Ink cartridge for photosmart can i used

dont remember my model but is a photosmart with touchsmart can I used ink cartridge 61

Hi @tercio7
Not knowing your printer model makes it a little difficult to answer your question with a cut and dry yes or no, but I can help you figure it out!
HP 61 2-pack Black/Tri-color Original Ink Cartridges compatibility;
HP Deskjet 1000 Printer series - J110
HP Deskjet 1050 All-in-One Printer series - J410
HP Deskjet 2000 Printer series - J210
HP Deskjet 2050 All-in-One Printer series - J510
HP Deskjet 3000 Printer series - J310
HP Deskjet 3050 All-in-One Printer series - J610
HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 2010 Printer K010
HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 2060 All-in-One Printer K110
I guess that was easier than I expected. No, the 61 cartridges do not work with any Photosmart printers.
You can use the following to determine which cartridges are compatible with your printer; Shop for HP ink and toner

  • Can I use Replacement Printer ink cartridges for HP officejet Pro 8610

I recently purchased an HP OfficeJet Pro 8610. I previously had an 8600. They both use the same ink cartridges. I had just installed some remanufactured 950 XL and 951 XL cartridges in the old printer and tried to use them in the new printer. Of course I got an error message that cartridges weren't HP but the printer would still work. I would like to know if I can use other remanufactured ink cartridges with the new printer or if there is some way for the printer to allow me to use other ink cartridges as the HP cartridges are way over priced for the consumers. I hope there is a person out there that is conservative like me and tries to find the best bargains on everything. Your solutions would be appreciated. I waited on HP Support Assistant for 10 minutes with a dialogue I would be connected to a technician in less than a minute. They must have been on break or some other excuse, so I thought I would try this instead. Blessings. John Richardson

    Hey @rockhoundjohn
Here's the thing, yes, you can refill your cartridges or use remanufactured cartridges, but you may run into problems.
QualityLogic, one of the world's foremost quality assurance organizations, tested the performance of HP inkjet print cartridges vs. remanufactured (refilled) brands. The results: original HP inkjet print cartridges far surpassed ink refills in both print quality and reliability.
Nearly one out of every six refilled ink cartridges tested was dead on arrival or failed prematurely
70% of refilled cartridges had some form of reliability problem
Count on HP original ink cartridges for consistent, worry-free printing. You may think you're saving money on remanufactured or refilled ink cartridges, but in the long run, the cost of wasted time, ink, and paper can more than make up the difference.  - Source
Most people think, 'well of course that is what HP or an HP representative would say', but I have done some research and found that many others have too. Here is a perfect example of somebody who does not work for HP in any way and basically is a customer advocate (in my opinion) ; Should you refill your printer’s ink cartridges? HP says no (of course) By Matthew Murray
I found the above article interesting and genuine.
My personal recommendation is to buy the HP XL cartridges as they are more cost efficient, and be mindful in the printer you choose when buying an inkjet. The 8610 was a good choice. The expected page yield of the HP 950XL High Yield Black Original Ink Cartridge is 2300 pages. The regular size cartridge page yield is 1000, still good but the XL is by far a better value. Some of the Photosmart printers or Deskjets are great for what they are intended for, but do not have as good of a cost per page.
HP's recommendation; Keep in mind that page yield is just one component of cost, and that factors such as quality, reliability, productivity, and efficiency affect cost as well. Products that work reliably will ultimately save you time and money. When you choose an inkjet printer, make sure you consider your individual printing needs.
    - Source
To summarize, again, yes you can refill the cartridges. The printer is not programmed to reject them. Sometimes the cartridges will not work and of course because they are non HP, HP would not be able to do anything to help. HP cartridges have a 2 year manufacture warranty; Limited Warranty for HP Ink Cartridges and Customer-Replaceable Printheads for HP Inkjet Supplies, this may give you comfort knowing HP stand behind their product.

Only if the iPhone was purchased as unlocked, and I don't believe Apple is selling the iPhone 4S as unlocked yet.
Purchasing an iPhone at the no-contract price or the full retail price does not automatically equate to the iPhone being unlocked.
    You purchased this iPhone where?
As Allan said, purchasing without contract does not mean the iPhone 4S is unlocked (which is what you need for using it with any GSM carrier which I assume is what the OP wants). If you want to use the iPhone 4S with anyone besides AT&T, Verizon, or Sprint, you have to purchase it unlocked. And to be clear, purchasing it without contract from any of the 3 carriers mentioned, still means it is locked to that carrier and cannot be used with any of the other ones, period.
You should confirm with whoever you purchased the iPhone 4S from whether it is unlocked, but I bet it is locked to a carrier and you need to return it ASAP! Then wait for the unlocked iPhone 4Ss to come out and purchase straight from Apple, with the clear understanding that it is unlocked.

