You need to follow their instructions and call HP Technical Phone Support to be able to use the defective warranty coverage on your cartridge to to able to get a new one.
If you are in Canada or US call 800 474 6836, or you can Contact HP Worldwide.
HP printers generally have a 1 year warranty from their purchase date, you can verify the warranty using the following link if you would like; warranty check.

    This is an iPad user to user forum, so you are not addressing Apple. Depending on how many user helpers are on-line, it may take several hours, or longer, to get a response.
    Try this  - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.) No data/files will be erased.

  • Black ink cartridge on photosmart printer 7250 not working

    the black ink cartridge on my photosmart 7250 printer is not working.  I've tried everything.  I've aligned the cartridges and tried reprinting several times to see if the ink cartridge will start printing.  Everything has failed.  Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

    I will recommend that you follow the steps within this Fixing Print Quality Problems document first. If that however does not resolve the issue and the black continues to not print, please try manually cleaning the printhead follow the steps in this 'Missing or Failed Printhead' document for your printer.
    If after both of those documents the black still isn't printing properly what I suggest next will depend on if your printer is in warranty or not. If the printer is still under warranty (use this warranty checker to find out) then please call our technical support team for further assistance. If the printer is no longer under warranty, you can try the printhead soaking steps from @Bob_Headrick.

    I bought phone with back camera not working so first i done a restore and update to no avail, then done a restore as new phone still no joy, so i decided to buy new camera which i fitted no problems but its still not working? what else can i do as there is no warranty on the phone?

    Find a third-party repair shop with experience in fixing iPhone cameras. Apple won't help you.
    Be aware, since Apple does not sell iPhone parts, there is no legitimate source for such, & many on the market are counterfeit.

    I have replaced an old battery on my 5th Gen iPod. Then I noticed that the click wheel wasn't working at all. I have checked all the connections and everything seemed connected but still not working. I bought another click wheel, replaced it and it's still now working. Maybe there is something else wrong.

    The Hold switch is in the OFF position?
    I don't have experience with a 5th gen iPod, but on older models, there is an internal connector and ribbon cable that links the Hold switch to the logic board.  Makes sure that connection is secure, and not damaged.  The iPod may think the Hold switch is ON, when it is not.  That would cause the click wheel to be unresponsive.

    I tried out with another charger but of no use. Also I tried out with the following steps suggested by HP:
    1) Flee power discharge.
    2) Remove and reseat RAM/HDD.

    Also, sometime back, I contacted a service center for this problem, and they informed me that there is a transistor iin power line of the laptop which is not working. And we need to replace the laptop's mainboard to rectify the problem.

  • EPMA not working: Requested service not found error , version 11.1.2.2

    I am facing problem as my EPMA (version 11.1.2.2) connection is not working and it is showing the following error after giving the user credentials
    Code: com.hyperion.awb.web.common.DimensionServiceException
    Description: An error occurred processing the result from the server.
    The connection was working fine till last Friday and I had to restart all the services followed by a network slowness. After that I could not make EPMA working. I have tried the following steps so far (as recommended on similar issues)
    1. Increased the DimensionServer startup time to 1800 in BPMA_Server_Config.xml
    2. Restarted EPMA server and services.
    Please note that I have the environment where EPMA is on Windows server and Essbase is in Linux server. Hyperion planning and Essbase connection is working fine. I am using Oracle 11g for EPMA relational database.
    Would appreciate your help to resolve the issue.

    2. Is the phone purchased second hand?   
    Used my nokia ID on nokia 920 to activate unlimited subscription.. worked fine,,
    the phone then had issues, Nokia care replaced the phone with new one.
    Now unlmited subscription does not work for new/old nokia ID
    3. Is this the first time you activate your subscription with Nokia Music?  Yes
    4. What's your current location? Bangalore 
    5. What's the exact error message?  No Error
    6. Where did you purchased your phone?  Store, But phone got replaced.
    7. Did you use your Nokia account to sign up or subscribe with Nokia Music before?  Same ID/ New ID used in replaced phone.

    The problem is because the Nokia Music subscription is attached to the IMEI of your device ..Since your phone has been replaced, you need to contact Nokia thru' appropriate link in HERE to resolve the issue ..

