Input Field Layout - Documementation For Various Address Cleanse Engine

Hi All,
Where I can get a documentation for input field layout for various address cleanse engine available in Global Address Cleanse transformation:
1. Australia
2. Canada
3. EMEA
4. Global Address
5. Japan
6.USA
Thnaks,
Amit

Hi,
Thanks for the reply.
I meant that both usa and germany address has only street and country information and without other information.
And of cos without sufficient information, global address cleanse would not be able to correct it.
The difference i am having is that, after global address cleanse, the PRIMARY_NAME1 field of the output field of the germany record is filled up as what we gave for the input However, the PRIMARY_NAME1 field of the output field of the USA record is blank.
Both records are of status info code 2000 (Unable to identify locality, region, and/or postcode information on input. )
So the question is that, if the USA engine is not able to cleanse the data, would it map the input street field onto the output PRIMARY_NAME1 field? Or would it give a blank PRIMARY_NAME1 field?

  • Can we Change the backround color of an Input field in Webdynpro for ABAP.

    Hi Experts ?
Can we change the background color of an Input field in WebDynpro for ABAP based on results we receive from any function module or BAPI?? .
    Thanks in advance .
    Regards ,
    LAS

Yes. We can change the background of an input field. The way you do this is by editing the theme that webdynpro application uses. To edit the theme, you will need to install NWDS PLUS the theme edit plugin (Available for download from SAP).
Once you have edited the theme, you will need to upload your theme back to application server. You can use the program : BSP_UPDATE_MIMEREPOS to do this.
Bydefault, the theme used by webdynpro applications is :
    /SAP/PUBLIC/BC/UR/nw5/themes/sap_tradeshow
You can apply another theme by calling the webdynpro application with a theme parameter. For example, if my webdynpro application name is "zgopaltest", then
    <i><b>http://<server>:port/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/zgopaltest?SAP-EP-THEMEROOT=/SAP/PUBLIC/BC/UR/nw5/themes/sap_tradeshow</b></i>
    will apply the sap_tradeshow theme.
Likewise, you can apply diffrent theme. There is another theme that SAP provides. Its called : sap_hcb. Hence, you can apply the theme to the above application by:
    <i><b>http://<server>:port/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/zgopaltest?SAP-EP-THEMEROOT=/SAP/PUBLIC/BC/UR/nw5/themes/sap_hcb</b></i>

I am looking for a list of address components which are validated by a country specific Address Cleanse Engine.
Data Services Reference Guide does not go into such details.

  • How can I create a Text-Input Field in BexAnalyzer for a Planning Function

    Hello,
i want to create a pre calculation(contribution accounting) for Materials in BI-Integrated Planning. These Materials aren't in the master data. So I create a new Info Object for pre calculated materials with only a material-number as key and a text-description.
Now I want to write a Exit-Function, which creates new materials in these Info Object. The user should start this function in a planning application in BexAnalyzer. There the user should have the possibility to enter a text-description for the new material. How can I create such a Text-Field in BexAnalyzer and how can I read this text filed in a planning function (exit).
    Thanks in advance

    Hi Jürgen,
you can create a parameter for this in the exit function and a variable for the parameter. In BEx Analyzer then create a button for the planning function; in the button parameterization use VAR_NAME = , i.e. use an Excel formula here to get the value from an Excel input field.
The command range should be some 'hidden area' in your Excel sheet.
But may be you don't need this. Use a characteristic without master data. Then ensure that that the query uses the option 'key' as display. In new lines you can then enter the key, the system creates a SID on the fly (but the text table will not be updated). In this scenario you may take text also from the key. May be you can update the text table (online or in batch) by simply using function modules from function group RSNDI_MD (not released by SAP).
But observere that the system in BI Planning reads only the active version, i.e. if you change something on the fly the changes may not be visible.

  • Fields and Table for Delivery address in a PO

    Hi Gurus,
I want to find out the fields and the corresponding table for the delivery address in a PO (line item details). It is the address of the plant. I searched the tables ADRNR, ADRN2 and one customized field (/GLB/Ship_to) in the table EKPO, but of no help. I can find out from other tables the address of the plant, but I want to go to a table for PO, where I can have the delivery address/ship to address.
    Please help.
    Thanks,
    Kumar

    Hi
For Plant Address, check the table T001W
If you want complete address details, take the ADRNR field value from T001W and pass it to the field ADDRNUMBER of table ADRC, you will get the details.
Normally addresses are stored in the table ADRC. If you gave any other Delivery Address in the PO, instead of Plant, get the value of ADRN2 from EKPO and pass it to ADDRNUMBER of ADRC and you will get the address detials.

  • ME22N: Default value of address group field when searching for an address

    Hi,
    ME22N -->  in the «Item» section --> «Delivery address» tab --> «Address» field --> «Adress group» field
Which transaction in SPRO allows me to set the default value for «Adress group» ?
Thanks a lot for your help.
    Julien

The MM Super user realized during a traning with a new employee that this user did not had the default address group ME01 while trying to enter a delivery address in the Purchase Order. So when this user searches for a delivery address, he has to to through ALL the delivery addresses, and not only the adresses included in address group ME01. (This can lead to delivery problems if the user doe snot enter the right address)
We have SAP R/3 Enterprise 4.7, with SP: SAPKB62065 (Basis), SAPKA62065 (Cross-application), SAPKH47031 (Logistics and accounting), SAPKE47087 (HR).

  • Address cleanse output to be in English instead of German.

During address cleansing, region names in the addresses being processed by BODS are coming in their local country language names. For example one german region name output is coming as "Nordrhein-Westfalen" instead of the English description "Nrth Rhine Westfalia".
I have set the script code to Latin and Output Country Language to English in the address cleanse transform. But still I am getting the same output.
Also I am using the German Address pack for the address cleanse transform mentioned above.
Any pointers to solve the issue mentioned above would be greatly be appreciated.
    Thanks.

