Applications>Utilities, select All Processes & sort on CPU%, any indications there?
    How much RAM & free space do you have also, click on the Memory & Disk Usage Tabs.
    Open Console in Utilities & see if there are any clues or repeating messages when this happens.
    In the Memory tab, are there a lot of Pageouts?
