INS-40724 No locally defined network interface matches the SCAN address

Hi All,
Getting the above error.
I verified that:
Public IP on both nodes is Primary interface
SCAN IP are on same subnet as Public IP network interface
SSH connectivity is verified on both nodes.
thanks

HI,
Define a public interface with a subnet matching the one you want to use for the SCAN. None of the locally defined network interfaces has a subnet matching the SCAN subnet.

  • Playlist in local PC does not match the playlist on the cloud?

    I have a Mac as primary iTunes library and turned on iTunes Match & uploaded all to cloud. Now I turn on iTunes Match on another Windows PC but the playlist in the local PC does not match the cloud. Please help.

    Thanks for the suggestion, but it doesn't work for me. For whatever reason, when I re-enable iTunes Match on my iOS device (iPad) after clearing the Music app out, it repopulates with with all sorts of "junk" old playlists and folders I've formerly deleted. I wish it would match my cleaned up library on my PC and said corresponding playlists and folders...but it doesn't. Some of the playlists match, but many don't. These same rogue "junk" lists periodically re-appear in my PC library too--no matter how many times I delete them. Frustrating. If anyone has a word of advice for me, I'd be extremely grateful. Thanks.

  • External ip adress at the server network interface behind the router

    Hello to all!
    I am installing MacOSX Snow Leopard Server and using it behind my AirPort router as a mail and web server. I was setup Airport at the NAT section with 'Enable default host at' option and all services workning well, but one thing that i want to understand is the 'network interfaces' at the 'Server admin' of Leopard Server. There is listed only internal ip adress (10.0.1.2) that use the my server, but there is no my static external ip adress. Is it correct ? Or i should manualy also to add a external ip adress which is now actually used with my AirPort router?
    If i should, so how do it correctly, using virtual interfaces at the network section or somewhere else?

    So, with any Airport routers i can't to route my public static IP adress to the MacOSX Server machine? I need another router device for this, am i right?
    Your Airport uses your public static IP address.
    Your Airport is typically then configured to port-forward inbound traffic along to your server at your own private static IP address via NAT. The mechanism known as port-forwarding is (once it is configured) how traffic routing to your public static IP address gets routed to your private static IP address.
    In general (and unless something like NAT is involved), there's only one host box active at one IP address at a time.
    I am not sure, but i think that at the server network interface i should has a public static IP adress, but with this configuration i can't see it.
    If you would so kind as to tell me what particular part(s) of [this article|http://labs.hoffmanlabs.com/node/275] are confusing and why, and I'll see if I can address the confusion and to update the article.

  • AADSTS50011: The reply address does not match the reply addresses configured for the application

    Can anyone tell me where to update the reply address?
    I have AD synced from on-prem to Azure, then I setup a website on azurewebsites.net, then created a CNAME record from portal.mydomain.com to portal.azurewebsites.net. When I try to login using portal.mydomain.com I get:
    AADSTS50011: The reply address does not match the reply addresses configured for the application.
    Can anyone help? Thanks
    Frank Russo

    Hi Frank69,
    Thanks for posting here!
    It appears to me that the application is unable to find the URL you have configured on Azure or could be missing from the list. As a result the application is attempting to authenticate against AAD but failing to match the URl it wants.
    I would suggest you to re-configure your AAD application on Azure and set one or more reply URLs.

  • How should I add a new physical network interface to the system?

    Hello:
    I am about to test my own NIC driver.
    I have used add_drv to add my driver.
    I have assigned an IP address to the sytem in the /etc/hosts file and corresponding network mask in the /etc/netmasks file, too.
    But when I tried to ping this IP address, it reported an error message saying"ICMP Host Unreachable from gateway localhost .....".
    I wonder if the system knows this physical network address.
    Does this have something to do with the /etc/hostname.* file?
    If this is the case, what should I name the "*" part of this file?
    Any advice will be appreciated.
    Steven

    Hello Shridhar:
    Thanks for your kindly reply.
    I just noticed that the system would try to plumb the interface during the booting process but failed with a error saying "ifconfig:plumb:XXXX:Bad file number", where XXXX is the * part of /etc/hostname.*
    Does not mean I have assigned a illegal interface name to this interface?
    It seems that man page doesn't contain any information about error messages.
    I use the form XXX0, where XXX is the name of the NIC driver.
    Any advice will be appreciated.
    Steven
    You should plumb the interface and bring it up with
    the ifconfig command. Do a man on ifconfig for more
    details. What was the add_drv command used ? Based on
    your driver's name, you can setup the hostname.*
    file's name to automatically setup and initialize the
    NIC inetrface everytime the system boots up.

