InputMethodListener works in 1.3 and not in 1.4

Question

Hello,
The following code snippest works well in JRE 1.3.1_01, but doesn't work in 1.4.2 (the event is not called at all and the debug message is not displayed).
From what we've looked there is a need to implement InputMethodRequests(), but I see that it is already implemented in Component, so it's not clear to me what we need to do here.
Does anybody have a clue about this?

I'm having the exact same problem. Can anyone tell what's wrong?
P.S.
Some examples suggest adding ActionListener, but the action event is only fired when Enter key is pressed while editing, not when the text changes.