  • Sounds not working after replacing hardrive

    I am running a
    HP Pavilion DV9700 Laptop

    I cannot find where to check the Sound Option in the BIOS.. When the laptop starts up, I am pressing F10, it goes to the BIOS screen but I cant find where to check the sound settings.
    I changed over my hard drive and since then my sound hasnt worked it is saying "No Audio Devices Installed" I installed the Realtech AC97 but it still is not working. In the Device Manager it is showing it is working properly (no yellow signs or anything), but I cannot get the sound to work, so I am thinking the BIOS has something to do with it, I just cant find anything to do with sound.
    Any advice would be appreciated.

    I got it working by resetting the PRAM.....shutdown, then as soon as you restart the machine, hold the oprion-command-P-R buttons on the keyboard until you hear the second startup tone.

  • Sudden motion sensor not working with replacement harddisk?

    I replaced the original harddisk of my Macbook pro (500 GB, 7.200 rpm, model no. HTS725050A9A362) with the retail version of the same harddisk (model no. HTS725050A9A364).
    Now I'm missing the typical "click" when the sudden motion sensor parks the heads and I'm afraid it's not working - although "pmset -g" shows "sms 1".
    Is there anything else I can check, e.g. enable head parking at harddisk-firmware level?

    As has been said, Apple's Sudden Motion Sensor is not actually built into the hard drive. In fact, some hard drives with their own version of a sudden motion sensor like Seagate's G-Force Protection actually will set up a conflict with Apple's Sudden Motion Sensor.
    I installed the same WD in my Mac as you did, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I have been enjoying mine.

  • Black ink cartridge not working after replacing

    I replaced the black ink cartridge on my HP Photosmart 6510 because the print was getting faded.  Now the black will not print.  I used an original HP replacement cartridge and inserted it according to specifications.  I ran a test page and all colors printed except the black so I ran a printhead clean to no avail.  I wet a paper towel and touched it to the ink and it is not dried up.  Help!

    It is definitely a hardware problem then.  Try the steps in the document below.  If that doesn't work, you will need to contact tech support.  If you are still in warranty, HP may replace the printer at no cost to you. I'll link the information to get in touch with them below. The link will take you to a form to fill out. Once you fill it out and it is processed, it will give you the printers warranty information, a case number, and the phone number to call.

  • Macbook Pro not working with replacement logic board

    Hello everyone! About two months ago, someone spilled tea over my macbook pro. Upon taking it to the Apple store the representative told me that it would cost me over $1,000 to repair it and that I would be better off getting a new one (I know most of you have heard that many times). I inspected the Macbook and I realized that when I tried turning it on the keyboard would not light up and, but the sleep light was on. Furthermore, I heard the hard drive and the fans spinning. The tea only spilled on the right side of the Macbook so I figured that would help me narrow down the issue. The apple representative told me that I needed to replace the logic board so I went and bought a replacement one that was the same model. Before I screwed all the pieces back in, I wanted to try it out and see if it would turn on. Unfortunately I still have the same problem. It seems that the logic board is not the problem, but I am not sure what it might be. I'm pretty sure the CD/DVD drive is damaged, but I don't see why that would prevent the Macbook from turning on. I did a little research and I notice that most people test the graphics card to see if it is working, but I don't know how to do that. I have an older Macbook Pro, the motherboard is model 820-1993-A and I believe the model of the Macbook is A1150. Please help, this macbook was a gift and I don't want to throw it out!

    Well I would like to find out what the piece is that is causing me the problem so that I could replace it! I already replaced the most expensive piece and the hard drive seems to be working fine so it doesn't leave many things. I just would like to know how I would be able to check to see if the video card is damaged.

  • Touchpad not working after replacing motherboard

    Hello there, I had a bad motherboard a while back in my Pavilion g6t-2200 (Intel),  After speaking with HP support, they told me they would replace it for $350, to which I declined, and opted to replace it myself. I bought a motherboard for a HP Pavilion g7-2240us motherboard, replaced it and everything works fine, all except for the touch pad.  I have since checked and rechecked the connection to single ribbon cable to the motherboard.  The LED next to the touchpad does not light up at all, and installing/reinstalling drivers does not do anything - keeps saying it cannot interact with the touchpad.  It is NOT an issue where the touchpad is locked! Asking for your advice, please assist!