  • Do primary domain network interfaces need an IP address?

    To give a bit of background on this question...
    Our company is in the process of being fully PCI compliant (this is the UK btw) and part of this is a requirement for data separation, effectively so that customer data is not available from other, less secure, areas of the network. To facilitate this we have a number of different networks, all firewalled off from each other.
    I am creating a backup platform that will use multiple LDOMs in the different networks to back up specific systems and I can obviously control network access from within the domains (this is why I am using domains not zones)
    The issue I am trying to avoid is the host server (or primary domain) having easy access to every network it is connected to.
    So, my question is when I plumb an interface in the primary domain that I am going to assign to a VSW, do I need to give it an IP address? Can I assign it a null address and just have the interface plumbed into the right VLAN. In fact, does an interface need to be plumbed at all in the primary domain?
    I guess what I am asking is do the guest domains use the IP address of the primary domain at all or is it completely separated by the hypervisor so that the guest domain effectively uses the network port as is.
    Note: I am using VLAN trunked interfaces as well to increase the number of interfaces available to me in case that matters.
    Josh

    Are you connecting to a home network?
    Talk to who setup the network.
    What is the wording of the message? Typically yo have to enter a password set by the people who administer the network

    I checked plugins registered in Database.

    You plugin assembly (OpportunityPlugins.Plugins.PostOpportunityUpdateEstCloseDt) has a reference to v.5.0.9690.2165 of the Microsoft.Xrm.Client assembly, and the error indicated that v.5.0.9690.2165 of the Microsoft.Xrm.Client assembly is not available in
    the new environment
    Ideally, plugins should not use the Microsoft.Xrm.Client assembly, but instead use the Microsoft.Xrm.Sdk assembly, which will always be available. So, the preferred solution would be to recreate the plugin assembly without the reference to the Microsoft.Xrm.Client
    assembly
    An alternate solution, which may be quicker, would be to recompile the plugin assembly against whichever version of the Microsoft.Xrm.Client assembly is on the system, but this won't solve potential future errors with future Crm versions

  • Acces both network interfaces at the same time

    Hello community,
    I have a little problem that I cant seem to solve.
    My iMac is connected wired to a network wich has all ports blocked except the the neccecery ports wich are required for the company network.
    Besides that, there is also an open wifi network wich has no ports blocked. In order for iMessage to work properly, I must use the wifi network, however when wifi is activated and is set as the first network, work related software dont work since they need a connection to the secure network.
    So my question is:
    Is there any way to acces both networks at the same time ?
    Or let one app use one network connection and another app use wifi.
    Thanks a lot!

    The behavior you describe sounds quite unusual. Can you provide a screenshot of the window you are attempting to move?
    If you are describing the process of moving a tab from one Internet Explorer window to another on a separate screen, you do not need to drag the tab to the taskbar icon when transitioning between
    windows, you can drag the tab directly from the row of tabs on one window to the other.
    If you are clicking a button in the window bar that minimizes multiple windows simultaneously, you may be describing a third party window management application (NVIDIA nView, AMD HYDRAVISION).

  • How many network interfaces the Airport Extreme (a/b/g/n with USB) has?

    I am trying to use an SNMP client on the computer to monitor my network traffic.
    I using the Airport Extreme (AEBS) to connect to the internet using PPPoE. wifi and ethernet (RJ45) ports are used for LAN
    Now after setting up the SNMP client, it shows so many interfaces the AEBS has, and most names of the interfaces cant give me a clue about what they are:
    1: mgi0
    2. mgi1
    3. mv0
    4. mv1
    5. lo0
    6. wlan0
    7. wlan1
    8. pppoe0
    9. bridge0
    The "pppoe0" interface is self evident. That's the overall traffic in and out of the router to the Internet.
    But I also want to monitor the traffic on my local computer, which is a Macbook Pro connected thru wifi. I also have a few other windows boxes on the LAN using wifi or ethernet connect.
    So I need to what those interfaces are.
    Is there any documentation regarding the network interfaces of the AEBS?