The LATIN script code tells the address engine to use the Latin character set used by English and the Western European languages.  The OUTPUT_COUNTY_LANGUAGE option applies to the country field only.  If you want to post the regions in English you can use a lookup table or search/replace table to convert.

  • Screen layout changes for PO

    Hi expert
In the document type i have  change the screen layout to MBF from copying NBF, but i am not getting   effect of changes which i had made for MBF..
    Regard
    Nabil

    HI,
There are up to six different field selection keys.
Eg: 1. Field selection key: transaction
          2. Field selection key: activity type
          3. Field selection key: purchasing document type
          4. Field selection key: item category/document category
The successive combination of the field selection keys listed above decides which input characteristics the fields have in the document. So not only MBF, it is the combination of the setting that determines the field layout.
    + For mandatory fields
    . For optional fields
    For display fields
    - For suppressed fields
the strongest is suppresed, then display, then mandatory and last is optional.
ie , for eg combine fld sel key 1=  suppressed and fld sel key 2 = mandatory, result is field is suppressed. Similarly , ther final result after combining the settings determine the field status.

  • SmartSync Application:Passing Input Field parameters& Fetching Data.

    Hello SDNers
I have created a sample Smart Sync Application from Custom Syncbo (Search Functionality).
Also Created a Custom Jsp with One button for "GetList" and 3 Input Fields namely Name(mandatory), Email, Address and 1 Table.
Overall fuctionality (also of sysncbo ) such that after filling the fields, wenever person will press Getlist, these three parameters shud get passed to backend and then fetch data to fill the table..
" I dont have ne clue regarding how to pass parameters and fetch details.."
Can anyone give me a code for the same or tell me how to access DB parameters mentioned in Bapiwrapper/syncbo.
    Kindly Help..
    Thanks n Regards....

    Hi Chetan,
First I have some queries on your post.
When you say Smart Sync Application, you created it from NWDS using MDK plugin right..?
when you say access table etc u mean tables related to Sync BOs in Mobile deivice database Db2e right.?
When you say on click of getlist button it should pass parameters to backend in the sense MO bile device backend i.e., db2e not MI or R/3.
but any how, when you create a Smart Sync Application in NWDS using MDK plugin for meRepMeta.xml MDK plug in will generate all the APIs interfacing to your data on device.
using these APIs you can set,get data from the local database but it all depends on the properties of the fields in SyncBO.

    Sai.

  • How to do validation of input fields

    Hi all,
I have a rquirement to do the validation of input fields. Can anybody explain me how to go for that???Please explain in detail.U can also give me a link where i can find the tutorial for doing this.

    Hi Amit,
What everyone has said above is correct - in the method of your action simply test for whatever condition you need to validate for.  However, the following tutorial shows you how to use Web Dynpro's Message Manager to display the messages on the screen in an easy user-friendly way:
    <a href="https://www.sdn.sap.comhttp://www.sdn.sap.comhttp://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sap.km.cm.docs/library/webdynpro/wd%20java/wd%20tutorials/a%20simple%20input%20form%20with%20message%20and%20error%20service%20support.pdf">Enabling Message and Error Support</a>
In addition, there are some validations that are done automatically depending on what you have your input fields set to - for instance, if you bind your input field to a date and a user enters words into the field instead of an actual date, it will automatically display an error message.  To learn how to turn this feature on and off, see this tutorial
    <a href="https://www.sdn.sap.comhttp://www.sdn.sap.comhttp://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sap.km.cm.docs/library/uuid/edf6ea90-0201-0010-7696-a68662381c12">Using Validating and Non-Validating Actions</a>

  • Input field - entry is not in the list of values

    Hi
I have a very strange thing going on in my aPP.
I use an input field to which I attach an on Enter event.
When user presses 'Enter', a pop up window appears with the list of countries.
Selecting a country automatically puts this country into the input field. So far so good.
The problem, however, I  am experiencing is in a situation where the user  enters a valid value into the input field
without pressing 'Enter' and then continues pressing other buttons in the app. What happens is that the web dynpro framework immediately throws an exception saying the value is not in the set of accepted values.
I do not understand why the system throws such an exception if no set of values has yet been attached to the input field (by ImodifiableValueSet for example).
    Any idea?
    Thank you
    yuval peery

    Hi
    1. In comp controller  in wdDoInit I get the list of countries and write them to a local node.
    2. This node is mapped to a view in a different window.
    3. When I press enter,  a pop up window is created. The values mapped from the comp controller to this view are presented to
the user in a nice table.
    4. When the user selects a line  in the table, the method writes back the value to my input field.
        Quite straight forward.
The problem is  that when the user enters a valid name into the input field before even pressing "Enter" the framework
returns "entry is not in the set of values".
    Frustrating.
    regards
    yuval

  • Problem with time input field

    Hi,
I have an input field which mapped to a context attribute of type Time. When I try to enter any value during runtime I have a small message in the bottom of my webpage ( Error during parse, please give a value in form 10:11:12 AM ). After that I should enter a good value otherwise I cannot do any other action.
    Thanks,
    Younes

    Hallo Younes,
that's the purpose of implicit validation based on the dictionary type definition.
By default the format of the built-in type 'time' is "<b>hh:mm:ss a</b>" but you can easily change this format by defining your own simple data type. Name this local dictionary type <i>MyTime</i>, select the built-in type 'time' and then specifiy its <i>format</i> (tab 'Representation') via "<b>hh:mm</b>". In this case the generic validation will accept '12:10' as input field value.
For more details look at  http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/docs/api/java/text/SimpleDateFormat.html