  • Does anyone know if iWork for iOS can be used on both iPhone 4S and iPad 2? If I bought Pages, say, could I use it on both devices? Thanks

Does anyone know if iWork for iOS can be used on both iPhone 4S and iPad 2? If I bought Pages, say, could I use it on both devices? Thanks

It is the same version. So the iWork package will work on both, but Siri will only work on the iPhone 4S. So you could dictate on that, and use iCloud to finish the document on your iPad (assuming you have both). Cheers

But at present I am in India , and here the same printer model comes with different design of cartridge. I cant find Hp 140 and hp 141 cartridge in any of the shop here. Hi,The 140 ink cartridges are intended for the Middle East and Africa. In India you may find the 860 and 861 ink cartridges which compatible with your printer:http://h10060.www1.hp.com/pageyield/en-150/yields/PSAIOC4200_page.html?cCode=in Get both the 860 and 861 genuine HP ink cartridges (otherwise you won't be entitled for a free phone support for a such), then contact HP support to reset your printer to accept the local cartridges. You may find the local phone number in the following link:http://www8.hp.com/in/en/contact-hp/phone-assist.html#section1 You may find more about the proccess in the following document:http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c02558798&cc=us&dlc=en&lc=en&product=4066452&tmp_track_link=ot_search Shlomi

  • Black ink cartridge on photosmart printer 7250 not working

the black ink cartridge on my photosmart 7250 printer is not working.  I've tried everything.  I've aligned the cartridges and tried reprinting several times to see if the ink cartridge will start printing.  Everything has failed.  Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

You're welcome, and thank you for the updated information
I will recommend that you follow the steps within this Fixing Print Quality Problems document first. If that however does not resolve the issue and the black continues to not print, please try manually cleaning the printhead follow the steps in this 'Missing or Failed Printhead' document for your printer.
If after both of those documents the black still isn't printing properly what I suggest next will depend on if your printer is in warranty or not. If the printer is still under warranty (use this warranty checker to find out) then please call our technical support team for further assistance. If the printer is no longer under warranty, you can try the printhead soaking steps from @Bob_Headrick.

  • New ink cartridges in Photosmart C5180 but still not printing clearly. How do I clean the heads?

I changed all 5 ink cartridges on my HP C5180 Photosmart All-in-One printer, but the print is still as if I'm out of black ink.  How do I clean the heads and realign them?

    steelpony5555 wrote:
When your printer stops printing one or 2 of the colors it means your print head is clogged. Tech support will have you remove the print head and clean the copper contacts on the bottom, but that is not enough. Hold the head in a rag and shake it, lots of ink will come out of the inside. I saw one case where the guy held his print head under hot water till it ran clear. Not sure of the long term effects on the head if you do that. Mine has clogged twice now and it has been ink inside the head.
I would absolutely suggest not shaking the printhead.  Ink is required in the printhead, and if air gets into the printhead it can cause printhead failure.  See this page for an ongoing discussion.
For the C5180 this is moot, since the printhead cannot be removed to shake it in the C5180 with its permanant printhead.  I would suggest three levels of printhead cleaning as described in Step 3 of this page for the c5180.

  • Help! Problem with Ink Cartridge Compatibility Photosmart C4383 in my present location

Need your help! I bought my printer in the Middle East almost 2years already Photosmart C4383 with the Ink Cartridges 140(black) & 141(tricolor).  Since, I already resides in my country now, the Philippines and I still use the printer.  Just this week, I already run out of Ink Supply and decided to buy one.  Since, I bought the printer in another country, I decided to check in the site for compatibility for Ink Cartridges.  The results stated that the Photosmart C4383 belongs to Photosmart C4380 series and it also states there that HP74 (black) & HP75 (tricolor) are the compatible cartridges for the printer in my region.  Since, I still have the tricolor 141 ink cartridge available, I decided to buy only the HP74 (Black) ink cartridge.  But when I place  the HP74 (Black) Ink Cartridge to my printer, I was surprised to see in the display screen that the Ink Cartridge I bought is not compatible with the printer. I was so disappointed because if I cannot use the product then I just waste of money and  and check again and again in the sites for ink compatibility in my region but still stated the same that HP74 (black) is the compatible ink cartridge and also saw a result that states to "reset the printer to work in my current location".  Needs your help to enlighten me and give me the right solutions for these problems and the steps how to do it the right way.   I need to use my printer so badly. Thanks.

You will need to Contact HP and request a regionalization reset.  This will require you have access to your computer and the printer while on the phone with the HP agent.  If the C4383 is a model only sold in certain regions it may not be possible to have the region reset.

  • Need MICR compatible ink cartridge for Officejet Pro 8500A Premium to print checks.

I need to print bank accepted checks on my Officejet Pro 8500A Premium printer using MICR ink.  I cannot find a compatible MICR cartridge for this printer.  There are MICR cartridges available for other HP printers.  Does anyone know of a compatible cartridge?

Try using the multilevel uninstaller in the HP software driver CD. Browse the contents of the CD and look for the "Util" folder and open it. In the "Util" folder, open the "CCC" folder. In the "CCC" folder, double click on the "Uninstall_L3.bat" file. Don't use the "Uninstall_L4.bat" file. It could remove files that have shared dependencies with the HP software. Restart the computer and then reinstall the software afterwards. Let me know if it worked or not.