  • Unable to connect to Mac Pro with 2 network interfaces

    The Mac Pro has 2 network interfaces. The first one is connected to a local network and the other interface has an external IP address (connected directly to the internet).
    What we want to be able to do is to connect to the computer from home through the external interface and then be able to run applications on it that access a server on the local network. But, from home it is showing "Offline" in the "Current Status" column. If we try to connect it fails.
    The thing I can't figure out is why I can access it from work on a different local network, using the external IP address. It works fine that way. There are no hardware firewalls that could be causing it. So either way, it is coming into the computer through the external adapter.
    I'm stumped... Maybe it's something simple that I'm just missing. If you have any idea how I can access the computer from home please let me know so I can try it.
    Thanks.

    Just installed TeamViewer and we're using that. Works great.

  • How i can define network printer to report that can use it

    hi all
    i want to define network printer to the report
    and the format of the printer full name and its port ?
    another question
    when i use the local printer it print but there are web opened and contain uncertain
    letters
    i want this web to be closed

    Hi John
    Thanks for replying,
    My current setup is this, my non apple router is accessed wirelessly by all my computers, ie imac, mac mini and macbook pro, ipad & iphones for internet.
    My printer is in another room so therefore I cannot connect the AEBS (airport extreme base station) with an ethernet cable (I have intially in order to update the firmware and other updates) so in following the attached guidelines are you saying that I have to have the AEBS connected with the ethernet cable to the router?
    I was hoping to wirelessly connect.
    The wish is that all my devices can print wirelessly
    What has happened though is that I can access the AEBS wirelessly, but it has disabled me from my router so I cannot connect to the internet neither to that network
    Any other advice
    Thanks

  • How to choose the good Network Interface on a server ?

    Hi all,
    On server you have generally more than one ip address so ...How to choose the good Network Interface on a server for the NoSQL Node ?
    Thank you for all
    C.Pruvost.

    Hi Charles I only consider storage nodes and their replicated nodes.
    Actually I show an error in the logs saying that one of my storage node use a loopback address. On my laptop I have a network interface and a loopback address (disabled)...when starting sn1 I show that the port 5000 is only linked to the ip address 0.0.0.0 so it is not the good ip address..although i use for configuring :
    java -jar ..\lib\kvstore-2.0.23.jar makebootconfig -root root1 -port 5000 -admin 5001 -host ipaddress_of_my_laptop -harange 5010,5020
    and after
    java -jar ..\lib\kvstore-2.0.23.jar start -root root1
    If you have a sample tutorial that explains how simulate on the same laptop an Oracle NoSQL architecture running on 3 disctinct servers please give us this information.
    Thank you for all.

  • Setting network interface and ttl for MulticastSocket

    Hello
    I've tried to set the network interface and the TTL for a MulticastSocket, but it has no effect. For testing I set the TTL to '4' and the network interface to 'lo' (localhost), but everybody in the local area network get my message with TTL=1...
    I use Fedora Core 5 (Linux), with no settings in the iptables.
    Here is the code I used:
    private String networkInterface="lo";
    private String address="239.192.0.5";
    private int port=54321;
    private int mcastTtl=4;
    public void send(){
    InputStream input=getContextClassLoader().getResourceAsStream("something.xml");
    byte[] buffer = new byte[1480];
    int length = input.read(buffer,0, 1480);
    inetAddress = InetAddress.getByName(address);
    nInterface=NetworkInterface.getByName(networkInterface);
    MulticastSocket socket = new MulticastSocket(port);
    socket.joinGroup(inetAddress);
    DatagramPacket packet = new DatagramPacket(buffer, length,
    inetAddress, port);
    socket.setTimeToLive(mcastTtl);
    socket.setNetworkInterface(nInterface);
    socket.send(packet);
    socket.leaveGroup(inetAddress);
    For simplicity I took the Error handling off here, but certainly I have it in my code. No errors, no problems, everybody get the correct message... But not with the settings I made.
    Any tips?
    Thanks:
    Bence
