INPUT HELP FOR THE TABLE CONTROLLS

Hi all.
I have an issue in table controlls.
I need to give input help(drop box )in the field of table controlls in the module pool program.
Can any body help me to solve this issue.

As suggested,this will help you.
RSDEMO_TABLE_CONTROL
If you observed,then you can find that the particular field is maintained as listbox.
In PBO,populate the required values into internal table.
After that loop at the internal table and put it in table control.
The follg. part of code explains it.
LOOP at sdyn_itab into sdyn_sdw4 WITH CONTROL TABLE_CONTROL.
ENDLOOP.

Do you konw this function?
The following steps is that:
1,I create the Input ready Query.
2,I can insert the new record.
3,I can use the input help for the characteristics.
4,When I double the space, I got the pop-up for input help.
5,I want to get the function is that:
for example:
char1 is the char2 attribute.

when I write the "a" for the char1 in the new record at input ready query, I only want to got "m","n","u" for char2 from the char2 input help.
How can do it?

Hello Leon,
As you have already set char1 as an attribute of char2, what you would need to do is create an attribute variable for char2 of type exit.
Using a variable exit, you can pass the value of char1 to char2. This would then automatically restrict the selection list to "m", "n", "u" as values for char2 when you enter "a" as the value for char1.

I have requirement to Restrict the input Help for 0MATERIAL in the BPS Layout.
For Example if the Planning Package is Restricted to SALES ORGANISATION ( 3000 ) then the system shuold check the 0MAT_SALES where SALES ORGANISATION IS "3000" )AND PASS THE Material Numbers to the 0material list.
I have Copied the standard Funtcion group "UPF_VARIABLE_USER_EXIT" to Z fucttion and have attached to Z Variabe as User Exit .
this Variable is Attached to 0material in the Planning Pakage. So tha now the 0MATERIAL is restricted to the variable which is having the User Exit.
But how to acces the Values of Planning Package for which the Layout is bein Executed from this Z User Exit ???
I Know how to restrict the input help, but my only problem is that how to get the values of Planning package through this User Exit.
Please suggest if it is possible.

As I understand from your question,you know how to restrict but the issue is to know the value in the package with which you need to restrict.
There are two tables which can help you finding the value used in package for sales organisation:
1. UPC_PACKAGE
2. UPC_OPTIOS
How to use ?
From UPC Package you will get one GUID, Hit the second table UPC_OPTIOS with this GUID.
In field "FIELDNAME" enter the name of the characteristic whose value is req (sales organisation in your case)

Input help for AUART field on the selection screen

Hi,
I need to create a Z search help for the Field AUART ( sales document type ) .
The search help should be created in this way :
   i need to group these Document types under one name ( say SALO) ZCM1, ZCM2,ZDM1,ZDM2,ZRE1,ZRE2,ZS01,ZS02,ZS04.
Then i need to group these document types under another name ( say PRJO) ZCM3,ZDM3,ZS03.
Then i need to group both SALO and PRJO under one name 'BOTH'.
So my new search help will be SALO
                                             PRJO
                                             BOTH
If i select SALO , it should pull data from the Table for all the document types specified. Similarly for PRJO and BOTH .
Can anyone please advice me in this regard at the earliest

F4 HELP for the field

HI all,
in the report selection screen i have one field for which F4 HELP doesnt exits, even in the table for that field F4 HELP is not there but the user requests me to get the F4 HELP for that field in the selection screen .

Input help for cost center & WBS element not working

Hi ALL
We are using SRM 4.0 with backend ECC 5.0.
Input help for attributes cost center (CNT), WBS element (PRO) are not functioning.
When tried to search for input help (F4) on the above attributes, I am getting message "Display not possible (Inconsistency in the input help)".
I even applied SAP note 746788 for cost center search help.
Can you tell me if I have missed any config settings?

Did you managed the transactional RFC destination in the customizing (where you define all your log. systems it is an additional field in the table control).

F4 help for ALV table field

Hi Experts,
I need to implement F4 help for ALV table field.
I my scenario, I am using two views. If we click on any record in fist view then it displays the popup window (second view) with relevant record details.
Here one of the columns having fieldnames corresponding values (old values), for correcting old values I have created new value editable column, we can enter new value for old value then we can save it. Till this functionality is ok.
Then I have included OVS help for new value field. Here I need to get f4 help for newvalue field relevant to fieldname.
For example: user clicks on f4 in cell (new value) then if corresponding fieldname is u2018WERKSu2019 then it shows the plant values
Here I can get fieldname, domain name and value table using method set_attribute ().
Same concept I have implemented in ALV using F4IF_FIELD_VALUE_REQUEST. It is working fine
Here I have little bit confusion. Please advise me how to implement in OVS.

Requirement is to provide a Standard Input Help on a Table Column in Web UI. The Context node is a Value node and that column should be in editable mode.
And how can I get standard search in Web UI that is available in GUI for searching the Transaction No. in T- Code CRMD_ORDER.

Selection-screen: Input help for VTWEG

Hello!
Can anybody help me with the following problem:
I have two select-options (VKORG and VTWEG) on my selection screen. Now there should be the possibility to restrict the values shown as input help for VTWEG after having selected a value for VKORG.
I've already tried to do this by using a matchcode object but for VKORG and VTWEG I was not able to find suitable search helps.
In my opinion this should be possible without using the "AT SELECTION-SCREEN ON VALUE-REQUEST FOR ...". If not, it would be interesting to getting to know your approaches to this task.

Module pool ---Problem in finding the line index for the table control

I am working in Module pool programming.
My requirement is when i select any record on the lead selection I need to find out the index of the line on which row i have selected.

Dynamic output & input fields in the table control

HI Guys,
How can one change the attribute of input field to output field basically greying of field) dynamically
based on the some flag. Loop at screen does not work. I need to change the attributes
of field 'outfiled' and output field display only'.
Any help is highly appreciated.

I generated a table control (ERP 6.2) and somewhere I found the coding like this (the name of the table control is TABLE_CONTROL):
*&spwizard: output module for tc 'TABLE_CONTROL'. do not change this lin
*&spwizard: get lines of tablecontrol
module TABLE_CONTROL_get_lines output.
g_TABLE_CONTROL_lines = sy-loopc.
If I do a loop at the screen at this place, I can control the individual input/output for the screen fields (the table fields). In my work area (WA_CONTROL) I can see the actual value of fields. Depending on this, I choose to enable/disable input via:
loop at screen.
if wa_control-material <> ' '.
screen-input = '0'.
modify screen.
endif.
endloop.

F4 help for custom table field - to be used when populating data thru SM30

Hi,
I have a custom table with 5 fields - say A, B, C, D and E. While populating data to the table through SM30, I need to create a F4 help for the field C. A custom function module needs to be used.
I have created a module for the same in the event PROCESS ON VALUE-REQUEST of the function group of the table.
But the F4 for field C depends on the values put in fields A and B.
I am not able to get the values of fields A and B from within the module PROCESS ON VALUE-REQUEST.
Please help me to create the F4 help.
