Insert and Edit NEW text not working

hi guys,
I would like to insert a new text. I thought i could use the touch-out tool but i can´t don´t know why. I did it with the typewriter tool. So the text is this
now i try to change the font type but i can´t. I do not get the Typeface Menu as the Acrobat Help says.

Indeed i do get it in the original PDF text but not in the new one.
I made a PDF from InDesign, i don´t have the original file with me now but i suposse i can edit the resulting PDF. I am reading Adobe online help but doesn´t work. I have Acrobat Pro 8.
Any help or ideas?

thanks for the good info CtDave. I thought that even Acrobat 8 Pro would let me introduce a text and change its font type without too much trouble. I see that i can change the font style from the original pdf texts but NOT from new inserted text. For i moment i thought it was something related to the PDF Security or Editting settings but that is not the case since there is no restrictions.
I guess i will keep trying to see what is wrong just for the learning process

LR2 and PS4 - merging to HDR, merge to Panaorama and Edit in Layers not working

I've recently upgraded from LR to LR2.1 and Photoshop CS to CS4. I've been trying to multi-select images from LR2 and edit them as HDR and Panoramas using the "Edit in->" merging options.
None of them seem to work. I can see PS CS4 being opened, but then nothing happens. No image is opened or dialog box shown anywhere. Closing PS doesn't prompt for any saving, etc.
I think the problem is because my RAW/DNG files are stored on a NAS. Trying to do the merge from PS directly using the files also doesn't work. But if I copy the files to my local HDD, then things work a lot better.
Is this a known issue with CS4?
iMac, OSX Leopard, 4Gb RAM.

I have done some more tests:
Setting up CS3 as "Additional External Editor" in LR2.1 Edit/Preferences/External Editing works fine with RAW ( .NEF ) files on NAS-drive.
Also CS4 as "Additional External Editor" works the same way. The procedure is the same as when CS3 was the standard editor, ie exporting a TIFF file from LR2.1.
The difference is that the standard CS4 integration is not writing TIFF files från LR, but has a more tight integration to CS4, which is much faster. But still not working when RAW files are on NAS. ( LR catalog files are on local disk ).
Configuration:
Dell dimension 9200
Windows Vista Home Premium ( 32-bit )
D-link DNS-323 NTFS file system
Lightroom 2.1
Photoshop CS4 Extended
Latest updates installed.

Try a reset, see if that corrects the problem.

Missing Format Text, Insert, and Edit Source, etc Options on Some Pages

I’m having trouble understanding why certain pages have more edit options than others. I’m new to Sharepoint Workspace 2010 and I’ve been reading/ researching for answers for 2 days now. I tried to HyperSnap in some pictures however it will not allow me
to until my account is verified and it's not sending a verification email, sorry!
Issue:
On some pages, I have the edit pencil with lots of great edit options such as Format Text, Insert and Edit Source. (This is good!)
On some pages I have no edit pencil, but when I go to Page
à Edit Page à I get few edit options, not including Format Text, Insert or Edit Source. (This is not good)
After reading other somewhat similar posts, I noticed that on the pages where I get lots of edit options, they show SitePages in the URL. Where I get few edit options, SitePages is not in the URL.
Is there a fix so that I can have the expanded edit options in all of my pages? Thank you for your help!

In SharePoint we don’t have edit page options [ribbon toolbar page edit formatting options] for all types of page for application page we cannot edit application page like site pages
again the missing edit button might be due to many causes:
Can you verify that it's not a permissions issue? Try navigating to the page in edit mode by appending to the url: your-site/Pages/YourPage.aspx?ControlMode=Edit&DisplayMode=Design
Or you can try this
your-site/Pages/YourPage.aspx? ?ToolPaneView=2
1. You can check that on some pages the ribbon is hidden by default. You need to make it visible by clicking on "Show Ribbon" on the "Site Actions" drop-down menu.
2. You haven't been doing Visual Upgrade (which actually replaces your master page with the v4.master)
3. If you have different master page and may be your master page is not 100% compatibile with SP2010, nor does it use the elements from v4.master (collaboration) or the example nightandday.master
To add the button in your page you could use the <SharePoint:PageStateActionButton id="PageStateActionButton" runat="server" Visible="false" /> (if you've seen already that would generate the button on the left side of
the ribbon)!

If she has backed up her iPhone she can replace that iPhone and set up the new iPhone from her backup.
You can put the iPhone that went into water into a plastic baggie with either new silica gel packets (preferred) or raw rice and let it sit for 4 - 5 days. After that time remove the phone and connect it to power for at least a half hour. While it is still connected to power reset it by holding down the power and hold button, wait for the Apple logo then let go of the buttons. Might take several tries. If it revives immediately back it up.

iCloud should still help you reduce some hard drive space. Just select "optimize" in the icloud tab in Mac Photo App preferences.
Granted, not the same as completely offloading your library to a back-up drive at your location.

I really can't comprehend the logic that leads to believe that password for old apple id will come to e-mail for new id. Buy may be I just misunderstood something. Contact Apple for assist with password retrieval. If you can verify yourself as account owner they may be able to help you.
